Abstract:Raman spectra are usually used to detect substances.However,the intensity of signals is weak,thus the application of the normal Raman spectra in micro detection is limited.Herein Raman spectra of cysteamine by different methods such as the powdered,silver colloid adsorption,nanoscale silver film of cysteamine and nanosilver particles adsorption on slides was attained.Then the silver colloid and silver film were studied by UV-Visible spectrophotometer,scanning electronic microscopy (SEM) and transmission electronic microscopy(TEM).The Raman spectrum of cysteamine was calculated by the Gaussian'03 software.The calculation results are compared with the experimental results.The method was optimized by changing the self-assembly time.

Abstract:L-cysteine, an indispensable amino acid present in natural proteins, plays pivotal roles in various biological processes. Consequently, precise and selective monitoring of its concentrations is imperative. Herein, we propose a Surface-enhanced Raman Scattering (SERS) sensor for detecting L-cysteine based on the anti-aggregation of 4-mercaptobenzoic acid (4-MBA) and histidine (His) functionalized silver nanoparticles (Ag NPs). The presence of Hg 2+ ions can induce the aggregation of Ag NPs@His@4-MBA due to the unique nanostructures of Ag NPs@His@4-MBA, resulting in a robust SERS intensity of 4-MBA. However, in the presence of L-cysteine, the stronger affinity between L-cysteine and Hg 2+ reduces the concentration of free Hg 2+ , causing the dispersion of the aggregated functionalized Ag NPs and the reduction of the SERS signal intensity of 4-MBA. The developed SERS platform demonstrates excellent performance with a low detection limit of 5 nM (S/N = 3) and linear detection capabilities within the range of 0.01–100 μM for L-cysteine. Additionally, the method was successfully employed for the determination of L-cysteine in spiked serum samples, yielding recoveries ranging from 95.0 % to 108.1 % with relative standard deviations of less than 3.3 %. This study not only presents a novel approach for fabricating highly sensitive and specific SERS biosensors for biomolecule detection but also offers a significant strategy for the development and construction of SERS substrates using anti-aggregation design.

Abstract:A sepiolite/chitosan/silver nanoparticles (Sep/CTs/AgNPs) membrane substrate has been developed for the fast separation, enrichment, and surface-enhanced Raman scattering (SERS) determination of sulfamethoxazole all-in-one. The Sep/CTs/AgNPs membrane substrate possessed the ability of rapid separation and enrichment to simplify the process for pretreatment and improve the efficiency of analysis. The grown AgNPs can provide abundant hot spots and plasmonic areas to amplify the Raman signals of target molecules effectively. The membrane substrate exhibited good stability with relative standard deviations of 5.8% and 7.1% to same batch and different batches membrane substrate, respectively, by detecting sulfamethoxazole. The SERS method based on Sep/CTs/AgNPs membrane substrate was used for the determination of sulfamethoxazole with a linear range of 0.05–2.0 mg/L, and the limit of detection was 0.020 mg/L. The established SERS method was finally applied to the quantification of sulfamethoxazole in animal-derived food samples. Sulfamethoxazole was actually found in crucian sample with 12.4 μg/kg, and the result was confirmed by a high-performance liquid chromatography method with relative error of 5.3%. The whole process of analysis can be finished within 25 min with recoveries of 89.3–102.2%. The SERS method based on Sep/CTs/AgNPs membrane substrate provided an integrated strategy for rapid and accurate SERS analysis in food safety issues.

Abstract:AbstractA gold nanoparticle–modified copper-based metal organic framework (Au NPs@Cu-BDC) was fabricated for the electrochemical determination of cysteine (Cys-SH). The nanocomposites were characterized using different techniques such as scanning electron microscopy (SEM), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDX), powder X-ray spectroscopy (PXRD), thermogravimetry (TGA), nitrogen adsorption–desorption isotherms, and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR). Formation of a new anodic peak of Cu(II)-Cys complex at + 0.43 V was used to detect Cys-SH. Cyclic and square wave voltammetric studies proved that the Au NPs enhanced the conductivity of Cu-BDC. The proposed electrode exhibited a linear range of 0.0015–10.5 μM and low detection limit of 0.0004 μM with a good sensitivity of 0.78 ± 0.01 μA μM. The as-fabricated electrode was successfully used for the estimation of Cys-SH in real samples (human plasma, urine, and saliva) with recovery % of 99–100% and RSD % of 2.7–3.6%, respectively.Graphical abstract

