Abstract:Abstract. Leukocyte immunoglobulin-like receptor (LILR) B4 (also known as ILT3/CD85k) is an immune checkpoint protein that is highly expressed in solid tumors and hematological malignancies and plays a significant role in the pathophysiology of cancer. LILRB4 is highly expressed in acute myeloid leukemia (AML), and this phenotype is associated with adverse patient outcomes. Its differential expression in tumors compared to normal tissues, its presence in tumor stem cells, and its multifaceted roles in tumorigenesis position it as a promising therapeutic target in AML. Currently, several immunotherapies targeting LILRB4 are undergoing clinical trials. This review summarizes advancements made in the study of LILRB4 in AML, focusing on its structure, ligands, expression, and significance in normal tissues and AML; its protumorigenic effects and mechanisms in AML; and the application of LILRB4-targeted therapies in AML. These insights highlight the potential advantages of LILRB4 as an immunotherapeutic target in the context of AML.

Abstract:LILRB4, a myeloid inhibitory receptor belonging to the family of leukocyte immunoglobulin-like receptors (LILRs/LIRs), plays a pivotal role in the regulation of immune tolerance. LILRB4 primarily mediates suppressive immune responses by transmitting inhibitory signals through immunoreceptor tyrosine-based inhibitory motifs (ITIMs). This immune checkpoint molecule has gained considerable attention due to its potent regulatory functions. Its ability to induce effector T cell dysfunction and promote T suppressor cell differentiation has been demonstrated, indicating the therapeutic potential of LILRB4 for modulating excessive immune responses, particularly in autoimmune diseases or the induction of transplant tolerance. Additionally, through intervening with LILRB4 molecules, immune system responsiveness can be adjusted, representing significant value in areas such as cancer treatment. Thus, LILRB4 has emerged as a key player in addressing autoimmune diseases, transplant tolerance induction, and other medical issues. In this review, we provide a comprehensive overview of LILRB4, encompassing its structure, expression, and ligand molecules as well as its role as a tolerance receptor. By exploring the involvement of LILRB4 in various diseases, its significance in disease progression is emphasized. Furthermore, we propose that the manipulation of LILRB4 represents a promising immunotherapeutic strategy and highlight its potential in disease prevention, treatment and diagnosis.

Pan-cancer analysis reveals distinct clinical, genomic, and immunological features of the LILRB immune checkpoint family in acute myeloid leukemia

Abstract:Leukocyte immunoglobulin (Ig)-like receptor Bs (LILRBs), a family of type I transmembrane glycoproteins, are known to inhibit immune activation. Here, we comprehensively evaluated the molecular, prognostic, and immunological characteristics of LILRB members in a broad spectrum of cancer types, focusing on their roles in acute myeloid leukemia (AML). We showed that LILRBs were significantly dysregulated in a number of cancers and were associated with immune-inhibitory phenotypes. Clinically, high expression of LILRB1-LILRB4 predicted poor survival in six independent AML cohorts. Genetically, LILRB1 was associated with more mutational events than other LILRB members, and multiple genes involved in immune activation were deleted in LILRB1 high patients. Epigenetically, LILRB4 was significantly hypomethylated and marked by MLL-associated histone modifications in AML. Immunologically, LILRBs were positively associated with monocytic cells, including M2 macrophages, but were negatively associated with tumor-suppressive CD8 T cells. Importantly, patients with higher LILRB expression generally showed a better response to immune checkpoint blockade (ICB) in five independent immunotherapy cohorts. Our findings reveal critical immunological and clinical implications of LILRBs in AML and indicate that LILRBs may represent promising targets for immunotherapy of AML.

This result suggests that leukemia exploits unique escape mechanisms. Certain immune inhibitory receptors that are expressed by normal immune cells are also present on leukemia cells. It remains unknown whether these receptors can initiate immune-related primary signaling in tumor cells. Here we show that LILRB4, an ITIM-containing receptor and a monocytic leukemia marker, supports tumor cell infiltration into tissues and suppresses T cell activity via ApoE/LILRB4/SHP-2/uPAR/Arginase-1 signaling axis in acute myeloid leukemia (AML) cells. Blocking LILRB4 signaling using knockout and antagonistic antibody approaches eliminated AML development. Thus, LILRB4 orchestrates tumor invasive pathways in monocytic leukemia cells by creating an immune-suppressive microenvironment. LILRB4 represents an attractive target for treatment of monocytic AML.
Targeting the CD47-SIRPα Signaling Axis: Current Studies on B-cell Lymphoma Immunotherapy

