Abstract:Osteoarthritis and psoriasis arthritis are two degenerative forms of arthritis that share similar yet also different manifestations at the histological, cellular, and clinical levels. Rheumatologists have marked them as two entirely distinct arthropathies. Given recent discoveries in disease initiation and progression, potential mechanisms, cellular signaling pathways, and ongoing clinical therapeutics, there are now more opportunities for discovering osteoarthritis drugs. This review summarized the osteoarthritis and psoriasis arthritis signaling pathways, crosstalk between BMP, WNT, TGF-β, VEGF, TLR, and FGF signaling pathways, biomarkers, and anatomical pathologies. Through bench research, we demonstrated that regenerative medicine is a promising alternative for treating osteoarthritis by highlighting significant scientific discoveries on entheses, multiple signaling blockers, and novel molecules such as immunoglobulin new antigen receptors targeted for potential drug evaluation. Furthermore, we offered valuable therapeutic approaches with a multidisciplinary strategy to treat patients with osteoarthritis or psoriasis arthritis in the coming future in the clinic.

Abstract:A new commercially available radioimmunoassay (RIA) (Abbott‐HBeTM) was used for determination of hepatitis B e‐antigen (HBeAg) and its antibody (anti‐HBe). Serial serum samples from 20 transiently HBsAg‐positive patients with acute hepatitis were tested. In nearly all patients HBeAg could be shown for a short period with subsequent development of antiHBe. From 24 chronic HBsAg carriers serial serum samples collected during several years were tested. In 18 of 19 initially HBeAg‐positive patients the HBeAg was lost after 6 months to 6 years; in 14 anti‐HBe developed. A correlation was seen between the seroconversion and normalization of elevated alanine transferase levels. From another 22 chronic HBsAg carriers single serum samples were assayed. These samples were selected because neither HBeAg nor anti‐HBe could be detected by the immunodiffusion (ID) technique. They had previously been examined for HBV‐associated DNA‐polymerase activity. In 20 patients HBeAg or anti‐HBe could be detected by RIA. Those who were DNA‐polymerase negative had anti‐HBe, and 3 of 4 who were DNA‐polymerase positive had HBeAg.

Abstract:Psoriatic arthritis (PsA) is a chronic, immune-mediated disease characterized by synovio-entheseal inflammation. It is estimated to affect around 30% of patients with psoriasis and significantly reduces patients' physical function and quality of life. There is a growing number of treatment options for PsA, but due to the heterogeneous clinical features of the disease and prevalence of comorbidities, managing PsA can be challenging. In this article, we review current understanding of the disease and available pharmacological options. Based on published treatment guidelines, emerging evidence and clinical experience, we provide our expert opinion on treatment strategies, taking into consideration the predominant disease domain and the presence of comorbidities, which can impact treatment decisions and clinical outcomes. Biological and targeted synthetic disease-modifying agents are dramatically improving the lives of patients with PsA. Biosimilar TNF inhibitors offer a particularly versatile and cost-effective option, whilst newer biologics and targeted synthetic molecules that can be used to treat most domains of psoriatic disease are an attractive alternative to TNF inhibitors. Despite a lack of consensus on treatment sequencing and tapering, it is important that PsA patients, especially those with comorbidities, are looked after by a multidisciplinary team to optimize their care.

Abstract:Psoriasis is a common inflammatory immune disorder due to chronic activation of the adaptive and innate immune responses. Therapies for psoriasis target reducing inflammatory cytokines such as tumor necrosis factor-alpha, interleukin-17, and interleukin-22. Patients with inflammatory disorders have reduced metabolism by cytochrome P450 enzymes in the liver. The pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic changes due to psoriasis also have an impact on reaching therapeutic concentrations of the drug. Pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic data help determine the safety and clinical considerations necessary when utilizing drugs for plaque psoriasis. A literature search was performed on PubMed and Ovid MEDLINE for the pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic data of oral therapies and biologics utilized for moderate-to-severe plaque psoriasis. The findings from the literature search were organized into two sections: oral therapies and biologics. The pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic parameters in healthy patients, patients with psoriasis, and special populations are discussed in each section. The oral therapies described in this review include methotrexate, cyclosporine, apremilast, tofacitinib, and deucravacitinib. Biologics include tumor necrosis factor-alpha inhibitors, interleukin-17 inhibitors, ustekinumab, and interleukin-23 inhibitors. Clinical considerations for these therapies include drug toxicities, dosing frequency, and anti-drug antibodies. Methotrexate and cyclosporine have a risk for hepatoxicity and renal impairment, respectively. Moreover, drugs metabolized via cytochrome P450, including tofacitinib and apremilast have decreased clearance in patients with psoriasis, requiring dose adjustments. Patients treated with therapies such as adalimumab can develop anti-drug antibodies that reduce the long-term efficacy of the drug. Additionally, overweight patients benefit from more frequent dosing to achieve better psoriasis clearance.