Abstract:Using sliver nanoparticles modified with β -cyclodextrin and α -iron oxide ( β -CD/ α -Fe 2 O 3 @AgNPs) as surface-enhanced Raman spectroscopy (SERS) substrate, two sensitive methods for detecting apramycin and kanamycin were established. The synthesized β -CD/ α -Fe 2 O 3 @AgNPs were characterized through ultraviolet visible (UV-vis) spectroscopy, transmission electron microscope (TEM), X-ray diffraction (XRD) and thermogravimetric analyses (TGA). The interactions of the two drugs and substrate were researched by UV-vis absorption and fourier transform infrared (FT-IR). The linear relationship between apramycin/kanamycin and SERS intensity was observed. The limits of detection (LODs) (S/N = 3) were 3.42 and 0.31 nmol L −1 . The two SERS methods were effectively applied to detect apramycin and kanamycin in beef samples and commercial injection. The recoveries were 96.84 – 102.20% with relative standard deviations (RSD) of 0.6 − 4.0% for apramycin and 95.67 – 103.18% with RSD of 1.4 – 2.5% for kanamycin, respectively.

Abstract:In this study, we describe the construction of an "off-on" fluorescent probe based on carbon dots (CDs) and silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) mixture for sensitive and selective detection of cysteamine. By mixing AgNPs with CDs solution, the fluorescence of CDs was significantly decreased due to the inner filter effect (IFE). Upon addition of cysteamine to the mixed aqueous of CDs and AgNPs, the silver-sulfur bond between cysteamine and AgNPs caused AgNPs to aggregate, and the quenched fluorescence of CDs could in turn be recovered. The probe was employed to quantitatively detect cysteamine, and the results showed that it could detect cysteamine in a concentration range of 2 to 16 μM with the detection limit of 0.35 μM (signal-to-noise ratio of 3). The detection of cysteamine spiked into bovine serum samples showed high recovery rates ranging from 95.5 to 111.7%. More importantly, the developed probe had low cytotoxicity and was successfully used for in vivo imaging of HepG2 cells.

Abstract:A simple and distinctive method for the ultrasensitive detection of Cu2+ and Hg2+ based on surface-enhanced Raman scattering (SERS) using cysteine-functionalized silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) attached with Raman-labeling molecules was developed. The glycine residue in a silver nanoparticle-bound cysteine can selectively bind with Cu2+ and Hg2+ and form a stable inner complex. Silver nanoparticles co-functionalized with cysteine and 3,5-Dimethoxy-4-(6′-azobenzotriazolyl)phenol (AgNP conjugates) can be used to detect Cu2+ and Hg2+ based on aggregation-induced SERS of the Raman tags. The addition of SCN− to the analyte can successfully mask Hg2+ and allow for the selective detection of Cu2+. This SERS-based assay showed an unprecedented limit of detection (LOD) of 10pM for Cu2+ and 1pM for Hg2+; these LODs are a few orders of magnitude more sensitive than the typical colorimetric approach based on the aggregation of noble nanoparticles. The analysis of real water samples diluted with pure water was performed and verified this conclusion. We envisage that this SERS-based assay may provide a general and simple approach for the detection of other metal ions of interest, which can be adopted from their corresponding colorimetric assays that have already been developed with significantly improved sensitivity and thus have wide-range applications in many areas.
Solid phase microextraction and selective determination of cysteine in whole blood by cyclic voltammetry with silver nanoparticles modified clustered carbon fiber electrodes