Abstract:The function of the immune system in cancer initiation and progression has been widely examined. Notably, immunotherapy has become a promising approach for cancer treatment. CD47, a member of the immunoglobulin superfamily, plays an important role in the immune regulation of cancer by binding to SIRPα. Multiple studies have detected high CD47 expression on the surface of tumor cells, which indicates poor prognosis. Treatments that block the interaction of CD47 and SIRPα significantly suppress tumor growth and metastasis through diverse mechanisms, such as phagocytosis, antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxicity, and apoptosis. Recently, several studies have reported increased CD47 expression on different types of lymphoma cells, indicating that the CD47-SIRPα pathway can be used as a therapeutic target in lymphoma. This review focuses on the role of CD47-SIRPα in B-cell lymphoma and discusses promising therapeutic strategies targeting the CD47-SIRPα axis, which yield insights into the immunotherapy of B-cell lymphoma.

Abstract:Inhibitory leukocyte immunoglobulin-like receptors (LILRB1-5) signal through immunoreceptor tyrosine-based inhibitory motifs (ITIMs) in their intracellular domains and recruit phosphatases protein tyrosine phosphatase, non-receptor type 6 (PTPN6, SHP-1), protein tyrosine phosphatase, non-receptor type 6 (PTPN6, SHP-2), or Src homology 2 domain containing inositol phosphatase (SHIP) to negatively regulate immune cell activation. These receptors are known to play important regulatory roles in immune and neuronal functions. Recent studies demonstrated that several of these receptors are expressed by cancer cells. Importantly, they may directly regulate development, drug resistance, and relapse of cancer, and the activity of cancer stem cells. Although counterintuitive, these findings are consistent with the generally immune-suppressive and thus tumor-promoting roles of the inhibitory receptors in the immune system. This review focuses on the ligands, expression pattern, signaling, and function of LILRB family in the context of cancer development. Because inhibition of the signaling of certain LILRBs directly blocks cancer growth and stimulates immunity that may suppress tumorigenesis, but does not disturb normal development, LILRB signaling pathways may represent ideal targets for treating hematological malignancies and perhaps other tumors.

Thus, LILRB4 orchestrates tumour invasion pathways in monocytic leukaemia cells by creating an immunosuppressive microenvironment. LILRB4 represents a compelling target for the treatment of monocytic AML.

Abstract:Identifying novel cell surface receptors that regulate leukemia cell differentiation and can be targeted to inhibit cellular proliferation is crucial to improve current treatment modalities in acute myeloid leukemia (AML), especially for relapsed or chemotherapy-refractory leukemia. Leukocyte immunoglobulin-like receptor type B (LILRB) is an immunomodulatory receptor originally found to be expressed in myeloid cells. In this study, we found that LILRB receptors can be induced under inflammatory stimuli and chemotherapy treatment conditions. Blockade of LILRB3 inhibited leukemia cell proliferation and leukemia progression. In addition, treatment with LILRB3 blocking antibodies upregulated myeloid lineage differentiation transcription factors, including PU.1, C/EBP family, and IRF, whereas phosphorylation of proliferation regulators, for example, AKT, cyclin D1, and retinoblastoma protein, was decreased. Conversely, transcriptomic analysis showed LILRB3 activation by agonist antibodies may enhance leukemia survival through upregulation of cholesterol metabolism, which has been shown to promote leukemia cell survival. Moreover, LILRB3-targeted CAR T cells exhibited potent antitumor effects both in vitro and in vivo. Taken together, our results suggest that LILRB3 is a potentially potent target for multiple treatment modalities in AML. Significance: LILRB3 regulates differentiation and proliferation in acute myeloid leukemia and can be targeted with monoclonal antibodies and CAR T cells to suppress leukemia growth.

