Abstract:In this study, we isolated a novel polysaccharide, PKP2-1, from rhizomes of Polygonatum kingianum Coll. & Hemsl. for the first time, which was then successively purified through hot-water extraction, 80% alcohol precipitation, anion exchange and gel permeation chromatography. Monosaccharide composition assay revealed that PKP2-1 was mainly composed of glucose, galactose, mannose and glucuronic acid at an approximate molar ratio of 6:2:2:1. It had a molecular weight of approximately 17.34 kDa. Structural investigation revealed that the backbone of PKP2-1 consisted of →2, 3)-α-D-Galp(4→, →2)-α-D-Manp(3→, →2)-β-D-Glcp(4→ and α-D-Glcp(3→ residues with side chains →2)-β-D-Glcp(4→, →1)-α-D-Galp(4→ and α-D-Glcp(3→ branches located at O-3 position of →2, 3)-α-D-Galp(4→. The in vitro anti-inflammatory activity of PKP2-1 in MH7A cells was assessed using a CCK-8 kit assay, which showed that PKP2-1 could reduce the expression of IL-1β and IL-6, increase the expression of IL-10 and induce apoptosis of synovial fibroblasts, suggesting that PKP2-1 could inhibit MH7A cell growth and potentially be exploited as an anti-inflammatory agent.

Abstract:Polygonum multiflorum Thunb. (PM) and derived products are broadly utilized in Chinese traditional medicine. According to our previous research, PM mostly contains polysaccharides, which display a wide range of biological activities. Two water-soluble polysaccharides (PMPs-1 and PMPs-2) were obtained from PM by DEAE-Cellulose and Sephadex G-100 column chromatography. Colorimetry, HPGPC-MALLS-RID, HPLC-PDA, methylation, FT-IR, NMR, and SEM were used to characterize these polysaccharides. PMPs-1 and PMPs-2 had average molecular weights of 255.5 and 55.7 kDa, respectively. PMPs-1 consisted of Man, Glc, Gal, and Ara at 0.9:78.6:1.0:1.6 and was a glucan with → 4)-Glcp-(1 → as a backbone. Meanwhile, PMPs-2, an acidic polysaccharide, comprised Rha, GalA, Glc, Gal, and Ara at 3.2:20.3:2.7:1.0:8.3. PMPs-1 and PMPs-2 significantly improved the proliferation of RAW 264.7 cells and induced NO, TNF-α, and IL-6 release. This study reveals that these two polysaccharides can be explored as novel immunomodulators and provide a basis for further development of PM in food and pharmaceutical industries.

Abstract:Two purified polysaccharides named WPMP-1 and WPMP-2 were obtained from Polygonum multiflorum with an average molecular weight of 2.04kDa and 92.13kDa, respectively. Structural characterization revealed that WPMP-1was supposed to be a glucan composed of 1,4-linked α-d-Glcp, 1,4,6-linked α-d-Glcp, and terminal α-d-Glcp. WPMP-2 contained a complex branched structre formed by 1,2-linked α-d-Rhap, 1,2,4-linked α-d-Rhap, 1,3,5-linked α-l-Ara, 1,5- linked α-l-Araf, terminal α-l-Araf, 1,4-linked β-d-Galp, 1,4-linked α-d-GalpA, and 4-linked α-d-GalpA. In vitro, WPMPs were of activation effect on splenocyte and macrophages, and could also protect immunocyte against 5-Fu induced immunosupression by restoring the proliferation rate, phagocytic index and cytokines secretion level. Moreover, the acid polysaccharide WPMP-2 exhibited better immunomodulatory activity than neutral polysaccharide WPMP-1, which indicated that the immunomodulatory activity of WPMPs were positively associated with higher content of uronic acid, percentage of rhamnose, arabinose and galactose, and branching degree. These findings could promote the polysaccharides from Polygonum multiflorum to be attractive functional food supplement and immunomodulatory adjuvant.

