Abstract:Purpose: Lignans such as secoisolariciresinol diglucoside in flaxseed, are metabolizes to bioactive mammalian lignans of END and ENL. Because mammalian lignans have chemical structural similarity to the natural estrogen, they are thought to behave like selective estrogen receptor modulators and therefore have anticancer effect against hormone-related cancers. We isolated a series of lignan compounds, named as Vitexins, from the seed of Chinese herb Vitex Negundo.Experimental Design: We purified several Vitexin lignan compounds. Cytotoxic and antitumor effects were analyzed in cancer cells and in tumor xenograft models. In vivo metabolism of Vitexins was determined in rat.Results: Contrasts to the classic lignans, Vitexins were not metabolized to END and ENL. A mixture of Vitexins EVn-50 and purified Vitexin compound 6-hydroxy-4-(4-hydroxy-3-methoxyphenyl)-3-hydroxymethyl-7-methoxy-3, 4-dihydro-2-naphthaldehyde have cytotoxic effect on breast, prostate, and ovarian cancer cells and induces apoptosis with cleavage in poly ADP ribose polymerase protein, up-regulation of Bax, and down-regulation of Bcl-2. This induction of apoptosis seems to be mediated by activation of caspases because inhibition of caspases activity significantly reduced induced apoptosis. We showed a broad antitumor activity of EVn-50 on seven tumor xenograft models including breast, prostate, liver, and cervical cancers. Consistent with in vitro data, EVn-50 treatment induced apoptosis, down-regulated of Bcl-2, and up-regulated Bax in tumor xenografts.Conclusion: Vitexin is a class of nature lignan compounds, whose action and anticancer effect is mediated by the mechanisms different from the classic lignans. Vitexin-induced antitumor effect and cytotoxic activity is exerted through proapoptotic process, which is mediated by a decreased Bcl-2/Bax ratio and activation of caspases. Abstract:This study presents a comprehensive investigation into the potential anticancer properties and chemical constituents of an unexplored plant ( Grewia velutina ) extracts. Three distinct extracts of hexane (GVH), chloroform (GVC) and methanol(GVM) of the plant were used to check their anticancer activity against four prominent cancer cell lines (HepG2, DU145, Hela, A549), and the results were compared with the standard chemotherapeutic agent doxorubicin. Anticancer assays revealed that the GVC extract exhibited highest activity than others, with IC50 values of 61.06 μg/mL, 47.87 μg/mL, 88.76 μg/mL, and 87.99 μg/mL against HepG2, DU145, Hela, and A549 cell lines, respectively and reflected a comparable activity to doxorubicin, highlighting its potential as an effective anticancer agent. With the help of chemical profiling data, molecular docking studies were performed and this study suggested that ionol, present in GVC extract is the most active compound against all the cancerous cells.

Abstract:To date, many potent compounds have been found which are derived from plants and herbs and possess anticancer properties due to their antioxidant effects. 9′′-Lithospermic acid methyl ester is an effective natural compound derived from the Thymus thracicus Velen. It has been proven that this compound has substantial properties in different diseases, but its effects in cancer have not been thoroughly evaluated. The aim of this work was to study the effects of 9′′-Lithospermic acid methyl ester (9′′-methyl lithospermate) in U87 and T98 glioblastoma cell lines. Its effects on cellular viability were assessed via Trypan Blue and Crystal Violet stains, the cell cycle analysis through flow cytometry, and cell migration by employing the scratch wound healing assay. The results demonstrated that 9′′-methyl lithospermate was able to inhibit cellular proliferation, induce cellular death, and inhibit cell migration. Furthermore, these results were intensified by the addition of temozolomide, the most prominent chemotherapeutic drug in glioblastoma tumors. Further studies are needed to reproduce these findings in animal models and investigate if 9′′-lithospermic acid methyl ester represents a potential new therapeutic addition for gliomas.