Abstract:Leukocyte immunoglobulin-like receptor B (LILRB), a family of immune checkpoint receptors, contributes to acute myeloid leukemia (AML) development, but the specific mechanisms triggered by activation or inhibition of these immune checkpoints in cancer is largely unknown. Here we demonstrate that the intracellular domain of LILRB3 is constitutively associated with the adaptor protein TRAF2. Activated LILRB3 in AML cells leads to recruitment of cFLIP and subsequent NF-κB upregulation, resulting in enhanced leukemic cell survival and inhibition of T-cell-mediated anti-tumor activity. Hyperactivation of NF-κB induces a negative regulatory feedback loop mediated by A20, which disrupts the interaction of LILRB3 and TRAF2; consequently the SHP-1/2-mediated inhibitory activity of LILRB3 becomes dominant. Finally, we show that blockade of LILRB3 signaling with antagonizing antibodies hampers AML progression. LILRB3 thus exerts context-dependent activating and inhibitory functions, and targeting LILRB3 may become a potential therapeutic strategy for AML treatment.

Abstract:<h3 class="u-h4 u-margin-m-top u-margin-xs-bottom">Background</h3>Leukocyte immunoglobulin-like receptor subfamily B (LILRB) is a group of inhibitory receptors involved in innate immune mainly expressed on lymphoid and myelomonocytic cells. LILRB is proposed to serve as immune checkpoint like PD-1 and CTLA-4 for tumor treatment. We recently reported that the expression of LILRB2 in CD1c+ mDC from tumor tissue might suppress immune for HCC patients. However, the expression of all the LILRB family on other immune cells in peripheral blood and tumor microenvironment of HCC patients has not been systematically studied.<h3 class="u-h4 u-margin-m-top u-margin-xs-bottom">Methods</h3>The expression of LILRB family (LILRB1, LILRB2, LILRB3, LILRB4 and LILRB5) on immune cells, including granulocytes, NK cells, NKT cells, monocyte subsets, TAMs, B cells, γδ T cells, CD4+ T cells, CD8+ T cells and MDSC subsets, was analyzed by flow cytometry in the peripheral blood of 20 HCC patients and 20 healthy donors as well as in the tumor and tumor free tissues of 10 HCC patients.<h3 class="u-h4 u-margin-m-top u-margin-xs-bottom">Results</h3>LILRB1, LILRB2 and LILRB3 in granulocytes from peripheral blood were expressed increased in HCC patients compared with healthy donors. The expression of LILRB5 in NK cells and NKT cells from HCC blood were higher compared with healthy donors` blood. CD14+CD16+ monocyte subsets in blood of HCC patients expressed increased LILRB1 and LILRB4 than that in healthy donors. CD14+CD16− monocyte subsets in blood of HCC patients expressed increased LILRB3 than that in healthy donors. Compared to corresponding TFL, LILRB3, LILRB4 and LILRB5 were expressed enhanced in TAMs from HCC tumors. LILRB1 expressed on the B cells both in the blood and tumor had significantly increased compared with healthy donors or corresponding TFL. Different from peripheral blood, in the HCC microenvironment, CD4+ T cells expressed lower LILRB2, LILRB3 and LILRB4 than that from TFL and CD8+ T cells expressed decreased LILRB2. And γδ T cells expressed LILRB1 in HCC blood and microenvironment. Surprisingly, the percentage of LILRB1 expressed on MDSC from HCC peripheral blood and tumors was lower than that from healthy donors and corresponding TFL.<h3 class="u-h4 u-margin-m-top u-margin-xs-bottom">Conclusions</h3>This is the first systemically examination of the LILRB family expression on a variety of immune cells from both peripheral blood and microenvironment in HCC patients. The specific increasing expression of LILRB on immune cells may regulate innate and adaptive immune and impact on HCC progression. Our findings justify further investigation of LILRB function in HCC.

