Abstract:Single women face various stressors throughout their lives. The study examines the experience of single Palestinian women in Israel and assesses how socio-demographic factors (age, level of education, economic status), cognitive factors (sense of coherence) and environmental factors (perceived social and family support) help to explain the level of stress in this group of women. A mixed methods design was employed: The qualitative component included eighteen semi-structured interviews, while the quantitative sample involved 183 participants who responded to four scale questions and five open questions. Two key findings are presented: First, a thematic analysis illustrates how complicated life is for Palestinian single women in Israel, whose experience is characterized by social exclusion and stressful situations. Second, the study finds significant connections between the women's perceived stress and their sense of coherence, family support and age. The findings underline the need to empower unmarried Arab women, as well as the need for various forms of community intervention. We recommend conducting longitudinal research with unmarried women and to include family members (parents and siblings) in the sample in order to assess the experience of singlehood from the perspective of these significant others.

The Effects of Damkohler Number on a Turbulent Shear Layer - Experimental Results

Abstract:A chemical reaction for which the reaction rate can be varied is studied in a fully developed, two-dimensional, turbulent mixing layer. The layer is formed between two nitrogen streams, one carrying low concentrations of fluorine and the other hydrogen and nitric oxide. For fixed concentrations of fluorine and hydrogen and for nitric oxide concentrations that are small fractions of the fluorine concentration, the heat release is fixed but the overall reaction rate is controlled by the nitric oxide concentration. Therefore, for fixed flow conditions, the nitric oxide concentration determines the ratio of the reaction rate to the mixing rate. For large values of this ratio, the amount of product, at a given downstream location, measured by the mean temperature rise, is independent of the reaction rate, i.e., the reaction is mixing limited. As the reaction rate is reduced the major effects are: (1) amount of product declines (as expected), (2) the mean temperature profile, which is initially some what unsymmetrical because the hydrogen-fluorine freestream concentration ratio is set at a large value, becomes symmetrical, and (3) the ramp-like instantaneous temperature traces within the large structure gradually become more top-hat.
Urinary Incontinence Affects the Quality of Life and Increases Psychological Distress and Low Self-Esteem

Abstract:Urinary incontinence is a common problem among women of reproductive age. The objectives of this study were to measure the prevalence of urinary incontinence and the association with quality of life, psychological distress and self-esteem in Saudi women in the city of Riyadh. A questionnaire-based cross-sectional study was conducted in primary healthcare centers with Saudi women aged between 30 and 75 years. The questionnaire consisted of Urinary Distress Inventory, Incontinence Impact Questionnaire, Kessler Psychological Distress Scale, Rosenberg Self-esteem Scale, and the Female Sexual Function Index. Around 47.5% of women were suffering from urinary incontinence. The most common type of incontinence was stress (79%), followed by urge (72%) and mixed type (51%). Multivariate logistic regression analysis found that stress (5.83 (3.1, 11.1)), urge (3.41 (2.0, 5.8)), mixed (8.71 (3.4, 22.4)) incontinence and severe urinary distress (8.11 (5.2, 12.7)) were associated with impaired quality of life. Women suffering from stress and urge incontinence were twice (2.0 (1.3, 2.2)) as likely of reporting moderate/severe mental distress. Women suffering from urge incontinence (1.92 (1.4, 2.7)) and severe urinary distress (1.74 (1.1, 2.8)) were at a higher prevalence of reporting low self-esteem. Urinary incontinence affects the physical, psychological, social, and sexual health of women. Healthcare providers should be knowledgeable about the adverse consequences of UI on women's personal and social life, and provide counseling and treatment accordingly.

Abstract:Background: Considering the high prevalence of UI in the rural areas of Jordan and the limited clinical data on its occurrence in central Jordan, this study aims to investigate the prevalence, risk factors, and impact of urinary incontinence (UI) on the quality of life (QoL) of women in central Jordan. Method: This cross-sectional study was conducted from September to December 2022, using online the Incontinence Impact Questionnaire short form (IIQ-7) and Urogenital Distress Inventory short form (UDI-6). Participation was voluntary, and anonymous. Internal consistency was assessed using Cronbach's α. Results: A total of 128 women participated in the study. More than half of the participants (54.33%, N = 69) experienced UI symptoms. Body mass index was the sole statistically significant factor linked to UI. Obese patients had the highest risk (OR 35, CI 95% 2.577-475.308, p < 0.05) compared to those with a healthy weight. Multivariate regression indicated significant associations of severe UI with smoking and vaginal births with a moderate impact of UI on QoL. Conclusions: The study's findings emphasize the need for women's health centers in the center of Jordan to develop comprehensive UI prevention and management programs to improve women's health and well-being.

