Abstract:T-wave inversion on electrocardiogram (ECG) is always a concerning finding as it is often associated with myocardial ischemia or ventricular strain. Respiratory variation in the T-wave morphology has been reported in the literature; however, the frequency of this observation remains unknown as this is not routinely evaluated. Although the exact physiological mechanisms underlying this ECG change are unclear, it is proposed to be due to the respiratory variation of the heart position resulting in an alteration in T-wave polarity. We describe a case of a patient who presented with chest pain with T-wave inversions in inferior and lateral ECG leads. On repeating ECG with breath held in end inspiration, the T waves became positive. The pain was found to be musculoskeletal in origin. This case is a reminder of an under-recognized physiological phenomenon involving the cardiac conduction. Variation of T-wave morphology with respiration may suggest a noncardiac cause of chest pain.
Preoperative Albumin-Bilirubin Score for Postoperative Solitary Hepatocellular Carcinoma within the Milan Criteria and Child-Pugh A Cirrhosis

Abstract:Surgical resection remains the initial treatment of choice for the majority of early stage hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) patients. Although the factors that influence the prognosis of postoperative HCC patients have been well elucidated, there are a limited number of simple, objective, and distinct methods for estimating survival for postoperative patients with solitary HCC within the Milan criteria and Child-Pugh (C-P) A cirrhosis. The Albumin-Bilirubin (ALBI) score is a new evidence-based approach to assess liver function. The ALBI score eliminates subjective variables, such as ascites and encephalopathy which are the requirements for the conventional C-P grading system. This study enrolled 654 patients to determine whether the ALBI score can predict the outcomes of postoperative solitary HCC patients within the Milan criteria and C-P A cirrhosis. Our results showed the ALBI score significantly influenced the overall survival and cumulative recurrence rates. Furthermore, the ALBI score was significantly related to the degree of liver cirrhosis and serum γ-glutamyl transpeptidase (GGT) concentration in solitary HCC cases within the Milan criteria and C-P A cirrhosis. Additionally, the combination of the ALBI score and serum GGT concentration contributed to the prognosis prediction in this cohort. In conclusion, we externally validated the ALBI grade as a novel biomarker to predict prognosis for solitary HCC within the Milan Criteria and C-P A cirrhosis.

Abstract:Backgrounds: Several studies have indicated that BALAD score which includes the HCC tumor markers of HCC, AFP, AFP-L3%, DCP, and serum albumin and bilirubin value were good predictors of HCC patients for all treatment modalities. In this study, we aim to clarify the impact of BALAD score as the prognostic factor for HCC patients after curative surgery. Methods: This study investigated 578 patients who underwent hepatectomy for HCC between January 2003 and May 2013. Cumulative recurrence rate, overall survival (OS), and clinicopathological parameters were analyzed according to the level of BALAD score. Results: In patients with higher BALAD score, recurrence rate and OS was poor (p = 0.0015 and p < 0.0001, respectively). Multivariate analyses revealed independent risk factors for recurrence to be male (hazard ratio [HR] 1.52, P = 0.011), HCV-antibody positive (HR 1.33, P = 0.019), multiple tumors (HR 2.16, P < 0.0001), microvascular invasion (HR 1.45, P = 0.0035) and higher BALAD score (RR 1.70, P = 0.015). The independent risk factors for OS were multiple tumors (HR 1.52, P = 0.014), microvascular invasion (HR 1.53, P = 0.012), and higher BALAD score (RR 2.51, P = 0.0012). Conclusion: BALAD score is associated with high recurrence rate and poor overall survival of the patients who underwent curative liver resection for HCC.
Application of the Albumin-Bilirubin Grade for Predicting Prognosis after Curative Resection of Patients with Early-Stage Hepatocellular Carcinoma.

Abstract:Background: Patients with Barcelona Clinic Liver Cancer (BCLC) 0 + A are considered to have early-stage hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). The albumin-bilirubin (ALBI) grade is a significant predictor of overall survival (OS) for HCC. However, data are lacking to support its significance for patients with early-HCC.Methods: We recruited 318 patients with early-HCC who underwent curative resection between January 2012 and August 2013. The Kaplan-Meier method and log-rank tests were used to compare OS of patients with different ALBI grades. Cox regression analysis was applied to evaluate ALBI grade as an independent predictor of OS.Results: Early-HCC patients with ALBI grade II experienced significantly shorter OS (p < 0.001) and higher death rates. In the Child-Pugh (C-P) grade-A group, patients with ALBI grade I had a more favorable prognosis than those with grade II (p < 0.001), while the C-P grade did not distinguish patients with poor prognosis from the entire group. Cox regression analysis demonstrated that ALBI grade was the most significant independent predictor of OS, and the ALBI grade retained its clinical significance in low alpha-fetoprotein subgroup.Conclusion: ALBI grade predicted OS in patients with early-HCC. Reclassification of C-P grade according to ALBI grade might improve the management of HCC. (C) 2016 Published by Elsevier B.V.
Preoperative C-reactive Protein/albumin Ratio to Predict Mortality and Recurrence of Patients with Hepatocellular Carcinoma after Curative Resection.

