Abstract:Anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) rupture is a very important epidemiological pathology in our environment. It has a peak incidence between 16 to 39 years of age. It is estimated that between 70-84% of ACL injuries are non-contact. The "no return" position describes the knee in valgus, femoral external rotation, tibial internal rotation and semiflexion, promoting injury to this ligament. Geometric measurements of the knee have been associated with an increased probability of non-contact ACL injury. The management of ACL tears is divided into two: conservative treatment and surgical management. Early OA (osteoarthritis) is the most common consequence of an ACL tear. We present the case of a 35-year-old patient with an inveterate ACL rupture of 10 years of evolution. With conservative management initially that progresses to knee instability and pain in the medial and lateral joint line as well as increased volume and functional limitation. After diagnostic studies, it was decided to perform diagnostic-therapeutic arthroscopy and continued close follow-up for associated pathology.

Abstract:The radiation induced bystander effect is a well accepted consequence of ionizing radiation exposure. However, it has become clear that bystander responses in vitro can result from a number of stress stimuli. We had reported that media conditioned on tumor cell cultures induced a bystander effect in recipient normal cell cultures and asked whether an analogous process could occur in vivo - could the presence of a tumor induce DNA damage in distant tissues. We recently demonstrated the presence of a distant bystander DNA damage response in vivo in the gastrointestinal organs and skin of mice implanted with subcutaneous tumors. The activation of inflammatory macrophages through the cytokine CCL2 was found to be required for this distant genotoxic response. These results shed new light on the consequences of tumor growth to distant parts of the body and highlight the potential for possible medical interventions to mitigate the effect of cancers.
Injury to the Posterior Horn of the Lateral Meniscus from a Misplaced Tibial Tunnel for Anterior Cruciate Ligament Reconstruction: A Case Report

Abstract:BACKGROUND Posterior meniscal root avulsions can cause meniscal extrusion, joint space narrowing, and progressive knee arthritis. Iatrogenic posterior meniscal root avulsions after malpositioning of the transtibial tunnels during anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstruction can account for poor long-term outcomes seen in some patients following ACL reconstruction. Therefore, correct transtibial tunnel placement during ACL reconstruction is essential to avoid iatrogenic meniscal damage. CASE REPORT A 32-year-old man presented with 1 year of right knee pain and instability following a non-contact twisting injury sustained while playing soccer. An ACL tear with no meniscal involvement was diagnosed at an outside institution. A double-bundle reconstruction was performed at that time. Three months after surgery, a medial partial meniscectomy was performed after a medial meniscal tear and failure to reduce initial symptoms during the index procedure. Advanced imaging at our institution 6 months later demonstrated an iatrogenic lateral posterior meniscal root avulsions after malpositioning of the transtibial tunnels. Given the ACL graft integrity upon arthroscopic evaluation, the root tear was repaired using a 2-tunnel transtibial pull-out technique. Advanced imaging 1 year after surgery showed a well-maintained meniscal repair with no extrusion. CONCLUSIONS Accurate transtibial tunnel placement during ACL reconstructive surgery is vital to avoid meniscal root detachment and the associated complications resulting in poor patient outcomes from this iatrogenic injury. Clinicians treating patients with a history of cruciate ligament reconstruction presenting with postoperative pain and instability should consider this pathology in their differential diagnosis.
Two Cases of Contact Anterior Cruciate Ligament Rupture Combined with a Posterolateral Tibial Plateau Fracture

Abstract:Background. The combined occurrence of ACL rupture with a posterolateral tibial plateau fracture has not yet been reported. Two cases of such injuries have been treated in our department for the past three years. Findings. The two patients both suffered injuries from traffic accidents. The radiological examinations showed a ruptured ACL with fracture of the posterolateral tibial plateau. Reconstruction of the ACL was performed via a standard anatomical single bundle ACL reconstruction technique with autologous tendon by arthroscopy. A posterolateral tibia plateau approach was used to reduce and fix the fractured area with the aid of lag screws. After a one-year follow-up, the two patients recovered well and physical examinations showed full knee range of motion with no evidence of ACL instability. Conclusions. The cause of this type injury of ACL rupture with a posterolateral tibial plateau fracture was thought to be by a violent internal tibial rotation/anterior tibial translation without any valgus or varus knee force mechanism during the accident. Satisfactory clinical results were achieved with a standard anatomical single bundle ACL reconstruction by arthroscopy and ORIF for the posterolateral plateau fracture. Both patients reported excellent knee function and fracture healing.
Septic Arthritis Complicating Arthroscopic Anterior Cruciate Ligament Reconstruction: An Experience from a Tertiary-Care Hospital