Abstract:Introduction Urinary incontinence (UI) is a common clinical problem. It has an impact on an individual's social, professional, psychological, and physical elements of life. The present study aimed to identify the prevalence of UI and associated risk factors among Saudi women in Al Medina Al Munawara, Saudi Arabia. Methods A cross-sectional study was conducted using an online questionnaire among 430 women aged 18-60 in Al Medina Al Munawara. The participants completed the validated Arabic version of the International Consultation on Incontinence Questionnaire Short Form (ICIQ-SF) to assess the prevalence of UI and its associated factors. Results Among the participants, 64.8% did not experience urine incontinence, while 17.8% reported slight, 14.0% reported moderate, and 3.3% reported severe incontinence. Stress incontinence caused by coughing or sneezing was the most common cause (48.6%), followed by before reaching the toilet (urge incontinence) (34.5%) and after urination (15.5%). Significant associations were found between age, marital status, number of children, diabetes mellitus, urinary tract diseases, previous abdominal or pelvic surgery, obesity, constipation, and menopausal symptoms. However, no significant association was found between pregnancy and urine incontinence. Conclusions This study reveals a moderate prevalence of UI among Saudi women in Al Medina Al Munawara. The findings highlight the importance of early detection, treatment, and education on pelvic floor exercises to address UI. Factors such as age, marital status, number of children, and various medical conditions are associated with this condition, emphasizing the need for comprehensive management strategies.
The point prevalence of stress incontinence among young adult Jordanian women based on activity levels

Abstract:Background: Stress Urinary incontinence (SUI) is a common condition among women of all ages. The point prevalence of SUI among young adult Jordanian women is less explored. Objectives: To examine the point prevalence of SUI among this sample based on activity level, and whether the affected women have shared their complaints with healthcare providers and/or received education related to UI. Methods: This was a cross-sectional survey-based study. Participants with diseases that affect the control of micturition were excluded. The International Consultation on Incontinence Questionnaire-UI Short-Form was used to calculate the point prevalence of UI. The Tegner activity scale was used to classify participants based on their physical activity levels. The participants reported whether they shared their complaints with a healthcare provider or received education about this health problem. Results: Five hundred women (median age = 20 years, BMI = 22) participated (118 competitive athletes, 192 recreational, and 190 sedentary). The overall point prevalence of SUI was 14% (n = 61). A chi-square test of independence showed a significant difference in the point prevalence of SUI between women with different activity levels, χ2 (12) = 12.07, p < 0.01. The point prevalence of SUI among competitive athletes, recreational women, and sedentary women was 21%, 8%, and 11%, respectively. None of those with SUI have shared their complaints with healthcare providers or received education related to SUI. Conclusion: SUI is prevalent among young adult Jordanian women, with the highest prevalence observed in those engaged in competitive athletic activities. The affected women refrain from disclosing their SUI-related concerns to healthcare practitioners and lack sufficient knowledge about this health issue.

Abstract:Background: Stress urinary incontinence (SUI) is a prevalent condition among women in Saudi Arabia, characterized by involuntary urine leakage during physical activities that increase abdominal pressure, such as coughing or sneezing. This systematic review and meta-analysis aimed to evaluate the prevalence of SUI and identify its key risk factors. Methods: A comprehensive search of PubMed, Scopus, and Web of Science was conducted for studies published up to July 2024, following PRISMA 2020 guidelines. Results: Ten observational studies involving 18,245 participants met the inclusion criteria, and study quality was assessed using the Newcastle–Ottawa Scale. A random-effects model was employed for meta-analysis, with subgroup and sensitivity analyses performed to address heterogeneity. The pooled prevalence of SUI was 26% (95% CI: 14–41%, I2 = 99%, p < 0.001), with rates ranging from 3.3% to 50%. Subgroup analysis showed a prevalence of 17% (95% CI: 1–42%, I2 = 99%, p < 0.001) in the general population and 33% (95% CI: 19–48%, I2 = 99%, p < 0.001) in specific groups, such as postpartum women and those with low back pain. Significant risk factors included age, obesity, high parity, and chronic conditions like diabetes. Despite high heterogeneity, sensitivity analyses confirmed the robustness of these findings. Conclusions: The findings underscore the need for public health strategies focused on weight management, pelvic floor rehabilitation, and increased awareness about SUI. Effective preventive measures could significantly reduce the burden of SUI and improve the quality of life for women in Saudi Arabia.

