Abstract:This paper covers publication trends, co-author networks, and research keyword co-occurrences on academic research related to domestic violence between 2000 and 2023. Throughout these years, first, the number of published articles dealing with this topic was very limited, from just four articles in the year 2000 to 37 in 2013. Still, after an imposing surge in publications registered after 2013, particularly between 2020 and 2023, the numbers increased from 217 to 653, establishing a significantly increased impact on the reviewed issue at a global level. This network identifies some central figures in the research community, such as Gene Feder, Louise M. Howard, and Nicky Stanley among others. It underlines the existence of collaboration clusters around issues such as gender, domestic violence, mental health, and social work, hence emphasizing the very essence of interdisciplinary research. Through keyword co-occurrence analysis, the word cloud shows some central themes to include intimate partner violence and the effect of COVID-19 on different population focuses, including strong qualitative research methods. The second word cloud, that of author affiliation, demonstrates the concentration of research output by leading institutions, with a high volume emanating from the UK, but also global collaboration - significant contributions from universities in Australia being one of them. Domestic violence is a complicated issue that affects individuals and communities of all ages, genders, sexual orientations, educational backgrounds, and more. These terminological complications in defining domestic violence can result in confusion during the practice of identification, assessment, and intervention. This study follows a holistic approach to bibliometrics in reviewing scholarly literature on domestic violence by drawing on data from Lens.org along with the visualization tools of VOSviewer. Improvement in understanding the domestic violence research landscape, major contributors, collaboration patterns, and the gap in research is what this study attempts to address. A total of 92,443 documents in their study were filtered to 2,362 scholarly works that included research articles published from 1999 up to 2023. The findings indicate the important factors of institutions and countries, the necessity of interdisciplinary-wise collaboration, and emerging hotspots of research. A bibliometric approach emphasizes that for effective intervention and prevention, there is a need for systematic reviews and synthesis of the available literature to provide informed evidence-based policy and practice in the context of domestic violence.

Abstract:Intimate partner violence (IPV) is a worldwide public health problem. Here, a bibliometric analysis is performed to evaluate the publications in the Intimate Partner Violence (IPV) field from 2000 to 2019 based on the Science Citation Index (SCI) Expanded and the Social Sciences Citation Index (SSCI) databases. This work presents a detailed overview of IPV from aspects of types of articles, citations, h-indices, languages, years, journals, institutions, countries, and author keywords. The results show that the USA takes the leading position in this research field, followed by Canada and the U.K. The University of North Carolina has the most publications and Harvard University has the first place in terms of h-index. The London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine leads the list of average citations per paper. The Journal of Interpersonal Violence, Journal of Family Violence and Violence Against Women are the top three most productive journals in this field, and Psychology is the most frequently used subject category. Keywords analysis indicates that, in recent years, most research focuses on the research fields of “child abuse”, “pregnancy”, “HIV”, “dating violence”, “gender-based violence” and “adolescents”.
Knowledge mapping analysis of mental health research on COVID-19

Abstract:Objective: A bibliometric analysis of COVID-19 is conducted to examine the developmental context, research hotspots, and frontiers of mental health. Methods: Using the Web of Science Core Collection (WOSCC), we have retrieved articles on mental health research related to COVID-19 which were published between 2019 and 2021. The coauthorship of countries, institutes, and authors was analyzed using VOSviewer 1.6.17, and the co-citation map of authors/references was analyzed as well. CiteSpace version 5.8.R3 was used to analyze keyword clusters and forecast research frontiers. Results: There were 8,856 articles retrieved, including 10,559 research institutes and 1,407 academic journals. The most published country and institutes were the United States (2190) and the University of London (373). Wang, Chengyu owned the highest co-citations (1810). Frontier topics can be identified by trending keywords, including "anxiety," "depression," "psychological distress," "quarantine," "post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD)," "insomnia," and "Healthcare workers." Conclusion: The most common psychological problems of people during the epidemic are anxiety and depression. Insomnia and PTSD need to be solved under the normalization of the epidemic. GAD-7 and PHQ-9 scales are the most convenient and effective for screening anxiety and depression. Healthcare workers, older adults, and college students should be concerned, and social and family support is essential.
Identifying Research Hotspots and Future Development Trends in Current Psychology: A Bibliometric Analysis of the Past Decade's Publications

