Abstract:A new method for the fabrication of monodispersed Cu nanoparticles on electrode surface was explored, and a novel electrochemical sensor for the sensitive detection of hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) was constructed by assembling copper nanoparticles (Cu-NPs) on the precursor film poly-p-aminobenzene sulfonic acid (poly-ABSA) electropolymerized on glassy carbon electrode (GCE). The assembly process consisted of two steps: the ion-exchange and coordination of Cu2+ with the sulfonic groups contained in poly-ABSA film, and the subsequent in-situ reduction of Cu2+ ions to Cu-NPs by electrochemical method. The results of scanning electron microscopy (SEM) showed that Cu-NPs were highly monodispersed in whole poly-ABSA, which was strongly attached to the electrode surface. The modified electrode Cu-NPs/poly-ABSA/GCE was also characterized by cyclic voltammetry (CV) and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS), and exhibited excellent electrocatalytic activity toward the reduction of H2O2 with high stability. Amperometry was used for the determination of H2O2 at a more positive potential of -0.2 V versus Ag/AgCl in pH 7.0 phosphate buffer solution, with a linear range from 0.2 mu M to 2.32 mM and a detection limit of 0.1 mu M. The Cu-NPs/poly-ABSA/GCE allowed sensitive, stable and fast amperometric sensing of H2O2, and this was promising for the development of nonenzymatic sensors. The analysis of medical disinfection solution real samples was performed using the proposed method, and the obtained results were satisfactory. (C) 2015 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.

Abstract:Here, we design and synthesize a novel 2D Cu-tetrakis(4-carboxyphenyl)porphyrin (TCPP) metal–organic framework (MOF) sheet and ultrasmall Cu5.4O nanoparticle (Cu5.4O USNP) hybrid (Cu-TCPP MOF/Cu5.4O nanocomposite). The graphene-like ultrathin Cu-TCPP MOF sheets offer high surface-to-volume atom ratios and many active sites, which is beneficial for loading more Cu5.4O USNPs. The Cu5.4O USNPs with ultrasmall size (<5 nm) have promising conductivity and excellent enzymatic ability for H2O2. The successfully prepared nanocomposites are characterized by transmission electron microscopy (TEM), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), X-ray diffraction (XRD), and Fourier transform infrared (FT-IR) techniques. The 2D graphene-like ultrathin Cu-TCPP MOF sheets show no H2O2-sensing signals, whereas Cu5.4O USNPs exhibit a clear reduction peak for detection of H2O2. Interestingly, the combination of two kinds of nanomaterials improved the H2O2 sensing ability due to their synergistic effect. The properties of the unmodified electrodes and the Cu-TCPP MOF/Cu5.4O nanocomposite-modified electrodes were systemically studied by cyclic voltammetry (CV), current-time (i-t) response, and square-wave voltammetry (SWV) techniques. The electrochemical sensor for the detection of H2O2 based on the Cu-TCPP MOF/Cu5.4O nanocomposite has a lower detection limit of 0.13 μmol·L−1 and wider linear range of 0.1 × 10−6 ~ 0.59 × 10−3 mol·L−1 and 1.59 × 10−3 ~ 20.59 × 10−3 mol·L−1 when compared with the Cu5.4O USNPs-modified electrode. The electrochemical sensor can be further used to detect H2O2 produced by cells.

Abstract:Copper nanoparticles are used in several areas related to nanotechnology, including biomedicine, pharmaceuticals, bioremediation, molecular biology, bioengineering, genetic engineering, colour degradation, catalysis, cosmetics, and textiles. The structural features and biological impacts of copper nanoparticles show promise in the realm of life sciences, particularly in the development of biosensors. In this study, copper nanoparticles (Cu NPs) were synthesized, characterized, and used to modify glassy electrodes for the electrochemical analysis of hydrogen peroxide. The copper nanoparticles were prepared using a chemical reduction process and analyzed using SEM, XRD, TEM, and AFM. Using the spin coating process, the synthesized nanoparticles were used to create a thin film electrode. The CV Studies (CV Curve, Current VS Hydrogen peroxide) demonstrate that the Cu NP electrode is effective for the selective determination of hydrogen peroxide even in the presence of ascorbic and uric acid. The observed linear range of Cu NP for hydrogen peroxide was 0.5M to 2.5M, with a detection limit of 3.94M. It was established that newly developed thin film copper nanoparticles are suitable for non-enzymatic hydrogen peroxide measurement. As a result, it has the potential to be used for detection in real-life samples such as human blood serum.

