Abstract:Lymphoma arises from mature B, T, and natural killer (NK) cells. Lymphomas are classified into Hodgkin's lymphoma (HL) and non-Hodgkin's lymphoma (NHL). Diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL) is a type of NHL. It can present with symptoms such as fever, chills, or night sweats, as well as symptoms due to extranodal involvement. Extranodal sites can include the gastrointestinal tract or renal involvement. A higher risk of developing diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL) is seen in patients with congenital or acquired immunodeficiency, those on immunosuppression, and those with autoimmune disorders. In this case report, we present a case of pericardial effusion that, upon further evaluation, was diagnosed as diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL). A 64-year-old male presented with complaints of retrosternal chest pain that progressed from New York Heart Association (NYHA) Grade II to IV over a month. The chest pain was moderate intensity, dull aching, and non-radiating. It was associated with orthopnea, paroxysmal nocturnal dyspnea, and anasarca. A chest X-ray (posteroanterior {PA} view) showed cardiomegaly with an increased cardiothoracic ratio, mediastinal widening, and pulmonary congestion. Echocardiography revealed moderate non-tappable pericardial effusion. A high-resolution computed tomography (HRCT) chest scan showed moderate pericardial effusion and a homogeneous enhancing mass in the left anterior superior mediastinum. A computed tomography (CT)-guided biopsy was performed to check for lymphoma, thymoma, or tuberculosis. The patient was diagnosed with diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL). Owing to the diverse manifestations of diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL), prompt diagnosis is required for controlling disease progression.
Diffuse Large B-cell Lymphoma Presenting as a Cardiac Mass

Abstract:Cardiac involvement as the initial presentation of lymphoma is a rare occurrence. The most common type of cardiac lymphoma is diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL), which often affects the right atrium. Cardiac lymphoma can either be mediastinal DLBCL invading the heart or primary cardiac lymphoma. We describe the case of an 84-year-old female who presented with an eight-week history of dyspnea. Computed tomography angiography (CTA) of the chest showed a right-sided pleural effusion with collapse of the right middle and lower lobes as well as a large mass-like density within the anterior pericardium, compressing the right atrium and right ventricle and encasing the right coronary artery. A transthoracic echocardiogram (TTE) showed a multilocular hypoechoic mass in the right atrium with invasion into the wall of the right atrium. The patient underwent diagnostic and therapeutic thoracentesis. Pleural fluid cytology revealed diffuse large B-cell lymphoma, with positive stains for CD20, PAX5, CD10, BCL6, and Mum-1. Fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH) revealed an abnormality of BCL2/18q (16%). A staging positron emission tomography (PET) scan showed a large mediastinal mass involving the right pericardium, focal uptake in the left thyroid lobe, left skull base, and musculature around the proximal left femur. Chemotherapy was initiated with R-mini-CHOP (rituximab, cyclophosphamide, doxorubicin, vincristine, and prednisone). PET scans after three cycles of chemotherapy showed a complete metabolic response with the resolution of previously noted hypermetabolic lesions. The patient completed all six cycles of chemotherapy without issues. The differential diagnosis of a right atrial cardiac mass should include lymphoma. TTE is usually the initial imaging test, and a tissue biopsy is required for a definitive diagnosis. DLBCL is highly aggressive and carries a poor prognosis if untreated. Early diagnosis and treatment with standard chemotherapy are crucial for favorable outcomes.
Pericardial Synovial Sarcoma in a Dyspnoeic Female with Tuberculous Pericarditis: A Case Report.

Abstract:Synovial sarcomas of the pericardium are extremely rare and associated with poor survival rate. The current case report describes a 45-year-old female who presented with dyspnea upon exertion, a paroxysmal cough, night sweats and recurrent pericardial effusion. The patient was diagnosed with tuberculous pericarditis and received antituberculous drug therapy. Echocardiography and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) revealed a pericardial mass lying predominantly over the right atrium. The patient was treated by surgical excision and a subsequent histological analysis confirmed the diagnosis of a pericardial synovial sarcoma. Under high power examination, a characteristic biphasic appearance consisting of hypercellular spindled cell sheets was observed. Immunohistochemistry demonstrated positive staining for epithelial membrane antigen (EMA), vimentin and Bcl 2. The patient was then referred for adjuvant chemotherapy with a combination of adriamycin and ifosfamide. The patient has since remained clinically free of disease for 32 months.
Diffuse Large B-Cell Lymphoma With Cardiac Invasion Presented as Acute Myocardial Infarction and Left Ventricular Hypertrophy: A Case Report