Abstract:By conducting a bibliometric analysis on 4,869 publications in Current Psychology from 2013 to 2022, this paper examined the annual publications and annual citations, as well as the leading institutions, countries, and keywords. CiteSpace, VOSviewer and SCImago Graphica were utilized for visualization analysis. On one hand, this paper analyzed the academic influence of Current Psychology over the past decade. On the other hand, it explored the research hotspots and future development trends within the field of international psychology. The results revealed that the three main research areas covered in the publications of Current Psychology were: the psychological well-being of young people, the negative emotions of adults, and self-awareness and management. The latest research hotspots highlighted in the journal include negative emotions, personality, and mental health. The three main development trends of Current Psychology are: 1) exploring the personality psychology of both adolescents and adults, 2) promoting the interdisciplinary research to study social psychological issues through the use of diversified research methods, and 3) emphasizing the emotional psychology of individuals and their interaction with social reality, from a people-oriented perspective.

Abstract:Objective We aim to uncover the hot topics and development trends in clinical psychology research in the United States. Method Utilizing bibliometric analysis, we examined clinical psychology papers published in the United States from 2010 to 2022 in the Web of Science database, employing citation analysis, content analysis, author analysis, and journal analysis. Results Our analysis revealed a significant increase in clinical psychology research, notably catalyzed by the 2019 COVID‐19 pandemic. This surge was particularly evident in studies addressing mental disorders such as PTSD, anxiety, and suicidal behaviors, as well as psychological trauma related to issues like family conflict, elder abuse, and collective trauma. Furthermore, there was a distinct shift towards studying diverse populations, including gender and racial minorities, mothers, and adolescents. Therapeutic approaches, such as mindfulness‐based practices and AI‐assisted technologies, also gained prominence. Conclusions This study represents the first large‐scale bibliometric analysis in the field of clinical psychology in the United States. Our findings suggest that the COVID‐19 pandemic highlights the importance of studying psychological issues linked to major events. Also, researchers are increasingly focusing on minority groups. This trend, along with the use of new technologies like big data and artificial intelligence, guides future research in clinical psychology. Public Health Significance Statement The works in this review suggest that the changing landscape of clinical psychology, especially post‐COVID‐19. The increased research post‐pandemic emphasizes addressing psychological trauma arising from societal issues like family conflicts, elder abuse, and collective trauma. A positive shift towards inclusivity is evident in research, focusing on diverse groups like gender minorities, racial minorities, mothers, and adolescents. Additionally, the amplified focus on mental disorders like PTSD, anxiety, and suicidal behaviors during the pandemic stresses the need for tailored interventions and support systems. Exploring innovative methods such as mindfulness‐based practices and AI‐assisted technologies showcases the field's adaptability in mental health interventions.

Abstract:Objectives To analyze the evolution of research on children and adolescents mental health issues during COVID-19 pandemic and discuss research hotspots and cutting-edge developments. Methods The literature obtained from the web of science core collection as of June 28, 2022, was analyzed using Citespace, VOSviewer bibliometric visualization mapping software. Results A total of 6,039 relevant papers were found, of which 5,594 were included in the study. The number of literatures is growing since 2020; and the country, institution, and journal publications were analyzed. The co-citation analysis shows that there are more research articles among the highly cited articles and a lack of systematic reviews that use critical thinking for review. In the cluster analysis, mental health and life change were the most representative. The timeline view of the keywords shows that Online learning (#0), Public health (#1), and Mental health (#2) are the three largest clusters and shows the change over time. Conclusion This study helped analyze the mental health of children and adolescents during the COVID-19 pandemic and identified hot trends and shortcomings, which are important references for the theoretical basis of future research and decision making and technical guidance for systematic reviews.

Abstract:Purpose: The purpose of this study is to systematically review the research hotspots and frontiers in the field of international child and adolescent mental health education over the past 22 years. Furthermore, based on the changes in these hotspots, it aims to predict future research directions, providing valuable references for scholars engaged in subsequent research in this field. Methods: Using analytical tools such as CiteSpace, R-Tool, and VOSviewer, a quantitative analysis was conducted on 10,231 research papers in the field of children's mental health education from the WoSCC database published between 2000 and 2022. Results: The results indicate that mental health problems among children and adolescents have become a global public health issue, with a continuous increase in related research publications over the years. The COVID-19 pandemic has exacerbated mental health problems among children and adolescents during periods of lockdown. The United States is a core research country in this field, and influential journals in this area include "Pediatrics" and "Social Science & Medicine." Ford, Tamsin is an authoritative author in this field. Popular research topics in this field include family education, children with disabilities, and substance abuse. Future research is likely to focus on the impact of physical activity on mental health.