Abstract:The rhizome of Polygonatum kingianum has been used as a traditional medicine in China. In this study, a novel polysaccharides (PKPs-1) was isolated from P. kingianum and characterized by its molecular weight, primary structure. The hypoglycemic activity of PKPs-1was investigated by in vitro assay with the HepG2 cell line and in vivo test using STZ-induced diabetic mice. Results showed that the average molecular weight of PKPs-1 was 14.05 kDa and is composed mainly of glucose and mannose. Methylation analysis indicated that this polysaccharides fraction consisted mainly of β1,2-link glucose. Besides, PKPs-1 exhibited significant anti-hyperglycemic activity on STZ-induced mice, improved insulin tolerance, and affected the metabolism of serum lipids. Results of real-time quantitative PCR (RT-PCR) showed that PKPs-1 significantly increased the expression of insulin receptor substrate-1 (IRS-1), phosphoinositide 3-kinase (PI3K) and protein kinase B (AKT), indicating that PKPs-1 regulates glucose metabolism by activating the PI3K/AKT signaling pathway. This study provides new insights for investigating the hypoglycemic effects of PKPs-1 and suggests that PKPs-1 could be a promising functional food or medicine for treating T2DM.

Abstract:Pteridium aquilinum (L.) Kuhn (Pteridaceae family) has been widely used as a food and medicine in China and Korea. Previous studies indicate that P. aquilinum contains a variety of bioactive chemical components such as flavonoids, phenols, terpenoids, saponins, polysaccharides, and so on. In the present study, a novel polysaccharide (named as PAP-3) with average molecular weight of 2.14 Chi 10(5) Da was obtained from P. aquilinum. The structure was studied through physicochemical and spectroscopic analysis. The results indicated that PAP-3 consists of arabinose, rhamnose, fucose, galactose, mannose, and xylose in a molar ratio of 1.58:1.00:3.26:4.57:4.81:3.33. The polysaccharide is mainly composed of (1 -> 2)-linked xylose and (1 -> 3,6)-linked mannose on the main chain, with (1 -> 2)-linked xylose, (1 -> 6)-linked mannose, and (1 -> 6)- and (1 -> 3,6)-linked galactose as side chains. Galactose, fucose, and xylose are located at the end of the side chains. The in vitro immunomodulatory and antioxidant activities were assayed. PAP-3 has strong free-radical scavenging activity on DPPH and ABTS radicals and significant immunomodulatory activity on RAW264.7 cells. These data provide useful information for further study on the polysaccharides of P. aquilinum and their applications in the food and medical industries.

Abstract:The purpose of this study was to study polysaccharides isolated from Polygonatum sibiricum to establish the structure-activity relationships of the active substances and to discover the optimal fraction for further development and application. Four polysaccharides fractions (PSP1, PSP2, PSP3 and PSP4) from P. sibiricum were obtained by DEAE-Sepharose Fast Flow ion-exchange chromatography. Acid hydrolysis and FT-IR spectral and NMR spectral analyses were employed for structural analysis. Our results illustrated that PSP with different chemical structure and monosaccharide composition showed different abilities to activate phagocytic activity in vitro. According to the preliminary screening results in vitro, the newly identified water-soluble polysaccharides of PSP3 were selected for further evaluation in vivo. The results demonstrated that PSP3 possessed an immunomodulatory function and could be regarded as a promising candidate as an immunomodulator.

Abstract:Polysaccharides coded as CP were extracted from Athyrium Multidentatum (Doll.) Ching and then fractionated into five fractions (FP-1, FP-2, FP-3, FP-4 and FP-5). A purified polysaccharide designated as FP-3-4 was prepared from FP-3 by Sephadex G-100 column chromatography. Chemical analysis disclosed that CP and these fractions were heteropolysaccharides and mainly composed of glucose, galactose, arabinose, mannose, rhamnose, xylose, fucose, ribose and uronic acid with different molar ratios. They presented different images of SEM. FP-3-4 was highly branched polymers with sixteen types of linkages. The in vitro immunomodulatory results stated that CP and these fractions could promote macrophage proliferation, enhance macrophage phagocytosis and increase the production of NO, TNF-α, IFN-γ, IL-1β, IL-6, IL-10 and IL-2, indicating remarkable immune enhancement activities. RNA sequencing analysis revealed that CP and FP-3 induced macrophage activation mainly through MAPK and alternative NF-κΒ signaling pathways via CD14/TLR4 and Dectin-2 receptors, which were verified by RT-qPCR and western blot.