Abstract:In the present paper, the solid phase microextraction of cysteine from aqueous solutions using a carbon fiber clustered electrode surface modified with silver nanoparticles was studied by cyclic voltammetry. The extraction dynamics and thermodynamics follow an exponential decay function and a Weibull function, respectively. Extracting cysteine onto the surface of the silver particles results in an improvement of the irreversible redox behavior of the silver particles with the cathodic peak shifted positively and the anodic peak shifted negatively, and this procedure can be used for the detection of cysteine in aqueous solution. Under the optimal experimental conditions including scan rate, solution pH and extraction time, the relationship between anodic peak current and the logarithm of cysteine concentration was linear in the concentration range of 1.0 x 10(13) to 1.0 x 10(-2) M with two regression equations of i(pa) (mu A) = 71.61 + 0.5221 log (c, M), (R = 0.9698, SD = 0.315) in the range of 1.0 x 10(-13) to 1.0 x 10(-8) M(LDM = 1.0 x 10(-13) M) and i(pa) = 72.84 + 9.612 log (c, M) (R = 0.9918, SD = 2.59) in the range of 1.0 x 10(-8) to 1.0 x 10(-2) M(LDM = 1.0 x 10(-8) M), respectively. The maximum tolerance was up to 100 : 1 molar ratios of cysteine to albumin protein, glycine and cystine, below which the interferents show little influence on the anodic peak current. The method was applied to the detection of cysteine in a mouse whole blood sample. The content of cysteine in the sample was measured as 36.5 (+/- 1.6) mu M, which is in accordance with the values reported in the literature.

Abstract:A copper/polydimethylsiloxane (Cu/PDMS) microfluidic chip was designed to synthesize SERS substrates through a displacement reaction between silver and copper in microfluidic channels to form a microfluidic SERS nanoparticles (AgNPs)/Cu chip. This SERS substrate fabrication method doesn't require complex manufacturing processes or expensive equipment, and it can be achieved at room temperature in just 4 min. Meanwhile, the AgNPs grown on copper foil could offer ample hot spots, effectively boosting Raman signals of target molecules, and the enhancement factor (EF) was 5.12 × 10 7 for methylene blue, 4.08 × 10 7 for crystal violet, and 4.81 × 10 5 for sulfadiazine. The chip could be reused at least 9 times with consistent signal performance. Combined with the concentration gradient microchannel network design, we could establish the standard curve for samples through one injection on a single chip. A rapid SERS method for detecting sulfadiazine in aquatic products was developed. The linear range for sulfadiazine analysis was 75.0–1000 μg L −1 with a limit of detection of 28.4 μg L −1 . Sulfadiazine was found in aquatic products (43.8 μg kg −1 ), with recovery rates ranging from 82.7% to 110%. The result was validated using high-performance liquid chromatography, showing a relative error of 9.3%. The entire detection procedure could be completed in just 20 min to detect sulfadiazine. These results demonstrate that the developed SERS method is fast, accurate, and reliable for analysis of sulfadiazine in aquatic products.

Abstract:β-Cyclodextrin-functionalized magnetic covalent organic framework (Fe3O4@COF@Au-β-CD) was developed as sorbent for magnetic solid phase extraction of trace sulfonamides in meat samples prior to HPLC-MS/MS analysis. The sorbent was synthesized by loading gold nanoparticles onto a Fe3O4@COF surface and then functionalized by thiolated-β-cyclodextrin immobilization via Au-S bonding formation. The prepared composite material was employed for sulfonamides extraction. The main parameters were optimized to obtain the best extraction efficiency. The experiments of adsorption kinetics were carried out to investigate the adsorption mechanism. Results showed the pseudo-second-order kinetic was better fitted with the adsorption kinetics of sulfonamides. Under optimized conditions, the magnetic solid phase extraction-HPLC method showed good linearity (R2 ≥ 0.9936), and the limits of detection were in the range of 0.8–1.6 μg kg−1. The proposed method was successfully used for quantitation of sulfonamides in real samples. The recoveries ranged from 78.9 to 112.0% with relative standard deviations (RSDs) < 10% (n = 5). The proposed method exhibited great potential for enrichment and determination of sulfonamides in many other food or environment samples.