Abstract:Natural products are rich in several potent bioactive compounds, targeting complex network of proteins involved in various diseases. Vitex negundo (VN), commonly known as “chaste tree”, is an ethnobotanically important plant with enormous medicinal properties. Different species of Vitex vary in chemical composition, thus producing different phytochemicals. Several bioactive compounds have been extracted from leaves, seeds, roots in form of volatile oils, flavonoids, lignans, iridoids, terpenes, and steroids. These bioactive compounds exhibit anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, antidiabetic, anticancer, antimicrobial. VN is typically known for its role in the modulation of cellular events like apoptosis, cell cycle, motility of sperms, polycystic ovary disease, and menstrual cycle. VN, reportedly, perturbs many cancer-signaling pathways involving p-p38, p-ERK1/2, and p-JNK in LPS-elicited cells, N-terminal kinase (JNK), COX-1 pathways, MAPK, NF-κB, tumor necrosis factor α (TNF-α), Akt, mTOR, vascular endothelial growth factor, hypoxia-inducible factor (HIF-1α). Several bioactive compounds obtained from VN have been commercialized and others are under investigation. This is the first review presenting up-to-date information about the VN, its bioactive constituents and their mode of action.

Abstract:Background: The search for natural anticancer agents is a worthy scientific research goal, driven by the hope to lessen cancer's tremendous global burden. Objective: This study aimed at evaluating the cytotoxic activity of Gardenia latifolia Ait. (Rubiaceae) against lung (A549) and colon (HCT116) cancer cell lines. Cytotoxicity-guided isolation of the bioactive phytochemicals was conducted, followed by various mechanistic validations of the appealing cytotoxic metabolites. Methods: The cytotoxic effects were determined using MTT assay. The two most cytotoxic compounds were further evaluated for their effects on cell cycle progression and apoptotic capabilities using flow cytometry approach. Additionally, we conducted a molecular docking analysis to reveal their potential interactions with the human topoisomerase IIα. Results: The phytochemical investigation led to isolation of nine compounds including a new one, (-) 1-acetyl 4,5-di-O-caffeoyl quinic acid. The latter compound was the most cytotoxic against the colon cancer cell line (IC50 1.9 μg/ml) with a remarkable tumor-selectivity (SI ≈ 15). Moreover, the isolated glycoside, 1-O-[6-O-(5-O-vanilloyl-β-ᴅ-apiofuranosyl)-β-ᴅ-glucopyranosyl]-3,4,5-trimethoxybenzene, showed selective cytotoxicity towards A549 and HCT116 cells (IC50 values of 3.8 and 3.3 μg/ml, respectively). Both compounds considerably affected the cell cycle distribution. They caused G2/M cell cycle arrest, showed apoptotic capabilities, and displayed significant in silico topoisomerase IIα inhibition. Conclusion: Two cytotoxic and apoptotic compounds were reported from Gardenia latifolia. Subsequent in vivo studies and clinical trials should be conducted to substantiate their anticipated therapeutic values.

Abstract:The objective of this study is to explore the antiproliferative activity of the traditional Chinese medicine monomer vitexin on colon cancer HCT-116 cells and its underlying mechanism. The in vitro antiproliferative activity of vitexin on colon cancer HCT-116 cells was evaluated using the CCK-8 assay. Potential drug targets for colon cancer were identified through GEO chip data mining, and molecular docking using Schrödinger software was conducted. Molecular dynamics simulations were employed to deeply analyze the interaction between candidate compounds and target proteins. Flow cytometry was employed to examine the cell cycle. The impact of vitexin on the expression of CDK1/cyclinB proteins in HCT-116 cells was assessed through Western blot analysis, immunofluorescence, and CDK inhibition assay. Vitexin exhibited inhibitory effects on colon cancer HCT-116 cells, with a half inhibitory concentration (IC50) value of 203.27 ± 9.85 μmol/L. The analysis of differential gene expression in GEO and TCGA datasets, along with the GENECARD dataset of related disease genes, identified 91 disease targets, including "CDK1." Vitexin induced cell cycle arrest in the G2/M phase of HCT-116 cells. Molecular docking revealed a strong interaction between Vitexin and CDK1 (Docking score - 9.497), with molecular dynamics simulations confirming the stability of the Vitexin-CDK1 complex and comparable inhibitory effects to Flavopiridol. Vitexin can inhibit the expression of CDK1/cyclin B proteins in HCT-116 cells, with an IC50 of 58.06 ± 3.07 μmol/L. Vitexin may inhibit colon cancer HCT-116 cell proliferation by suppressing CDK1/cyclin B expression, leading to cell cycle arrest in the G2/M phase.
Network Pharmacology-Based Virtual Screening of Chemical Constituents from Vitexnegundo Linn's Discovered Novel Molecular Targets for Breast Cancer Treatment