Abstract:A neutral Polygonatum cyrtonema polysaccharide (NPCP) was isolated and purified from Polygonatum cyrtonema by various chromatographic techniques, including DEAE-52 and Sephadex-G100 chromatography. The structure of NPCP was characterized by HPLC, HPGPC, GC-MS, FT-IR, NMR, and SEM. Results showed that NPCP is composed of glucose (55.4%) and galactose (44.6%) with a molecular weight of 3.2 kDa, and the sugar chain of NPCP was →1)-α-D-Glc-(4→1)-β-D-Gal-(3→. In vitro bioactivity experiments demonstrated that NPCP significantly enhanced macrophages proliferation and phagocytosis while inhibiting the M1 polarization induced by LPS as well as the M2 polarization induced by IL-4 and IL-13 in macrophages. Additionally, NPCP suppressed the secretion of IL-6 and TNF-α in both M1 and M2 cells but promoted the secretion of IL-10. These results suggest that NPCP could serve as an immunomodulatory agent with potential applications in anti-inflammatory therapy.

Abstract:Ethnopharmacological relevance As a commonly used traditional Chinese herbal medicine, Polygonati Rhizoma has high medicinal value, it can enhance the immune capacity of the body, regulate the metabolism of blood glucose and lipids, treat weakness of the stomach and intestines and physical fatigue, and so on. There are three plant varieties of Polygonati Rhizoma recorded in Chinese Pharmacopoeia , including Polygonatum sibiricum Red., Polygonatum kingianum Coll. et Hemsl. and Polygonatum cyrtonema Hua, compared with the first two, Polygonatum cyrtonema Hua is less studied. Polygonatum cyrtonema Hua is one of the basal plants of the Chinese herb Polygonati Rhizoma , that strengthens the spleen, moistens the lungs, and benefits the kidneys. Polygonatum polysaccharide is the main active substance of Polygonatum cyrtonema Hua, which has various biological effects of regulating immune system, anti-inflammatory, anti-antidepressant, antioxidant and other effects. Aim of the study In order to analyze the necessity and scientificity of multiple cycles of steaming during the traditional nine-steaming and nine-drying process of the concoction of Polygonatum , we investigated the changes in the composition and structure of polysaccharides, and explored its immunomodulatory activity and molecular biological mechanism. Methods The structural characterization and molecular weight of polysaccharides were studied by scanning electron microscope (SEM), high-performance size exclusion chromatography-evaporative light scattering detector (HPSEC-ELSD) and Matrix.assisted laser resolutionu ionization time-of-flight mass spectrometry (MALDI-TOF-MS). The composition and proportion of monosaccharides were determined by PMP-HPLC method. A mouse immunosuppression model was established by intraperitoneal injection of cyclophosphamide to compare the immunomodulatory effects and mechanisms of different steaming times of Polygonatum , The changes of body mass and immune organ indices of mice were measured; the secretion levels of interleukin-2 (IL-2), interferon γ (IFN-γ) and the expression levels of immunoglobulin M (IgM) and immunoglobulin A (IgA) in serum were determined by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay; and then flow cytometry was used to detect T-lymphocyte subpopulations to evaluate the differences of immunomodulatory effects of polysaccharides during the processing and preparation of Polygonatum . Finally, the Illumina MiSeq high-throughput sequencing platform was used to analyze short-chain fatty acids and to investigate the effects of different steaming times of Polygonatum polysaccharides on immune function and intestinal flora in immunosuppressed mice. Results The structure of the Polygonatum polysaccharide with different steaming times changed significantly, the relative molecular weight of Polygonatum polysaccharide decreased significantly, and the monosaccharide composition of Polygonatum cyrtonema Hua with different steaming times was the same but the content was different. The immunomodulatory activity of the Polygonatum polysaccharide was enhanced after concoction, which significantly increased the spleen index and thymus index, and increased the expression of IL-2, IFN-γ, IgA and IgM. The CD4+/CD8+ ratio of Polygonatum polysaccharide also increased gradually with different steaming times, indicating enhanced immune function and significant immunomodulatory effect. The content of short-chain fatty acids in the feces of mice in both six steaming six sun-drying of Polygonatum polysaccharides (SYWPP) and nine steaming nine sun-drying of Polygonatum polysaccharides (NYWPP) groups increased significantly, including the content of propionic acid, isobutyric acid, valeric acid, and isovaleric acid, and also had a good effect on the regulation and improvement of microbial community abundance and diversity, SYWPP and NYWPP increased the relative abundance of Bacteroides and the ratio of Bacteroides and Firmicutes (B:F), while SYWPP significantly increased the abundance of Bacteroides, Alistipes and norank_f__Lachnospiraceae, but the effect of raw Polygonatum polysaccharides (RPP) and NYWPP was not significant than SYWPP. Conclusion Overall, both SYWPP and NYWPP could significantly enhance the immune activity of the organism, improve the imbalance of intestinal flora in immunosuppressed mice, and increase the content of intestinal short chain fatty acids (SCFAs), it is noteworthy th -Abstract Truncated-

