Abstract:Purpose The purpose of this study is to examine the flow and heat transfer performance of titanium oxide/water and copper/water nanofluids with varying nanoparticle morphologies by considering magnetic, Joule heating and viscous dissipation effects. Furthermore, it studies the irreversibility caused by the flow of a hydromagnetic nanofluid past a radiated stretching sheet by considering different shapes of TiO 2 and Cu nanoparticles with water as the base fluid. Design/methodology/approach In this study, the authors investigated entropy production in an unsteady two-dimensional magneto-hydrodynamic nanofluid regime using water as the base fluid and five unique TiO 2 and Cu nanoparticle morphologies. Using appropriate similarity transformations, the controlling nonlinear system of partial differential equations is transformed into a system of ordinary differential equations. The shooting technique with Runge–Kutta method was then used to solve these equations quantitatively. The findings of this study are depicted graphically, and the skin friction corresponding to various nanoparticle geometries and physical parameter variations is tabulated. Findings To assess the reliability of the current findings, a tabular representation of the data was compared to that of previously published studies. It is noted that a reduction in thermal energy was detected as a result of the higher levels of Prandtl number (Pr). It is further analysed that the highest heat energy generation of TiO 2 nanoparticles was larger than that of Cu nanoparticles. The most important finding was that the sphere-shaped Cu/H 2 O nanofluid had the lowest velocity and greatest temperature. Also, Cu nanoparticles in the shape of platelets generate the most entropy, while TiO 2 nanoparticles in the shape of spheres generate the least. Originality/value To the best of the knowledge of the authors, the attempt to investigate the previously unexplored shape effects of TiO 2 and Cu nanoparticles on the heat transfer enhancement and inherent irreversibility caused by hydromagnetic nanofluid flow past a radiated stretching sheet with magnetic, Joule heating and viscous dissipation effects. This study fills this gap in the existing literature and encourages scientists, engineers and businesses to do more research in this area. This model can be used to improve heat transfer in systems that use renewable energy, thermal management in industry and the processing of materials.

Abstract:Abstract The mathematical model of heat generation and dissipation during thermal energy transmission employing nanoparticles in a Newtonian medium is investigated. Dimensionless boundary layer equations with correlations for titanium dioxide, copper oxide, and aluminium oxide are solved by the finite element method. Parameters are varied to analyze their impact on the flow fields. Various numerical experiments are performed consecutively to explore the phenomenon of thermal performance of the combination fluid. A remarkable enhancement in thermal performance is noticed when solid structures are dispersed in the working fluid. The Biot number determines the convective nature of the boundary. When the Biot number is increased, the fluid temperature decreases significantly. Among copper oxide, aluminium oxide, and titanium oxide nanoparticles, copper oxide nanoparticles are found to be the most effective thermal enhancers.

Abstract:Hybrid nanofluids' enhanced thermal efficiency has important applications in many fields of industry and engineering. The goal of this study is to find out how different thermal conductivity models affect important factors in the Darcy-Forchheimer flow and heat transfer of a hybrid nanofluid made of Al2O3 - Cu and water across a moving surface that can let some fluid pass through it. Magnetohydrodynamics (MHD), thermal radiation, joule heating, and viscous dissipation are all included in the study. Partial differential equations (PDEs) are made more manageable by reducing them to a set of ordinary differential equations (ODEs) via a similarity transformation. After that, Mathematica’s shooting technique and the Runge-Kutta algorithm are used to numerically solve these ODEs. The study analyzes the effects of key factors on the major physical quantities of interest and presents the findings graphically and tabularly. The research also shows that differing thermal conductivity models lead to significantly varied average Nusselt values. The rate of heat transmission improves with the addition of (&phi;2 and S. The Xue model in the hybrid nanofluid shows a 0.7&#37; increase in heat transfer rate compared to the nanofluid, while the Maxwell model shows a 0.64&#37; increase and the Yamada-Ota model shows a 1.01&#37; increase. Importantly, for all the considered models of thermal conductivity, the research shows that the average Nusselt number increases linearly with the nanoparticle volume percentage. Finally, the data shows that the Yamada-Ota model consistently produces far higher average Nusselt values than the other models.