Abstract:Fabrication of non-enzymatic electrochemical sensors based on metal oxides with low valence-state for nanomolar detection of H2O2 has been a great challenge. In this work, a novel neuron-network-like Cu-MoO2/C hierarchical structure was simply prepared by in-situ pyrolysis of 3D bimetallic-organic framework [Cu(Mo2O7)L]n [L: N-(pyridin-3-ylmethyl)pyridine-2-amine] crystals. Meanwhile, the MoO2/C nano-aggregates were also obtained by liquid phase copper etching. Subsequently, two non-enzymatic electrochemical sensors were fabricated by simple drop-coating of the above two materials on the surface of glassy carbon electrode (GCE). Electrochemical measurements indicate that the Cu-MoO2/C/GCE possesses highly efficient electrocatalytic H2O2 property during wider linear range of 0.24 μM∼3.27 mM. At room temperature, the Cu-MoO2/C composite displays higher sensitivity (233.4 μA·mM-1·cm-2) and lower limit of detection (LOD = 85 nM), which are 1 and 2.5 times larger than those of MoO2/C material, respectively. Such excellent ability for trace H2O2 detection mainly originates from the synergism of neuron-network-like structure, enhanced electrical conductivity and increased active sites caused by low valence-state MoO2 and co-doping of Cu and carbon, and even the interaction between Cu and Mo. In addition, the H2O2 detection in spiked human serum and commercially real samples indicates that the Cu-MoO2/C/GCE sensor has certain potential application in the fields of environment and biology.

Abstract:Hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) is the most significant reactive oxygen species in biological systems. Here, we reported an electrochemical sensor for the detection of H2O2 on the basis of bimetallic gold-platinum nanoparticles (Au3Pt7 NPs) supported by Co-based metal organic frameworks (Co-MOFs). First, Au3Pt7 NPs, with optimal electrocatalytic activity and accessible active surface, can be deposited on the surface of the Co-MOF-modified glassy carbon electrodes (Au3Pt7/Co-MOFs/GCE) by one-step electrodeposition method. Then, the electrochemical results demonstrated that the two-dimensional (2D) Co-MOF nanosheets as the supporting material displayed better electrocatalytic properties than the 3D Co-MOF crystals for reduction of H2O2. The fabricated Au3Pt7/2D Co-MOF exhibited high electrocatalytic activity, and the catalytic current was linear with H2O2 concentration from 0.1 μM to 5 mM, and 5-60 mM with a low detection limit of 0.02 μM (S/N = 3). The remarkable electroanalytical performance of Au3Pt7/2D Co-MOF can be attributed to the synergistic effect of the high dispersion of the Au3Pt7 NPs with the marvelous electrochemical properties and the 2D Co-MOF with high-specific surface areas. Furthermore, this sensor has been utilized to detect H2O2 concentrations released from the human Hela cells. This work provides a new method for improving the performance of electrochemical sensors by choosing the proper support materials from diverse crystal morphology materials.

Abstract:A two-dimensional (2D) Ni based metal-organic framework (MOF) nanosheets were synthesized using a one-step solvent-thermal method. The as-prepared nanosheets were characterized by transmission electron microscopy (TEM), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), powder X-ray diffraction (XRD) and energy disperse spectroscopy (EDS) mapping. Ni-MOF nanosheet was first time found to used as a peroxidase mimetic with catalytic activities and could catalyze the oxidation of the substrate 3,3,5,5-tetramethylbenzidine (TMB) in the presence of hydrogen peroxide (H2O2). Catalytic mechanism analysis suggested the enzymatic kinetics of Ni-MOF nanosheets followed typical Michaelis-Menten theory and Ni-MOF nanosheets possess a higher affinity for two substrates (TMB and H2O2) than horseradish peroxidase (HRP). Furthermore, Ni-MOF nanosheet was applied to establish an H2O2 colorimetric sensor which deserves a wide linear range of 0.04 ~ 160 μM and a low detection limit of 8 nM. Also the application of this sensor for H2O2 detection in human serum and disinfectant was demonstrated and satisfactory results were obtained. Thus, the simple and sensitive Ni-MOF/TMB/H2O2 colorimetric system has great promising applications in clinical medicine and food environment analysis.