Abstract:Primary cardiac lymphoma is an exceedingly rare malignant tumor, with diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL) being the most prevalent histological subtype. This disease has non-specific clinical manifestations, making early diagnosis crucial. However, DLBCL diagnosis is commonly delayed, and its prognosis is typically poor. Herein, we report the case of a 51-year-old male patient with DLBCL who presented with recurrent chest tightness for 4 months as the primary clinical symptom. The patient was admitted to the hospital and diagnosed with acute myocardial infarction and left ventricular hypertrophy with heart failure. Echocardiography revealed a progression from left ventricular thickening to local pericardial thickening and adhesion in the inferior and lateral walls of the left ventricle. Finally, pathological analysis of myocardial biopsy confirmed the diagnosis of DLBCL. After treatment with the R-CHOP chemotherapy regimen, the patient's chest tightness improved, and he was discharged. After 2 months, the patient succumbed to death owing to sudden ventricular tachycardia, ventricular fibrillation, and decreased blood pressure despite rescue efforts. Transthoracic echocardiography is inevitable for the early diagnosis of DLBCL, as it can narrow the differential and guide further investigations and interventions, thereby improving the survival of these patients.
Clinical and laboratory characteristics of lymphoid neoplasms in serous effusions: a single centre experience in China

Abstract:Background Lymphoid neoplasms in serous effusions are uncommon, and the details of lymphoid neoplasms in serous effusions from China are still unclear. Methods Between January 2004 and December 2019, all patients with lymphoid neoplasms in pleural effusions, ascites, and pericardial effusions in our hospital, were reviewed. Results A total of 65 patients with lymphoid neoplasms were collected during this period. The top three neoplasms were diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL) (n = 20, 30.7%), myeloma (n = 13, 20.0%), and T-lymphoblastic lymphoma (n = 7, 10.8%). In pleural effusions involving DLBCL, the cytomorphology of DLBCL cells was diverse; most pleural effusions were present during the tumor course (92.9%); bilateral pleural effusions were predominant (57.2%); and the median survival time was only 1.23 months after the effusion. In pleural effusions involving myeloma, 90.9% of cases (10/11) had a high ratio (> 1.0) of immature to mature plasma cells; paraprotein types of IgA (36.4%) and light chain lambda (36.4%) were the most frequently found; bilateral pleural effusions were easily found (n = 10, 90.9%); and the median survival time was only 1.4 months after the effusion. Conclusion In pleural effusions involving DLBCL, most of our patients with effusions are present during the tumor course, and bilateral pleural effusions are predominant. In pleural effusions involving myeloma, the paraprotein types of IgA and light chain lambda are the most frequently found, and it has a high ratio of immature to mature plasma cells in pleural effusions.

Abstract:Primary cardiac lymphoma (PCL) is a rare hematological malignancy with involvement of the heart and/or pericardium. It belongs to the extra-nodal non-Hodgkin's lymphoma (NHL). The most common histological type is diffuse large B cell lymphoma. It generally carries a poor prognosis due either to a delay in the diagnosis or to infiltration of heart structures. Here, we described a 68-year-old male patient who was diagnosed with PCL and accompanied with severe wound infection. The patient receives PR after 6 cycles of R-CHOP regimen, and the wound infection was healing after treated with broad-spectrum antibiotics. We summarize the literatures, and briefly describe the manifestations, diagnosis, treatments and prognosis of PCL. Echocardiography, CT, MRI and PET-CT are used to evaluate the tumor, and our case is the very first case-report of primary cardiac lymphoma with PET-CT scan evaluation before and after chemotherapy. PCL is a rare disease, which be diagnosed and treated in time may improve its prognosis, however, its biological and clinical characteristics are still unknown. The goals of this article are to raise awareness of this disease, show the difficulties of diagnosing and also put emphasizes on the role of chemotherapy in its treatment, so that PCL can be diagnosed and treated in time.