Abstract:The main purpose of this research is to investigate a mathematical model of nanofluid passing through a stretching sheet having titanium dioxide (TiO2) , copper oxide (CuO) , and carbon nanotubes (CNTs) as nanoparticles, and sodium alginate is used as a base fluid. The present model can be very useful for numerous fields like Bioengineering, science, and technology. The main reason for using titanium dioxide, copper oxide, and carbon nanotubes nanoparticles as nanomaterials they have many applications in several areas. Moreover, impacts of non-linear thermal radiation and entropy generations are taken into account. By utilizing the similarity transformation technique given system of governing PDEs are transformed into a set of ODE. Then dimensionless equations are numerically tackled via the Keller box method a built-in function in the computer tool MATLAB. To support the present study, physical and numerical interpretations of involved parameters against velocity, temperature, and entropy generation profiles are also presented. From the analysis it is concluded that the combination of a magnetic field and suction reduces the rate of fluid mobility due to the synchronization of the magnetic and electric fields generated by the formation of the Lorentz force. In addition, boosting the thermal radiation parameter raises the present authors' heat transfer rate. The velocity profile drops when the Casson parameter is raised, but the heat and entropy production profiles grow. When the porosity parameter is increased, the velocity profile falls, and the heat and entropy production profiles rise. Additionally the temperature distribution is boosted up with increasing the values of nanoparticles volume fraction. The good agreement between current results and published data is observed. It is necessary to investigate the thermophysical characteristics of the magnetite nanofluid (titanium dioxide, copper oxide, and carbon nanotubes-sodium alginate nanofluid) under various situations. The MHD flow of nanofluid is significant because of its wide range of industrial uses, including flows over the tips of rockets, planes, submarines, and oil tankers. The novelty of this work is to scrutinize the MHD flow and heat transfer analysis of a nanofluid towards a stretched surface. The features of magnetite nanofluid (titanium dioxide, copper oxide, and carbon nanotubes-sodium alginate nanofluid) under entropy generation, thermal radiation and velocity slip are investigated. All of this contributes to the work's uniqueness and novel.

Abstract:The mathematical modeling of two-dimensional unsteady free convective flow and thermal transport inside a half-moon shaped domain charged in the presence of uniform/non-uniform temperature and magnetic effects with Brownian motion of the nanoparticles has been conducted. Thirty-two types of nanofluids in a combination of various nanoparticles and base fluids having different sizes, shapes, and solid concentrations of nanoparticles are chosen to examine the better performance of heat transfer. The circular boundary is cooled while the diameter boundary is heated with uniform/non-uniform temperature. An external uniform/non-uniform/periodic magnetic field is imposed along diameter. The powerful partial differential equations solver, finite element method of Galerkin type, has been engaged in numerical simulation. The numerical solution's heat transfer mechanism reaches a steady state from the unsteady situation within a very short dimensionless time of about 0.65. The thermal transport rate enhances for increasing buoyancy force whereas decreases with higher magnetic intensity. The uniform thermal condition along the diameter of half-moon gives a higher thermal transport rate compared to non-uniform heating conditions. The non-uniform magnetic field provides greater values of the mean Nusselt number than the uniform field. In addition, the outcomes also predict that a better rate of temperature transport for kerosene-based nanofluid than water-based, ethylene glycol-based, and engine oil-based nanofluid. The heat transfer rate is observed at about 67.86 and 23.78% using Co-Kerosene and Co-water nanofluids, respectively, with an additional 1% nanoparticles volume fraction. The blade shape nanoparticles provide a better heat transfer rate than spherical, cylindrical, brick, and platelet shapes. Small size nanoparticles confirm a higher value of average Nusselt number than big size. Mean Nusselt number increases 22.1 and 5.4% using 1% concentrated Cu-water and Cu-engine oil nanofluid, respectively than base fluid.

Abstract:The ternary nanofluids are significantly enhanced the thermal conductivity and heat transfer performance of conventional nanofluids. These fluids magnify the thermal properties like coolants in heat transport equipment such as electronic cooling, radiators and heat exchangers. In light of aforementioned importance, the aim of ongoing research is to investigate the thermal performance of water-based ternary nanoliquid which contains metallic and oxide nanoparticles (MoS 2 , SiO 2 , Au) through a cylinder subject to normal magnetic field, combined convection, resistive heating and internal heating species. By including these significant physical contribution; basic model transformed into final form and then investigated via RK-technique coupling with shooting scheme. The results for the heat transfer in ternary, hybrid and conventional nanoliquids are simulated under increasing parametric values. It is scrutinized that the amount of MoS 2 nanoparticles from 0.1 to 0.6% and Ec (Eckert number) from to effectively enhanced the fluid of the functional fluids. In the presence of internal heating species, the rapid increase in the temperature in ternary nanoliquid is examined than that of hybrid and simple fluids. Further, the shear drag on the cylinder surface improved when the strength of mixed convection increased while these effects are better to control the temperature over the working domain.