Urinary and reproductive tract infection symptoms and menstrual hygiene practices in refugee camps in Jordan: A cross-sectional study

Abstract:Background: Urinary tract infections and reproductive tract infections pose significant health risks, particularly among women living in challenging conditions. Unhygienic menstrual practices can exacerbate these risks, impacting physical and psychological well-being. Objectives: This study assessed the association between unhygienic menstrual care and self-reported urinary tract infection/reproductive tract infection symptoms among refugee women. In addition, it explored the association between these symptoms and mental health, specifically depressive symptoms. Design: This study adopted a cross-sectional observational design. Methods: This study was conducted between January and March 2023, involving 387 reproductive-age refugee women. Data collected included sociodemographic information and urinary tract infection/reproductive tract infection symptoms. In addition, we used the Menstrual Practice Needs Scale to evaluate menstrual hygiene practices and the Patient Health Questionnaire-9 for depressive symptoms. Statistical analysis was performed using Python version 3.9.12. Results: Of 387 refugee women, 92.25% reported having urinary or reproductive tract infection symptoms in the previous 3 months. Factors like older age (odds ratio = 1.764, 95% confidence interval = 1.083-2.873, p-value = 0.023), lower family income (odds ratio = 0.327, 95% confidence interval = 0.138-0.775, p-value = 0.011), lower educational level (odds ratio = 0.222, 95% confidence interval = 0.068-0.718, p-value = 0.012), and being married (odds ratio = 0.328, 95% confidence interval = 0.188-0.574, p-value < 0.001) were significantly associated with urinary or reproductive tract infection risk. Difficulties obtaining menstrual products and thus reusing them increased the odds of urinary or reproductive tract infection diagnosis (odds ratio = 2.452, 95% confidence interval = 1.497-4.015, p-value < 0.001). Women with urinary or reproductive tract infection symptoms exhibited higher Patient Health Questionnaire-9 scores than those without (12.14 ± 5.87 vs 9.99 ± 5.86, p-value < 0.001, respectively). Conclusion: This study highlights a high prevalence of urinary or reproductive tract infection symptoms among refugee women residing in camps in Jordan, which was associated with poor menstrual hygiene practices and depressive symptoms. To reduce the urinary tract infection/reproductive tract infection burden in marginalized communities, public health initiatives should enhance healthcare accessibility, provide reproductive education, and promote holistic well-being practices for refugee women.

Abstract:Background: Stress urinary incontinence (SUI) is the most common urological problem among elderly women that negatively impacting the quality of their life. Aim of the study: Is toevaluate the effect of educational interventions on reducing stress urinary incontinence episodes among elderly women. Research design: Quasi- experimental research design was utilized. Subjects: A purposeful sample of (50) elderly women was selected. Setting: The study was conducted in Geriatric Nursing Home of Ministry of Social Solidarity and in Geriatric Club of The Red Crescent Society at Minia, Egypt. Tools of data collection: Two tools were utilized. First Tool: A Structured questionnaire sheet covered demographic characteristics and medical profile. Second Tool: Is Revised Urinary Incontinence Scale (RUIS).Results: The severity of stress urinary incontinence were declined after implementation of an educational intervention to 8% compared to 24% than before, with a highly statistically significant difference (p=.001). Additionally, there were highly statistically significant differences between (age, education, occupation, and place of residence) and the severity of (SUI). Conclusion: Applying an educational intervention was effective in reducing SUI episodes among elderly women. Recommendations: A continuous education and training should be offered on a regular basis for elderly women to reduce episodes of stress urinary incontinence.