Abstract:Background: Primary cardiac lymphoma is an extremely rare malignancy involving the heart and pericardium. It is a disease that most commonly effects the right atrium and right ventricle. Left untreated it carries a very poor prognosis. Recent advancements in therapy including early recognition and initiation of chemotherapy has led to improved survival. Case summary: A 78 year old female presented with weight loss, abdominal pain and distension. An ultrasound abdomen pre admission showed abdominal ascites. An echocardiogram performed during admission showed a large pericardial effusion with asymmetrical increase in left ventricular wall thickness and a new left atrial mass. Pericardial fluid analysis led to the diagnosis of diffuse large B cell non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. Positron Emission Tomography CT (PET-CT) shows avid fluorodeoxyglucose (FDG) uptake in cardiac muscle. Prompt treatment was initiated with a chemotherapy regimen involving Rituximab, Cyclophosphamide, doxorubicin, vincristine, and prednisolone (R-CHOP). An echocardiogram 3 months post initiation of treatment showed resolution of the pericardial effusion and left atrial mass as well as an improvement in left ventricular wall thickness. A PET-CT following completion of treatment showed complete metabolic response. Discussion: The diagnosis of primary cardiac lymphoma is uncommon and the presence of left rather than right heart involvement is rarer still. Multimodality imaging is key in diagnosis. Early recognition and treatment is vital in improving associated morbidity and mortality.

Abstract:Malignant pleural mesothelioma is a rare neoplasm that mostly occurs in elderly men. Recurrent unilateral pleural effusion is the most typical presentation and it is very rare to find extra-thoracic lymphadenopathy before the primary tumor, even in advanced cases. Herein, we report a challenging case of a young man presenting with unresolved fever, sore throat, and dysphagia associated with massive pleural effusion, cardiac tamponade, and multiple cervical lymphadenopathy with mesothelial cells infiltration.

Abstract:Introduction: Lung cancer remains the most common cause of cancer death in the USA and worldwide despite continued advances in lung cancer screening and treatment. Pericardial effusion (PerF) has been found in up to 50% of postmortem patients with cancer; lung and breast cancers are the most frequent malignancies. Furthermore, it is a sign of poor outcomes with fewer than 5 months of survival. Nevertheless, PErF with or without tamponade as a presentation of lung cancer is uncommon. Case presentation: We present a 72-year-old male without medical history who presented with 1 month of cough with white sputum and shortness of breath, progressively worsening, associated with weight loss (20 pounds). Further studies demonstrated early cardiac tamponade secondary to malignancy. Conclusion: Cardiac tamponade can arise secondarily from various etiologies and have different presentations depending on the cause. In general, it is a slowly developing and clinically silent disease process. Therefore, malignant PerFs can rarely present with hemodynamic instability and be the initial manifestation of an underlying malignancy. Our case review presents a rare case of metastatic lung adenocarcinoma manifesting as early symptomatic cardiac tamponade and as an emergency. The results might be life-threatening if this presentation is not recognized and managed appropriately. Clinicians must be aware of such atypical presentations of thoracic malignancies to take action adequately.
Brugada phenocopy with altered ST-segment elevation in pericardial diffuse large B-cell lymphoma and effusive-constrictive pericarditis: a case report

Abstract:Background: Cardiac lymphoma is a rare disease. Effusive-constrictive pericarditis can be a characteristic of pericardial involvement in patients with this disease. Conversely, a phenotype with electrocardiogram changes similar to those of Brugada syndrome is called Brugada phenocopy, and these changes improve after treatment. Case summary: A 71-year-old man was transported to our hospital with chest pain, hypotension, and ST-segment elevation in V1 and V2 leads during maintenance dialysis for renal failure. After arrival at the hospital, his ST-segment elevation disappeared, and emergency coronary angiography scan revealed no significant coronary artery stenoses or obstructions. His computed tomography and echocardiography scans revealed pericardial effusion and an intrapericardial mass. Further, his blood pressure dropped and ST-segment elevation recurred during dialysis after 7 days. Thus, pericardiocentesis was performed, but haemodynamic improvement was insufficient, and right catheterization findings suggested effusive-constrictive pericarditis. Meanwhile, flow cytometry of the pericardial fluid suggested the diagnosis of B-cell lymphoma; however, radical chemoradiotherapy was impossible because of cardiogenic shock. The patient died on Day 17. Further, autopsy revealed diffuse large B-cell lymphoma with pericardial and myocardial infiltration. Discussion: Cardiac lymphoma is rare but can be associated with effusive-constrictive pericarditis, which may be difficult to manage even with pericardial drainage. In such cases, radical treatment, including chemotherapy, should be promptly considered, if possible. Our patient presented with Brugada-type electrocardiogram but no syncope or family history, suggesting Brugada phenocopy and not true Brugada syndrome due to cardiac lymphoma. Notably, temporary improvement in ST-segment elevation was observed despite the absence of treatment.
A case of primary cardiac lymphoma located in the pericardial effusion