Abstract:Metal-oxide nano-porous microstructures have shown high electrocatalytic activity toward hydrogen peroxide oxidation. In this paper, we establish the copper oxide (CuO) porous hollow structures via the hydrothermal method using pluronic F-127 as a surfactant. The electrochemical performance involves the oxidation between Cu(I) and Cu(II) at room temperature. For verifying the formation of the desired morphology of CuO porous hollow structures, the scanning electron microscopy, Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), Raman spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction spectroscopy and H2-temperature-programmed reduction (TPR) were applied. The synthesized samples are hollow microstructures which are formed by CuO nanoparticles. The achieved CuO hollow structures exhibit excellent H2O2 detection properties such as a very low detection limit of 141.1 nM, an extremely wide dynamic detection range of 50 nM–70 mM, an outstanding sensitivity of 13.7 µA µM−1 cm−2 and satisfactory stability in alkaline solution. The good tolerance toward interfering species, the satisfactory behaviour in repeatability and reproducibility and favourable stability verified the promising performance of the proposed sensor.

Abstract:Main observation and conclusion Cu-based metal organic frameworks (MOFs) are regarded as promising sensing materials, which have abundant metal sites, large surface area and simple synthesis processes. In this work, a novel three-dimensional flower-like Cu-MOF was synthesized, which was combined with ultra-thin MXene nanosheets to construct a novel electrochemical sensor for H2O2. During the electrocatalytic reduction of H2O2, the catalytic activity of Cu-MOF/MXene/GCE results in the ultra-sensitive detection of H2O2 owing to the structure properties of MOFs, the nature of Cu-contained nanomaterials as well as the high electrical conductivity of MXene. The Cu-MOF/MXene/GCE showed a wide linear range from 1 mu mol/L to 6.12 mmol/L using chronoamperometry at the detection potential of -0.35 V, and the detection limit is estimated to be 0.35 mu mol/L. The sensor also shows good anti-interference due to the lower detection potential, specific catalysis of Cu-MOF to H2O2, which promises the sensor good selectivity in complexed samples. Meanwhile, the electrochemical sensor is capable to detect H2O2 in milk and serum samples with satisfactory recoveries. The ultra-sensitivity, rapid detection, and easy operation of the proposed sensor present significant prospect for real-time analysis and monitoring of H2O2 in foods and biological samples.
Interfacial Engineering of Hierarchical Transition Metal Oxide Heterostructures for Highly Sensitive Sensing of Hydrogen Peroxide.

Abstract:Hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) is a major messenger molecule in cellular signal transduction. Direct detection of H2O2 in complex environments provides the capability to illuminate its various biological functions. With this in mind, a novel electrochemical approach is here proposed by integrating a series of CoO nanostructures on CuO backbone at electrode interfaces. High-resolution transmission electron microscopy (HRTEM), X-ray diffraction, and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy demonstrate successful formation of core-shell CuO-CoO hetero-nanostructures. Theoretical calculations further confirm energy-favorable adsorption of H2O2 on surface sites of CuO-CoO heterostructures. Contributing to the efficient electron transfer path and enhanced capture of H2O2 in the unique leaf-like CuO-CoO hierarchical 3D interface, an optimal biosensor-based CuO-CoO-2.5 h electrode exhibits an ultrahigh sensitivity (6349 mu A m m(-1) cm(-2)), excellent selectivity, and a wide detection range for H2O2, and is capable of monitoring endogenous H2O2 derived from human lung carcinoma cells A549. The synergistic effects for enhanced H2O2 adsorption in integrated CuO-CoO nanostructures and performance of the sensor suggest a potential for exploring pathological and physiological roles of reactive oxygen species like H2O2 in biological systems.
High catalytic performance non-enzymatic H2O2 sensor based on Cu2O@Cu9S5 yolk-shell nanospheres

