Abstract:To advance the science and practice of injury control and safety promotion, researchers conduct studies that provide valuable information on the complex relationships between exposures and outcomes of interest. Most individual studies are often not considered as providing the definitive universal answer to the research question of interest, but, if well designed, properly conducted, analysed, and interpreted, any research study could contribute to the body of evidence on a particular research question.
