Abstract:This paper explores the complex interplay between topological indices and structural patterns in networks of iron telluride ( FeTe ). We want to analyses and characterize the distinct topological features of ( FeTe ) by utilizing an extensive set of topological indices. We investigate the relationship that these indicators have with the network's physical characteristics by employing sophisticated statistical techniques and curve fitting models. Our results show important trends that contribute to our knowledge of the architecture of the ( FeTe ) network and shed light on its physiochemical properties. This study advances the area of material science by providing a solid foundation for using topological indices to predict and analyses the behavior of intricate network systems. More preciously, we study the topological indices of iron telluride networks, an artificial substance widely used with unique properties due to its crystal structure. We construct a series of topological indices for iron telluride networks with exact mathematical analysis and determine their distributions and correlations using statistical methods. Our results reveal significant patterns and trends in the network structure when the number of constituent atoms increases. These results shed new light on the fundamental factors that influence material behavior, thus offering a deeper understanding of the iron telluride network and may contribute to future research and engineering of these materials.

Abstract:In this study, we conduct a comprehensive physical analysis of topological indices for the Iron Disulfide (FeS ) network using a curve-fitting model. Iron Disulfide is a cubic compound. In metamorphic rock, sedimentary rock, and quartz veins, it is typically found in combination with other sulfides or oxides. The numerical properties of molecular structures are referred to as topological indices. There are several different kinds of topological indices, including those that are based on distance, degree, or counting, among other factors. The real process of creating a topological index involves turning a chemical structure into a numerical value. In this paper, we calculate the iron disulfide network topological indices using the degrees of vertices in a chemical network of Iron Disulfide (FeS ). Thereafter, we discovered the physical parameters of FeS production, such as heat of formation. We then fitted curves between the thermodynamic properties and several indices. Several techniques based on rationality, linearity, and nonlinearity were used to fit curves in MATLAB. These quantitative results imply that a variety of thermodynamic characteristics of semiconducting materials may be accurately predicted by topological indices. These findings have significant ramifications as they provide the groundwork for the application of topological indices in semiconducting network design and optimization, which might result in more effective and economical material creation.

These TIs serve as indispensable molecular descriptors for assessing chemical compound characteristics. This manuscript aims to meticulously compute a spectrum of TIs for silicon carbide S i C 4 - I [ r , s ] , with a specific focus on the ε ν -degree Zagreb index, the ν ε -degree Geometric-Arithmetic index, the ε ν -degree Randić index, the ν ε -degree Atom-bond connectivity index, the ν ε -degree Harmonic index, and the ν ε -degree Sum connectivity index. This study contributes to the ongoing advancement of graph theory applications in chemical compound analysis, elucidating the nuanced structural properties inherent in silicon carbide molecules.

Abstract:Topological descriptors are widely utilized as graph theoretical measures for evaluating the physicochemical properties of organic frameworks by examining their molecular structures. Our current research validates the usage of topological descriptors in studying frameworks such as metal-butylated hydroxytoluene, NH-substituted coronene transition metal, transition metal-phthalocyanine, and conductive metal-octa amino phthalocyanine. These metal organic frameworks are crucial in nanoscale research for their porosity, adaptability, and conductivity, making them essential for advanced materials and modern technology. In this study, we provide the topological and entropy characterizations of these frameworks by employing robust reverse degree based descriptors, which offer insightful information on structural complexities. This structural information is applied to predict the graph energy of the considered metal organic frameworks using statistical regression models.