Abstract:Background Current immune checkpoint blockade strategies have been successful in treating certain types of solid cancer. However, checkpoint blockade monotherapies have not been successful against most hematological malignancies including multiple myeloma and leukemia. There is an urgent need to identify new targets for development of cancer immunotherapy. LILRB1, an immunoreceptor tyrosine-based inhibitory motif-containing receptor, is widely expressed on human immune cells, including B cells, monocytes and macrophages, dendritic cells and subsets of natural killer (NK) cells and T cells. The ligands of LILRB1, such as major histocompatibility complex (MHC) class I molecules, activate LILRB1 and transduce a suppressive signal, which inhibits the immune responses. However, it is not clear whether LILRB1 blockade can be effectively used for cancer treatment. Methods First, we measured the LILRB1 expression on NK cells from cancer patients to determine whether LILRB1 upregulated on NK cells from patients with cancer, compared with NK cells from healthy donors. Then, we developed specific antagonistic anti-LILRB1 monoclonal antibodies and studied the effects of LILRB1 blockade on the antitumor immune function of NK cells, especially in multiple myeloma models, in vitro and in vivo xenograft model using non-obese diabetic (NOD)-SCID interleukin-2Rγ-null mice. Results We demonstrate that percentage of LILRB1 + NK cells is significantly higher in patients with persistent multiple myeloma after treatment than that in healthy donors. Further, the percentage of LILRB1 + NK cells is also significantly higher in patients with late-stage prostate cancer than that in healthy donors. Significantly, we showed that LILRB1 blockade by our antagonistic LILRB1 antibody increased the tumoricidal activity of NK cells against several types of cancer cells, including multiple myeloma, leukemia, lymphoma and solid tumors, in vitro and in vivo . Conclusions Our results indicate that blocking LILRB1 signaling on immune effector cells such as NK cells may represent a novel strategy for the development of anticancer immunotherapy.

Abstract:Although multiple myeloma (MM) responds well to immunotherapeutic treatment, certain portions of MM are still unresponsive or relapse after immunotherapy. Other immune molecules are needed for the immunotherapy of MM. Here, we revealed that leukocyte immunoglobulin-like receptor B4 (LILRB4) was highly expressed in multiple myeloma cell lines and patient samples and that the expression of LILRB4 was adversely correlated with the overall survival of MM patients. Knockdown of LILRB4 efficiently delayed the growth of MM cells both in vitro and in vivo. Mechanistically, IKZF1 transactivated LILRB4 expression to trigger the downstream of STAT3-PFKFB1 pathways to support MM cell proliferation. Blockade of LILRB4 signaling by blocking antibodies can effectively inhibit MM progression. Our data show that targeting LILRB4 is potentially an additional therapeutic strategy for the immunotherapeutic treatment of MM.

Abstract:According to the latest global cancer statistics, colorectal cancer (CRC) has emerged as the third most prevalent malignant tumor across the globe. In recent decades, the medical field has implemented several levels of CRC screening tests, encompassing fecal tests, endoscopic examinations, radiological examinations and blood tests. Previous studies have shown that leukocyte immunoglobulin-like receptor B2 (LILRB2) is involved in inhibiting immune cell function, immune evasion, and promoting tumor progression in acute myeloid leukemia and non-small cell lung cancer. However, its interaction with CRC has not been reported yet. Recently, a study published in the World Journal of Gastroenterology re-vealed that LILRB2 and its ligand, angiopoietin-like protein 2, are markedly overexpressed in CRC. This overexpression is closely linked to tumor progression and is indicative of a poor prognosis. The study highlights the potential of utilizing the concentration of LILRB2 in serum as a promising biomarker for tumors. However, there is still room for discussion regarding the data processing and analysis in this research.

Abstract:Multiple myeloma (MM) remains an incurable hematological malignancy. Despite tremendous advances in the treatment, about 10% of patients still have very poor outcomes with median overall survival less than 24 months. Our study aimed to underscore the critical mechanisms pertaining to the rapid disease progression and provide novel therapeutic selection for these ultra-high-risk patients. We utilized single-cell transcriptomic sequencing to dissect the characteristic bone marrow niche of patients with survival of less than two years (EM24). Notably, an enrichment of LILRB4high pre-matured plasma-cell cluster was observed in the patients in EM24 compared to patients with durable remission. This cluster exhibited aggressive proliferation and drug-resistance phenotype. High-level LILRB4 promoted MM clonogenicity and progression. Clinically, high expression of LILRB4 was correlated with poor prognosis in both newly diagnosed MM patients and relapsed/refractory MM patients. The ATAC-seq analysis identified that high chromosomal accessibility caused the elevation of LILRB4 on MM cells. CRISPR-Cas9 deletion of LILRB4 alleviated the growth of MM cells, inhibited the immunosuppressive function of MDSCs, and further rescued T cell dysfunction in MM microenvironment. The more infiltration of myeloid-derived suppressive cells (MDSCs) was observed in EM24 patients as well. Therefore, we innovatively generated a TCR-based chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T cell, LILRB4-STAR-T. Cytotoxicity experiment demonstrated that LILRB4-STAR-T cells efficaciously eliminated tumor cells and impeded MDSCs function. In conclusion, our study elucidates that LILRB4 is an ideal biomarker and promising immunotherapy target for high-risk MM. LILRB4-STAR-T cell immunotherapy is promising against tumor cells and immunosuppressive tumor microenvironment in MM.