Abstract:Background: The Chinese chaste tree Vitexnegundo (VN) is a popular herb in South and Southeast Asia that has several health benefits, including the ability to inhibit tumor growth and induce apoptosis in multiple tumors. Literature revealed scanty research on breast cancer, with little focus on the molecular mechanism of the disease and an emphasis on targets, biological networks, and active components. Exploring natural compounds as possible therapeutic options is an old but still promising approach for drug discovery and development. This study used a thorough computational and statistical method to screen potential drug candidates. Methods: The active ingredients and targets of VN were identified using SwissADME, SwissTargetPrediction, STITCH, IMPPAT database, KNapSAcK database, and literature. The OMIM and GeneCards databases were searched for possible targets related to breast cancer. The PASS online server was used to check the probability of active metabolite (Pa) against breast cancer. To build protein-protein interactions (PPI) networking, the intersection of disease and drug targets was uploaded to the STITCH database. Cytoscape software was used to analyze the topology parameters of networking to identify hub targets. Gene Ontology (GO) was analyzed using Metascape and ShinyGO, Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes (KEGG) enrichment analysis was performed using the David database and SR plot, and the site of expression and protein domain were studied using FunRich. We employed AutoDockvina, Discovery Studio, and UCSF ChimeraX software and auxiliary tools for molecular docking and analysis. Zincpharmer was used for pharmacophore mapping. ADMET analysis was conducted using ADMETsar, Swiss ADME, ADMETLab servers, and mypresto using GROMACS for molecular dynamics simulation (MDS). Results: A total of 65 targets and 21 active ingredients were identified. Further investigation was conducted on 20 hub targets selected through PPI networking construction. The enrichment analysis results indicated that the key factors were P, amyloid-beta response, cellular response to amyloid- beta, Pos. reg. of G2/M transition of the mitotic cell cycle, and response to a toxic substance. The molecular docking, pharmacophore mapping, and MD simulation results indicated that apigenin, kaempferol, and luteolin positively interacted with CDK1 and CDK6 proteins. Conclusion: This study is the first to use network pharmacology, molecular docking, pharmacophore mapping, and MD simulation to identify the active ingredients, molecular targets, and critical biological pathways responsible for VN anti-breast cancer. The study provides a theoretical basis for further research in this area.

Abstract:Evn-50 is a lignan compounds mixture extracted from Vitex negundo, a widely used herb in traditional Chinese medicine. This study is aimed to define the spectrum of cytotoxic activity of EVn-50, and also to investigate mechanisms underlying the anticancer actions via assessing the influence on cell cycle using EVn-50, and the lignan compound VB1 purified from EVn-50. The cytotoxic effect of EVn-50 and VB1 was determined with SRB assay using a panel of cancer cell lines. Breast cancer cell line MDA-MB-435 and liver cancer cell line SMMC-7721 were selected for further evaluating the effect of EVn-50 or VB1 on cell cycle by flow cytometric analysis. Apoptosis exerted by EVn-50 or VB1 was measured by TUNEL assay and DAPI staining, and Western blot analysis was utilized to assess the influence on expression and phosphorylation of proteins which are closely related to cell cycle and apoptosis. EVn-50 possessed a broad spectrum of in vitro anticancer activity for those tested cancer cells, especially sensitive to MDA-MB-435, SKOV-3, BXPC-3, SMMC-7721, MCF-7, HO-8910, SGC-7901, BEL-7402, HCT-116, and 786-O, with the respective IC50 below 10μg/ml. Treatment with EVn-50 or VB1 resulted in arresting the MDA-MB-435 and SMMC-7721 cells at G2/M phase, which was further supported by observations of increased phosphorylation of Histone 3 at Ser10, phosphorylation of Cdk1 at Tyr15, expression of cyclin B1, and decreased expression of Cdc25c. Moreover, we found that exposure of MDA-MB-435 cells to EVn-50 or VB1 caused obvious apoptosis of MDA-MB-435 cells. Our data show that EVn-50, lignan compounds extracted from Vitex negundo, possesses a broad spectrum cytotoxic effect via arresting cancer cells at G2/M phase cell cycle and subsequently inducing apoptosis.
Vitex Rotundifolia Fractions Induced Apoptosis in Human Breast Cancer T-47D Cell Line via Activation of Extrinsic and Intrinsic Pathway

