Abstract:We introduced a non-symmetric tensor product of any two states or any two representations of Cuntz-Krieger algebras associated with a certain non-cocommutative comultiplication in previous our work. In this paper, we show that a certain set of KMS states is closed with respect to the tensor product. From this, we obtain formulae of tensor product of type {\rm III} factor representations of Cuntz-Krieger algebras which is different from results of the tensor product of factors of type {\rm III}.

Abstract:Let $\mathfrak{g}$ be a symmetrizable Kac-Moody algebra, $U_q(\mathfrak{g})$ its quantum group, and $U_q(\mathfrak{k}) \subset U_q(\mathfrak{g})$ a quantum symmetric pair subalgebra determined by a Lie algebra automorphism $\theta$. We introduce a category $W_\theta$ of weight $U_q(\mathfrak{k})$-modules, which is acted upon by the category of weight $U_q(\mathfrak{g})$-modules via tensor products. We construct a universal tensor K-matrix $\mathbb{K}$ (that is, a solution of a reflection equation) in a completion of $U_q(\mathfrak{k}) \otimes U_q(\mathfrak{g})$. This yields a natural operator on any tensor product $M \otimes V$, where $M\in W_\theta$ and $V\in \mathcal{O}_\theta$, that is $V$ is a $U_q(\mathfrak{g})$-module in category $\mathcal{O}$ satisfying an integrability property determined by $\theta$. $W_\theta$ is equipped with a structure of a bimodule category over $\mathcal{O}_\theta$ and the action of $\mathbb{K}$ is encoded by a new categorical structure, which we call a boundary structure on $W_\theta$. This generalizes a result of Kolb which describes a braided module structure on finite-dimensional $U_q(\mathfrak{k})$-modules when $\mathfrak{g}$ is finite-dimensional. We apply our construction to the case of an affine Lie algebra, where it yields a formal tensor K-matrix valued in the endomorphisms of the tensor product of any module in $W_\theta$ and any finite-dimensional module over the corresponding quantum affine algebra. This formal series is normalized to a trigonometric K-matrix if the factors in the tensor product are both finite-dimensional irreducible modules over the quantum affine algebra.

Abstract:We consider infinite tensor product actions of $G = \mathbb{Z}/p\mathbb{Z}$ on the UHF-algebra $D = \text{End}(V)^{\otimes \infty}$ for a finite-dimensional unitary $G$-representation $V$ and determine the equivariant homotopy type of the group $\text{Aut}(D \otimes \mathbb{K})$, where $\mathbb{K}$ are the compact operators on $\ell^2(G) \otimes H_0$ for a separable Hilbert space $H_0$ with $\dim(H_0) = \infty$. We show that this group carries an equivariant infinite loop space structure revealing it as the first space of a naive $G$-spectrum, which we prove to be equivalent to the positive units $gl_1(KU^D)_+$ of equivariant $KU^D$-theory. Here, $KU^D$ is a $G$-spectrum representing $X \mapsto K_*^G(C(X) \otimes D)$. As a consequence the first group of the cohomology theory associated to $gl_1(KU^D)_+$ classifies equivariant $D \otimes \mathbb{K}$-bundles over finite CW-complexes.

Abstract:We construct an explicit abelian model for the operation of tensor $2$-product of $2$-representations of $\mathfrak{sl}_{2}^{+}$, specifically the product of a simple $2$-representation $\mathcal{L}(1)$ with a given abelian $2$-representation $\mathcal{V}$ taken from the $2$-category of algebras. We study the case $\mathcal{V}=\mathcal{L}(1)$ in detail, and we show that the $2$-product in this case recovers the expected structure. Our construction partially verifies a conjecture of Rouquier from 2008.

Abstract:The authors continue a series of articles studying certain unitary representations of the Richard Thompson groups $F,T,V$ called Pythagorean. They all extend to the Cuntz algebra $\mathcal{O}$ and conversely all representations of $\mathcal{O}$ are of this form. Via this approach we introduce a tensor product for a large class of representations of $F,T,V,\mathcal{O}$. We prove that a sub-category forms a tensor category and perform a number of explicit computations of fusion rules.

