Abstract:We show that any complete noncompact shrinking gradient Ricci soliton with (1) |Rc|→0 at infinity or (2) R→0 at infinity, |Rm| bounded, and κ-noncollapsed has a unique asymptotic cone.

Abstract:In this paper, we give a rigidity theorem for a complete non-compact expanding (or steady) Ricci soliton with nonnegative Ricci curvature and certain scalar curvature decay condition. As an application, we prove that any complete non-compact expanding (or steady) Kähler-Ricci solitons with positively pinched Ricci curvature should be Ricci flat. The result answers a question proposed by Chow, Lu and Ni in case of Kähler-Ricci solitons.

Abstract:In the paper, we analysis the asymptotic behavior of noncompact κ-noncollapsed steady gradient Ricci soliton (M, g) with nonnegative curvature operator away from a compact set K of M. In particular, we prove: any 4d noncompact κ-noncollapsed steady gradient Ricci soliton (M^4, g) with nonnegative sectional curvature must be a Bryant Ricci soliton up to scaling if it admits a sequence of rescaled flows of (M^4, g), which converges subsequently to a family of shrinking quotient cylinders.

Abstract:In this paper we study 4d gradient steady Ricci solitons, which are weak $\kappa$-solutions, and admit O(3)-symmetry. Under a weak curvature decay condition, we find precise geometric asymptotics of such solitons, which are similar to those for 3d compact $\kappa$-solutions found in [ABDS22]. This is the first step towards the classification of 4d gradient steady Ricci solitons and more general ancient Ricci flows.

Abstract:Given an asymptotically conical, shrinking, gradient Ricci soliton, we show that there exists a Ricci flow solution on a closed manifold that forms a finite-time singularity modeled on the given soliton. No symmetry or Kahler assumptions on the soliton are required. The proof provides a precise asymptotic description of the singularity formation.

Abstract:We show that every gradient shrinking soliton of the generalized Ricci flow on compact manifold is a Ricci soliton. And we prove that the pluriclosed soliton is gradient Kahler-Ricci soliton under a broad cohomological condition. Moreover, we construct the first example of non-trivial shrinking generalized soliton, which can serve as a singularity model of the generalized Ricci flow.

Abstract:Suppose $(M^n, g, f)$ is a complete shrinking gradient Ricci soliton. We give several rigidity results under some natural conditions, generalizing the results in \cite{Petersen-Wylie,Guan-Lu-Xu}. Using maximum principle, we prove that shrinking gradient Ricci soliton with constant scalar curvature $R=1$ is isometric to a finite quotient of $\mathbb{R}^2\times \mathbb{S}^2$, giving a new proof of the main results of Cheng-Zhou \cite{Cheng-Zhou}.

Abstract:We discover a “no semistability at infinity” phenomenon for complete Calabi-Yau metrics asymptotic to cones, which is proved by eliminating the possible appearance of an intermediate K-semistable cone in the 2-step degeneration theory developed by Donaldson and the first author. It is in sharp contrast to the setting of local singularities of Kähler-Einstein metrics. A byproduct of the proof is a polynomial convergence rate to the asymptotic cone for such manifolds, which bridges the gap between the general theory of Colding-Minicozzi and the classification results of Conlon-Hein.

Abstract:Motivated by recent work of Deruelle-Schulze-Simon, we study complete weakly PIC1 Ricci flows with Euclidean volume growth coming out of metric cones. We show that such a Ricci flow must be an expanding gradient Ricci soliton, and as a consequence, any metric cone at infinity of a complete weakly PIC1 Kähler manifold with Euclidean volume growth is biholomorphic to complex Euclidean space in a canonical way.

Abstract:We establish a dichotomy on the curvature decay for four dimensional complete noncompact non Ricci flat steady gradient Ricci soliton with linear curvature decay and proper potential function. Abstract:In this paper, we study the fundamental group of the complete steady gradient Ricci soliton with nonnegative sectional curvature. We prove that the fundamental group of such a Ricci soliton is either trivial or infinite. As a corollary, we show that an $n$-dimensional complete $\kappa$-noncollapsed steady gradient Ricci soliton with nonnegative sectional curvature must be diffeomorphic to $\mathbb{R}^n$.

Abstract:The investigation of Ricci solitons is the focus of this work. We have proved triviality results for compact gradient Ricci soliton under certain restriction. Later, a rigidity result is derived for a compact gradient shrinking Ricci soliton. Also, we have estimated the conjugate radius for non-compact gradient shrinking Ricci soliton with superharmonic potential. Moreover, an upper bound for the conjugate radius of Ricci soliton with concircular potential vector field is determined. Finally, it is proved that a non-compact gradient Ricci soliton with a pole and non-negative Ricci curvature is non-shrinking.