Abstract:It is urgent to develop highly active catalysts toward hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) sensor in many industrial and biological processes, which usually is limited by high cost of instrumentation requirements and low-accuracy detection at low level. Herein, Cu2O@Cu9S5 yolk-shell nanospheres has been synthesized via a facial wet chemical method and applied as electrocatalyst for non-enzymatic H2O2 sensor. These Cu2O@Cu9S5 yolk-shell nanospheres with mean sizes of 230 nm consisting of Cu2O conductive core and Cu9S5 shell show numerous advantageous characteristics of well-sustained structural integrity, the homogeneous particle size distribution and visible mesoporosity morphology. The significantly improved electrocatalytic activity by catalyzing H2O2 of the Cu2O@Cu9S5 yolk-shell nanospheres as a sensor has been obtained by comparing with those neat Cu2O nanospheres and Cu9S5 hollow nanospheres. This noticeable property is largely due to the synergistic catalysis effect of the contribution of the Cu2O and Cu9S5. Cu2O@Cu9S5 yolk-shell nanospheres based non-enzymatic H2O2 sensor displays the relatively wide linear range from 0.1 μM to 3.5 mM with a high sensitivity of 299.74 μA mM−1 cm−2 but low detection limit of 28.83 nM (S/N ≥ 3) for electrochemical detection of H2O2, which is potentially superior to other similar Cu2O-based sensors that has been reported in the literatures. Additionally, this sensor also demonstrates excellent selectivity of H2O2 in the presence of various coactive interferences. This novel Cu2O@Cu9S5 yolk-shell nanospheres electrocatalyst provides a broad application prospect for H2O2 sensing.

Abstract:In the present work, ultrafine Cu 2 O nanoparticles decorated MnO 2 nanocomposite (Cu 2 O@MnO 2 ) was prepared by the in-situ growth method. The morphologies of nanomaterials were characterized by transmission electron microscopy, scanning electron microscopy, X-ray diffraction, and Raman spectroscopy, respectively. The poor electrical conductivity of MnO 2 nanosheets and the severe aggregation of Cu 2 O nanoparticles could be sufficiently overcome through the formation of nanocomposite. The electrochemical results proved that the Cu 2 O@MnO 2 nanocomposite exhibited a better electrocatalytic effect towards the reduction of H 2 O 2 than pure MnO 2 nanosheets and Cu 2 O nanoparticles due to the synergistic effect between these materials. Under the optimal condition, H 2 O 2 could be detected in the range of 0.5–20 μM with a detection limit of 0.2 μM. The modified electrode exhibited satisfactory stability and reproducibility, and could be used to detect H 2 O 2 in real sample. The results revealed that nanocomposites containing different metal oxides owned great potential application in designing high performance non-enzymatic electrochemical sensors.

Abstract:A co-based porous metal-organic framework (MOF) of zeolitic imidazolate framework-67 (ZIF-67) and carbon nanofibers (CNFs) was utilized to prepare a ZIF-67/CNFs composite via a one-pot synthesis method. Scanning electron microscopy (SEM), energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDX), and X-ray diffraction (XRD) were employed to investigate the morphology, structure, and composition of the resulting composite. A novel high-performance non-enzymatic electrochemical sensor was constructed based on the ZIF-67/CNFs composite. The ZIF-67/CNFs based sensor exhibited enhanced electrocatalytic activity towards H2O2 compared to a pure ZIF-67-based sensor, due to the synergistic effects of ZIF-67 and CNFs. Meanwhile, chronoamperometry was utilized to explore the detection performance of the sensor. Results showed the sensor displayed high-efficiency electrocatalysis towards H2O2 with a detection limit of 0.62 μM (S/N = 3), a sensitivity of 323 μA mM−1 cm−2, a linear range from 0.0025 to 0.19 mM, as well as satisfactory selectivity and long-term stability. Furthermore, the sensor demonstrated its application potential in the detection of H2O2 in food.

Abstract:Cu-MOFs are exciting materials with lots of unique characteristics which will be suitable for sensing applications. To date, there have not been any published review on the suitability and efficiency of Cu-MOFs on hydrogen peroxide sensing, despite its huge potential in this regard. This systematic review assessed published articles on the subject using the Web of Science. The included studies were assessed in terms of quality using the risk of bias assessment criteria. Out of the 101 screened articles, 50 studies were eligible and included in this review. Non-enzymatic detection of hydrogen peroxide using copper-based MOFs exhibited better performance in terms of limit of detection, sensitivity, and linear response than enzyme-assisted detection. Ligand type and Cu-MOF synthetic techniques demonstrated a great effect on the structural property of the synthesized MOF, which in turn improved its catalytic property. Based on the available data in the reviewed articles. Cu-MOFs has great potential for use as commercial hydrogen peroxide sensor. The successful design of a sensitive, accurate, and stable hydrogen peroxide sensor will be a significant breakthrough for industrial, medical, and environmental applications.