Abstract:Objective: COVID-19 led to a horrific global pandemic, with strict lockdowns and prolonged indoor stays increasing the risk of mental health problems, affecting people of different ages, genders, regions, and types of work to varying degrees. This study provides a bibliometric summary of the knowledge map related to mental health during and post COVID-19 pandemic. Methods: Publications related to mental health during and post COVID-19 pandemic were searched in the Web of Science Core Collection (WoSCC) database through March 19, 2024. After screening the search results, the literature included in the final was first quantitatively analyzed using GraphPad Prism software and then visualized using VOSviewer, CiteSpace, and R (the bibliometrix package). Results: The 7,047 publications from 110 countries were included, with the highest number of publications from China and the United States, and the number of publications related to mental health during and post the COVID-19 pandemic increased annually until 2023, after which it began to decline. The major institutions were University of Toronto, University of London, Harvard University, King's College London, University College London, University of California System, University of Melbourne, Institut National De La Sante Et De La Recherche Medicale (Inserm), Mcgill University, and University of Ottawa; Frontiers in Psychiatry had the highest number of publications, and the Journal of Affective Disorders had the highest number of co-citations; 36,486 authors included, with Xiang, Yu-Tao, Cheung, Teris, Chung, Seockhoon published the most papers, and World Health Organization, Kroenke K, and Wang CY were the most co-cited; epidemiologically relevant studies on mental health related to COVID-19, and the importance of mental health during normalized epidemic prevention and control are the main directions of this research area, especially focusing on children's mental health; "pandemic," "sars-cov-2," "epidemic," "depression," "coronavirus anxiety," "anxiety," "longitudinal," "child," "coronavirus anxiety," "longitudinal," "child," and "coronavirus" are the top keywords in recent years. Conclusion: This comprehensive bibliometric study summarizes research trends and advances in mental health during and after the COVID-19 Pandemic. It serves as a reference for mental health research scholars during and after the COVID-19 pandemic, clarifying recent research preoccupations and topical directions.

Advances in Research on Abused Women in China: Bibliometric Analysis by CiteSpace

Abstract:China has made remarkable progress in preventing and intervening in domestic violence against women. Scholars have reported on this development. Methodologically, this paper, which draws on 3362 references selected from the China National Knowledge Infrastructure, uses the bibliometric method to summarize the characteristics, evolution, and frontiers of key topics into research on abused women in China between 1993 and 2020. The paper has three key findings. (1) The volume of literature has grown continuously, but in three stages: initial, rapid growth, and peak fluctuation; (2) the topic has five research hotspots: fundamental issues in domestic violence against women; new legislation, notably the 2015 Anti-Domestic Violence Law; social support for abused women; matrimonial disputes involving abused women; and conviction and sentencing of abused women who kill their husbands; and (3) the current research frontiers lie within the defects of the Anti-Domestic Violence Law and challenges in the implementation of the law. In addition, the paper examines characteristics and limitations of the study on abused women in China and suggests changes in practice, policy, and directions for future research.

Abstract:Juvenile delinquency and suicide have been growing worldwide, behind which mental health issues cannot be ignored. Research status, hotspots, and frontiers in this field were mined in this study. Based on 4681 related publications from the Web of Science Core Collection, collaboration, hotspots, and frontiers were revealed via CiteSpace (from January 1st, 2000 to July 19, 2022). There is a continuous growth of relevant research, especially in the last five years. Alan Apter from Tel Aviv University in Israel was the author who published the most articles in the field (49 articles). The USA and University of California System were the leading country and institution with 2603 and 222 articles cited 88964 and 7891 times, respectively. There was active collaboration between institutions, countries, and authors on conducting research on the issues. Hot topics focused on mental health, behavior, depression, prevalence, ideation, suicide, substance use, psychiatric disorder, reliability, intervention, and risk factors. Research frontiers include adverse childhood experience, gay, and stigma. Healthy family dynamics (harmonious marital relationship, stable family structure, and correct parenting style) is the first layer of defense against juvenile delinquency and suicide. And the second layer is positive social determinants (neighbor influence, social support, stigma, and minority stress).
The development and evolution of the research topic on the mental health of college students: A bibliometric review based on CiteSpace and VOSviewer