Abstract:BACKGROUND & OBJECTIVES:Recent studies have shown that the C-reactive protein-to-albumin ratio (CAR) can predict the mortality in patients with hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). The aim of the present study was to investigate the utility of preoperative CAR for predicting postoperative overall and tumor free survival among HCC patients after radical surgery.METHODS:Preoperative neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio (NLR), clinicopathological parameters, laboratory data and patient demographics of 187 patients with HCC receiving initial radical liver resection from Sir Run Run Shaw hospital were evaluated. Multivariate analyses were performed to identify clinical characteristics associated with overall survival (OS) and tumor free survival (TFS). Subsequently, the prognostic value of CAR was evaluated using the area under the curve (AUC) compared with other systemic inflammation-based prognostic scores.RESULTS:Multivariate analysis revealed that the tumor number [hazard ratio (HR)=2.668; p=0.018] was independently associated with OS. While, the CRP/Alb ratio [HR=0.477; p=0.006] and the tumor number [HR=2.458; p=0.006] were significantly associated with TFS. The AUC values of the CRP/Alb ratio (6 months: 0.868; 12 months: 0.787; 36 months: 0.680) were higher than those of the GPS, mGPS and NLR at all time points in OS.CONCLUSION:Preoperative CRP/Alb ratio is an independent prognostic marker with tumor free survival in patients with HCC after curative resection and the prognostic ability was comparable to other applied inflammation-based prognostic scores in both overall and tumor-free survival, especially at the early stage.
Ability of the ALBI grade to predict posthepatectomy liver failure and long-term survival after liver resection for different BCLC stages of HCC

Abstract:BackgroundUnderlying liver function is a major concern when applying surgical resection for hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). We aimed to explore the capability of the albumin-bilirubin (ALBI) grade to predict post-hepatectomy liver failure (PHLF) and long-term survival after hepatectomy for HCC patients with different Barcelona Clinic Liver Cancer (BCLC) stages.MethodsBetween January 2010 and December 2014, 338 HCC patients who were treated with liver resection were enrolled. The predictive accuracy of ALBI grade system for PHLF and long-term survival across different BCLC stages was examined.ResultsA total of 26 (7.7%) patients developed PHLF. Patients were divided into BCLC 0/A and BCLC B/C categories. ALBI score was found to be a strong independent predictor of PHLF across different BCLC stages by multivariate analysis. In terms of overall survival (OS), it exhibited high discriminative power in the total cohort and in BCLC 0/A subgroup. However, differences in OS between ALBI grade 1 and 2 patients in BCLC B/C subgroup were not significant (P = 0.222).ConclusionThe ALBI grade showed good predictive ability for PHLF in HCC patients across different BCLC stages. However, the ALBI grade was only a significant predictor of OS in BCLC stage 0/A patients and failed to predict OS in BCLC stage B/C patients.

Circulating miR-195 as a Therapeutic Biomarker in Turkish Breast Cancer Patients.

Abstract:BACKGROUND Dysregulation of miRNA expression may be used as a biomarker for specific tumours because it may contribute to development of cancer. Circulating miRNA profiles have been highlighted for their potential as predictive markers in heterogeneous diseases such as breast cancer. In the literature, there is evidence that miR-195 levels are differentially expressed pre- and post-operative periods in breast cancer patients. At the same time, miRNA expression levels may vary because of ethnic origins. This study aimed to determine expression levels and potential roles of miR-195 in Turkish breast cancer patients. MATERIALS AND METHODS The expression patterns of miR-195 were initially examined in breast cancer tissues (luminal A and B type) (n=96). Subsequently, blood samples were prospectively collected from preoperative and postoperative Turkish breast cancer patients and disease free controls. Total RNA was isolated, and the expression level of miR-195 was quantified by real-time PCR. RESULTS We found that miR-195 level was altered in Turkish breast cancer patients, with down-regulation evident in breast cancer tissues compared to normal adjacent specimens. Furthermore, circulating levels of miR- 195 was significantly decreased in post-operative blood samples compared with pre-operative levels (p=0.01 and <0.05). However, miR-195 was significantly increased in pre-operative blood samples of the luminal B type (p= 0.04 and <0.05). CONCLUSIONS This study represents the first report of a miR-195 expression profile in Turkish breast cancer patients. Our data suggests that miR-195 levels might be a clinically useful biomarker in the earliest stage of Turkish breast cancer patients.