Abstract:Let $\mathfrak g$ be a symmetrizable Kac-Moody Lie algebra, and let $V_{\hat{\mathfrak g},\hbar}^\ell$, $L_{\hat{\mathfrak g},\hbar}^\ell$ be the quantum affine vertex algebras constructed in [11]. For any complex numbers $\ell$ and $\ell'$, we present an $\hbar$-adic quantum vertex algebra homomorphism $\Delta$ from $V_{\hat{\mathfrak g},\hbar}^{\ell+\ell'}$ to the twisted tensor product $\hbar$-adic quantum vertex algebra $V_{\hat{\mathfrak g},\hbar}^\ell\widehat\otimes V_{\hat{\mathfrak g},\hbar}^{\ell'}$. In addition, if both $\ell$ and $\ell'$ are positive integers, we show that $\Delta$ induces an $\hbar$-adic quantum vertex algebra homomorphism from $L_{\hat{\mathfrak g},\hbar}^{\ell+\ell'}$ to the twisted tensor product $\hbar$-adic quantum vertex algebra $L_{\hat{\mathfrak g},\hbar}^\ell\widehat\otimes L_{\hat{\mathfrak g},\hbar}^{\ell'}$. Moreover, we prove the coassociativity of $\Delta$.

Abstract:The aim of this paper is mainly to build a new representation-theoretic realization of finite root systems through the so-called Frobenius-type triangular matrix algebras by the method of reflection functors over any field. Finally, we give an analog of APR-tilting module for this class of algebras. The major conclusions contains the known results as special cases, e.g. that for path algebras over an algebraically closed field and for path algebras with relations from symmetrizable cartan matrices. Meanwhile, it means the corresponding results for some other important classes of algebras, that is, the path algebras of quivers over Frobenius algebras and the generalized path algebras endowed by Frobenius algebras at vertices.

Abstract:We review the properties of the Kronecker (direct, or tensor) product of square matrices $A \otimes B \otimes C \cdots$ in terms of Hubbard operators. In its simplest form, a Hubbard operator $X_n^{i,j}$ can be expressed as the $n$-square matrix which has entry 1 in position $(i,j)$ and zero in all other entries. The algebra and group properties of the observables that define a multipartite quantum system are notably straightforward in such a framework. In particular, we use the Kronecker product in Hubbard notation to get the Clebsch-Gordan decomposition of the product group $SU(2) \times SU(2)$. Finally, the $n$-dimensional irreducible representations so obtained are used to derive closed forms of the Clebsch-Gordan coefficients that rule the addition of angular momenta. Our results can be further developed in many different directions.

Abstract:In this paper, we extend the results of Grantcharov and Robitaille in 2021 on mixed tensor products and Capelli determinants to the superalgebra setting. Specifically, we construct a family of superalgebra homomorphisms $\varphi_R : U(\mathfrak{gl}(m+1|n)) \rightarrow \mathcal{D}'(m|n) \otimes U(\mathfrak{gl}(m|n))$ for a certain space of differential operators $\mathcal{D}'(m|n)$ indexed by a central element $R$ of $\mathcal{D}'(m|n) \otimes U(\mathfrak{gl}(m|n))$. We then use this homomorphism to determine the image of Gelfand generators of the center of $U(\mathfrak{gl}(m+1|n))$. We achieve this by first relating $\varphi_R$ to the corresponding Harish-Chandra homomorphisms and then proving a super-analog of Newton's formula for $\mathfrak{gl}(m)$ relating Capelli generators and Gelfand generators. We also use the homomorphism $\varphi_R$ to obtain representations of $U(\mathfrak{gl}(m+1|n))$ from those of $U(\mathfrak{gl}(m|n))$, and find conditions under which these inflations are simple. Finally, we show that for a distinguished central element $R_1$ in $\mathcal{D}'(m|n)\otimes U(\mathfrak{gl}(m|n))$, the kernel of $\varphi_{R_1}$ is the ideal of $U(\mathfrak{gl}(m+1|n))$ generated by the first Gelfand invariant $G_1$.

Abstract:For a split quasireductive supergroup $G$ defined over a field, we study structure and representation of Frobenius kernels $G_r$ of $G$ and we give a necessary and sufficient condition for $G_r$ to be unimodular in terms of the root system of $G$. We also establish Steinberg's tensor product theorem for $G$ under some natural assumptions.