Abstract:Low-density lipoprotein receptor (LDLR)-related protein 6 (LRP6), a member of the LDLR superfamily of cell surface receptors, is most widely known as a crucial co-receptor in the activation of canonical Wnt/β-catenin signaling. This signaling pathway is implicated in multiple biological processes, such as lipoprotein metabolism, protease regulation, cell differentiation, and migration. LRP6 is frequently overexpressed in a variety of tumors, including liver cancer, colorectal cancer, and prostate cancer, and is generally considered an oncogene that promotes tumor proliferation, migration, and invasion. However, there are exceptions; some studies have reported that LRP6 inhibits lung metastasis of breast cancer through its ectodomain (LRP6N), and patients with low LRP6 expression tend to have a poor prognosis. Thus, the role of LRP6 in tumors remains controversial. Although limited studies have shown that LRP6 is associated with the expression and roles of a variety of immune cells in tumors, the interaction of LRP6 with the tumor microenvironment (TME) is not fully understood. Furthermore, it is crucial to acknowledge that LRP6 can engage with alternative pathways, including the mTORC1, CXCL12/CXCR4, and KRAS signaling pathways mentioned earlier, resulting in the regulation of biological functions independent of canonical Wnt/β-catenin signaling. Due to the potential of LRP6 as a molecular target for cancer therapy, various treatment modalities have been developed to directly or indirectly inhibit LRP6 function, demonstrating promising anti-cancer effects across multiple cancer types. This review will concentrate on exploring the expression, function, and potential therapeutic applications of LRP6 in different cancer types, along with its influence on the TME.

Abstract:Background: Acute myeloid leukemia (AML) is a malignant clonal disorder linked to a broad spectrum of molecular alterations. It is still an incurable cancer, the prognosis is even worse in elderly patients, where overall survival (OS) at 1 year is approximately 10-15%. Now, several CD3 bispecific immunotherapies that harness T cells against AML are at various stages of preclinical and clinical development, but most of them are hampered by the lack of specific targets to distinguish tumor cells from normal hematopoietic stem cells (HSC). Leukocyte immunoglobulin-like receptor B4 (LILRB4) is an immune checkpoint inhibitory receptor, which is highly expressed on FAB M4 and M5 AML cells with a lack of expression on normal HSC and progenitor cells. LILRB4 expression level inversely correlates with OS of patients with M4 and M5 AML. All of these indicate that LILRB4 represents a promising target for developing a T cell redirecting bispecific antibody to treat patients with AML, especially for more aggressive M4 and M5 subtype. Herein a novel bispecific antibody targeting LILRB4 and CD3, LBL-043, is developed to specifically kill LILRB4 positive tumor cells by engaging T cells. Methods: LBL-043 was constructed using our proprietary LeadsBodyTM T cell engager platform, which is a 2:1 format bispecific antibody with two VHH arms targeting LILRB4 with high affinity and one scFv arm targeting CD3 with fine-tuned low affinity. The binding affinity of LBL-043 to LILRB4 and CD3 was determined with Fortebio, while the activity was measured using several cell based assays including reporter gene and TDCC assays. The anti-tumor activity of LBL-043 was investigated in B-NDG/hu-PBMC reconstructed mice implanted with MOLM-13 (human AML-M5a) tumor model. Results: The binding affinity of LBL-043 to LILRB4 and CD3 protein was 0.724 nM and 35.7 nM, respectively. In CD3 reporter gene assays, LBL-043 could activate the NFAT reporter signaling through LILRB4 binding dependent CD3 cross-linking with an EC50 value of 2.459 nM. LBL-043 was shown a potent TDCC activity in different LILRB4 expression level MOLM-13 cells and HL-60 cells with T cell activation and cytokine release. In B-NDG/hu-PBMC reconstructed mice implanted with MOLM-13 tumor cells, LBL-043 was shown significant anti-tumor activity. Simultaneously, LBL-043 can effectively improve the survival rate and maintain relatively stable body weight in the study compared to the vehicle group. Conclusion: LBL-043, a novel bispecific antibody targeting CD3 and LILRB4 with affinity differentiation, induces T cell killing of AML cells by simultaneously binding LILRB4 expressed on tumor cells and CD3 on T cells, redirecting T cells to efficiently killing of AML cells. It is also shown a great anti-tumor efficacy in CDX mouse models. These data support LBL-043 as a novel therapeutic bispecific antibody for the treatment of LILRB4 positive AML and CMML leukemia patients. Abstract:4-1BB (CD137, TNFRSF9) is a type I transmembrane protein which binds its natural ligand, 4-1BBL. This interaction has been exploited to improve cancer immunotherapy. With ligand binding by 4-1BB, the nuclear factor-kappa B signaling pathway is activated, which results in transcription of corresponding genes such as interleukin-2 and interferon-γ, as well as the induction of T cell proliferation and antiapoptotic signals. Moreover, monoclonal antibodies that target-4-1BB, for example, Urelumab and Utomilumab, are widely used in the treatments of B cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma, lung cancer, breast cancer, soft tissue sarcoma, and other solid tumors. Furthermore, 4-1BB as a costimulatory domain, for chimeric antigen receptor T (CAR-T) cells, improves T cell proliferation and survival as well as reduces T cell exhaustion. As such, a deeper understanding of 4-1BB will contribute to improvements in cancer immunotherapy. This review provides a comprehensive analysis of current 4-1BB studies, with a focus on the use of targeting-4-1BB antibodies and 4-1BB activation domains in CAR-T cells for the treatment of cancer.