Abstract:The authors describe a new composite based on SERS-active copper nanoparticles (CuNPs; 10 ± 2 nm) incorporated into calcium carbonate microspheres (CaCO3-CuNPs; 3.4 ± 0.3 μm). The CaCO3 coating acts as a temporal protector of CuNPs against oxidation. Incorporated CuNPs have significantly improved stability during storage and a month-long shelf lifetime. The composite was used for SERS detection of rhodamine 6G and two antibacterial drugs (ceftriaxone and sulfadimethoxine). Two analytical formats, one with and one without solid phase extraction, are introduced to demonstrate the flexibility of the method. Both formats imply the dissolution of CaCO3 matrix before SERS analysis to release CuNP used as SERS substrate. The study of the influence of pH value and acid nature on the SERS signal demonstrated that HCl is the most efficient candidate to release the CuNPs. Sensitivity (expressed as LOD) is shown to be improved by more than one order when solid phase extraction is used. The average SERS enhancement factor is 10^7 which makes the material efficiency comparable to the one of silver nanoparticles. The LOD (<5 μM), precision (RSDs between 20 and 24% at LOD levels), and trueness (apparent recoveries 84-113%) for the two antibiotics (ceftriaxone and sulfadimethoxine) make the method quite useful for quantitative analysis and therapeutic drug monitoring at physiologically relevant concentrations. Graphical abstract A composite with temporally stable copper nanoparticles was synthesized, studied, and used for SERS detection of two antibacterial drugs. The analytical efficiency of the composite was found appropriate for quantitative analysis due to Raman enhancement comparable with silver nanostructures.
Cysteamine modified core-shell nanoparticles for rapid assessment of oxamyl and thiacloprid pesticides in milk using SERS

Abstract:Surface-enhanced Raman spectroscopy (SERS) with cysteamine modified silver-coated gold nanoparticles (Au@Ag-CysNPs) was presented for fast screening of oxamyl and thiacloprid in liquid samples of milk. Concentrations at different levels were detected ranging from 0.5 to 10 ppm by choosing 500–1600 cm−1 spectral range. A strongest Raman peak at 679 cm−1 was ascribed to oxamyl, whereas a band at 1095 cm−1 was associated with thiacloprid in milk samples. The morphology and average size of core-shell nanoparticles (Au@AgNPs) and Au@Ag-CysNPs were acquired by High-resolution transition electron microscopy images and dynamic light scattering. Images showed that Au@AgNPs which had a core size of 28 nm and a shell of 6 nm thickness was modified with 6 nm cysteamine hydrochloride successfully. High coefficient of determination (R2) values of 0.9968 and 0.9875 was calculated for oxamyl and thiacloprid with the limits of detection of 0.031 ppm and 0.023 ppm, respectively. The current novel nanoparticle was easy to prepare and was suitable to serve as a sensitive substrate for SERS detection applications, which could be employed for assessing other accidental contaminants in other food matrices in future studies.

Abstract:A cysteamine functionalized core shelled nanoparticles (Au@Ag-CysNPs) was presented for simultaneous and rapid detection of sodium thiocyanate (STC) and benzoic acid (BA) preservatives in liquid milk using surface-enhanced Raman spectroscopy (SERS) technique. A spectrum covering 350-2350 cm-1 region was selected to detect STC with concentrations ranging from 0.5 to 10 mg/L and BA with concentrations ranging from 15 to 240 mg/L in milk samples. Characterization of nanoparticles using high-resolution TEM confirmed that the successful synthesis of Au@AgNPs with core (gold) size of 28 nm and shell (silver) thickness of about 5 nm was grafted with 120 μL of 0.1 nM cysteamine hydrochloride. Results showed that Au@Ag-CysNPs could be used to detect STC up to 0.03 mg/L with a limit of quantification (LOQ) of 0.039 mg/L and a coefficient of determination (R2) of 0.9833 in the milk sample. For detecting BA, it could be screened up to 9.8 mg/L with LOQ of 10.2 mg/L and R2 of 0.9903. The proposed substrate was also highly sensitive and the employed method involved only minor sample pretreatment steps. It is thus hoped that the new substrate could be used in the screening of prohibited chemicals in complex food matrices in future studies.
Silver Nanoparticle-Embedded Hydrogels for Electrochemical Sensing of Sulfamethoxazole Residues in Meat

Abstract:A disposable electrochemical sensor based on silver nanoparticle-embedded cellulose hydrogel composites was developed for sensitive detection of sulfamethoxazole residues in meat samples. Scanning electron microscopy confirmed the porous structure of the cellulose matrix anchored with 20–50 nm silver nanoparticles (AgNPs). Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy and X-ray diffraction verified that the metallic AgNPs coordinated with the amorphous cellulose chains. At an optimum 0.5% loading, the nanocomposite sensor showed a peak-to-peak separation of 150 mV, diffusion-controlled charge transfer kinetics, and an electron transfer coefficient of 0.6 using a ferro/ferricyanide redox probe. Square-wave voltammetry was applied for sensing sulfamethoxazole based on its two-electron oxidation peak at 0.72 V vs. Ag/AgCl in Britton–Robinson buffer of pH 7.0. A linear detection range of 0.1–100 μM sulfamethoxazole was obtained with a sensitivity of 0.752 μA/μM and limit of detection of 0.04 μM. Successful recovery between 86 and 92% and less than 6% RSD was achieved from spiked meat samples. The key benefits of the proposed disposable sensor include facile fabrication, an antifouling surface, and a reliable quantification ability, meeting regulatory limits. This research demonstrates the potential of novel cellulose–silver nanocomposite materials towards developing rapid, low-cost electroanalytical devices for decentralized on-site screening of veterinary drug residues to ensure food safety.