Abstract:Importance: Approximately 125 million people worldwide have psoriasis. Patients with psoriasis experience substantial morbidity and increased rates of inflammatory arthritis, cardiometabolic diseases, and mental health disorders. Observations: Plaque psoriasis is the most common variant of psoriasis. The most rapid advancements addressing plaque psoriasis have been in its pathogenesis, genetics, comorbidities, and biologic treatments. Plaque psoriasis is associated with a number of comorbidities including psoriatic arthritis, cardiometabolic diseases, and depression. For patients with mild psoriasis, topical agents remain the mainstay of treatment, and they include topical corticosteroids, vitamin D analogues, calcineurin inhibitors, and keratolytics. The American Academy of Dermatology-National Psoriasis Foundation guidelines recommend biologics as an option for first-line treatment of moderate to severe plaque psoriasis because of their efficacy in treating it and acceptable safety profiles. Specifically, inhibitors to tumor necrosis factor α (TNF-α) include etanercept, adalimumab, certolizumab, and infliximab. Other biologics inhibit cytokines such as the p40 subunit of the cytokines IL-12 and IL-13 (ustekinumab), IL-17 (secukinumab, ixekizumab, bimekizumab, and brodalumab), and the p19 subunit of IL-23 (guselkumab, tildrakizumab, risankizumab, and mirikizumab). Biologics that inhibit TNF-α, p40IL-12/23, and IL-17 are also approved for the treatment of psoriatic arthritis. Oral treatments include traditional agents such as methotrexate, acitretin, cyclosporine, and the advanced small molecule apremilast, which is a phosphodiesterase 4 inhibitor. The most commonly prescribed light therapy used to treat plaque psoriasis is narrowband UV-B phototherapy. Conclusions and relevance: Psoriasis is an inflammatory skin disease that is associated with multiple comorbidities and substantially diminishes patients' quality of life. Topical therapies remain the cornerstone for treating mild psoriasis. Therapeutic advancements for moderate to severe plaque psoriasis include biologics that inhibit TNF-α, p40IL-12/23, IL-17, and p19IL-23, as well as an oral phosphodiesterase 4 inhibitor.

Abstract:Psoriatic arthritis (PsA) is an inflammatory arthritis characterized by inflammation of peripheral and / or axial joints, with or without other tissue manifestations, including skin psoriasis, dactylitis, enthesitis, uveitis, and inflammatory bowel disease. There has been an exponential increase in PsA treatment options over the last 2 decades, and while guidelines have attempted to keep up with the deluge of emerging data, there are several areas in which guidance remains sparse. This is, in part, due to a lack of robust strategy trials, head‑to‑head studies, and real‑world observational data. In addition, trials seldom address key questions, such as the complex need to balance the treatment of joint disease with the other competing tissue manifestations of PsA, as well as other relevant medical comorbidities and patient lifestyle and personal preferences, all of which may change several times over the course of an individual's lifetime. This article provides a concise summary of the current state of guidelines for the management of PsA, and an in‑depth discussion of some of the areas where guidelines and evidence are still lacking. These areas of unmet clinical need in the treatment of PsA should be a priority for further PsA research in the coming years. Only by working with patients and addressing these gaps in our knowledge can we strive for a future where all PsA patients are able to receive treatment that is the best for them, and tailored to their specific needs at any particular time point in their disease trajectory.