Abstract:Objectives: Our study aimed to investigate the prevalence of female pelvic floor dysfunction (PFD) in Israeli women who experienced vaginal delivery and are in their reproductive years (premenopausal), as well as to understand their attitudes and health-seeking behavior and barriers towards treating this problem. Methods: In this cross-sectional study, we conducted a questionnaire-based Internet survey. The surveys were sent to Israeli women in their fertile years (18–50 years old). We asked the women about their PFD symptoms, attitudes, and help-seeking behaviors. We used two validated questionnaires, including the USIQ and the PFDI-20. The combined questionnaire was submitted in both Hebrew and Arabic. We assessed the prevalence of PFD symptoms in the study population. Symptomatic women were asked about their help-seeking behaviors and their beliefs, desires, and barriers regarding the clinical management of symptoms. Results: Between July and September 2020, 524 women completed the questionnaire (response rate 44%). In total, 95% reported at least one symptom (mostly urinary-related) at any grade of severeness in at least one category, and 66.8% suffered from at least one moderate to severe symptom in at least one category. Most women (93.7%) reported that they wanted to be asked and offered voluntary information about PFD from physicians and nurses; however, only 16.6% reported receiving such information. Barriers to seeking treatment were mainly related to low awareness. The study's main limitation was selection bias due to the questionnaire's design. Conclusions: These findings show the importance of raising awareness of the different therapeutic solutions to PFD symptoms and designing more available services for this common problem.

Abstract:We compute the Hall and diagonal resistivities of a two-dimensional electron gas in the presence of randomly placed magnetic-flux tubes. It is found that there is a suppression of the Hall conductance below its expected value for the corresponding uniform magnetic-field case at low electron densities, in agreement with recent experiments. At densities somewhat lower than achieved thus far experimentally, we find resonances in the transport coefficients due to Landau-level structure in the flux tubes. A classical calculation of the Hall resistance reproduces the broad features of the Hall conductance for integral or half-integral numbers of flux quanta in each flux tube.
The prevalence of overactive bladder and its impact on the quality of life: A cross-sectional study

Abstract:Overactive bladder (OAB) is a common condition affecting both men and women and has been shown to affect the quality of life. We conducted this study to estimate the prevalence of OAB, and to incorporate symptom severity, symptom bother and health-related quality of life (HRQL) in the assessment of OAB and evaluate associated factors. A total of 940 participants were categorized into non-OAB and OAB using the Overactive Bladder Symptom Score (OABSS). HRQL and symptom bother were measured using the Overactive Bladder Questionnaire – Short Form (OAB-q SF). Descriptive analyses and multivariable regression analyses were performed. The prevalence of OAB among our population was 27.4%. Patients with older age (Odd ratio [OR] = 2.26, 95% confidence interval [CI]: 1.6–3), higher body mass index (BMI) (OR = 2.6, 95% CI: 1.8–3.8), comorbidities (OR = 2.6, 95% CI: 1.9–3.5) and history of recurrent urinary tract infection (UTI) s (OR = 1.9, 95% CI: 1.4–2.6) were significantly associated with increased risk of OAB ( p < 0.001). The mean OAB symptom bothers score was 35.7 + 22.9 and increased significantly across OAB severity groups ( p < 0.001). The mean HRQL score was 73.3 + 22 and a significant decreased across OAB severity groups ( p < 0.001). All OAB symptoms showed significant positive correlation with increased symptom bother ( p < 0.001) in addition to significant inverse correlation with HRQL ( p < 0.001). OAB is a prevalent condition in our population and the associated symptoms negatively affect HRQL. In this study, the detrimental effect is not exclusive to UUI and can be attributed to the other elements in the symptom spectrum of OAB. Screening for OAB should be considered during routine clinical visits using validated and reliable measures for early detection of symptoms and possible modification of risk factors to improve the outcome.

Abstract:To evaluate the anticancer agent flavone acetic acid (FAA). we conducted a Phase I trial involving 17 pediatric patients with various malignant solid tumors. Dosages investigated included 5.120 and 6,144 mg/m2 given as 3-hour intravenous infusions: and 10.000. 12.500. 15.000. and 17.500 mg/m2 delivered in a 24-hour constant infusion with alkalinization. Grade 2 or worse toxicity was minimal, with 2 patients having nausea/vomiting, 2 having diarrhea. 1 becoming hypertensive, 1 becoming hypertensive, and 2 having myalgia. Three patients who received a 17.500 mg/m2 dose had no toxicity. Disease was stabilized for a brief period in 2 patients—1 with brain stem glioma and 1 with astrocytoma. The FAA pharmacokinetics varied with an average (SD) terminal half-life of 27.9 hr (18.7), clearance of 2.041/hr/m2 (0.37), and steadystate volume of 19.9 L/m2 (10.6). This study was discontinued because FAA caused no significant toxicity or therapeutic responses at doses 2.5 gm/m2 greater than had been tolerated by adults.
Prevalence and Risk Factors of Postpartum Depression in Palestinian Women in the Hebron Governorate, Palestine