Abstract:Chemical graph theory, a subfield of graph theory, is used to investigate chemical substances and their characteristics. Chemical graph analysis sheds light on the connection, symmetry, and reactivity of molecules. It supports chemical property prediction, research of molecular reactions, drug development, and understanding of molecular networks. A crucial part of computational chemistry is chemical graph theory, which helps researchers analyze and manipulate chemical structures using graph algorithms and mathematical models. Beryllonitrene , a compound of interest due to its potential applications in various fields, is examined through the lens of graph theory and mathematical modeling. The study involves the calculation and interpretation of topological indices and graph entropy measures, which provide valuable insights into the structural and energetic properties of Beryllonitrene's molecular graph. Logarithmic regression models are employed to establish correlations between these indices, entropy, and other relevant molecular attributes. The results contribute to a deeper understanding of Beryllonitrene's complex characteristics, facilitating its potential applications in diverse scientific and technological domains. Abstract:Due to its metal-free and visible-light responsive nature, as well as attractive electrical band structure and excellent physicochemical stability, graphitic carbon nitride has become a new multidisciplinary research hot point. In the field of environmental remediation and energy applications, this interesting semiconductor conjugated polymer is regarded as a viable material for capturing clean and unlimited solar energy. We Used information entropy introduced by Shannon to measure the complexity of the underlying graph. Configuration entropy of glass-forming liquids or thermodynamic entropy of enzyme-substrate complexations are examples of thermodynamic entropy used in molecular dynamics investigations on complex chemical systems.In this article, we computed some degree-based entropies calculated from topological indices. The numerical and graphical depiction of computed results was combined with curve fitting between calculated information entropies and topological indices. The underlying framework is built on topological indices, which provide a full picture of potentially important features that could be beneficial in structural modification of (g-C3N4) for certain applications.

Abstract:In QSAR/QSPR study, physico-chemical properties and topological indices such as Randić, atom-bond connectivity (ABC) and geometric-arithmetic (GA) index are used to predict the bioactivity of chemical compounds. A topological index is actually designed by transforming a chemical structure into a numeric number. These topological indices correlate certain physico-chemical properties like boiling point, stability, strain energy etc of chemical compounds. Graph theory has found a considerable use in this area of research.The topological properties of certain networks are studied recently in [13] by Hayat and Imran (2014). In this paper, we extend this study to interconnection networks and derive analytical closed results of general Randić index Rα(G) for different values of “α” for butterfly and Benes networks. We also compute first Zagreb, ABC, and GA indices for these important classes of networks. Moreover, we construct two new classes of mesh derived networks by using some basic operations of graphs on m×n mesh networks, and then study certain topological indices for these classes of networks.

Abstract:A topological index (TI) is a numeric digit that signalizes the whole chemical structure of a molecular network. TIs are helpful in predicting the bioactivity of molecular substances in investigations of quantitative structure-activity relationship (QSAR) and quantitative structure-property relationship (QSPR). TIs correlate various chemical and physical attributes of chemical substances such as melting and freezing point, strain energy, stability, temperature, volume, density, and pressure. There are several distance-based descriptors available in the literature, but connection-based TIs are considered more effective than degree-based TIs in measuring the chemical characteristics of molecular compounds. The present study focuses on computing the connection-based TIs for the most significant type of chemical structures, namely, rhombus silicate and rhombus oxide networks. At the end, we compare these structures on the basis of their computed result.

Abstract:Abstract The diverse applications of various carbon nanostructures have sparked significant research interest. The potential significance of carbon nanosheets lies in their exceptional mechanical, electrical, and thermal properties, enabling advancements in various technological applications such as energy storage, electronics, and engineering, playing important roles in material science and nanotechnology. In the field of mathematical chemistry, topological indices play a crucial role by providing numerical insights into molecular structures. These insights facilitate predictive correlations with chemical properties and reactivity, ultimately finding utility in areas like drug design and material sciences. Expanding on this, the study delves into the application of entropy‐based methodologies that originates from the arrangement of chemical structures. By assessing the complexity and other features of these structures, graph entropies are translated into information‐theoretic metrics. This article examines modified reverse degree‐based topological indices with its universal applicability to all degree‐based indices. The standout feature is the adaptable parameter “” effectively shaping the molecular graphs degree sequence to best fit each dataset with their unique physicochemical properties, distinguishing it from conventional fixed degree methodologies. Additionally, we investigate graph entropies and examine the impact of varying the parameter “” on entropy measures across a range of nanosheet structures. The research focuses on characterizing carbon nanosheets, employing effective (MCDM) multiple criteria decision‐making methods like VIKOR, TOPSIS, and SAW. Through these techniques, a comprehensive comparative analysis of the nanosheets is conducted with the aim of establishing optimized rankings for each type based on their unique attributes and characteristics.