Abstract:Accumulating evidence has shown that long intergenic non-protein-coding RNA 346 (LINC00346) functions as an oncogene in the tumorigenesis of several cancers. The expression level of LINC00346 has been shown to be obviously correlated with prognosis, lymphoma metastasis, histological grade, TNM stage, tumor size and pathologic stage. LINC00346 has been found to regulate specific cellular functions by interacting with several molecules and signaling pathways. In this review, we summarize recent evidence concerning the role of LINC00346 in the occurrence and development of diseases. We also discuss the potential clinical utility of LINC00346, thereby providing new insight into the diagnosis and treatment of diseases. In addition, we further discuss the potential clinical utility of LINC00346 in the diagnosis, prognostication, and treatment of diseases.

Abstract:Leucocyte immunoglobulin-like receptors subfamily B (LILRB) belongs to the type I transmembrane glycoproteins, which is the immunosuppressive receptor. LILRBs are widely expressed in bone marrow cells, hematopoietic stem cells, nerve cells and other body cells. Studies have found that LILRBs receptor can bind to a variety of ligands and has a variety of biological functions such as regulating inflammatory response, immune tolerance and cell differentiation. Inflammatory reaction plays a vital role in resisting microorganisms. The function of inhibitory immune receptors can recognize the signs of infection and promote the function of anti-microbial effect. The inflammatory response must be strictly regulated to prevent excessive inflammation and tissue damage. Therefore, it is of general interest to understand the role of LILRBs in the inflammatory response. Because they can inhibit the anti-microbial response of neutrophils, some human pathogens use these receptors to escape immunity. This article reviews the biological role of LILRBs in the inflammatory response. We focus on the known ligands of LILRBs, their different roles after binding with ligands, and how these receptors help to form neutrophil responses during infection. Recent studies have shown that LILRBs recruit phosphatases through intracellular tyrosine-based immunoreceptor inhibitory motifs to negatively regulate immune activation, thereby transmitting inflammation-related signals, suggesting that LILRBs may be an ideal target for the treatment of inflammatory diseases. Here, we describe in detail the regulation of LILRBs on the inflammatory response, its signal transduction mode in inflammation, and the progress in the treatment of inflammatory diseases, providing a reference for further research.

Abstract:CD44 is a ubiquitous leukocyte adhesion molecule involved in cell-cell interaction, cell adhesion, migration, homing and differentiation. CD44 can mediate the interaction between leukemic stem cells and the surrounding extracellular matrix, thereby inducing a cascade of signaling pathways to regulate their various behaviors. In this review, we focus on the impact of CD44s/CD44v as biomarkers in leukemia development and discuss the current research and prospects for CD44-related interventions in clinical application.