Abstract:Background: Septic arthritis (SA) of the knee following anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction (ACLR) is considered a catastrophic complication in terms of reduced or loss function of the involved joint. The aims of this study were to gauge the incidence, risk factors, and causative organisms of SA after ACLR. Methods: We conducted a retrospective review of 836 patients who underwent primary ACLR at our institution from October 2018 to September 2021. Patients' demographics, onset of presentation, clinical symptoms, laboratory findings, and management details were obtained from patients' electronic medical records. Results: Out of the 836 primary ACLRs, 12 were complicated with SA (1.43%). Independent risk factors associated with SA included age (OR; 11.12, 95% CI; 1.3-94.97), obesity (OR; 8.51, 95% CI; 1.02-71.13), and diabetes mellitus (OR; 12.58, 95% CI; 2.39-66.3). Staphylococcus aureus was the most frequent culprit organism (66.7%), followed by Streptococcus species (25%), and Pseudomonas aeruginosa (8.3%). No fungal, mycobacterial, or polymicrobial growth were recovered from synovial fluid cultures. All of the infected cases underwent arthroscopic joint lavage and debridement in the operating room followed by intravenous antibiotics. Graft removal was not done in any of the involved patients, with eradication of infection in all cases. Conclusion: SA after ACLR is uncommon, with S. aureus identified in about two-thirds of the patients. Prompt diagnosis and treatment are crucial to avoid graft loss and arthritis-associated joint damage. Orthopedic surgeons should consider rigorous implementation of infection control strategies to minimize the incidence of this devastating morbidity.
An isolated rupture of the anterolateral ligament of the knee: A case report

Abstract:Introduction: The anterolateral ligament (ALL) is a controversial ligament in the knee that may play a significant role in knee stability. It is difficult to identify on magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) imaging and is often injured in conjunction with other ligaments, such as the anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) and medial collateral ligament. Case presentation: This is a unique case of an isolated ALL tear in a 48-year-old woman who presented with severe left knee pain, swelling, and inability to bear weight during a yoga session. Physical examination showed swelling and tenderness at the lateral aspect of the femoral condyle, with increased pain on varus stress testing. Radiographs revealed normal osseous structures with the absence of traumatic bone lesions. MRI revealed an intact meniscus, cruciate, and collateral ligaments, but a rupture of the ALL at its femoral origin. Diagnosis of isolated ALL rupture of the left knee was made, and the patient was treated conservatively with icing, rest, and non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. Physiotherapy was started 2 weeks post-injury, and return to sports was allowed at the sixth week. Upon last follow-up, the patient had excellent functional outcomes and was satisfied with the treatment. Physical examination showed a stable knee with negative Lachman and pivot shift tests. To the best of the authors' knowledge, this is the first case of isolated ALL rupture to be reported. Discussion: The paper highlights the rarity of isolated ALL injuries and the difficulty in diagnosing them. Conservative treatment can be successful for isolated ALL injuries, with physiotherapy playing an essential role in rehabilitation.In conclusion, isolated ALL injuries are rare and can be challenging to diagnose. Conservative treatment with physiotherapy can lead to successful outcomes. Further research is needed to understand the role of the ALL in knee stability and to determine optimal treatment options.
Septic Arthritis After Arthroscopic Anterior Cruciate Ligament Reconstruction: A Retrospective Analysis of Incidence, Presentation, Treatment, and Cause