Abstract:One of the most important fields in current materials research is the examination of materials through the prism of topological indices. An extensive statistical investigation of topological indices relevant to the characterization of copper(II) fluoride is presented in this paper. Our goal is to use the well-understood structural features of copper(II) fluoride, a chemical that is well known for its crystalline qualities, to uncover a variety of properties inherent in its network. This work makes use of the structural information available for copper(II) fluoride. After a thorough computational investigation, a rigorous statistical analysis is conducted to determine the distributions and correlations between heat of formation and the different topological indices. The findings reveal significant patterns and trends in the copper(II) fluoride network structure, providing insights into the underlying principles governing its material behavior.

A network can be defined as a graph where nodes and / or margins have attributes (e.g. words). Topological index of a graph is a number that helps to understand its topology and a topological index is known as irregularity index if it is greater than zero and topological index of graph is equal to zero if and only if graph is regular. Abstract:There are various topological indices for example distance based topological indices and degree based topological indices etc. In QSAR/QSPR study, physiochemical properties and topological indices for example atom bond connectivity index, fourth atom bond connectivity index, Randic connectivity index, sum connectivity index, and so forth are used to characterize the chemical compound. In this paper we computed the edge version of atom bond connectivity index, fourth atom bond connectivity index, Randic connectivity index, sum connectivity index, geometric-arithmetic index and fifth geometric-arithmetic index of Double-wheel graph and Hanoi graph. The results are analyzed and the general formulas are derived for the above mentioned families of graphs.

Abstract:Chemical graph theory (CGT) is a field of mathematical chemistry focused on the study of molecules by applying classic graph theory. CGT studies molecules as graphs in which atoms are assumed to be vertices and bonds are taken as edges of graphs. In CGT, topological descriptors predict the physical and chemical properties of any molecular structure. In this paper, we computed some novel topological descriptors viz. Modified version of the Second Zagreb index, Hyper index, Randić index, Modified version of the Forgotten topological index and redefined third Zagreb index for cerium oxide nanostructures ( ) with unit cell and layers. Based on the derived formulas, we compared the numerical results and physio-chemical properties of the under study .

Abstract:Nanostructures have sparked notable interest in materials science due to their diverse applications, especially carbon nanosheets with pentagonal–heptagonal variations have emerged as subjects of intense scientific investigation. These nanostructures show great potential in a wide range of fields, including energy storage, optoelectronics, catalysis, and bioelectronics, thereby making substantial contributions to nanotechnology and material science. Topological indices hold a pivotal position in the domain of mathematical and computational chemistry providing numerical information about molecular structures. This information is instrumental in establishing predictive relationships with chemical and physical properties, finding applications across various fields such as drug development and materials science. This paper introduces a novel generalized version of reverse degree-sum based topological indices that effectively shaping the degree sequence of nanomaterials to fit the physical and chemical properties of dataset, differentiating it from conventional fixed-degree methods. Consequently, we explore entropy-based methodologies to compare the structural complexities of pent-heptagonal nanosheets. Furthermore, our study predicts the graph energies of these nanosheets via linear regression equations, comparing them with energy values predicted by the McClelland equation.

Abstract:In chemical graph theory, a topological index is a numerical representation of a chemical network while a topological descriptor correlates certain physico-chemical characteristics of underlying chemical compounds besides its chemical representation. Graph plays an vital role in modeling and designing any chemical network. F. Simonraj et al. derived new third type of Hex derived networks [27]. In our work, we discuss the third type of hex derived networks HDN3(r), THDN3(r) and RHDN3(r) and computed exact results for topological indices which are based on degrees of end vertices.