Abstract:OBJECTIVE: Breast cancer is the most frequently diagnosed cancer worldwide. The main objective of the present study was to evaluate the cytotoxic effects and mechanism of cell death induced by the extract and fractions of Vitex rotundifolia (leaves) in breast cancer cell line, T-47D.METHODS: The cytotoxicity activity was measured using MTS assay. The mode of cell death was analysed by early (phosphatidylserine externalization) and late apoptosis (DNA fragmentation). The caspases 8, 9, 3/7 and apoptotic proteins bax, bcl-2 study were done by western blot and ELISA method.RESULTS: The methanol extract was found to inhibit 50% growth of T-47D cells at the concentration of 79.43µg/ml respectively after 72hr. From seven fractions, fraction F1, F2 and F3 produced cytotoxicity effects in T-47D cell line with IC50 (72hr) < 30µg/ml. The results obtained by Annexin V/PI apoptosis detection assay and TUNEL assay suggest that active fractions of Vitex rotundifolia induced early and late apoptosis (DNA fragmentation) in T-47D cell line. Moreover, western blot analysis and Caspase GloTM luminescent assay demonstrated that fractions F2 and F3 triggered apoptotic cell death via activation of caspases -8, -9 and -3/7 and up-regulation of Bax and down-regulation of Bcl-2 protein. Furthermore, chemical profiling confirms the presence of potential metabolites (vitexicarpin) in fractions of Vitex rotundifolia.CONCLUSION: Thus, the present study suggests the remarkable potential of active metabolites in fractions of Vitex rotundifolia as future cancer therapeutic agent for the treatment of breast cancer.<br>.

Abstract:Nowadays, most antiviral drugs are plant-based due to their low toxicity and high resistance. Morinda citrifolia (Noni) is such a perennial shrub a popular plant based medicine due to its wide therapeutic applications. The phytochemicals present in its fruit as well as its leaf have many antiviral properties and can enhance the human immune system. Herein, we report the identification of bioactive components present in the Morinda citrifolia (Noni) ethanolic leaf extract by GC-MS analysis and their biological interaction with human parallel-stranded 7-mer g-quadruplex DNA of MCF-7 using Biovia Discovery Studio software. In vitro analysis by MTT assay of the same extract reported a living cells of 59.74% at 100 μg/ml. The GC-MS analysis of ethanolic leaf extract revealed the presence of 27 bioactive components, and out of these, six major components were interacted with cancer DNA. The molecular docking interaction identified the most active bio component Phytol, with a binding energy of -27.0796 Kcal/mol. this value is much better than the commercially available doxorubicin. This novel study will provide insight into the development of bioactive components from Morinda citrifolia leaf extract against human breast cancer with minimal side effects.
Phytochemical Screening, HPTLC Fingerprinting and Evaluation of In Vitro Cytotoxic Activity of Stem Bark Extracts of O roxylum indicum (L.) Vent. Against Human Cervical Cancer Cells

Abstract:Oroxylum indicum, a well-known traditional medicinal plant which is used to alleviate various kinds of diseases in Asia. The study aimed to identify bioactive compounds present in O. indicum stem bark using HPTLC technique. Further, the cytotoxic effects of the plant extracts were determined against HeLa (human cervical carcinoma) cell lines. The results of the study have shown the presence of the phytoconstituents such as flavonoids, phenols, tannins and steroids. MTT (3-(4, 5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2, 5-diphenyl tetrazolium bromide) assay showed that the ethanol, methanol and water extracts of O. indicum exhibited cytotoxic effect in HeLa cell lines with IC50 values of 119, 89.43 and 114.1 µg/mL, respectively against standard doxorubicin with IC50 value 3.895 µg/mL. The current study suggests that the methanol extract of O. indicum may offer chemopreventive properties. However, additional research is required to isolate and characterize the specific chemical entities present in O. indicum. These studies will aid in identifying a potential lead compound that holds promise as a natural anticancer agent.