Abstract:We introduce a new elliptic quantum toroidal algebra U_{q,\kappa,p}(g_tor) associated with an arbitrary toroidal algebra g_tor. We show that U_{q,\kappa,p}(g_tor) contains two elliptic quantum algebras associated with a corresponding affine Lie algebra bg as subalgebras. They are analogue of the horizontal and the vertical subalgebras in the quantum toroidal algebra U_{q,\kappa}(g_tor). A Hopf algebroid structure is introduced as a co-algebra structure of U_{q,\kappa,p}(g_tor) using the Drinfeld comultiplication. We also investigate the Z-algebra structure of U_{q,\kappa,p}(g_tor) and show that the Z-algebra governs the irreducibility of the level (k(\not=0),l)-infinite dimensional U_{q,\kappa,p}(g_tor)-modules in the same way as in the elliptic quantum group U_{q,p}(g). As an example, we construct the level (1,l) irreducible representation of U_{q,\kappa,p}(g_tor) for the simply laced gtor. We also construct the level (0,1) representation of U_{q,\kappa,p}(g_N,tor) and discuss a conjecture on its geometric interpretation as an action on the torus equivariant elliptic cohomology of the affine A_{N-1} quiver variety.

Abstract:We define the Hopf superalgebra U_T sl(1,1), which is a variant of the quantum supergroup U_q sl(1,1), and its tensor product representations V_1^{\otimes n} for n>0. We construct families of DG algebras A, B and R_n, and consider the DG categories DGP(A), DGP(B) and DGP(R_n), which are full DG subcategories of the categories of DG A-, B- and R_n-modules generated by certain distinguished projective modules. Their 0th homology categories HP(A), HP(B), and HP(R_n) are triangulated and give algebraic formulations of the contact categories of an annulus, a twice punctured disk, and an n times punctured disk. We categorify the multiplication and comultiplication on U_T sl(1,1) to a bifunctor HP(A) \times HP(A) --> HP(A) and a functor HP(A) --> HP(B), respectively. The U_T sl(1,1)-action on V_1^{\otimes n} is lifted to a bifunctor HP(A) \times HP(R_n) --> HP(R_n).

On Topics Related to Tensor Products with Abelian von Neumann Algebras

Abstract:In this note, we developed several results concerning abelian von Neumann algebras, their spectrums, and their tensor products with other von Neumann algebras. In particular, we developed a theory connecting elements of the spectrum of $L^\infty(\Omega, \mu)$ with ultrafilters on a Boolean algebra associated with $(\Omega, \mu)$, generalizing the case where $\Omega$ is a discrete space and its spectrum is identified with the space of ultrafilters on $\Omega$. These ultrafilters were also used to define a new kind of tracial ultrapowers. We also developed a theory representing elements of $L^\infty(\Omega, \mu) \bar{\otimes} M$ as functions that are continuous from the spectrum to $M$ equipped with the weak* topology, analogous to the classical direct integral theory, but which can apply to non-separable von Neumann algebras. We then applied this theory to prove several structural results of isomorphisms $L^\infty(\Omega, \mu) \bar{\otimes} M \rightarrow L^\infty(\Omega, \mu) \bar{\otimes} N$ where $M$ and $N$ are $\mathrm{II}_1$ factors and placed several constraints on $M$ and $N$. The ultrafilter representation of the spectrum was then used to perform certain calculations to provide specific examples regarding the spectrum representations of tensor products as well as the structures of isomorphisms $L^\infty(\Omega, \mu) \bar{\otimes} M \rightarrow L^\infty(\Omega, \mu) \bar{\otimes} N$.

Abstract:Hypergraphs and tensors extend classic graph and matrix theory to account for multiway relationships, which are ubiquitous in engineering, biological, and social systems. While the Kronecker product is a potent tool for analyzing the coupling of systems in graph or matrix contexts, its effectiveness in capturing multiway interactions remains elusive. In this article, we present a comprehensive exploration of algebraic, structural, and spectral properties of the tensor Kronecker product. We express Tucker and tensor train decompositions and various tensor eigenvalues in terms of the tensor Kronecker product. Additionally, we utilize the tensor Kronecker product to form Kronecker hypergraphs, a tensor-based hypergraph product, and investigate the structure and stability of polynomial dynamics on Kronecker hypergraphs. Finally, we provide numerical examples to demonstrate the utility of the tensor Kronecker product in computing Z-eigenvectors, various tensor decompositions, and determining the stability of polynomial systems.