Abstract:Background Despite the increased interest from researchers in Postpartum depression (PPD) globally, related studies are limited in Palestine and do not provide a comprehensive understanding of PPD. Objective We examined the factors that determine post-partum depression among Palestinian mothers in Hebron governorate. Methods A cross-sectional study was conducted in 122 governmental primary healthcare clinics in Hebron Governorate. A convenient sampling method was used to collect data from 435 using a self-administered questionnaire using the Edinburg Postnatal Depression Scale. Results The mean EPDS scale score was 10.56 (SD 5.273), and 36.1% had a score of ≥13, indicating moderate-to-severe depression symptoms. The study results revealed that psychosocial factors were significantly associated with PPDS and play a crucial role in the development of PPD, such as the history of depression, being exposed to domestic violence before and during pregnancy, poor husband support, unplanned pregnancy, fear of infant’s gender, and in addition to anemia than other factors. Conclusion A high prevalence of PPD was found among Palestinian women in this study. The study proposes screening women for trauma or domestic violence and assessing their social support, inquiring about pregnancy intention, and discussing family planning. Delivering iron supplements to pregnant or postpartum anemic women is important. Women who have a history of depression, domestic abuse, or lack social support should receive psychological and medical treatment. Mental health services must be included in the after-birth care protocol to train primary health clinic staff to recognize and treat PPD.

Abstract:Objective: This aims to explore the prevalence of obesity and overweight among Palestinian students in universities, and their relationship with sociodemographic factors, dietary habits, psychosocial factors, and physical activity level. Methods: A total sample of 1243 students, 772 (62.1%) females and 471 (37.9%) males, were included in the final analysis. The nutritional status was assessed using anthropometric measurements and dietary habits. Weight status was defined according to BMI WHO cut off points. Anxiety, stress, and depression were assessed using Arabic version of the Depression Anxiety Stress Scales. A short form of the Arabic version of IPAQ questionnaire was used to assess physical activity level. Results: The results revealed that obesity prevalence was 3.3% and overweight was 16.10% among the students. Obesity was significantly more common among males, and those who are studying scientific specialization. Weigh status was significantly related to anxiety (p<0.05). Among the psychosocial factors, students with normal weight had significantly higher anxiety scores than obese or overweight students (p<0.05). Obesity and overweight were significantly associated with lower self-satisfaction (P<0.05). Conclusion: The prevalence of obesity and overweight was low among the study sample. In spite of this, there is a need to promote intervention educational programs to improve their lifestyle in terms of physical activity and dietary habits.

Abstract:Background: Urinary incontinence (UI), defined as involuntary urinary dribble at rest or under slight stress, is prevalent among women, particularly those who are pregnant or have had vaginal deliveries. While various treatments, including medical and physical therapy, are available for UI, awareness and knowledge about these treatments among young females remain unclear. This study aims to evaluate the prevalence of UI and the knowledge of physical therapy treatment options among young females in Lahore. Objective: To determine the prevalence and knowledge of urinary incontinence and the awareness of physical therapy treatment among young females in Lahore. Methods: This cross-sectional study included 250 young females aged 16-35 years from Jinnah Hospital Lahore, Sheikh Zayed Hospital Lahore, Ittefaq Hospital Lahore, and General Hospital Lahore. Data were collected using a self-reported quantitative questionnaire, the "International Consultation on Incontinence Questionnaire – Short Form" (ICIQ-SF), which assessed awareness about UI and knowledge of treatment options. Participants were briefed on the questions to ensure accurate responses. Data were analyzed using IBM SPSS Statistics version 25, with results presented as frequencies and percentages. Results: The study involved 250 females with an age range of 16-35 years, of whom 156 (62.4%) were single, and 94 (37.6%) were married. Obstetric data revealed that 16 (6.4%) were nulliparous, 81 (32.4%) were multiparous, 53 (21.2%) had normal labor deliveries, 49 (19.6%) had cesarean section deliveries, and 5 (2.0%) had experienced episiotomy. UI prevalence was found in 83 (34%) participants, with 63 (25%) affected moderately and 24 (10%) severely. Regarding health knowledge, 121 (48.4%) had never heard of UI, and 142 (56.8%) did not know about the presence of medical treatment. Moreover, 196 (78.4%) were unaware of the availability of physiotherapy treatment for UI. Conclusion: The prevalence of UI among young females in Lahore was significant, but the knowledge about UI and its medical treatment was relatively low. Awareness of physiotherapy treatment options was particularly lacking. These findings highlight the need for enhanced educational efforts to improve the understanding and management of UI among this population.