Abstract:Cancer is responsible for approximately 10 million deaths worldwide, with 70% of the deaths occurring in low- and middle-income countries; as such safer and more effective anti-cancer drugs are required. Therefore, the potential benefits of Ziziphus nummularia and Ziziphus spina-christi as sources of anti-cancer agents were investigated. Z. nummularia and Z. spina-christi extracts were prepared using chloroform, ethanol, ethyl acetate, and water. The extracts' anti-cancer properties were determined using the MTT Cell Viability Assay in four cancer cell lines: breast (KAIMRC2 and MDA-MB-231), colorectal (HCT8), and liver (HepG2). The ApoTox-Glo Triplex Assay and high-content imaging (HCI)-Apoptosis Assay were used to assess KAIMRC2 and HCT8 cells further. In addition, KAIMRC2 cells were tested for microtubule staining, and AKT/mTOR protein expression was determined by western blot analysis. Liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry (LC–MS) was performed to identify the secondary metabolites in the ethanol and ethyl acetate extracts, followed by in silico techniques to predict molecular targets and interactions, safety, and pharmacokinetic profile for identified metabolites. Out of the eight extracts, the ethanolic extract of Z. nummularia , exhibited the most potent activity against KAIMRC2 cells with an IC 50 value of 29.2 μg/ml. Cancer cell treatment with the ethanolic extract of Z. nummularia resulted in a dose-dependent decrease in cell viability with increased apoptosis and cytotoxic effects. Microtubule staining showed a disrupted microtubular network. The ethanolic extract treatment of KAIMRC2 cells led to upregulated expression of pAKT and pmTOR. In silico studies predicted luteolin-7-O-glucoside to be a ligand for tubulin with the highest docking score (− 7.686) and similar binding interactions relative to the native ligand. Further computational analysis of the metabolites showed acceptable pharmacokinetic and safety profiles, although ethanolic extract metabolites were predicted to have cardiotoxic effects. Ethanolic extraction is optimal for solubilizing active anticancer metabolites from Z. nummularia , which may act by causing M-phase arrest via inhibition of tubulin polymerization. Luteolin-7-O-glucoside is the lead candidate for further research and development as an anti-cancer agent. In addition, this study suggests that herbal treatment could switch on mechanisms of adaptation and survival in cancer cells.

Abstract:Five new iridoid glucosides, cannabifolisides A-E (1 - 5), together with nine analogues (6 - 14), were isolated from the leaves of Vitex negundo var. cannabifolia. Their structures were elucidated by spectroscopic data (NMR, UV, IR, and MS) analyses and comparison of their spectroscopic and physical data with the literature values. The protective effect of isolated compounds on human gastric epithelial cells were evaluated by measuring the enhanced cell viability of GES-1 cell insulted by TCA. Among these, compounds 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, and 14 remarkably increased the cell viability in a concentration-depend manner.
Severity and Duration of Metabolic Acidosis After Deep Hypothermic Circulatory Arrest for Thoracic Aortic Surgery.

Abstract:OBJECTIVE To determine the severity, duration, and contributing factors for metabolic acidosis after deep hypothermic circulatory arrest (DHCA). DESIGN Retrospective observational study. SETTING University hospital. PATIENTS Eighty-seven consecutive patients undergoing elective thoracic aortic surgery with DHCA. INTERVENTIONS Regression analysis was used to test for relationships between the severity of metabolic acidosis and clinical and laboratory variables. MEASUREMENTS AND MAIN RESULTS Minimum pH averaged 7.27±0.06, with 76 (87%) having a pH<7.35; 55 (63%), a pH<7.30; and 7 (8%), a pH<7.20. The mean duration of metabolic acidosis was 7.9±5.0 hours (range: 0.0 - 26.8), and time to minimum pH after DHCA was 4.3±2.0 hours (1.0 - 10.0 hours). Hyperchloremia contributed to metabolic acidosis in 89% of patients. The severity of metabolic acidosis correlated with maximum lactate (p<0.0001) and hospital length of stay (LOS) (r = 0.22, p<0.05), but not with DHCA time, DHCA temperature, duration of vasoactive infusions, or ICU LOS. Patient BMI was the sole preoperative predictor of the severity of postoperative metabolic acidosis. LIMITATIONS This retrospective analysis involved short-term clinical outcomes related to pH severity and duration, which indirectly may have included the impact of sodium bicarbonate administration. CONCLUSIONS Metabolic acidosis was common and severe after DHCA and was attributed to both lactic and hyperchloremic acidosis. DHCA duration and temperature had little impact on the severity of metabolic acidosis. The severity of metabolic acidosis was best predicted by the BMI and had minimal effects on short-term outcomes. Preventing hyperchloremic acidosis has the potential to decrease the severity of metabolic acidosis after DHCA.

