Abstract:We isolated peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) from a healthy female donor, and successfully converted into induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs) by using non-integrating episomal vectors. These iPSCs displayed a normal karyotype, expressed markers of pluripotency, and showed the capacity to differentiate into three germ layers in vitro, which could be utilized for future research endeavors.
