Sialadenitis in Antineutrophil Cytoplasmic Antibodies Vasculitis

Abstract:Granulomatosis with polyangiitis (GPA) is a pauci-immune vasculitis typically involving upper and lower respiratory tract involvement and crescentic glomerulonephritis. Salivary gland involvement in GPA is rare. When it occurs in GPA, it is commonly seen with sinonasal and lung involvement and rarely with renal involvement. Easy accessibility of salivary glands allows early biopsy and timely treatment. In our case with GPA, salivary gland involvement was unresponsive to cyclophosphamide but remitted with rituximab.