Abstract:Glioblastoma, the most aggressive and challenging brain tumor, is a key focus in neuro-oncology due to its rapid growth and poor prognosis. The C6 glioma cell line is often used as a glioblastoma model due to its close simulation of human glioma characteristics, including rapid expansion and invasiveness. Alongside, herbal medicine, particularly Artemisia spp., is gaining attention for its anticancer potential, offering mechanisms like apoptosis induction, cell cycle arrest, and the inhibition of angiogenesis. In this study, we optimized extraction conditions of polyphenols from Artemisia annua L. and Artemisia vulgaris L. herbs and investigated their anticancer effects in silico and in vitro. Molecular docking of the main phenolic compounds of A. annua and A. vulgaris and potential target proteins, including programmed cell death (apoptosis) pathway proteins proapoptotic Bax (PDB ID 6EB6), anti-apoptotic Bcl-2 (PDB ID G5M), and the necroptosis pathway protein (PDB ID 7MON), mixed lineage kinase domain-like protein (MLKL), in complex with receptor-interacting serine/threonine-protein kinase 3 (RIPK3), revealed the high probability of their interactions, highlighting the possible influence of chlorogenic acid in modulating necroptosis processes. The cell viability of rat C6 glioma cell line was assessed using a nuclear fluorescent double-staining assay with Hoechst 33342 and propidium iodide. The extracts from A. annua and A. vulgaris have demonstrated anticancer activity in the glioblastoma model, with the synergistic effects of their combined compounds surpassing the efficacy of any single compound. Our results suggest the potential of these extracts as a basis for developing more effective glioblastoma treatments, emphasizing the importance of further research into their mechanisms of action and therapeutic applications.

Abstract:Ethnopharmacological relevance: The flowers of Nyctanthes arbor-tristis (L.) heals mouth ulcers. Its tinctures promote gastric secretions, and improve lung expectoration when taken orally. It has traditionally been used to treats scabies and other skin problems. The leaves of NAT(L.) plant are used in Ayurvedic medicine to treat sciatica, chronic fever, rheumatism, internal worm infections, and as a laxative, diaphoretic, and diuretic. The bark used in treatment of snakebite and bronchitis. In addition to traditional uses, pharmacologically this plant has potent antimalarial, antiarthritic, anticancer and antidiabetic activity. However, the mechanistic antiproliferative potentials of NAT(L.) flower as anticancer therapeutics has not yet been explored. Aim of the study: The current study is based on a broad range of scientific literature that highlights the nutritional and therapeutic benefits of NAT (L.). Present investigation was carried out to determine the therapeutic efficacy of NAT (L.) against breast adenocarcinoma cells and T-cell lymphoma. Materials and methods: The ethyl-acetate extract of NAT(L.) was tested against breast cancer cells to assess the anticancer potential. To evaluate apoptosis, intracellular ROS levels and mitochondrial dynamics, fluorescence microscopy and flow cytometry were employed. Additionally, cell cycle analysis and western blotting were also performed. Furthermore, in vivo antitumor efficacy of flower extracts was investigated in T-cell lymphoma-bearing BALB/c mice model. Results: Our present study revealed that NAT (L.) exert anticancer activity against breast cancer cells effectively at IC50 320 μg/ml while having less impact on normal cells with IC50 more than 480 μg/ml. Fluorescence imaging showed that NAT (L.) treatment elicits a concentration-dependent rise in the occurrence of apoptotic cell deaths with altered mitochondrial dynamics and was subsequently confirmed by flow cytometry. Further, flow cytometric analysis delineates ethyl acetate flower extract exposure promotes arrest of cells in S phase of the cell cycle. The differential expression of apoptotic proteins such as Bax, Bcl-2, cleaved PARP-1, cleaved caspase 3, Cytochrome-c, p53 and VEGF A were influenced by NAT (L.) treatment. The in vivo antitumor activity study delineates that NAT(L.) therapy significantly increased the life span of T-cell lymphoma bearing mice while reducing tumor load and belly size growth pattern without causing significant other distinct side effects as evident by histopathological studies. Conclusion: Our current findings unveil that NAT(L.) ethyl acetate flower extract potentially induces mitochondrial pathway of apoptosis, promote cell cycle arrest, reduces tumor load of mice, enhances survivability and could be a promising agent against the triple negative breast cancer and lymphoma.
