Using British Experience on Vocational Education for Reference andExploring Developing Ways of Higher Vocation

Abstract:British Experiences on vocational education are as follows:attaching importance to legislation about vocational education; Considering student-centered as their education ideas; Combining ordinary education into vocational education;coorperating between education departments and enterprises;practicing energetically the system of national vocation qualifications; on reform of curriculum initiating education and training based on ability standard. According to the experiences above, the author puts forward the following ideas: the model of running school, such as one object, two supports and a platform of their levels; the thought of constructing their kinds of tropps. That is the total process of educating and teaching opsitioning at exact cultivated object; running schools depending upon trade organization and trade research association; setting up talent cultivated model on interaction between schools and enterprises; buildintg a teaching platform of three levels including tools subject, basic theories for subjects and subjects skills ,developing different teaching activities according to different requirements so as to keep the qualities of students fit for cultivatad odjects; constructing their kinds of troops including type of theory, type of skills and type of double skill, which have their own characteristics and can supplement and promote and develop with each orther in order to realize the culivated objects.
