The genome sequence of the hawthorn leaf beetle, Lochmaea crataegi (Forster, 1771)

Abstract:We present a genome assembly from an individual male Lochmaea crataegi (the hawthorn leaf beetle; Arthropoda; Insecta; Coleoptera; Chrysomelidae). The genome sequence is 891.3 megabases in span. Most of the assembly is scaffolded into 16 chromosomal pseudomolecules, including the X and Y sex chromosomes. The mitochondrial genome has also been assembled and is 18.32 kilobases in length.