Abstract:This study of synovial fluid was conducted by considering two different nanofluid models over a two-dimensional stretched surface using nanoparticles of different shapes. We obtained remarkable results regarding the impact of nanoparticles on thermal performance. Through this study, we assessed heat and mass transfer and the involvement of magnetic dipole of chemically reactive species in two-dimensional steady incompressible flow. Heat generation was incorporated in the energy equation and a first-order chemical reaction was involved in the mass transport phenomenon. The concept of boundary layer was adopted to derive the physical problem in Cartesian coordinates, with results in the form of coupled partial differential equations (PDEs). The derived PDEs were highly non-linear, and exact solutions were not possible. Therefore, the PDEs were converted into non-linear ordinary differential equations (ODEs) using appropriate similarity transformation and then solved numerically via the finite element method. The impact of numerous emerging parameters on the solutions are displayed graphically, and the physical significance is discussed. An increment in S c , K c , and γ decelerated the solute field, while the concentration gradient increased with enhancement in S c . Maximum acceleration in velocity for model-I was produced compared to acceleration in the velocity field for model-II.

Abstract:Energy loss during the transportation of energy is the main concern of researchers and industrialists. The primary cause of heat exchange gadget inefficiency during transportation was applied to traditional fluids with weak heat transfer characteristics. Instead, thermal devices worked much better when the fluids were changed to nanofluids that had good thermal transfer properties. A diverse range of nanoparticles were implemented on account of their elevated thermal conductivity. This research addresses the significance of MHD Maxwell nanofluid for heat transfer flow. The flow model comprised continuity, momentum, energy transport, and concentration equations in the form of PDEs. The developed model was converted into ODEs by using workable similarities. Numerical simulations in the MATLAB environment were employed to find the outcomes of velocity, thermal transportation, and concentration profiles. The effects of many parameters, such as Hartman, Deborah, buoyancy, the intensity of an external heat source, chemical reactions, and many others, were also evaluated. The presence of nanoparticles enhances temperature conduction. Also, the findings are compared with previously published research. In addition, the Nusselt number and skin friction increase as the variables associated with the Hartman number and buoyancy parameter grow. The respective transfer rates of heat are 28.26 and 38.19 respectively. As a result, the rate of heat transmission increased by 14.23 . The velocity profiles enhanced while temperature profiles declined for higher values of the Maxwell fluid parameter. As the external heat source increases, the temperature profile rises. Conversely, buoyancy parameters increase as it descends. This type of problem is applicable in many fields such as heat exchangers, cooling of electronic devices, and automotive cooling systems.

Abstract:This comparative study inspects the heat transfer characteristics of magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) nanofluid flow. The model employed is a two-phase fluid flow model. Water is utilized as the base fluid, and zinc and titanium oxide (Zn and TiO2) are used as two different types of nanoparticles. The rotation of nanofluid is considered along the z-axis, with velocity ω*. A similarity transformation is used to transform the leading structure of partial differential equations to ordinary differential equations. By using a powerful mathematical BVP-4C technique, numerical results are obtained. This study aims to describe the possessions of different constraints on temperature and velocity for rotating nanofluid with a magnetic effect. The outcomes for the rotating nanofluid flow and heat transference properties for both types of nanoparticles are highlighted with the help of graphs and tables. The impact of physical concentrations such as heat transference rates and coefficients of skin friction are examined. It is noted that rotation increases the heat flux and decreases skin friction. In this comparative study, Zn-water nanofluid was demonstrated to be a worthy heat transporter as compared to TiO2-water nanofluid.

