Abstract:Urea is one of the central organic combinations in urine of human bodies. Excessive excretion of urea causes a decrease in blood flow to the kidney and heart. As a result, it is very crucial to sense the urea level in blood for the effective diagnosis of kidney and heart illnesses. Lately, surface plasmon resonance–based biosensor (SPRBB) is applied for diverse bio-sensing. Here, SPRBS is exploited for the determination of urea level in blood. Based on transfer matrix, the Kretschmann design is investigated to expound the reflectivity of the projected SPRBB. The influence of Ag and Si thicknesses is inspected and considered to achieve the best angular sensitivity. Various levels of urea are studied and analyzed. The finest sensitivity of 373.49 Degree /RIU is realized for 1 g/dl urea level. Also, the suggested SPRBB is low cost, label-free detecting, and tiny time spending. With these crucial advantages, it is envisioned that the considered SPRBB can be strongly progressed for urea level detection and bio-medical analyses.