Abstract:Primary cardiac lymphoma is a rare disorder with a poor prognosis. We present here a case of 77-year-old woman who was diagnosed as having cardiac lymphoma antemortem according to a cytologic examination of the pericardial effusion. Determination of the levels of serum-soluble interleukin-2 receptor and serum deoxythymidine kinase was useful for the diagnosis. Echocardiography, computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging, and gallium scan revealed neither lymphadenopathy nor tumor in the heart, so she was diagnosed as having malignant lymphoma that probably originated from the pericardium. Systemic chemotherapy with CHOP (cyclophosphamide, farmorubicin, oncovin, and prednisolone) resulted in a complete resolution of the pericardial effusion. She has been in remission 48 months after discontinuation of the chemotherapy.

Abstract:Introduction Cardiac lymphomas are rare and can be fatal if not diagnosed and treated appropriately. They are commonly diffuse large B cell lymphomas (DLBCL) presenting with secondary cardiac involvement. Primary cardiac lymphomas are rarer with an incidence rate of 0.25%. Patients typically have heart failure symptoms, which can confound diagnosis with more common etiologies. Masses are often identified by imaging, but further modalities and tissue biopsy are required to identify the etiology before pursuing treatment. We discuss a rare case of a primary DLBCL arising from the interventricular septum. Case Presentation A 47-year-old woman with a PMH of DLBCL of the right groin in 2017 was in remission after chemotherapy. She presented with symptoms of chest pressure, dyspnea, palpitations, and dizziness. A CT angiogram was ordered to evaluate pulmonary embolism resulted with hypoenhancement of the right ventricle (RV). Echocardiography subsequently revealed a homogenous mass in the RV causing massive RV dilatation and hypokinesis, and compression of the LV (Fig. 1). Cardiac MRI demonstrated invasion of the mass into the interventricular septum and wall of the LV, making her a poor candidate for surgical resection. Biopsy of the mass by pathology identified it as DLBCL. The patient was started on rituximab, ifosfamide, carboplatin, and etoposide. Serial echocardiography was performed during treatment with the mass regressing to a third of its original size without cardiac perforation (Fig. 2). After clinical improvement, she was discharged and returned to her previous oncologists for continued treatment. Discussion Primary cardiac lymphomas are rare. Once diagnosed, the treatment includes aggressive chemotherapy or surgical resection. Masses arising from the structures of the heart have the potential to cause cardiac perforation and subsequent demise of the patient during regression. These patients can be successfully managed with multidisciplinary involvement and careful monitoring.

Abstract:Primary cardiac lymphomas are extremely rare and always occur in immunodeficient persons. Here, we report a very rare case of a primary cardiac diffuse large B-cell lymphoma in an immunocompetent 41-year old woman. Echocardiography and computed tomography revealed a mass measuring 74 mm x 49 mm in the right atrium. No tumour formations were recognized in other organs. Laboratory data did not reveal immunosuppression, and the human immunodeficiency virus was negative. Histological and immunohistochemical studies showed that the cardiac tumour was diffuse large B-cell lymphoma, non-germinal centre B-cell type. Epstein-Barr Virus-encoded small RNA was negative by in situ hybridization. The patient died 6 months after the operation.
A case report of systemic lupus erythematosus with severe pulmonary hypertension presenting as large pericardial effusion with early signs of cardiac tamponade: a diagnostic and therapeutic challenge