Abstract:Purpose Scientists have been conducting trials to find ways to reduce fuel consumption and enhance heat transfer rates to make heating systems more efficient and cheaper. Adding solid nanoparticles to conventional liquids may greatly improve their thermal conductivity, according to the available evidence. This study aims to examine the influence of external magnetic flux on the flow of a mixed convective Maxwell hybrid non-Newtonian nanofluid over a linearly extending porous flat plate. The investigation considers the effects of thermal radiation, Dufour and Soret. Design/methodology/approach The mathematical model is formulated based on the fundamental assumptions of mass, energy and momentum conservation. The implicit models are epitomized by a set of interconnected nonlinear partial differential equations, which include a suitable and comparable adjustment. The numerical solution to these equations is assessed for approximate convergence by the Runge−Kutta−Fehlberg method based on the shooting technique embedded with the MATLAB software. Findings The findings are presented through graphical representations, offering a visual exploration of the effects of various dynamic parameters on the flow field. These parameters encompass a wide range of factors, including radiation, thermal and Brownian diffusion parameters, Eckert, Lewis and Soret numbers, magnetic parameters, Maxwell fluid parameters, Darcy numbers, thermal and solutal buoyancy factors, Dufour and Prandtl numbers. Notably, the authors observed that nanoparticles with a spherical shape exerted a significant influence on the stream function, highlighting the importance of nanoparticle geometry in fluid dynamics. Furthermore, the analysis revealed that temperature profiles of nanomaterials were notably affected by their shape factor, while concentration profiles exhibited an opposite trend, providing valuable insights into the behavior of nanofluids in porous media. Originality/value A distinctive aspect of the research lies in its novel exploration of the impact of external magnetic flux on the flow of a mixed convective Maxwell hybrid non-Newtonian nanofluid over a linearly extending porous flat plate. By considering variables such as solar radiation, external magnetic flux, thermal and Brownian diffusion parameters and nanoparticle shape factor, the authors ventured into uncharted territory within the realm of fluid dynamics. These variables, despite their significant relevance, have not been extensively studied in previous research, thus underscoring the originality and value of the authors' contribution to the field.

Abstract:Nanofluid is a specially crafted fluid comprising a pure fluid with dispersed nanometer-sized particles. Incorporation these nanoparticles into pure fluid results in a fluid with improved thermal properties in comparison of pure fluid. The enhanced properties of nanofluids make them highly sought after, in diverse applications, consisting of coolant of devices, heat exchangers, and thermal solar systems. In this study hybrid nanofluid consisting of copper, alumina and titanium nanoparticles on a curved sheet has investigated with impact of chemical reactivity, magnetic field and Joule heating. The leading equations have converted to normal equations by using appropriate set of variables and has then evaluated by homotopy analysis method. The outcomes are shown through Figures and Tables and are discussed physically. It has revealed in this study that Cu-nanofluid flow has augmented velocity, temperature, and volume fraction distributions than those of Al 2 O 3 -nanofluid and TiO 2 -nanofluid. Also, the Cu-nanofluid flow has higher heat and mass transfer rates than those of Al 2 O 3 -nanofluid and TiO 2 -nanofluid.

Abstract:Nanoparticles have presented various hurdles to the scientific community during the past decade. The nanoparticles dispersed in diverse base fluids can alter the properties of fluid flow and heat transmission. In the current examination, a mathematical model for the 2D magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) Darcy-Forchheimer nanofluid flow across an exponentially contracting sheet is presented. In this mathematical model, the effects of viscous dissipation, joule heating, first-order velocity, and thermal slip conditions are also examined. Using similarity transformations, a system of partial differential equations (PDEs) is converted into a set of ordinary differential equations (ODEs). The problem is quantitatively solved using the three-step Lobatto-three formula. This research studied the effects of the dimensionlessness, magnetic field, ratio of rates, porosity, Eckert number, Prandtl number, and coefficient of inertia characteristics on fluid flow. Multiple solutions were observed. In the first solution, the increased magnetic field, porosity parameter, slip effect, and volume percentage of the copper parameters reduce the velocity field along the η-direction. In the second solution, the magnetic field, porosity parameter, slip effect, and volume percentage of the copper parameters increase the η-direction velocity field. For engineering purposes, the graphs show the impacts of factors on the Nusselt number and skin friction. Finally, the stability analysis was performed to determine which solution was the more stable of the two.

Abstract:Modern Physics Letters B, Ahead of Print. This investigation uses the Tiwari and Das nanofluid model to enhance the heat transfer rate in Sutterby nanofluid over a Riga plate. The effects of heat source/sink, viscosity dispersion, and mass flow for water-based fluids are also considered in this work. Sutterby fluid has been utilized to investigate the rheological features of nanofluids. The transverse Lorentz force produced by the Riga plate assists in the flow down the plate by producing an electromagnetic field. The main aim of this investigation is to evaluate the presence of two different types of nanoparticles in water, specifically silicon carbide [math] and copper [math]. Dimensionless variables are first used to convert the mathematical model into a non-dimensional form. The similarity approach is then used to further rewrite the non-dimensional partial differential equations into a set of similarity equations. The bvp4c function in MATLAB software provides a numerical solution to these equations. The effects on temperature and velocity profiles of many physical factors, including the Reynold number, heat source/sink, and Deborah number, have been analyzed and presented. Furthermore, using tables, a detailed analysis of the skin friction coefficient and local Nusselt numbers is conducted. The results show that convective flow is suppressed when solid nanoparticles are added to the base fluid. The velocity distribution improves as Deborah and Reynold's numbers get a higher value. Also, the temperature field improves by incrementing exponential and thermal heat source/sink parameters.