Abstract:The purpose of this report is to summarize our experience in the diagnosis and management of septic arthritis after anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstruction.A retrospective review was conducted of all the arthroscopic ACL reconstructions performed at our institution between 1997 and 2007. Postoperative septic arthritis occurred in 21 of 4,068 patients. The incidence, cause, presentation, laboratory results, and treatment of all infected patients were analyzed.The incidence of septic arthritis after ACL reconstruction was 0.52%. The most common symptoms of the infected patients were fever, swelling, severe pain, tenderness, and restricted motion. The erythrocyte sedimentation rate, C-reactive protein level, and fibrinogen level were markedly elevated. Microbiology showed that coagulase-negative Staphylococcus was the most common bacterium. Both conservative and operative treatments were effective, and no patient had the ACL graft removed. However, the conservative group had a longer recovery time and duration of intravenous antibiotic therapy.Septic arthritis after arthroscopic ACL reconstruction is a rare but potentially devastating complication. The correct diagnosis relies on clinical evaluation, laboratory tests, synovial fluid analysis, and bacterial culture. With early diagnosis and prompt treatment, the infection can be successfully eradicated. Our proposed treatment protocol is arthroscopic debridement and irrigation as quickly as possible, with retention of the ACL graft when it is still functional.Level IV, therapeutic case series.

Abstract:Multi-ligament knee injury, involving complex destruction of structures like the anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) and posterior cruciate ligament (PCL), presents significant challenges in treatment as well as diagnosis. This case study focuses on a 55-year-old woman who was the victim of a severe traffic accident and had an ACL and PCL avulsion fracture, a medial condyle fracture, and a medial collateral ligament rupture. Afterward, open reduction and internal fixation of the right tibial plateau surgery was performed after a delay in order to manage the pain and swelling. Her rehabilitation was greatly helped by postoperative physical therapy, which focused on pain control, early mobilization, and gradual strength development. A well-structured rehabilitation plan was found to be beneficial, as indicated by the remarkable improvements in pain reduction and functional mobility. This case highlights the value of effective physical therapy in helping patients through the difficult recovery process following multiple ligament injuries with the goal of restoring function and improving their quality of life.

Abstract:Extraarticular infection after Anterior Cruciate Ligament reconstruction (ACLr) is a rare condition with challenging diagnosis because the symptoms are milder and more insidious when compared to septic arthritis. When late (>2 months after surgery) it tends to be associated to osteomyelitis, requiring more extensive surgical debridement and hardware removal. We report a case of extraarticular infection after ACLr, in the acute phase affecting the tibial site and 9 years after index surgery affecting around the femur site. There was no progression to osteomyelitis at any of the sites. The infection developed a large posterolateral encapsulated abscess, with the endobutton plate loose inside it with its loop intact. In addition to the absence of osteomyelitis progression, there was no sinus tract formation, graft or joint involvement. With open debridement and antibiotic therapy, the patient returned to his activities without limitations. The reported case highlights that extraarticular infection after ACLr, while rare, can be challenging to diagnose and treat. However, with appropriate treatment, it can lead to good results with no functional limitations.
Use of the Long and Short Forms of the Depression in the Medically Ill Questionnaire in a Spanish Population

Abstract:This study sought to translate, using a back-translation procedure, and evaluate the psychometric characteristics of Depression in the Medically Ill questionnaire (DMI-18) and its short version (DMI-10) in a Spanish population. Patients with somatic disorders (N = 366) completed the translated DMI-18 and another depression questionnaire. Among these, 167 were also assessed by a mental health professional (gold standard) to test criterion validity. Furthermore, coefficient alpha for both the versions were high (>.90), and convergent validity assessed against the Beck Depression Inventory for Primary Care, the Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale, and the Patient Health Questionnaire–9 was satisfactory (r > .74). Confirmatory factor analysis results supported the one-factor model. When compared with the gold standard, sensitivity and specificity were 93% and 73% for DMI-18 and 87% and 74% for DMI-10, respectively. Thus, both the versions are acceptable measures that can be used by nonpsychiatric professionals to detect affective comorbidities in their patients.
Concurrent Undisplaced Patellar Fracture and Posterior Cruciate Ligament Avulsion Fracture Managed With Surgical Fixation and Rehabilitation: A Case Report