Abstract:Background: Premenstrual syndrome (PMS) significantly impacts women's health and daily functioning. This study investigated the awareness and prevalence of PMS among women aged 15 to 40 in the Al Qassim region of Saudi Arabia. The study aimed to identify gaps in awareness and establish correlations between lifestyle choices and PMS severity. Methods: A cross-sectional study design was used, targeting 400 women selected through random sampling. Data were collected via an online self-assessment questionnaire covering socio-demographic characteristics, medical history, PMS diagnostic criteria, and awareness levels. Statistical analyses were conducted using the Statistical Package for Social Sciences, employing chi-square tests to explore relationships between variables. Results: The results showed no significant association between physical activity (χ2(1) = 0.48, p = 0.489), relaxation exercises (p = 0.615), and smoking (p = 1) with PMS symptoms. However, a significant association existed between depression and PMS symptoms (χ2(1) = 8.51, p = 0.004), underscoring the need for mental health interventions. Additionally, vitamin intake was significantly associated with menstrual cycle regularity, suggesting potential benefits of nutritional supplementation. These findings contributed to a deeper understanding of PMS in the context of Al Qassim's cultural and environmental factors, offering valuable insights for public health initiatives and healthcare providers in developing targeted treatment strategies for affected women. Conclusion: The study examined menstrual cycle regularity and PMS symptoms, exploring their relationships with lifestyle factors. The research investigated how smoking, depression, physical activity, relaxation, and vitamin intake impacted these reproductive health outcomes. Regular exercise and relaxation showed no significant effects, but there was a substantial correlation between depression and the severity of PMS symptoms.
An evaluation of lower urinary tract symptoms among patients with hypertension: A cross-sectional study

Abstract:Background: Hypertension (HTN) is a prevalent and impactful health concern associated with cardiovascular morbidity and mortality. This research delves into the intricate relationship between HTN and lower urinary tract symptoms (LUTS), acknowledging the multifaceted nature of these conditions and their potential impact on individuals' quality of life. Materials and methods: This cross-sectional study, conducted in Nablus, Palestine, employed convenient sampling to recruit hypertensive patients from the Ministry of Health clinics between September and December 2023. The inclusion criterion involved confirmed hypertensive patients, while the exclusion criterion included individuals with specific health conditions. The collected data included demographic, comorbidity, and lifestyle factor data. The study utilized the urogenital distress inventory 6 (UDI-6) and Incontinence Impact Questionnaire (IIQ)-7 short forms to assess urinary distress symptoms and the impact of urinary incontinence on quality of life. All the statistical analyses, including Pearson, Chi-square, Fisher's exact, Kruskal-Wallis, and Mann-Whitney tests, were performed with various tests for significance, and the significance level was set at P < 0.05. Results: Among the 351 participants meeting the inclusion criteria, females (62.1%) and married individuals (83.5%) were the predominant participants. The majority were aged 58-67 (42.5%), had a high school education (39.0%), and had a body mass index (BMI) of 30-34.9 (30.2%). Significant correlations were found between UDI-6 scores and sex, age, marital status, education level, employment status, and comorbidities. The IIQ-7 score was significantly correlated with female sex, marital status, age, comorbidities, duration of HTN, employment status, and education level. Both the UDI-6 and IIQ-7 scores revealed considerable impacts on urinary symptoms and quality of life. A significant negative correlation (r = -0.579) between the IIQ-7 score and UDI-6 score emphasized the interconnectedness of urinary distress symptoms and their impact on quality of life (P < 0.001). These findings underscore the multifaceted nature of LUTS and their profound effects on hypertensive patients' well-being. Conclusion: Our study revealed a significant association between HTN and LUTS, especially among females and specific demographic groups. This emphasizes the need for comprehensive management. The observed negative impact on quality of life emphasizes the significance of adopting holistic approaches to address both conditions.