Abstract:We report the synthesis of Fe3O4/graphene (Fe3O4/Gr) nanocomposite for highly selective and highly sensitive peroxide sensor application. The nanocomposites were produced by a modified co-precipitation method. Further, structural, chemical, and morphological characterization of the Fe3O4/Gr was investigated by standard characterization techniques, such as X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), transmission electron microscope (TEM) and high-resolution TEM (HRTEM), Fourier transform infrared (FTIR), and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS). The average crystal size of Fe3O4 nanoparticles was calculated as 14.5 nm. Moreover, nanocomposite (Fe3O4/Gr) was employed to fabricate the flexible electrode using polymeric carbon fiber cloth or carbon cloth (pCFC or CC) as support. The electrochemical performance of as-fabricated Fe3O4/Gr/CC was evaluated toward H2O2 with excellent electrocatalytic activity. It was found that Fe3O4/Gr/CC-based electrodes show a good linear range, high sensitivity, and a low detection limit for H2O2 detection. The linear range for the optimized sensor was found to be in the range of 10–110 μM and limit of detection was calculated as 4.79 μM with a sensitivity of 0.037 μA μM−1 cm−2. The cost-effective materials used in this work as compared to noble metals provide satisfactory results. As well as showing high stability, the proposed biosensor is also highly reproducible.

Abstract:Detection of H2O2 levels is highly in demand as they are related with several environmental and medical applications. H2O2 is a reactive oxygen species that plays a crucial role in various cell functions thus it is considered as a potential biomarker. Novel 3D/2D SnO2 micro-nanostructures (with dimensions of 3D: B≈1 µm×L≈10 µm×T≈1 µm; 2D structures ranging<100 nm) modified on glassy carbon electrodes (SnO2/GCE) displayed an electrocatalytic redox behaviour against H2O2 on an alkaline based electrolyte medium illustrated using a three-electrode system. This is the first time hybrid morphology with 2D/3D structures of SnO2 is developed. SnO2/GCE was tested for H2O2 concentration ranging from 2.45 to 24.5 μM. The LOD of the sensor was observed to be 4.09 μM within the measured concentration limits. The sensors exhibited an ultra-high sensitivity value of 108 mA.mM−1.cm−2. All the linear fits are exhibiting higher accuracy with R2 of 0.99. Hybrid morphology of SnO2 acts as promising sensing material independently for detection of H2O2 even in alkaline medium with pH of 12. Also, it should be noted that electrochemical sensing of SnO2 alone is tested depicting better properties whereas commonly hybrid, composite materials are used for sensing applications.

Template-Assisted Electrodeposited Copper Nanostructres for Selective Detection of Hydrogen Peroxide

Abstract:In this study, we demonstrate the electrodeposition of copper nanoparticles (NPs) on pencil graphite electrodes (PGEs) utilizing sodium dodecyl sulphate (SDS) as a soft template. The utilization of the surfactant had an impact on both the physical arrangement and electrochemical characteristics of the modified electrodes. The prepared Cu-SDS/PGE electrodes had hierarchical dendritic structures of copper NPs, thereby increasing the surface area and electrochemical catalytic activity in comparison with Cu/PGE electrodes. The Cu-SDS/PGE electrode showed excellent catalytic activity in reducing hydrogen peroxide, resulting in the sensitive and selective detection of hydrogen peroxide. The electrode exhibited a good sensitivity of 21.42 μA/μM/cm2, a lower limit of detection 0.35, and a response time of less than 2 s over a wide range spanning 1 μM to 1 mM of hydrogen peroxide concentrations. The electrodes were also highly selective for H2O2 with minimal interference from other analytes even at concentrations higher than that of H2O2. The approach offers the benefit of electrode preparation in just 5 min, followed by analysis in 10 min, and enables for the quantitative determination of hydrogen peroxide within 30 min. This can be achieved utilizing a newly prepared, cost-effective electrode without the need for complex procedures.