Abstract:In this communication, the effect of the addition of the copper (Cu), aluminum oxide (Al2O3), and single-wall carbon nanotubes (SWCNTs) metallic nanoparticles on the magnetohydrodynamics (MHD) water-based flow over a porous elastic surface is explored. The objective of the work is to include the radiative effect that interacts with the metallic nanoparticles due to permeability of the surface. The significance of this study stems from the fact that the design of various equipment, such as nuclear power plants, gas turbines, propulsion devices for aircraft, and missiles, is dependent on radiative heat transfer. To formulate the mathematical modelling, similarity transformations were used, and nonlinear differential equations were obtained. To solve the formulated nonlinear differential equations, the Runge–Kutta fourth-order numerical scheme is used in conjunction with the shooting technique. The behavior of velocity profile and temperature profile has been discussed in detail and also engineering quantities such as Nusselt and Sherwood number which are calculated. Numerical Heat Transfer Part A Applications

Abstract:Non-Newtonian nanofluids are attracting the attention of researchers and academics due to the high heat transmission rates that they possess. To improve thermal devices and exchangers, the researchers come up with innovative and expense-effective methods. One of the advanced technological approaches that can be utilized to enhance the thermal performance of devices is the utilization of nanofluids. This non- Newtonian nanofluid possesses the advanced properties of increasing heat transfer and destroying harmful bacteria. For this purpose, the present theoretical work is to explore the heat and thermophoretic particle deposition analysis on the tangent hyperbolic nanofluid flow over the rotating porous disk with presence of non-Fourier heat flux model and nanoparticle aggregation effect. Darcy-Forchheimer fluid model is adopted to develop the fluid flow system. Furthermore, the nanofluid's viscosity and thermal conductivity are expressed through advanced modeling, employing the modified Krieger-Dougherty model for viscosity and the Maxwell-Bruggeman model for thermal conductivity. The nanoparticles and base fluid involved in this context are Molybdenum disulfide (MoS2) and Water/carboxyl-methyl cellulose (CMC) respectively. The mathematical representation of the fluid flow and energy propagation involves a system of coupled partial differential equations (PDEs). The system of partial differential equations (PDEs) is transformed into non-dimensional ordinary differential equations (ODEs), which are then solved both analytically and numerically using the Homotopy Analysis Method(HAM) and Runge-Kutta-Fehlberg (RKF) method along with shooting technique. Exploring the graphical representation reveals a comprehensive analysis of key factors influencing velocity, temperature, and concentration. Through innovative visualization, these parameters take center stage, providing insights into their intricate interplay and dynamic relationships. The heat transfer rate is enhanced 0.24% and 1.4% by rising the values of thermal relaxation parameter and Weissenberg number. Also, the mass transfer rate is accelerated 0.8% and 0.14% due to enhancing the values of thermophoretic coefficient and thermophoresis parameter.

Engineering Applications of Computational Fluid Mechanics

Abstract:This study conducts a comprehensive numerical investigation into enhancing thermal transfer within square enclosures filled with water-based oxide nanoparticle suspensions, subjected to central sinusoidal heating. Further flow configuration, influenced by an inclined magnetic field, is designed with a focus on enhancing thermal efficiency for engineering applications. Key innovations include the application of sinusoidal heating elements to enhance thermal performance significantly. Computational analysis supported by finite element analysis, quantifies the impact of these parameters on flow dynamics and thermal transmission, presenting a substantial advance in the understanding of nanofluid-filled enclosure thermal management. The study reveals that the undulation of the heating element plays a crucial role in the heat transfer rate, with improvements observed as undulation increases. The introduction of magnetic fields further controls flow distribution and buoyancy effects, as demonstrated by our findings that an increase in the Rayleigh number correlates with enhanced convection, dominating the cavity's thermal dynamics. Additionally, the report outlines the conditions under which the Nusselt number increases, indicating enhanced thermal performance. These insights are pivotal for designing optimized heat transfer systems and energy-efficient applications, setting a new benchmark for thermal management strategies in practical engineering contexts.