Abstract:Background: With the advances in society and in response to changing times, college students have had to face multiple challenges. These challenges frequently affect the mental health of college students, leading to significant consequences for their social lives, personal well-being, and academic achievements, thereby attracting extensive societal attention. Therefore, examining the current status of research topics related to the mental health of college students can assist academia in dissecting the influencing factors and seeking solutions at their source or through early intervention. This can contribute to a better understanding of and effectively address this challenge. Method: CiteSpace and VOSviewer were used to conduct a bibliometric analysis of 1609 journal articles indexed in the Web of Science (WoS) database over the past two decades (2000-2022), which helped identify the current state of research and hot topics in the field based on development trends. Furthermore, this study analyzes and discusses the core authors, high-productivity countries and organizations, key journals, and keyword clustering in this field. This study clarifies the current research landscape, analyzes evolving trends based on developmental trajectories, and identifies forefront research hotspots. This study provides scholars with reference research directions and ideas for conducting subsequent studies. Results: Since the beginning of the 21st century, research on college students' mental health has increased, especially in the past three years, and due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic and online distance learning, the number of publications has increased rapidly. With the increase in attention and publication volume, the countries and organizations contributing papers as well as core journals have all started to take shape. Cluster and evolution analyses found that several stable research topics have been formed in this research field, and many new and diverse topics are continuously emerging with time. Conclusion: and prospect: The findings prove that the field of college students' mental health has begun to take shape, gradually shifting from conceptual research to the implementation of specific interventions. However, whether specific interventions are effective and how effective they are require further investigation.

Abstract:Purpose: Cyberbullying has attracted the world's attention, and therefore researchers across the world have contributed to the literature on cyberbullying and mental health. Amongst others, they have conducted bibliometric analyses and associated cyberbullying with various factors but have not determined the impact of cyberbullying on people's mental health. Hence, the aim of this study was to conduct bibliometric analyses of cyberbullying and mental health to analyze the academic performance of the literature on impact of cyberbullying on people's mental health; and to propose future research avenues to make further contributions to this field of study. Methodology: Spreadsheets and VOSviewer were used to conduct the bibliometric analysis. The data were extracted from the SCOPUS database which provided an extensive collection of data and journals. Findings: Having explored the top active countries publishing on the impact of cyberbullying on people's mental health and the academic performance of such research articles by means of a qualitative bibliometric analysis, the results revealed that this research topic is still to be researched extensively. The study also suggests countries/regions where this research topic can be explored further, as well as possible journals for publication of research results, and further studies to be conducted. Discussion: The literature presents a fragmented view on the impact of cyberbullying on people's mental health. Studies on cyberbullying are limited for the reasons as discussed in this article. Hence, bibliometric analysis was conducted to analyze the performance of academic literature on the impact of cyberbullying on people's mental health; the academic performance of research articles on cyberbullying and mental health; and to make proposals toward a future research agenda.

COVID-19 and family violence: A rapid review of literature published up to 1 year after the pandemic declaration