Abstract:This case report explains the successful management of a rare, combined injury: an undisplaced patellar fracture and a posterior cruciate ligament (PCL) avulsion fracture at the tibial attachment in a 44-year-old male patient following a motorbike accident. While both injuries are frequently seen in orthopedic practice, their concurrent occurrence is uncommon. The patient presented with significant knee swelling, limited range of motion, and pain following the accident. An X-ray revealed a patellar fracture and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) confirmed an undisplaced fracture, a PCL tear, and a medial meniscus injury. The patient underwent surgical intervention for PCL fixation with a cannulated cancellous (CC) screw under spinal anesthesia. Following surgery, a comprehensive rehabilitation program was implemented, focusing on pain management, reducing swelling, regaining range of motion, and strengthening the surrounding musculature. The program progressed through three phases, steadily increasing the intensity and complexity of exercises. The patient exhibited significant improvement in pain, swelling, range of motion, and muscle strength throughout the rehabilitation program. By week 12, he had achieved near-normal knee function and was able to resume most daily activities.
A Comprehensive Assessment of Meniscal Injury Incidence in Anterior Cruciate Ligament Deficient Knee Joints

Abstract:Introduction The meniscus is frequently damaged in anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injuries or in the degenerative process over a period of several years. The predominance of lateral meniscal tears has been demonstrated with acute ACL rupture, whereas the incidence of medial meniscal tears significantly increases with chronic ACL insufficiency. Methods This is a Prospective study. 50 patients in the age group of 18-50 years with internal derangement of knee, which underwent arthroscopic ACL reconstruction. All patients in the age group of 18 – 50 years with internal derangement of knee who underwent arthroscopic ACL reconstruction were included in the study. Results A total of 50 patients presented with complete ACL tears, of which 45 were male and 5 were female. The modes of injury were road traffic accidents in 23 patients, contact sports in 19 patients and injuries during ADL in the remaining 8 patients. On the whole Right knee (56%) was more commonly involved than left (44%). Isolated lateral meniscal tear was seen in 15 patients, isolated medial meniscal tear in 16 and both menisci tears was 4, 15 patients had isolated ACL injury with no meniscal involvement. 34 patients presented within 6months following trauma (early group) of which 20 patients (59%) had meniscal tear and 16 patients presented after 6 months following trauma (late group) out of which 15 (94%) had meniscal tears. Conclusions Early ACL reconstruction restores the normal biomechanics of the knee joint and thereby prevents further derangement of the ligamentous structures of the knee avoiding development of secondary osteoarthrosis

Influence of a Concomitant Medial Meniscus Injury on Knee Joint Function and Osteoarthritis Presence after Anterior Cruciate Ligament Reconstruction

Abstract:(1) Background: The aim of this study was to investigate how a medial meniscus injury accompanying an anterior cruciate ligament rupture affects the clinical outcome 10 years after ACL reconstruction. (2) Methods: A total of 37 patients who received anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction (ACLR) were included in this retrospective study. Two groups were analyzed at a single follow-up of 10 years: (i) "isolated (ACLR)" (n = 20) and (ii) "ACLR with medial meniscal injury" (n = 17). The following clinical scores were recorded: International Knee Documentation Committee (IKDC), the Knee Injury and Osteoarthritis Outcome Score (KOOS), Lysholm Score and Tegner Activity Score. To determine the degree of osteoarthritis the Kellgren–Lawrence score was used. (3) Results: The "isolated ACLR" study group scored significantly higher (p < 0.05) on the IKDC subjective questionnaire (mean: 88.4) than the "ACLR with medial meniscus injury" group (mean: 81). The KOOS category "activities of daily living" showed significantly better results in the isolated ACLR group (p < 0.05). The "ACLR with medial meniscus injury" group had significantly higher degree of osteoarthritis (p < 0.05). No significant differences were found in all the other clinical scores. (4) Conclusions: The results of this study further indicate that patients with a concomitant medial meniscus injury have slightly more discomfort in everyday life and increased risk of developing osteoarthritis 10 years after surgery.

Patient and Operative Risk Factors for Osteoarthritis After Primary Anterior Cruciate Ligament Reconstruction: A Cohort Study of 41,976 Patients

