Abstract:Medication-related osteonecrosis of the jaws (MRONJ) is a severe complication that can occur in patients treated with antiresorptive or antiangiogenic drugs. In this case, a 56-year-old woman was undergoing palliative treatment for breast cancer, which included the use of zoledronic acid, trastuzumab, and pertuzumab. She presented with a painful oral lesion that had developed over a month and was referred to a dentist for evaluation. The patient also reported using a lower partial denture for the past 6 months.