Abstract:Eucaryotic expression vectors containing two selective markers, the herpes simplex 1 thymidine kinase gene (tk) and the Escherichia coli gpt gene (Eco gpt) coding for a xanthine‐guanine phosphoribosyl‐transferase (XGPRT) were constructed. These plasmids were used to transfect mouse Ltk‐ cells followed by selection of either tk+ or XGPRT + colonies. The transcription and maturation of the Eco gpt mRNA is dependent on the presence of a eucaryotic promoter sequence at its 5′ end and on the presence of a viral intron and a poly(A) addition site at its 3′ end (Mulligan and Berg, 1980). Here, we report that both simian virus 40 (SV40) and polyoma early and late promoters permit the transcription of this gene integrated into the cellular genome. Polyoma DNA fragments lacking the TATA box, or both the TATA and CAAT boxes directing early transcription, efficiently promote Eco gpt expression. Furthermore, a fragment terminating approximately 300 nucleotides upstream of the initiation site of early RNA permits Eco gpt synthesis when the early strand is joined to the Eco gpt‐coding strand. The SV40 early promoter is 2‐ to 3‐fold more efficient than the controlling sequence of late transcription. These results strongly suggest that the switch from a predominance of early RNA to that of late RNA occurring after the onset of DNA replication is caused by the increase in the abundance of template and by the concomitant repression of early transcription by the T antigen. The presence of the tk gene in all the plasmids constructed permits the analysis of Eco gpt expression as a non‐selected marker in tk+ clones selected for growth in HAT medium.(ABSTRACT TRUNCATED AT 250 WORDS)
Psoriatic Arthritis: Pathogenesis and Targeted Therapies

Abstract:Psoriatic arthritis (PsA), a heterogeneous chronic inflammatory immune-mediated disease characterized by musculoskeletal inflammation (arthritis, enthesitis, spondylitis, and dactylitis), generally occurs in patients with psoriasis. PsA is also associated with uveitis and inflammatory bowel disease (Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis). To capture these manifestations as well as the associated comorbidities, and to recognize their underlining common pathogenesis, the name of psoriatic disease was coined. The pathogenesis of PsA is complex and multifaceted, with an interplay of genetic predisposition, triggering environmental factors, and activation of the innate and adaptive immune system, although autoinflammation has also been implicated. Research has identified several immune-inflammatory pathways defined by cytokines (IL-23/IL-17, TNF), leading to the development of efficacious therapeutic targets. However, heterogeneous responses to these drugs occur in different patients and in the different tissues involved, resulting in a challenge to the global management of the disease. Therefore, more translational research is necessary in order to identify new targets and improve current disease outcomes. Hopefully, this may become a reality through the integration of different omics technologies that allow better understanding of the relevant cellular and molecular players of the different tissues and manifestations of the disease. In this narrative review, we aim to provide an updated overview of the pathophysiology, including the latest findings from multiomics studies, and to describe current targeted therapies.

Abstract:Psoriasis is a common chronic, immune-mediated inflammatory skin disease associated with various comorbidities. Managing psoriasis is often challenging as the therapy is decided based on the area of the disease, associated comorbidities and impairment in quality of life, besides the patient's preference. Making progress in the development of new molecules that can be used topically or orally, effectively controlling the disease with minimal side effects and providing long-lasting remissions are the needs of the hour. Recent developments in understanding the complexities of the pathogenesis of psoriasis have resulted in the reinforcement of treatment modalities, leading to the evolution of various biologics and small-molecule inhibitors. In comparison with biologics, both patients and treating physicians prefer small molecules for various reasons such as avoiding injections and side effects that are associated with biologics biologics. Moreover small molecules are economical than biologics. Newer small molecules, both topical and oral, are promising additions to the therapeutic arsenal in the management of psoriasis in the future.

Abstract:A working group of dermatologists in Asian countries assessed the current status of psoriatic management in the region to prepare a consensus report on topical treatment in mild to moderate plaque psoriasis. Even though the association of psoriasis with systemic comorbidities is increasingly acknowledged, psoriasis is still lower in health-care priority lists in the region. The psychosocial impact of psoriasis may be greater in Asian countries due to cultural norms and social discrimination. Non-adherence to treatment is also common among Asians. The current care given to patients with mild to moderate psoriasis needs to be streamlined, enhanced and organized with a patient-centered care approach to achieve better outcomes. A comprehensive assessment of the disease severity and its impact on a patient's life is required before initiating treatment. Education and active involvement of the patient in the treatment plan is an important part of psoriatic management. It is recommended to personalize topical treatment to meet the needs of the patient, depending on disease severity, psychosocial impact, the patient's expectations and, more importantly, the patient's willingness and ability to actively follow the treatment procedure. Fixed-dose combination of corticosteroid and vitamin D analogs is the preferred topical medication for both initial and maintenance phases of treatment. The fast containment of the disease is the goal of the initial phase of 4-8 weeks and it demands a potent fast-acting topical therapy. Satisfactory control of the disease and prevention of relapses should be achieved during the maintenance phase with twice a week or weekend applications.