Copper nanoparticles for SERS-based determination of some cephalosporin antibiotics in spiked human urine

Abstract:Copper nanoparticles (CuNPs) were prepared through a wet chemistry method to be used as substituents for noble-metal-based materials in the determination of cephalosporin antibiotics in urine using surface-enhanced Raman spectroscopy (SERS). The synthesis of the CuNPs was optimized to maximize the analytical signal, and microwave heating was used to increase the reaction rate and improve the homogeneity of the CuNPs. Ceftriaxone (CTR), cefazolin (CZL), and cefoperazone (CPR) were used as the analytes of interest. The determination tests were performed on artificially spiked samples of real human urine with concentrations corresponding to therapeutic drug monitoring (TDM) (50-500 μg mL-1). Urine samples collected in the morning and during the day were used to account for deviations in the urine composition, and the universality of the proposed protocol was ensured by performing sample dilution as a pretreatment. The use of calibration plots in the form of Freundlich adsorption isotherms yielded linear calibration plots. All limits of detection were lower than the minimal concentrations required for TDM, equaling 7.5 (CTR), 8.8 (CZL), and 36 (CPR) μg mL-1. Comparison of CuNPs with Ag and Au nanoparticles (AgNPs and AuNPs, respectively) confirmed that CuNPs offered a competitively high Raman enhancement efficiency (for excitation at 638 nm). Further, although the CuNPs demonstrated poorer temporal stability as compared with the AgNPs and AuNPs, the use of freshly prepared CuNPs resulted in satisfactory accuracy (recovery = 93-107%). Given the short analysis time (<20 min, including the time for the synthesis of the CuNPs and the SERS measurements using a portable Raman spectrometer), low sensitivity to the presence of the primary intrinsic urine components and satisfactory figures of merit of the proposed protocol for the determination of cephalosporin antibiotics in urine, it should be suitable for use in TDM.

Abstract:A nanozyme based on CoFe2O4 modified with MoS2 was constructed for colorimetric determination of cysteine (Cys) and glutathione (GSH). Firstly, ferrite CoFe2O4 is synthesized, and it is then modified by MoS2 to form a flower-like polymer (MoS2@CoFe2O4). In the presence of H2O2, a redox interaction takes place, and the resulting hydroxyl promoted a colorimetric conversion from colorless to blue in the presence of 3,3′,5,5′-tetramethylbenzidine (TMB). However, once Cys or GSH is added, they are capable to compete with the interaction of the hydroxyl with TMB, resulting in an inhibition of the colorimetric conversion. The colorimetric distinction is sensitive to the amount of target. The results obtained proved that the catalytic efficiency of MoS2@CoFe2O4 is 4.4-fold and 1.8-fold to that of MoS2 and CoFe2O4. Meanwhile, the Km values to TMB and H2O2 are 0.067 and 0.048 mM, respectively, which are 6.5-fold and 77-fold, respectively smaller than those of natural peroxidase such as HPR. This indicates that the MoS2@CoFe2O4 possesses a favorable interaction affinity. Additionally, the colorimetric distinction caused by the competition between TMB and cysteine or glutathione is obvious. The signal responses to cysteine and glutathione are linear in the range 0.5~15 μM and 0.5~35 μM, and the LODs are 0.10 and 0.21 μM, respectively. In practical assay of Cys in serum, the RSD of the sample tests is 4.6%, and the recoveries for the spiked assays are 95.3% and 96.0% with the RSD of 2.1% and 4.2%, respectively.

