Abstract:Prescription, Recreational and Illicit Substance Evaluation (PRISE) is a State-wide public health program. The decision to report these cases was made when the assay results returned which was after the patients had been discharged. In accordance with NSW Health Guideline GL2007_020, this research is a quality improvement or quality assurance (QI/QA) activity not requiring independent ethics review and patient consent. This was supported by Human Research Ethics Committee (RPAH Zone), reference HERC\EXECOR\24-08. The authors report there are no competing interests to declare. The participants of this report did not give written consent for their data to be shared publicly, so due to the sensitive nature of the research and small numbers of cases, supporting data are not available.