Due to difficulty for early diagnosis and lack of effective therapy, the disease leads to chronic course and frequent relapse. Patients may suffer from ankylosis,disability and even death. The past treatments neither can control the disease effectively, nor be capable of inhibiting the development of structural joint damage. Psoriasis: from Pathogenesis to Targeted Therapies

Abstract:Over the last decade, the management of psoriasis has witnessed a paradigm shift. Thanks to the increasing knowledge about the pathogenesis of psoriasis, targeted treatments with monoclonal antibodies have been developed. These antibodies, which target the pathogenic TNF/IL-23/IL-17-pathway, were shown to be safe and efficacious in the management of most patients with moderate to severe chronic plaque psoriasis. Recently, molecular and genetic studies in pustular and erythrodermic psoriasis have identified additional inflammatory pathways, providing evidence that psoriasis is a heterogeneous disease and highlighting the requirement for personalized disease characterization for treatment optimization. In this article, we will review these advances and provide an update on the currently available treatment arsenal. We discuss the efficacy and safety profile of these individual therapeutic agents and describe their use in special indications. We will also describe the current understanding of psoriasis as a systemic disease associated with multiple comorbidities and illustrate its impact in the management of psoriatic patients. Finally, we discuss ongoing therapeutic developments as well as unmet needs and future perspectives in the field of psoriasis.

Abstract:Psoriasis is a chronic inflammatory skin disease affecting 2-3% of the global population. Traditional systemic treatments, such as methotrexate, cyclosporine, acitretin and fumaric acid esters, have limited efficacy and are associated with significant adverse effects, necessitating regular monitoring and posing risks of long-term toxicity. Recent advancements have introduced biologic drugs that offer improved efficacy and safety profiles. However, their high cost and the inconvenience of parenteral administration limit their accessibility. Consequently, there is a growing interest in developing new, targeted oral therapies. Small molecules, such as phosphodiesterase 4 inhibitors (e.g. apremilast) and TYK2 inhibitor (e.g. deucravacitinib), have shown promising results with favourable safety profiles. Additionally, other novel oral agents targeting specific pathways, including IL-17, IL-23, TNF, S1PR1 and A3AR, are under investigation. These treatments aim to combine the efficacy of biologics with the convenience and accessibility of oral administration, addressing the limitations of current therapies. This narrative review synthesizes the emerging oral therapeutic agents for psoriasis, focusing on their mechanisms of action, stages of development and clinical trial results.

Abstract:Psoriasis is a chronic inflammatory skin disease affecting millions of people worldwide, characterized by rapid proliferation of keratinocytes, immune cell infiltration, and systemic inflammation. Over time, treatment strategies have evolved significantly from traditional topical therapies and phototherapy to advanced systemic options such as biologics and, more recently, oral small molecule drugs. This review aims to provide an in-depth examination of current psoriasis therapies, with a focus on biologics, oral small molecules, and new and emerging treatments. Several classes of biologic therapies have received regulatory approval for psoriasis, including inhibitors of TNF-α, IL-12/23, IL-17, and IL-23. Biologics have transformed psoriasis care, offering improved disease management and quality of life for patients, with generally favorable safety profiles. However, challenges such as high cost, potential immunogenicity and complexity of administration have sparked interest in alternative treatment options. Oral small molecules, particularly Janus kinase (JAK) inhibitors, have gained attention for their efficacy and ease of use, being orally administered drugs. These drugs mark a shift in therapeutic paradigms by providing an oral option that precisely targets specific signaling pathways. In addition to existing therapies, this review also highlights emerging treatments that could shape the future of psoriasis care, including new small-molecule inhibitors. Early clinical trials suggest that these agents could improve treatment outcomes for psoriasis patients. Current research is increasingly focused on understanding disease recurrence, particularly the influence of tissue-resident memory T cells (TRMs). Avoiding the proliferation of these cells may be crucial in attenuating recurrence. In particular, interleukin-23 (IL-23), produced by CD301b+ cells, has been linked to stimulation of TRM cell proliferation in the skin. This finding highlights that IL-23 inhibitors and treatments targeting CD301b+ cells are promising strategies for maintaining remission and preventing relapse. In summary, the landscape of psoriasis treatments is advancing rapidly, with an increasing focus on personalized, patient-specific therapies. Research is expected to continue to refine and improve therapeutic approaches for this complex disease.