Abstract:Background: Pulmonary hypertension is defined as resting arterial pressure >20 mmHg. Cardiac tamponade is a medical emergency where fluids accumulate in the pericardial sac compressing the heart pericardium leading to heart failure. Pericardiocentesis is challenging in patients with cardiac tamponade and severe pulmonary hypertension due to the risk of catastrophic haemodynamic collapse. Case summary: An 18-year-old female who was recently diagnosed to have systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) presented to the emergency department with shortness of breath, chest pain, fever, and fatigue. The physical examination revealed tachycardia, muffled heart sounds, and distended jugular venous pulse. Chest X-ray showed cardiomegaly, and transthoracic echocardiography showed a large circumferential pericardial effusion with signs of cardiac tamponade. There was severe pulmonary hypertension along with a dilated right ventricle with systolic dysfunction. The right ventricular systolic pressure was around 100 mmHg. The multidisciplinary team of cardiologists and pulmonologists decided to avoid pericardiocentesis due to the high risk of haemodynamic collapse. Aggressive medical therapy targeting pulmonary hypertension and SLE was started, which resulted in complete resolution of the pericardial effusion and normalization of pulmonary artery pressure. Discussion: A conservative approach can be an alternative strategy to manage patients with large pericardial effusion and impending pericardial tamponade in the presence of severe pulmonary arterial hypertension as pericardiocentesis carries a high risk of haemodynamic collapse.
Massive myocardial infiltration by primary anaplastic T-cell lymphoma: a case report

Abstract:Background: Myocardial infiltration by primary cardiac neoplasm is a rare entity, providing diagnostic and therapeutic challenges. The pathological spectrum includes more frequently benign forms. Refractory heart failure, pericardial effusion, and arrhythmias due to infiltrative mass are the most common clinical manifestations. Case summary: We describe the case of a 35-year-old man complaining of shortness of breath and weight loss in the last 2 months. A previous acute myeloid leukaemia treated with allogenic bone marrow transplant was reported. Transthoracic echocardiography revealed an apical thrombus in the left ventricle, with inferior and septal hypokinesia conditioning a mildly reduced ejection fraction, circumferential pericardial effusion, and abnormal right ventricular thickening. Cardiac magnetic resonance confirmed diffuse thickening of the right ventricular free wall due to myocardial infiltration. Positron emission tomography showed the presence of neoplastic tissue with increased metabolic activity. A pericardiectomy was performed showing a widespread cardiac neoplastic infiltration. Histopathological analysis done on right ventricular pathological samples obtained during cardiac surgery revealed the presence of a rare and aggressive cardiac anaplastic T-cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma. Few days after the operation, the patient developed refractory cardiogenic shock and unluckily died before initiating an adequate antineoplastic therapy. Discussion: Primary cardiac lymphoma is not frequent, and the lack of specific symptoms makes the diagnosis extremely challenging and often limited to autopsy findings. Our case highlights the importance of an appropriate diagnostic algorithm, requiring non-invasive multimodality assessment imaging and then invasive cardiac biopsy. This approach may allow an early diagnosis and an adequate therapy for this otherwise fatal pathology.

Abstract:Fluid overload-associated large B-cell lymphoma (FO-LBCL) is a new entity described in the fifth edition of the World Health Organization (WHO) Classification of Hematolymphoid Tumors (WHO-HAEM5). It refers to malignant lymphoma present with symptoms of serous effusions in body cavities (pleural, peritoneal, and/or pericardial) in the absence of an identifiable tumor mass. We present a case of an 82-year-old man with a history of atrial fibrillation and atrial flutter, status post-ablation, essential hypertension (HTN), hyperlipidemia (HLD), and diabetes mellitus (DM) type 2 who was referred to our hospital for shortness of breath due to recurrent pleural effusion. Right video-assisted thoracoscopy with right pleural biopsy was performed. Histopathological examination of the pleural biopsy revealed dense fibrous tissue, chronic inflammation, lymphoid aggregates, and granulation tissue, with no evidence of lymphoma. Cytology of the right pleural fluid revealed large lymphoid cells, which were positive for CD45, CD20, PAX-5, MUM-1, BCL2, BCL6, and MYC protein. They were negative for CD3, CD10, CD138, and HHV-8 by immunohistochemistry (IHC). Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) was negative by in situ hybridization (ISH). Due to the absence of any evidence of lymphoma elsewhere, a diagnosis of fluid overload-associated large B-cell lymphoma (FO-LBCL) was made. We provide a synopsis of the main clinicopathological features of FO-LBCL and the two main differential diagnoses, primary effusion lymphoma (PEL) and diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL).
Primary diffuse large B-cell lymphoma of the heart – a rare case of heart failure