Abstract:A novel electrochemical hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) sensor based on Cu-porphyrin(Cu-TCPP)/G-quadruplex-hemin nanocomposite was constructed by assembling two-dimensional Cu-TCPP metal–organic framework (MOF) nanofilm and G-quadruplex-hemin DNAzyme. The Cu-TCPP synthesized by the surfactant-assisted method has a wrinkled two-dimensional nanofilm morphology, which gives it a large surface area and accessible active sites. Cu-TCPP exhibits peroxidase activity and good stability and can catalyze the reduction of H2O2. In addition, Cu-TCPP can be used as a nanocarrier for G-quadruplex-hemin DNAzyme with strong peroxidase activity to achieve "biological barcode" amplification and improve stability. The cooperative interaction of Cu-TCPP and G-quadruplex-hemin DNAzyme effectively amplifies the electrochemical response signal. Electrochemical studies have shown that the constructed sensor exhibits good electrochemical sensing performance with three linear ranges: 0.08 μM to 0.11 mM, 0.11–0.91 mM, and 0.91–8.1 mM, with sensitivities of 2315.86, 301.00, and 65.71 μA/(mM cm2), respectively, and the detection limit was 0.03 μM. In addition, the sensor shows good selectivity. Abstract:Enzyme-based electrochemical biosensors are promising for a wide range of applications due to their unique specificity and high sensitivity. In this work, we present a novel enzyme bioelectrode for the sensing of hydrogen peroxide (H 2 O 2 ). The molybdenum disulfide nanoflowers (MoS 2 ) is self-assembled on carboxylated carbon nanotubes (CNT) to form a three-dimensional conductive network ( 2 ), which is modified with 1-ethyl-3-methylimidazolium bromide (IL EMB ), and followed by anchoring chloroperoxidase (CPO) onto the nanocomposite ( 2 /IL EMB ) through covalent binding to form a bioconjugate ( 2 /IL EMB /CPO). The IL EMB modified 2 /IL EMB has good hydrophilicity and conductivity, which not only provides a suitable microenvironment for the immobilization of CPO but also facilitates the direct electron transfer (DET) of CPO at the electrode. The 2 /IL EMB /CPO bioconjugate modified electrode has a high catalytic efficiency for H 2 O 2 . Through electroenzymatic synergistic catalysis for H 2 O 2 detection by 2 /IL EMB /CPO-GCE, a wide detection range of 0.2 μmol·L −1 to 997 μmol·L −1 and a low detection limit of 0.097 μmol・L -1 with high sensitivity of 1050 μA·mmol·L -1 ·cm -2 were achieved. Additionally, the 2 /IL EMB /CPO-GCE displayed exceptional stability, selectivity, and reproducibility. Furthermore, 2 /IL EMB /CPO-GCE is suitable for sensing of H 2 O 2 in human urine s with good recovery, suggesting its potential application for the detection of H 2 O 2 in biomedical field.

Abstract:In this paper, integrating heterometallic units and nanostructures into metal–organic frameworks (MOFs) were applied to improve the sensitivity of detecting hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) in neutral solution. The bimetal-MOFs (CuCo-BDC) and GO composite (CuCo-BDC/GO) were first synthesized via an ordinary one-step solvothermal synthesis. The CuCo-BDC/GO with admirable peroxidase-like catalytic activity could be applied to detect H2O2. The results have low detection limit of 69 nM (S/N = 3) and a wide linear detection range, from 100 nM to 3.5 mM. This is superior to recently published biosensors based on noble metal nanomaterials, which confirms CuCo-BDC/GO as the MOF electrocatalysts with high performance. The remarkable electroanalytical performance of CuCo-BDC/GO is due to the presence of numerous open metal active sites, the synergistic effect of Cu2+ and Co2+, hierarchical structure with high-specific surface areas and the marvelous electrochemical properties of GO. Therefore, CuCo-BDC/GO is a powerful candidate for detecting H2O2 in electrochemical biosensing fields. Moreover, H2O2 detection in real samples can be done with the CuCo-BDC/GO, including human serum samples. Therefore, the novel CuCo-BDC/GO is a promising catalyst that can be applied in biotechnological and environmental applications.