Abstract:Introduction: Polysaccharides are important components of Panax notoginseng that contribute to its immunomodulatory ability. This study aimed to isolate polysaccharides from notoginseng and investigate the structural feature and potential immunomodulatory activity. Methods: The polysaccharide was isolated from notoginseng by anion exchange and gel permeation chromatography. Its preliminary structure was characterized by Fourier transform infrared (FT-IR) spectroscopy, gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS) and nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy. The immunoregulatory function was further investigated in cyclophosphamide induced immunosuppressive mice, murine splenocytes and macrophages. Results: A novel homogeneous polysaccharide (PNPB1) was isolated from notoginseng with the molecular weight of 9.3 × 10 5 Da. Monosaccharide composition analysis indicated that PNPB1 consisted of Glc (88.2%), Gal (9.0%), Ara (2.4%) and trace GlcA, with the major backbone of (1→4)-linked α-Glcp, (1→6)-linked β-Glcp, and (1, 4→6)-linked β-Glcp. The polysaccharide was found to significantly enhance murine body weight, improve their thymus and spleen indices and increase the white blood cells (WBC). PNPB1 significantly enhanced splenic lymphocyte proliferation, NO and cytokine (TNF-α, IL-2, IL-10 and IFN-γ) production, as well as the phagocytosis and TLR2 expression of peritoneal macrophages, indicating potent immunoenhancement effect. Discussion: These findings provide a theoretical basis for elucidating the structure and immune activity of notoginseng polysaccharides.

Abstract:Objective:to investigate the structure and in vitro immunomodulatory activity of polysaccharides from bamboo shavings (BSP).Methods:the structure was analyzed by the methods of methylation and nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy;the in vitro immunomodulatory activity was evaluated by the assays of mouse splenic lymphocyte proliferation,the phagocytosis of neutral red and NO secretion of RAW264.7 cell.Results:BSP was O-acetyl-(4-O-methylglucurono)-arabinoxylans consisting of a linear (l→4)-β-D-xylopyranosyl backbone decorated with branches at O-2 of 4-O-methylglucuronic acid units and acetyl groups or O-3 of α-L-arabinofuranosyl and acetyl groups.The structural element could be expressed as below:1,4-β-D-[2-O-Ac][3-O-Ac][4-O-Me-D-GlcpA-(1→2)][α-L-Araf-(1→3)]-xylp;BSP could evidently strengthen concanavalin A or lipopolysaccharide-induced splenic lymphocyte proliferation at 10-100μg/mL;BSP could significantly enhance the phagocytosis activity and NO production of RAW264.7 cell at 10-1 000 μg/mL in a dose-dependent manner.Conclusion:BSP exhibits excellent immunostimulatory activity in vitro,and can be considered as an ideal source of bio-active polysaccharides due to the abundance of its raw material.

Abstract:The genus Polygonatum, a well-known homology plant of medicine and food, has confirmed several biological activities and great market utilization value. A growing number of researches have shown that polysaccharides are one of the primary bioactive components of the Polygonatum spp. and present multiple biological activities both in vitro and in vivo methods, such as antioxidant activity, immunity enhancement effect, anti-inflammatory effect, anti-osteoporosis effect, and treatment of diabetes mellitus. This review summarizes the available information on the approaches used for GPPs extraction, purification, and structural characterization, and discusses the diverse biological activities of GPPs to support their potential application value in the functional foods, pharmaceuticals field, and cosmetics areas. New valuable insights for future research regarding GPPs were also proposed in the fields of the natural production of bio-based functional materials, functional foods, and therapeutic agents.