Abstract:A 65-year-old man with previous history of smoking, controlled HIV infection, treated hepatitis B infection, and type III cryoglobulinemia, was admitted due to right heart failure symptoms and significant weight loss. Despite being haemodynamically stable, he had periods of 1:1 conduction atrial flutter and presented with respiratory alkalosis and metabolic acidosis, as well as acute kidney and hepatic dysfunction, elevated D-dimer and cardiac markers. He underwent imaging with chest computed tomography and echocardiogram that confirmed pulmonary embolism and most notably revealed a significant sized cardiac mass causing almost complete obstruction of the right chambers, with no cleavage plane with the myocardial walls and tricuspid valve. Cardiac magnetic resonance was highly suggestive of malignancy. Cardiac surgery for mass excision and endomyocardial biopsy for diagnosis were considered, but the patient died with obstructive shock unresponsive to medical treatment. The autopsy revealed a primary unspecified diffuse large B-cell lymphoma.

Abstract:Rate coefficients are reported for the gas-phase reaction of the hydroxyl radical (OH) with C2Cl4 (k1) over an extended temperature range at 740 ± 10 Torr in a He bath gas. These absolute rate measurements were conducted using a laser photolysis/laser-induced fluorescence (LP/LIF) technique under slow flow conditions. The lower temperature values for k1 are within ±2σ of previous data using different techniques. The overall slope of our Arrhenius plot varies slightly from previously reported values. Agreement within our own data holds up to ∼720 K, but reliable measurement beyond this temperature was hampered by apparent thermal decomposition of our OH source (HONO). An Arrhenius fit to the data yielded the expression k1(T) = (1.68 ± 0.25) × 10-12 exp(−764.2 ± 79.1/T), whereas a three-parameter Arrhenius fit yielded the expression k1(T) = (1.93 ± 0.20) × 10-22(T)3.2 exp(660.8 ± 54.6/T), where k is in units of cm3 molecule-1 s-1. A Rare Case of Indolent B Cell Lymphoma with Massive Pleural Effusion As the Initial Presentation

Abstract:Two major type of lymphoma involve the pleura as primary neoplasms: primary effusion lymphoma (PEL) in the setting of human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) infection, and pyothorax-associated lymphomas (PAL), with a strong Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) or pyothorax association. However, indolent B cell lymphoma initially manifested as pleural effusion is an extremely rare clinical occurrence. In this study, we report a case of 52-year-old woman with no history of HIV infection or pyothorax, who only manifested long-term massive bilateral pleural effusion. This patient was characterized by lymphocytic pleural effusion, which had been misdiagnosed as tuberculous hydrothorax. A total of 75 liters of pleural effusion were drained over a two-year period. After admission to our hospital, we performed flow cytometry of pleural effusion and revealed proliferation of B lymphocytes with abnormal immune markers consistent with marginal zone B cell phenotype, although lymphocyte morphology is normal. Flow cytometry on bone marrow revealed ckappa restrictive expression on B cells further, which indicating small B cell lymphoma. The right-side pleural fluid was encapsulated after thoracoscopy and the patient's symptom were relieved. Considering the foreseeable side effects of chemotherapeutic drugs and indolent potential of the small B cell lymphoma, the patient opted not to undergo further treatment. Follow up was done 1, 3 and 6 months after discharge, the depths of bilateral pleural effusion on ultrasound stabilized around 3 cm without thoracentesis. This case is thought to be an unusual presentation because the pleural lymphoma occurred on an immunocompetent adult woman and the type was small B cell lymphoma, which were totally different from PEL or PAL. We also describe the use of flow cytometry to effectively diagnose the unexplained pleural effusion, and discuss the findings using relevant previously reported literature. Overall, our findings provide new insights to deal with unexplained pleural effusion and the value of flow cytometry in diagnosis.