Abstract:Background: After the World Health Organization declared COVID-19 a pandemic on March 11, 2020, public health restrictions were introduced to slow COVID-19 transmission and prevent health systems overload globally. Work-from-home requirements, online schooling, and social isolation measures required adaptations that may have exposed parents and children to family violence, including intimate partner violence and child abuse and neglect, especially in the early days of the pandemic. Thus, we sought to: (1) examine the occurrence of family violence; (2) identify factors associated with family violence; and (3) identify relevant recommendations, from COVID-19 literature published up to 1 year after the pandemic declaration. Methods: This review was registered on PROSPERO (CRD42021241622), employed rapid review methods, and extracted data from eligible papers in medical and health databases published between December 1, 2019 and March 11, 2021 in MEDLINE, PsycINFO, CINAHL, and Embase. Findings: 28 articles including 29 studies were included in the rapid review. While many studies of families/households revealed rises in family violence incidence, official justice, police, and emergency department records noted declines during the pandemic. Parental stress, burnout, mental distress (i.e. depression), difficulty managing COVID-19 measures, social isolation, and financial and occupational losses were related to increases in family violence. Health services should adopt approaches to prevent family violence, treat victims in the context of public health restrictions, and increase training for digital service usage by health and educational professionals. Interpretation: Globally, restrictions aimed to limit the spread of COVID-19 may have increased the risk factors and incidence of family violence in communities. Official records of family violence may be biased toward under-reporting in the context of pandemics and should be interpreted with caution. Abstract:Objective: The goal of this special issue of Psychology of Violence is to energize the field to develop new paradigms for reducing violence that better meet people's needs through evidence-based research, services, and policy. Method: Fifteen well-regarded scholars in the areas of sexual, intimate partner, youth, and community violence reflected on their area of expertise and provided concrete suggestions for future research, policy, and programmatic initiatives. Results: Several authors poignantly describe how we have failed survivors of sexual and intimate partner violence through the U.S. system's almost exclusive focus on criminal justice solutions, despite the lack of evidence for their effectiveness in reducing violence or helping survivors' recover. Several other authors bemoan the limited programs available for perpetrators and the need for innovative approaches that reduce their likelihood of engaging in future violence and bring closure to survivors. Current U.S. funding priorities are described and interrogated. Some authors highlight the needs of marginalized groups who experience systemic bias and disproportionate levels of violence. Other authors focus on a specific research topic or methodology, identifying important new research questions that build on past findings. Another set of authors focus on prevention initiatives, highlighting successes and failures. Many authors note that funding decisions are frequently made without empirical evidence of program effectiveness. Conclusions: These articles call for researchers to listen to the voices of all members of the global community and to collaborate with them to address violence. Abstract:Suicide is a global mental health problem. In recent years, suicidal ideation, suicide attempts and suicides have increased in children and adolescents. In this population, cyberbullying is a public health problem that has grown along the increase in use of devices with internet access. Cybervictimization is related to negative health effects, even including suicidal ideation or suicide in cyberbullied individuals. This study is the first bibliometric analysis on scientific literature related to cyberbullying and suicide based on the traditional laws of bibliometrics. The aim was to generate a global overview of the research related to this object of study. We analysed 242 documents published in journals indexed in the Web of Science, examining the trend followed by annual publications, identifying the prolific (most productive) and prominent (prolific co‐authors with one or more papers between most cited papers) co‐authors, leading countries and journals, the most cited documents and the most used author keywords. Annual publications followed an exponential growth trend (R2 = 89.2%), meaning that there is a great interest in the scientific community for this study object. International Journal of Environmental Research and Public Health and Psychiatry Research were the journals with most document published. Baiden, P. (prolific), Kowalski, R. (most cited), Hinjuja, S. and Patchin, J. (prominents) were the most highlighted co‐authors, reference authors on the subject. Most scientific output originated in the USA. Five thematic lines were identified among the author keywords. The results of this research show the growing interest of the scientific community in this topic, along with useful information for researchers and publishers, identifying relevant co‐authors, journals interested in the topic and emerging lines of research, highlighting self‐harm, cyber‐victimisation, suicide risks and suicidal behaviours as the most recent thematic lines.

Abstract:Background: Disaster epidemiology has not attracted enough attention in the past few decades and still faces significant challenges. This study aimed to systematically analyze the evolving trends and research hotspots in disaster epidemiology and provide insights into disaster epidemiology. Methods: We searched the Scopus and Web of Science Core Collection (WoSCC) databases between 1985 and 2020 to identify relevant literature on disaster epidemiology. The retrieval strategies were TITLE-ABS-KEY (disaster epidemiology) and TS = (disaster AND epidemiology). Bibliometrix, VOSviewer 1.6.6 and SigmaPlot 12.5 were used to analyze the key bibliometric indicators, including trends and annual publications, the contributions of countries, institutions, journals and authors, and research hotspots. Results: A total of 1,975 publications were included. There was an increasing trend in publications over the past 35 years. The USA was the most productive country. The most frequent institutions and journals were Fukushima Medical University and Prehospital and Disaster Medicine. Galea S made significant contributions to this field. “Epidemiology” was the highest-frequency keyword. COVID-19 was highly cited after 2019. Three research hotspots were identified: (i) the short- and long-term adverse health effects of disasters on the population; (ii) COVID-19 pandemic and emergency preparedness; and (iii) disaster management. Conclusions: In recent decades, the USA was a global leader in disaster epidemiology. Disaster management, the short- and long-term health effects of disasters, and the COVID-19 pandemic reflected the research focuses. Our results suggest that these directions will remain research hotspots in the future. International collaboration is also expected to widen and deepen in the field of disaster epidemiology.