Abstract:Polygonati rhizoma (PR), a traditional medical and edible product, is rich in polysaccharides and exhibits physiological activity, including antioxidant, hypoglycemic and hypolipidemic properties. Neutral polysaccharides have been reported to be one of the main active ingredients of Polygonatum, with many of these fractions being responsible for the biological activity. This behavior was shown to be closely connected to the chemical structure, monosaccharide composition, and glycosidic bond type. There are few reports on the chemical constituents of the neutral polysaccharides from different sources of PR. In this study, neutral polysaccharides of PR from four different regions of China (Chun'an (Zhejiang), Xixia (Henan), Danfeng (Shanxi), and Pan'an (Zhejiang)), named CAZJ, XXHN, DFSX, and PAZJ, respectively, were isolated by anion‐exchange and gel‐permeation chromatography. Structures of the four polysaccharides were investigated. The results showed that all of them were mainly glucose and mannose, while the monosaccharide composition and content of polysaccharides from different sources varied. The molecular weights of CAZJ, XXHN, DFSX, and PAZJ were 14.119, 22.352, 18.127, and 15.699 kDa, respectively. Infrared spectra illustrated the existence of α‐glycosidic bond and β‐glycosidic bond in the polysaccharides. CAZJ, XXHN, and DFSX possessed a pyranose ring structure, whereas PAZJ had a furanose ring structure. Congo red test indicated that XXHN, DFSX, and PAZJ had a triple‐helix structure. X‐ray diffraction showed that the polysaccharides consisted of crystalline and amorphous regions. All four polysaccharides exhibited different degrees of antioxidant and hypoglycemic activities with a dose‐dependent manner in the 1.0–10.0 mg/mL concentration range. Correlation analysis revealed that the bioactivities of polysaccharides was significantly related to monosaccharide composition, uronic acid, and protein content. The results suggested that neutral polysaccharides could be used as potential natural antioxidants and hypoglycemic agents for functional and nutraceutical applications.

Abstract:The structural characteristics, acetylcholinesterase inhibitory activity, and immune effects of two purified acid polysaccharides from Chrysanthemum morifolium cv. Gongju were investigated. GJP-1 and GJP-2 were isolated and purified using DEAE-sepharose and Sephadex G-100 chromatography. GJP-1 consisted of Man, Rha, Ara, Glc, Gal, and GalA, with a ratio of 1.99:3.98:81.2:2.65:7.03:3.15, while GJP-2 comprised of Man, Rha, Ara, Glc, Gal, and GalA in a ratio of 0.27:2.36:8.03:38.44:2.38:48.52. GJP-2 is a kind of pectin-type polysaccharide. GJP-1 and GJP-2 differed in average molecular weight of 5.86 kDa and 4.92 kDa. The results indicated that GJP-1 and GJP-2 significantly inhibited the activity of acetylcholinesterase and had good immunomodulatory activities. GJP-1 and GJP-2 are bioactive polysaccharides with the potential to improve cognitive function. GJP-2 promoted more proliferation, as well as the release of tumor necrosis factor-α and interferon γ. Clarifying the structures and bioactivities of polysaccharides could lay a foundation for the application of Gongju in functional foods and medicines production.
Purification, antioxidant activity and antiglycation of polysaccharides from Polygonum multiflorum Thunb

Abstract:Polysaccharides, one of the most important constituents in Polygonum multiflorum Thunb, a famous Chinese medicinal herb, were isolated by DEAE-52, Sepharose 4B and Sephacryl S-300 column chromatography. Two polysaccharides (PMP-1 and PMP-2) were identified as homogeneous in molecular weight with HPLC. The molecular weights were 4.8 × 10(2) and 6.1 × 10(2) kDa, respectively. Antioxidant activity tests were performed with two polysaccharides at concentrations of 0.1-1.5mg/mL. The results indicated that the inhibitory activity on oxidation and glycation exhibited a dose-dependent response. PMP-2 exhibited a much stronger antioxidant capacity against free radical, lipid oxidation and protein glycation. The IC₅₀ values of PMP-2 were 0.47, 0.6 and 0.93 mg/mL for superoxide anion scavenging, hydroxyl radical scavenging, and hydroxyl peroxide scavenging, respectively. The inhibitory ability of PMP-2 on lipid oxidation was most markedly in rat liver, followed by heart and kidney. Meanwhile, PMP-2 also showed satisfactory suppression of AGEs formation. This suggested that the polysaccharides present in PM can contribute to the biological effects.