Abstract:Background:The prognosis of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is complex and depends on multiple factors, including hepatic reserve function. The albumin-bilirubin (ALBI) and platelet-albumin-bilirubin (PALBI) grades were developed to objectively evaluate liver function. We aimed to explore the ability of ALBI and PALBI grades to predict overall survival (OS) in patients with HCC based on the treatment modality and to determine factors associated with mortality.Methods:From January 2018 to December 2022, we prospectively enrolled 645 newly diagnosed HCC patients. Kaplan-Meier and Cox-regression analyses were used to assess OS. Receiver operating characteristics (ROC) curve analysis was used to analyze the efficacy of different grades in predicting mortality.Results:The median OS was 12 months during the follow-up time (range 1-24 months), and 75.81% of the study cohort died. Except for patients who underwent surgical resection, the ALBI and PALBI grades were significantly associated with OS in HCC patients, in various stages of BCLC, and treatment modalities (P<0.0001). In predicting OS, the PALBI score outperformed the ALBI, CTP, and MELD scores (P<0.0001). Furthermore, the PALBI grade outperformed the ALBI grade in stratifying CTP classes into distinct survival groups. Multiple tumours >3, MELD grade 3, PALBI grade 3, BCLC stages B, C, and D, and patients receiving supportive treatment were independently associated with OS.Conclusions:ALBI and PALBI grades are effective in the determination of OS among HCC patients in different clinical settings. The PALBI grade is an independent risk factor for mortality and is superior to the ALBI grade in predicting OS.
The Effect of Corrective Taping of the Patella on Patella Position as Defined by MRI

Abstract:Taping of the patella is a common treatment for patellofemoral pain syndrome (PFPS) and has been shown to reduce pain. The reason for this affect is unknown; it has been proposed that taping alters patella orientation. Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) studies investigating this are limited and the results are contradictory. Eight subjects (5 female, 3 male, 10 knees in total) with PFPS were involved in the study. MRI scans were taken at 0, 10, and 20 degrees of knee flexion, prior to and after patella taping. Lateral patella displacement (LPD) was determined for both conditions at each joint angle. Mean LPD data were compared using two-way ANOVA. Taping resulted in a significant reduction in LPD (p < 0.05) at all joint angles. The absolute average reductions in LPD here 0.4, 1.1, and 0.7 mm at 0°, 10°, 20° knee flexion, respectively. This change was small but might be sufficient to bring about the biologically significant changes resulting in the reported reduction in pain.
Albumin–bilirubin grade as a predictor of survival in hepatocellular carcinoma patients with thrombocytopenia

Abstract:BACKGROUND The models for assessing liver function, mainly the Child–Pugh (CP), albumin–bilirubin (ALBI), and platelet–ALBI (PALBI) classifications, have been validated for use in estimating the prognosis of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) patients. However, thrombocytopenia is a common finding and may influence the prognostic value of the three models in HCC. AIM To investigate and compare the prognostic performance of the above three models in thrombocytopenic HCC patients. METHODS A total of 135 patients with thrombocytopenic HCC who underwent radical surgery were retrospectively analyzed. Preoperative scores on the CP, ALBI and PALBI classifications were estimated accordingly. Kaplan–Meier curves with log-rank tests and Cox regression models were used to explore the significant factors associated with overall survival (OS) and recurrence-free survival (RFS). RESULTS The preoperative platelet counts were significantly different among the CP, ALBI and PALBI groups. After a median follow-up of 28 mo, 39.3% (53/135) of the patients experienced postoperative recurrence, and 36.3% (49/135) died. Univariate analysis suggested that α-fetoprotein levels, tumor size, vascular invasion, and ALBI grade were significant predictors of OS and RFS. According to the multivariate Cox regression model, ALBI was identified as an independent prognostic factor. However, CP and PALBI grades were not statistically significant prognostic indicators. CONCLUSION The ALBI grade, rather than CP or PALBI grade, is a significant prognostic indicator for thrombocytopenic HCC patients.