Bibliometric and Visual Analysis of Severe Trauma Literature in the Past 20 Years

Abstract:Severe trauma is a critical aspect of medical practice, profoundly impacting patient care and outcomes. Over the past 20 years, advancements in trauma care concepts and the utilization of advanced technologies have led to substantial growth in severe trauma research, evidenced by a notable increase in research activity and subsequent publications. To understand the publication landscape in severe trauma, identify prevailing research trends, and highlight areas requiring further development for future insights, we conducted a bibliometric analysis. Our analysis indicates that there are 16,939 severe trauma‐related publications from the past 20 years, with a continuous increase in publication volume, particularly showing a rapid growth trend from 2018 to 2021. The United States leads in both volume and citation frequency. Moreover, we synthesized data on productive countries/regions and research institutions, showcasing extensive collaboration across diverse geographic locations and institutional affiliations. Substantial progress has been achieved in severe trauma research, particularly in clinical diagnosis, treatment, epidemiology, prevention, and pathogenesis. However, there is still a gap in adopting cutting‐edge interdisciplinary methodologies. This study provides a comprehensive overview of the current state of severe trauma research and suggests pathways for future advancement.
Bibliometric Analysis of Psychological Distress in Stroke: Research Trends, Hot Spots, and Prospects- An Emphasis on China

Abstract:Background Currently, the psychological problems of stroke patients are of great concern. It is a hot topic of clinical care research to analyze and discuss the current status and hot spots, frontiers and development trends of research on psychological distress of stroke patients, and to develop and implement psycho-social care programs to improve the quality of life of patients.However, there is an absence of visual overviews to assess the published literature systematically. Methods The Web of Science (WOS) database was used to search the relevant literature in this field, spanning the period 2009–2023, and the countries, institutions, and research keywords in this field were visualized and analyzed by CiteSpace analysis software. Results An analysis of 416 papers found that the overall trend of psychological distress in stroke patients was increasing, and the research hotspots were mainly focusing on the relationship between different risk factors and psychological distress in stroke patients, psychological distress in stroke caregivers, positive psychology in stroke patients, and interventions on psychological distress in stroke patients. In the future, the research population may gradually shift to stroke caregivers, and the research focus will be on developing and studying scales. Conclusion Visual analysis of psychological distress studies in stroke patients can provide strategies for clinical interventions and broaden thinking about clinical care.

Systematic Analysis on School Violence and Bullying Using Data Mining

Abstract:Background School violence and bullying public issues that have been related to several risk factors and negative consequences. These have been the subject of several research, education, and policy. An increased number of related publications were found from the past years. However, published narrative, systematic, and meta-analysis reviews are limited only to the synthesis and analysis of studies to certain numbers due to the manual and tedious process involved. Objective To identify prevalent school violence and bullying research, and to describe the temporal trends of topics within the last three decades using data mining. Methodology This study systematically mined abstracts from Web of Science and Scopus using the keywords "school violence" or "school bullying" to characterize the relevant literature by an efficient and effective approach. Pre-processing, word frequency and co-occurrence analysis, topic modeling, and trend analysis were done to detect semantic patterns and explore the yearly development of research themes. R packages like udpipe, stopwords, topicmodel were utilized to perform all data mining processes. Results Primary categories of research topics were related to definition, forms, consequences, factors, and strategies of school violence and bullying. The most prevalent school violence and bullying research are related to "bullying phenomenon," "physical school environment," "sexual violence," "physical violence" and "influencing factors." While the least prevalent school violence and bullying research are related to "monitoring and evaluation," "nature of conflict," "victimization and self-identification," "psychological violence and bullying" and "social context of bullying." Overall, except for the topic on monitoring and evaluation ( p 0.06), all school violence and bullying research topics showed an increasingly significant trend ( p <0.05) from 1995 to 2021. Conclusion The use of data mining to understand the research publications about school violence and bullying revealed that there is a large amount of research since the 1990s. However, some topics of school violence and bullying, like monitoring and evaluation, still need further study.