Abstract:Background: The reported incidence of posttraumatic knee osteoarthritis (PTOA) after primary anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction (ACLR) varies considerably. Further, there are gaps in identifying which patients are at risk for PTOA after ACLR and whether there are modifiable factors. Purpose: To (1) determine the incidence of PTOA in a primary ACLR cohort and (2) identify patient and perioperative factors associated with the development of PTOA after primary ACLR. Study design: Cohort study; Level of evidence, 3. Methods: Data from the Kaiser Permanente ACLR Registry were used to conduct a cohort study. Patients who had undergone primary ACLR without a previous diagnosis of osteoarthritis were identified (2009-2020). The crude incidence of PTOA was calculated using the Aalen-Johansen estimator with a multistate model. The association of patient and operative factors with the development of PTOA after primary ACLR was modeled as a time to event using multistate Cox proportional hazards regression. Models stratified by age (<22 and ≥22 years) were also conducted because of the effect modification of age. Results: The study sample included 41,976 cases of primary ACLR. The incidence of PTOA was 1.7%, 5.1%, and 13.6% at 2, 5, and 10 year follow-ups, respectively. Risk factors for PTOA that were consistently identified in the overall cohort and age-stratified groups included a body mass index ≥30 versus <30 and an allograft or quadriceps tendon autograft versus a hamstring tendon autograft. Patients presenting with knee pain after ACLR were further identified when considering postoperative factors. Other risk factors for PTOA in the overall cohort included age ≥22 versus <22 years, bone-patellar tendon-bone autograft versus hamstring tendon autograft, hypertension, cartilage injury, meniscal injury, revision after primary ACLR with concomitant meniscal/cartilage surgery, multiligament injury, other activity at the time of injury compared with sport, and tibial tunnel drilling technique rather than the anteromedial portal. Conclusion: Knee pain after ACLR may be an early sign of PTOA. Surgeons should consider the adverse associations of a higher body mass index and an allograft or quadriceps tendon autograft with the development of PTOA, as these were factors identified with a higher risk, regardless of a patient's age at the time of primary ACLR.

Leveraging Insurance Claims Data to Identify Risk Factors for Posttraumatic Osteoarthritis After Multiligament Knee Reconstruction

Abstract:Background: The incidence of subsequent posttraumatic osteoarthritis (OA) diagnosis after surgery and the associated risk factors have been well reported after single-ligament anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstruction; however, to date, the incidence of posttraumatic OA for those who have experienced multiligament knee injury (MLKI) has been reported only in relatively small, single-center studies. Purpose: To compare the incidence of OA diagnoses between patients with ACL injury versus patients with MLKI and to identify risk factors for OA diagnosis after MLKI. Study design: Cohort study; Level of evidence, 3. Methods: This study used the PearlDiver Mariner database, which contains insurance claims information on >151 million orthopaedic patients. We identified 2 cohorts for this study by using Current Procedural Terminology codes. The cohorts included patients between the ages of 16 and 60 who underwent either isolated ACL reconstruction (n = 114,282) or MLKI reconstruction (n = 3325) between July 1, 2010, and August 30, 2016. MLKI reconstruction was operationally defined as ACL reconstruction plus concurrent surgical treatment of ≥1 additional ligaments. Demographic factors, concomitant meniscal and cartilage procedures, and subsequent reoperation to restore motion were recorded, as was the incidence of knee OA diagnosis within 5 years of the index surgical procedure. OA incidence and demographic and surgical factors were compared (1) between ACL and MLKI groups and (2) between patients with MLKI either with or without OA diagnosis. Results: A significantly greater proportion of patients with MLKI were diagnosed with knee OA within 5 years of surgery (MLKI = 299/3325 [9.0%] vs ACL = 6955/114,282 [6.1%]; P < .0001) (odds ratio [OR], 1.52; 95% CI, 1.35-1.72; P < .001). Factors associated with increased odds of OA diagnosis after MLKI included age ≥30 years (OR, 5.90), reoperation to restore motion (OR, 2.54), obesity (OR, 1.96), mood disorder diagnoses (OR, 1.85), partial meniscectomy (OR, 1.85), and tobacco use (OR, 1.72). Concomitant meniscal repair was protective against OA diagnosis (OR, 0.06). Conclusion: OA incidence was greater after MLKI reconstruction than after isolated ACL reconstruction. Potentially modifiable risk factors for OA after MLKI were identified and include obesity, tobacco use, depression, and the need for motion-restoring surgery.
A case report of simultaneous tears of the medial and lateral posterior meniscal roots with an intact ACL graft

