Abstract:The genus Eudemopsis Falkovitsh is recorded from Laos for the first time as the new species Eudemopsis squamapanna Pinkaew & Muadsub sp. nov. Illustrations of adults and their genitalia are provided. In addition, Fansipaniana Razowski, 2009, is synonymized with Eudemopsis , resulting in two new combinations: E. fansipana (Razowski), comb.nov. and E. tamdaoensis (Heppner & Bae), comb. nov. The addition of these three species increases the number of described Eudemopsis to 15.

Abstract:Aspila pibooni sp. nov. is described and illustrated from Thailand. The species is provisionally assigned to Aspila on the basis of morphological features of the male and female genitalia. Superficially, the new species resembles three Afrotropical species of Cydia (Grapholitini), all of which lack the distinctive coremata and a pair of short projections from the eight sternite that characterize the Grapholita group of genera to which Aspila belongs.

Abstract:Two new species of Fibuloides are described from eastern Thailand: F. tratensis Jaikla and Pinkaew, n.sp., and F. bulla Jaikla and Pinkaew, n.sp. Males of F. tratensis have modified labial palpi with specialized scales that have not been reported for other Tortricidae. Descriptions and illustrations of adults and genitalia are provided for the two new species collected from Trat Agroforestry Research and Training Station, eastern Thailand.

Abstract:Two new species of carnivorous microsnails in the genus Sinoennea Kobelt, 1904, from Laos, are described herein. Sinoennea bounphanmyae Inkhavilay and Vanhdibay sp. n. from Vientiane Province is characterised by an ovate and nearly smooth-surfaced glossy shell, ear-shaped aperture, apertural dentition with five folds (parietal, two palatal, and two columellar), and a wide umbilicus with a periumbilical groove. The other species, S. houaphanica Inkhavilay, Inthavong and Oulaiseng sp. n. from Houaphanh Province, is characterised by an ovate cylindrical, glossy, and ribbed shell; rounded aperture; parietal callus not elevated; apertural dentition with three folds (parietal, lower palatal, and columellar); and a narrow umbilicus with swelling on the inner part of the last whorl. Abstract:Paraxenoacria gen. nov. , a new genus belonging to the family Peleopodidae is described to accommodate a new species Paraxenoacria spinosa sp. nov. from Bangladesh. This genus is peculiar and clearly distinct from the other genera of this family and others of the related families on the basis of external morphology as well as genitalia features of males such as having downwardly curved digitiform projections in the tegumen and distinct shape of the valva. Additionally, analysis of observations from different citizen science platforms reveals that this newly described genus is distributed throughout South-East Asia up to Malaysia. The biological aspects of this new species are also provided. The genus is tentatively being placed within the subfamily Acriinae due to its close resemblance to the genus Acria Stephens, 1834 pending further comprehensive taxonomic study.

Abstract:The nogodinid genus Goniopsara Metcalf, 1952 is revised. The type species of the genus, Goniopsara mystica (Melichar, 1899), is redescribed and illustrated along with male genitalia structure is examined and described for the first time. A new species, Goniopsara ridens sp. nov. , is described from Laos. A key to species of Goniopsara is given and the relatioships of this genus with Goniopsarites Meng, Wang et Wang, 2014 is briefly discussed.

Abstract:Two previously undescribed species of Bactrocera Macquart with distinct orange medial stripes on the scutum were collected in multi-lure traps baited with cue-lure during a fruit fly survey carried out in the Philippines in 2019. We describe Bactrocera youngi sp. n. and B. ellenriederae sp. n. , both in the subgenus Bactrocera An illustrated identification key is given for all known species of Bactrocera with orange stripes on the scutum. COI mitochondrial DNA sequences confirm that our new species are distinct from the other species with orange stripes. Additionally, B. bivittata Lin & Wang, 2005 is recorded from Thailand for the first time.

Abstract:Dacnusini is a species-rich tribe in the subfamily Alysiinae, with most species exclusively serving as parasitoids of leaf-mining Diptera (Agromyzidae). The number of genera discovered in China remains limited, which is apparently insufficient considering the global diversity of species and genera within this tribe, particularly given the vast and ecologically diverse landscapes of China. In the present study, three new record genera, Victorovita Tobias, Coloneura Foerster, and Laotris Nixon, were documented for the first time in China. In addition, the species delimitation approach and haplotype network analyses based on the COI sequences, combined with morphological evidence, were employed to delimit species. The findings indicated three new species: Laotris glabella sp. nov., Laotris aethidentata sp. nov., and Victorovita aequalis sp. nov. Additionally, K2P divergences showed no overlap between intra- and interspecific genetic distances in the Laotris and Victorovita species. Detailed descriptions for new species and keys to the species of Laotris and Victorovita are provided in this paper, along with the documentation of two new species records for China: Victorovita caudata (Szépligeti, 1901) and Coloneura stylata Foerster, 1863.

Abstract:Two novel species of Diatrypaceae, Diatrypella tectonae and Peroneutypa mackenziei, were collected from dead wood in northern Thailand. The new species are introduced in this paper, with evidence from morphology and phylogenetic analyses. The new taxa are described, illustrated and compared with related taxa. Phylogenetic analyses of combined ITS and partial β-tubulin (β-tub) sequence data support their natural placements in the genera Diatrypella and Peroneutypa as new species.

Abstract:A taxonomic study of Spilonota Stephens, 1834, in Korea is conducted, and S . prognathana (Snellen, 1883) which had previously been merged with S . albicana (Motschulsky, 1866) is separated again. Additionally, as a result of research based on materials from Incheon National University two new species; S . samseong Choi, Bae & Nasu, S . laticucullusa Choi, Bae & Nasu proposed from Korea. The study provides brief descriptions of Spilonota species in Korea, with illustrations of the adult and genital morphology. Identification key for the known species reported from Korea is included.

Abstract:In the present study, three new species and one new record are recognized using morphology and DNA barcording analysis. In China, six species of Statherotmantis Diakonoff, 1973 were previously recorded. In the present study, four other species were recognized using morphology and DNA barcording analysis. Among these, three of which, S. miniscula sp. n., S. calva sp. n., and S. longiuscula sp. n., are described as new. In addition, one species, S. laetana Kuznetzov, 1988, is a new record for China. Adults and genitalia are illustrated, and keys to identify the Chinese species of Statherotmantis are provided.

Abstract:Three new species of Lycaenidae, Falcuna nouabaleensis sp. nov. , Anthene sangha sp. nov. and Neurellipes smithi sp. nov. are described from material collected during recent African Natural History Research Trust expeditions to Parc National de Nouabalé-Ndoki in northern Republic of Congo. Several other interesting taxa were also sampled including the unknown male of Ornipholidotos ghesquierei Libert, 2005 and a short series of unidentified female Pilodeudorix Druce, 1891 specimens near P. catori (Bethune-Baker, 1903) which are all illustrated. The distribution of species in this area of Central Africa is discussed in relation to the biogeography of the interfluvial region between the Sangha and Congo Rivers.