Abstract:The main theme of the present study is to analyze numerically the effects of the magnetic field on the hybrid nanofluid flow over a flat elastic surface. The effects of the thermal and velocity slips are also analyzed in view of the hybrid nanofluid flow. It is considered a combination of titanium oxide (TiO2) and copper oxide (CuO) nanoparticles that are suspended in the incompressible and electrically conducting fluid (water). The behavior of the Brownian motion of the nanoparticles and the thermophoretic forces are contemplated in the physical and mathematical formulations. Moreover, the impact of the Joule heating and viscous dissipation are also discussed using the energy equation. The mathematical modeling is simulated with the help of similarity variables. The resulting equations are solved using the Keller–Box method with a combination of finite difference schemes (FDSs). Hybrid nanofluids provide significant advantages over the usual heat transfer fluids. Therefore, the use of nanofluids is beneficial to improve the thermophysical properties of the working fluid. All of the results are discussed for the various physical parameters involved in governing the flow. From the graphical results, it is found that the hybrid nanoparticles improve the concentration, temperature, and velocity profiles, as well as the thickness of the relevant boundary layer. The conjunction of a magnetic field and the velocity slip, strongly opposes the fluid motion. The boundary layer thickness and concentration profile are significantly reduced with the higher levels of the Schmidt number.

Abstract:Nanofluids have unique features that make them potentially valuable in a variety of medicinal, technical, and industrial sectors. The widespread applications of nanotechnology in modern science have prompted researchers to study nanofluid models from different perspectives. The objective of the current research is to study the flow of non-Newtonian nanofluid over an inclined stretching surface immersed in porous media by employing the Darcy-Forchheimer model. Both titanium oxide (TiO2) and aluminum oxide (Al2O3) are nanoparticles which can be found in blood (based fluid). The consequences of viscous dissipation, thermal radiations, and heat generation are also incorporated. Boundary layer approximations are employed to model the governing system of partial differential equations (PDEs). The governing PDEs with their associated boundary conditions are further altered to a dimensionless form by employing appropriate transformations. The results of the transformed model are collected using local non-similarity approach up to the second level of truncation in association with the built-in finite difference code in MATLAB (bvp4c). Additionally, the impacts of emerging factors on the fluid flow and thermal transport features of the considered flow problem are displayed and analyzed in graphical forms after achieving good agreement between accomplished computational results and published ones. Numerical variations in drag coefficient and Nusselt number are elaborated through the tables. It has been perceived that the enhancement in Casson fluid parameter diminishes the velocity profile. Moreover, it is noted that the porosity parameter and Lorentz's forces reinforce the resulting frictional factor at the inclined stretching surface.

Case Studies in Thermal Engineering

Abstract:The hybrid nanofluids can enhance cooling systems in microelectronics by enhancing heat dissipation from processes which makes them vital for maintaining optimal performance. They are also beneficial in solar systems where efficient heat transfer is essential for exploiting the energy detention. Thus, this study has studied the three-dimensional flow of a water-based hybrid nanofluid comprising of Fe 3 O 4 and CuO nanoparticles on a bi-directional extending sheet. The bi-directional extending sheet is subjected to thermal convective and velocity slip conditions. In addition, the effects of heat source, magnetic field, thermal radiation, viscous dissipation, and Joule heating are employed. The partial differential equations (PDEs) that represent the mathematical model are subsequently converted to ordinary differential equations (ODEs) by applying the appropriate similarity variables. The shooting technique is incorporated to determine the computational solution of the converted ODEs. The effectiveness of the current study is confirmed by published results, which also validate the current outcomes. Based on the results, it is concluded that CuO and Fe 3 O 4 solid nanoparticle volume fractions improved the thermal distribution while decreasing the velocity distributions along x and y-axes. The thermal distribution is improved by the thermal heat source, thermal radiation, thermal Biot number, and thermal Eckert numbers. CuO- water nanofluid has a higher velocity panel than CuO-Fe 3 O 4 /water hybrid nanofluid. Conversely, the CuO-Fe 3 O 4 /water hybrid nanofluid has a higher thermal profile than the CuO- water nanofluid. CuO- water nanofluid flow has higher surface drags than CuO-Fe 3 O 4 /water hybrid nanofluid flow. CuO- water nanofluid has a lower heat transfer rate than CuO-Fe 3 O 4 /water hybrid nanofluid.