Abstract:BackgroundPsoriasis is a chronic, systemic immune‐mediated disease characterised by development of erythematous, indurated, scaly, pruritic and often painful skin plaques. Psoriasis pathogenesis is driven by pro‐inflammatory cytokines and psoriasis is associated with increased risk for comorbidities, including, but not limited to, psoriatic arthritis, cardiovascular disease, diabetes mellitus, obesity, inflammatory bowel disease and non‐alcoholic fatty liver disease compared with the general population. ObjectiveTo explore the pathophysiological relationship between psoriasis and its common comorbidities and discusses the need for new treatment paradigms that include strategies to reduce systemic inflammation in patients with moderate‐to‐severe psoriasis. MethodsThis narrative review summarizes the published evidence related to the ability of biologic therapies to ameliorate the consequences of systemic inflammation in patients with psoriasis. ResultsCurrent evidence suggests that preventing damage associated with inflammation and preventing development of future inflammatory damage and comorbidities may be a potentially achievable treatment goal for many patients with moderate‐to‐severe plaque psoriasis when biologic therapies are utilised early in the disease. Encouraging data from recent studies suggest that the loftier goal of reversing existing inflammatory damage and improving signs and symptoms of inflammatory comorbidities could also possibly be attainable. ConclusionsResults from ongoing prospective studies on the effects of biologics on markers of systemic inflammation in patients with psoriasis will strengthen the clinical evidence base that can be used to inform treatment decisions for patients with moderate‐to‐severe psoriasis.

Abstract:Psoriasis is a chronic inflammatory disease affecting 1–3% of the general population. Among psoriatic patients, 5–40% are affected by psoriatic arthritis. Due to the chronic nature of the disease, patients suffer from substantial psychological and financial burdens, thus adding to a significantly impaired quality of life. Traditional systemic therapies for psoriasis, such as methotrexate, cyclosporin A, retinoids or PUVA therapy, have a potential for long‐term toxicity and may not always provide sufficient improvement of the disease. The development of novel therapies targeting key steps in the pathogenesis of psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis now provide new and efficient treatment options. Biological therapies for the treatment of psoriasis and/or psoriatic arthritis are defined by their mode of action and can be classified into three categories: the T‐cell modulating agents (alefacept and efalizumab), the inhibitors of tumour necrosis factor‐α (TNFα blockers, e.g. adalimumab, certolizumab, etanercept, golimumab and infliximab) and the inhibitors of interleukin (IL) 12 and IL‐23 (e.g. ustekinumab and briakinumab). This article provides a brief overview of the currently approved biological agents in the European Union and of some newer agents, such as briakinumab, certolizumab and golimumab.

Abstract:ischemia. The cerebral illness began quite suddenly with a psychotic episode nine days before death, followed by a series of major seizures and coma for the last two days of life. The clinical course and pathological appearance were very similar to other forms of disseminated patchy, ischaemic encephalopathy in which multitudes of small arteries or arterioles are narrowed or occluded. The uncommon condition of severe hypertensive arteriolar sclerosis produces the same clinical and pathological course but at a slower pace, and a patient with thrombotic microangiitis, whose brain was examined in this laboratory, had an almost identical pathological picture. The clinical and pathological features of the much commoner encephalopathy of systemic lupus erythematosus are identical except for the different nature of the arterial and arteriolar lesions.24 In our patient the narrowing of the minute vessels was caused by scleroderma; the venous haemorrhages were considered agonal and of no significance. It is to be noted that most of the infarcts were recent and were too small and too few to account for the severity of the cerebral illness. This is the common finding in the more acute forms of disseminated ischaemic encephalopathy. It is probable that the blood supply to large regions of the brain had been reduced by the vascular occlusions to a point where the brain could still survive but no longer function. It is only where the disease was particularly intense that the blood supply was reduced to a point where infarction occurred. This patient had only mild urremia, and the hypertension never reached levels commonly associated with hypertensive encephalopathy. Byrom25 produced very convincing evidence that the disseminated ischoemic encephalopathy of this disease was a product of intense arteriolar spasm in reaction to extreme elevation of blood pressure. It is not unlikely that intense arterial and arteriolar spasm may develop in response to a much lower level of hypertension if the vessels are already damaged by scleroderma or systemic lupus erythematosus.
Systematic Review and Recommendations to Combine Newer Therapies With Conventional Therapy in Psoriatic Disease