Abstract:Three water-soluble polysaccharides (AMAP-1, AMAP-2 and AMAP-3) were isolated and purified from Atractylodis Macrocephalae Rhizoma by using the combination of ion-exchange chromatography and gel permeation chromatography. The structures of the polysaccharides were characterized by chemical derivatization, HPGC, GC–MS, FT–IR, and NMR techniques. Structural analyses show that the three polysaccharides are pectin-type macromolecules consisting of homogalacturonan (HG) and rhamnogalacturonan type I (RG-I) regions in different ratios. Immunostimulatory assay highlighted that the RG-I-rich AMAP-1 and AMAP-2 with high molecular weights can stimulate RAW264.7 macrophages to release nitric oxide, but HG-rich AMAP-3 with a low molecular weight cannot. This finding suggests that the immune activity may be related to the side chains of the RG-I region, which provides a certain theoretical guidance for further exploring the structure–activity relationship. Meanwhile, AMAP-1 and AMAP-2, especially AMAP-2, from Atractylodis Macrocephalae Rhizoma show potential as immune adjuvants.

Abstract:Polygonatum sibiricum Red., a kind of edible and medicinal plant, has a long history of use in traditional Chinese medicine and as a nutritional food additive. Water-soluble crude polysaccharide (PS50) was obtained from P. sibiricum rhizome. After deproteinization and dialysis, PS50 was isolated and purified via DEAE-52 cellulose and Sephadex G-75 gel filtration chromatography to obtain two novel polysaccharides (PSP50-2-1 and PSP50-2-2). Chemical analysis and nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) studies indicated that PSP50-2-1 was composed of β-d-Glcp-(1→, →2)-β-d-Galp-(1→, →2,6)-β-d-Galp-(1→, β-d-Fruf-(2→, and PSP50-2-2 was composed of β-d-Glcp-(1→, β-d-Galp-(1→, →2)-β-d-Galp-(1→, →6)-β-d-Galp-(1→, →2,6)-β-d-Galp-(1→, β-d-Fruf-(2→. The morphological analysis suggested that PSP50-2-1 and PSP50-2-2 both had a rough surface with cracks. Pharmacological studies showed that PSP50-2-2 at concentrations of 2.59 and 5.19 μM significantly promoted the differentiation and mineralization of MC3T3-E1 cells in vitro, which indicated that PSP50-2-2 had a function of osteogenic activity. Above all, this study provides evidence that PSP50-2-2 may be used as an anti-osteoporotic agent, with applications in health-care and pharmaceutical industries.

Structural characterization and mechanisms of macrophage immunomodulatory activity of a novel polysaccharide with a galactose backbone from the processed Polygonati Rhizoma

Abstract:A purified polysaccharide with a galactose backbone (SPR-1, Mw 3,622 Da) was isolated from processed Polygonati Rhizoma with black beans (PRWB) and characterized its chemical properties. The backbone of SPR-1 consisted of [(4)-β-D-Galp-(1]9 → 4,6)-β-D-Galp-(1 → 4)-α-D-GalpA-(1 → 4)-α-D-GalpA-(1 → 4)-α-D-Glcp-(1 → 4,6)-α-D-Glcp-(1 → 4)-α/β-D-Glcp, with a branch chain of R1: β-D-Galp-(1 → 3)-β-D-Galp-(1→ connected to the →4,6)-β-D-Galp-(1→ via O-6, and a branch chain of R2: α-D-Glcp-(1 → 6)-α-D-Glcp-(1→ connected to the →4,6)-α-D-Glcp-(1→ via O-6. Immunomodulatory assays showed that the SPR-1 significantly activated macrophages, and increased secretion of NO and cytokines (i.e., IL-1β and TNF-α), as well as promoted the phagocytic activities of cells. Furthermore, isothermal titration calorimetry (ITC) analysis and molecular docking results indicated high-affinity binding between SPR-1 and MD2 with the equilibrium dissociation constant (K D) of 18.8 μM. It was suggested that SPR-1 activated the immune response through Toll-like receptor 4 (TLR4) signaling and downstream responses. Our research demonstrated that the SPR-1 has a promising candidate from PRWB for the TLR4 agonist to induce immune response, and also provided an easily accessible way that can be used for PR deep processing.