Abstract:Introduction and importance: Meniscal root tears are defined as soft-tissue and/or osseous injuries that rip or avulse within one centimeter of the meniscal insertion to the tibial plateau. These injuries impact around 100,000 patients a year and make up 10 % to 21 % of all meniscal tears. Meniscal extrusion frequently happens when there are root rips, and the transmission of circumferential hoop loads is hampered. Case presentation: We present one case of a 28-year-old male who complained of pain and stiffness in his left knee since 2 years after undergoing ACL reconstruction using a hamstring autograft. His examination revealed joint line tenderness on both the medial and lateral sides of the left knee. Further investigations involving X-ray and MRI established the diagnosis of both medial and lateral meniscal root tears, which were surgically managed using the transtibial pullout technique. Discussion: The biomechanical implications of meniscal root tears, such as loss of hoop forces and increased tibiofemoral contact pressures, underscore the importance of timely diagnosis and management. The literature advocates surgical treatment for managing root tears, as leaving them without surgical intervention can lead to functional outcomes similar to those of total meniscectomy. Conclusion: This case report presents both menisci posterior root tears with an intact ACL graft which is unique in that they commonly tear in conjuction with ACL. These kind of injuries necessitates prompt diagnosis and surgical intervention to protect the knee from early arthritic changes.

Abstract:Introduction: Ramp lesions, often associated with anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injuries, exhibit a varied incidence rate of 9–42%, increasing with delayed ACL reconstruction. These lesions, resulting from abnormal tibial movements and semimembranosus muscle contraction, are challenging to diagnose due to their hidden nature in standard magnetic resonance imaging and arthroscopy procedures. Case Report: This report examines the case of a ramp lesion in the context of a multi-ligament injured knee of a 34-year-old male. The patient had a complete ACL, medial collateral ligament, and avulsion of the posterior cruciate ligament with a type 1 ramp lesion. These findings were confirmed by arthroscopy and were treated with arthroscopic reconstruction of the ligament and all inside repair of the ramp lesion. We report the pertinent imaging findings relevant to the ramp lesions. Conclusion: Ramp lesions present a significant diagnostic and treatment challenge in orthopedic practice. Enhanced imaging techniques and a deeper understanding of their pathophysiology are crucial for an accurate diagnosis. Keywords: Ramp, hidden lesion, magnetic resonance imaging, arthroscopy.
Arthroscopic Approach for Fixation of a Neglected ACL Avulsion Fracture: A Case Report

Abstract:Orthopaedic Journal of Sports Medicine, Volume 12, Issue 10_suppl3, October 2024. Introduction:Anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) avulsion fractures constitute a significant proportion of knee joint injuries and can lead to substantial disability if left untreated. These fractures result from forceful hyperextension or a direct impact on the distal end of the femur while the knee is flexed. Presently, Meyers and McKeever's classification system is used to categorise these fractures. The popularity of arthroscopic reduction and fixation techniques due to limited skin incisions and soft-tissue injuries have been growing since there is no gold standard treatment for ACL avulsion fractures. This report aims to describe the potency of arthroscopic techniques in fixing neglected ACL avulsion fractures to improve knee function and calculate it using Patient-Reported Outcome Measures (PROM), the Indonesian version of International Knee Documentation Committee (I-IKDC).Objective:A 19-year-old young woman sustained an ACL injury during a sports activity. Over time, her pain progressively worsened and limiting her ability to perform fully extend her knee and a full squat. X-ray and MRI revealed evidence of avulsion at the ACL insertion site on the tibia, classified as a grade 2 based on Meyers and McKeever's Classification. Despite undergoing conservative therapy, the pain persisted for 8 weeks before the patient was admitted for surgery.Discussion:Her pain really limits her daily activities and her career as a sales promotion representative. For the surgical technique, we did a meticulous cleaning of the fracture site, followed by fixation utilizing a fiber suture. Next, a looping suture was created at the ACL insertion point, threaded through a tibial hole, and fixed at the anterior tibia, aligning with the location of the ACL insertion. Three months after the surgery, we did a follow-up and found that she has no pain when she fully extends her knee, does a squat, and also does light jogging. Her X-ray postoperative shown a united avulsion fracture. We also calculated using I-IKDC and found a satisfactory result of 83% for her knee function.Conclusion:The arthroscopic approach achieved a satisfactory clinical outcome and provided an effective method for the treatment of neglected ACL avulsion fractures..