Abstract:Background: Psoriasis continues to have unmet needs in its management despite introduction of newer molecules. Monotherapy with these newer agents may not achieve therapeutic goals in all cases, hence necessitating their combinations with other molecules. Improved understanding of newer as well as conventional treatment modalities and experiences in their combinations hence necessitates therapeutic guidelines for their use in psoriasis. Objective: To review the combinations of treatments reported in literature and recommendations for their use based on best current evidence in literature. Methods: A literature review of MEDLINE database for studies evaluating combinations of newer therapies with conventional therapies in psoriasis was done. Newer therapies were identified as biologic disease modifying anti rheumatic drugs and other molecules such as apremilast while conventional therapies included methotrexate, cyclosporine, or retinoids, phototherapy and others. The therapeutic guidelines are proposed with the aim to provide evidenced based approach to combine newer and conventional agents in day-to-day psoriasis management. Findings: Combination of acitretin and narrow band ultraviolet B (NB-UVB)/Psoralen with ultraviolet A (PUVA) achieves faster clearance and allows reduction of dose of the latter. A variable outcome is reported of methotrexate with TNF-α inhibitors vs. TNF-α inhibitors alone, although addition of methotrexate appears to reduce immunogenicity of TNF-α inhibitors thereby preventing formation of anti-drug antibodies especially in case of infliximab. While combination of acitretin and PUVA is beneficial, combining TNF-α inhibitors and phototherapy too produces better and faster results but long term risks of Non Melanoma Skin Cancers (NMSCs) may preclude their use together. Combination of cyclosporine and phototherapy is not recommended due to greater chances of NMSCs. Adding phototherapy to Fumaric Acid Esters (FAEs) improves efficacy. Apremilast can be safely combined with available biologic agents in patients with plaque psoriasis or psoriatic arthritis not responding adequately to biologics alone. Hydroxyurea and acitretin may be used together increasing their efficacy and reducing doses of both and hence their adverse effects. Conclusion: Selected clinical scenarios shall benefit from combinations therapies, improving efficacy of both conventional and newer agents and at the same time helping reduce toxicity of higher dosages when used individually.

Abstract:Objective: New modes of action and more data on the efficacy and safety of existing drugs in psoriatic arthritis (PsA) required an update of the EULAR 2019 recommendations for the pharmacological treatment of PsA. Methods: Following EULAR standardised operating procedures, the process included a systematic literature review and a consensus meeting of 36 international experts in April 2023. Levels of evidence and grades of recommendations were determined. Results: The updated recommendations comprise 7 overarching principles and 11 recommendations, and provide a treatment strategy for pharmacological therapies. Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs should be used in monotherapy only for mild PsA and in the short term; oral glucocorticoids are not recommended. In patients with peripheral arthritis, rapid initiation of conventional synthetic disease-modifying antirheumatic drugs is recommended and methotrexate preferred. If the treatment target is not achieved with this strategy, a biological disease-modifying antirheumatic drug (bDMARD) should be initiated, without preference among modes of action. Relevant skin psoriasis should orient towards bDMARDs targeting interleukin (IL)-23p40, IL-23p19, IL-17A and IL-17A/F inhibitors. In case of predominant axial or entheseal disease, an algorithm is also proposed. Use of Janus kinase inhibitors is proposed primarily after bDMARD failure, taking relevant risk factors into account, or in case bDMARDs are not an appropriate choice. Inflammatory bowel disease and uveitis, if present, should influence drug choices, with monoclonal tumour necrosis factor inhibitors proposed. Drug switches and tapering in sustained remission are also addressed. Conclusion: These updated recommendations integrate all currently available drugs in a practical and progressive approach, which will be helpful in the pharmacological management of PsA.