Abstract:By exploiting the electrostatic interaction between positively charged 3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene cation radicals and negatively charged sulfonated graphene (SG) sheets, we prepared a poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene)-sulfonated graphene (SG-PEDOT) composite film by a one-step electrochemical process. The composite was further decorated with gold nanoparticles (AuNPs) and employed as an electrode material for the detection of L-cysteine (Cys). The SG-PEDOT composite film is shown to provide a rough surface for the electrodeposition of AuNPs and to improve substrate accessibility and interaction with Cys. Moreover, the AuNPs-decorated composite exhibits better electrocatalytic performance than that of a SG-PEDOT composite only. Under optimum experimental conditions, the amperometric current of the sensor is linearly related to the concentration of Cys in the 0.1 to 382 mu M range, and the detection limit is 0.02 mu M (at S/N=3). The modified electrode displays favorable selectivity, good stability and high reproducibility. The method was successfully applied to the detection of Cys in spiked human urine.

Abstract:The development of a highly sensitive and easy-to-prepare sensor for the detection of cysteine (Cys) is of great importance. Gold nanoparticles (AuNPs) have been frequently utilized as a Cys sensor owing to high affinity of the thiol group to gold. However, the presence of additional materials, such as stabilizers, can impact the sensitivity of this sensor. Herein, pH-sensitive gold nanoparticles (Au-PDA) were synthesized using poly (N,N-dimethylaminoethyl methacrylate) (PDMAEMA) for the purpose of Cys detection based on the aggregation size-dependent optical property of gold nanoparticles. Detection of cysteine was also followed by UV–Vis analysis, showing a decrease in intensity of localized surface plasmon resonance (LSPR) peak, a red shift from 525 to 550 nm as well as the appearance of a new peek at 650 nm. To enhance sensor performance, systematic investigations were conducted to optimize sensing conditions, focusing on pH, gold concentration, and ionic strength of the medium. Remarkably, the proposed sensor exhibited excellent selectivity towards Cys compared to other amino acids. The sensitivity of the sensor was evaluated using two methods: changes in the absorption intensity and the LSPR shift. The pH-sensitivity of PDMAEME led to a significant improvement in sensing parameters through a synergistic effect on the Au-Cys interaction, leading to a remarkably low LOD of 0.0004 nM, which is the lowest ever reported LOD for detection of Cys. Finally, practical application of the proposed sensor was validated in human blood serum.

Abstract:Using PEG-10000 and sodium citrate as stabilizer, and NaBH4 as reducer, a stable nanosilver (AgNPs) sol was prepared. In pH 6.6 phosphate buffer solution containing NaCl, the AgNPs were aggregated to large particles, which lead to resonance Rayleigh scattering (RRS) peak at 350 nm enhancement. Upon addition of cysteine, the peak decreased. The decreased value ΔI is linear to cysteine concentration in the range of 5.0×10-8-6.0×10-7 mol/L. Thus, a new RRS method was proposed for detection of cysteine.

Abstract:Irreproducibility is considered as a significant obstacle to the widespread use of surface enhanced Raman spectroscopy (SERS) as a sensing platform. However, in terms of the SERS performance in applications, less attention has been paid on the stability, i.e., repeatability and reproducibility compared to sensitivity. Here, based on HAuCl4/K4Fe(CN)6 reaction and silver nanosol (Ag NS), a reaction mediated SERS (R-SERS) platform was proposed for the detection of malachite green residue (MG) in aquatic products, aiming to improve both the sensitivity and stability of SERS. Wherein, the HAuCl4/K4Fe(CN)6 reaction produced Au0 grows on Ag NPs and provided additional “hot spots” to enhance signal intensity. Meanwhile, the reaction system released cyano group (-C≡N) will cap on the surface of Ag or Au NPs and act as an internal signal at ∼2100 cm−1 to adjust the background signal. As a proof of principle, adenine (Ade, 730 cm−1), ceftriaxone (Cef, 1345 cm−1) and MG (1170 cm−1) were selected as targets to discuss the detection performance, with linear ranges of 0.1 ∼ 20 μM, 0.1 ∼ 10 μM and 0.1 ∼ 2 μM and limit of detection (LOD, 3σ/M) of 0.079 μM, 0.050 μM and 0.032 μM, respectively. In practical applications, MG residue in aquatic products were detected with the recoveries ranged from 85 % to 98 % and the coefficient of variations of intra-assay below 6.6 %. The R-SERS platform, therefore, was demonstrated to enhance SERS intensity and stability with in situ growth of label on Ag NPs, suggesting its potential applications in SERS sensing.