Abstract:BackgroundThe C-reactive protein/albumin (CRP/Alb) ratio is associated with outcomes in septic patients. We investigated the prognostic value of the CRP/Alb ratio in patients with hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC).MethodsWe retrospectively evaluated 186 newly diagnosed HCC patients and investigated the correlations among the pretreatment CRP/Alb ratio, clinicopathological parameters, and overall survival (OS). Multivariate analyses were performed to identify the clinicopathological parameters associated with OS. Subsequently, we evaluated the prognostic value of the CRP/Alb ratio compared with other inflammation-based prognostic scores [Glasgow Prognostic Score (GPS), modified GPS (mGPS), and neutrophil lymphocyte ratio (NLR)] using the area under the curve (AUC).ResultsThe optimal cutoff level for the CRP/Alb ratio was 0.037. An elevated CRP/Alb ratio (≥0.037) was associated with tumor progression and reduced liver functional reserve. In the multivariate analysis, the CRP/Alb ratio [hazard ratio (HR) 3.394; p < 0.0001], Cancer Liver Italian Program score (HR 2.686; 95 % CI 2.122–3.401; p < 0.0001), and vascular invasion (HR 3.376; 95 % CI 1.594–7.151; p = 0.001) were independently associated with OS (HR 3.394; p < 0.0001). The CRP/Alb ratio had higher AUC values at 6 months (0.844), 12 months (0.863), and 24 months (0.82) compared with the GPS, mGPS, and NLR.ConclusionThe CRP/Alb ratio might be an independent prognostic marker in patients with HCC, and may have comparable prognostic ability to other established inflammation-based prognostic scores. The prognostic value of this novel inflammation-based prognostic score needs to be verified in patients with other types of cancer.

Prognostic and Predictive Value of the Pretreatment Albumin-bilirubin Score for Short and Long-term Survival in Patients With Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma-associated Hemophagocytic Lymphohistiocytosis With Hepatic Injuries

Abstract:Purpose: This study aimed to assess the prognostic value of pretreatment albumin-bilirubin (ALBI) on short-term mortality (30 days) and long-term (≥ 1 year) survivalThe aim of this study was to construct a prognosis model of non-Hodgkin lymphoma-associated secondary hemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis (NHL-sHLH) patients with hepatic injuries by the combination of ALBI score and clinical parameters.Material and methods: This retrospective study included 168 NHL-sHLH patients with hepatic injuries between February 1, 2014, and February 1, 2020. Multivariable logistic/Cox models and restricted cubic spline models were conducted to evaluate the relationships between the ALBI score and short- and long-term survival. The predictive performance of the ALBI score was assessed and compared using time-dependent receiver operating characteristic (ROC) analysis.Results: Among 168 adult NHL-sHLH patients, 82 (48.8%) patients died within 30 days after admission, and 144 (85.7%) patients died during the follow-up period. Multivariate logistic regression indicated that ALBI grade could be an independent risk factor for predicting the prognosis of patients with 30-day mortality and overall survival (odds ratios [OR]30 days 5.37, 95% confidence interval 2.41-12.64, P < 0.001; hazard ratios [HR]OS 1.52, 95% confidence interval 1.06-2.18, P = 0.023), respectively. The restricted cubic spline curve displayed a linear and positive relationship between the ALBI score and risk of mortality (P for nonlinearity =0.503). Furthermore, receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve analysis showed that the area under the curve (AUC) for predicting mortality by integrative analysis of the ALBI score and ferritin was significantly improved compared to the ALBI score (AUC 30 days: 0.820 vs 0.693, P = 0.001; AUC1 year: 0.754 vs 0.681, P = 0.043) or ferritin (AUC30 days: 0.820 vs 0.724, P = 0.005; AUC1 year: 0.754 vs 0.658, P = 0.031) alone.Conclusions: These results suggest that the ALBI score could be a useful indicator of 30-day mortality and overall survival (≥1 year) for NHL-sHLH patients with hepatic injuries, and the combination analysis of the ALBI score and ferritin provides incremental prognostic value for clinical use.
Prognostic significance of albumin-bilirubin score in patients with unresectable hepatocellular carcinoma undergoing combined immunotherapy and radiotherapy

Abstract:Introduction We aimed to explore the prognostic value of albumin-bilirubin (ALBI) scores in unresectable hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) treated with combined immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs) and radiotherapy (RT). Methods Patients with unresectable HCC receiving combined ICI and RT (July 2018 to February 2021) were retrospectively enrolled and analysed. Cox regression modelling was implemented to identify prognostic factors. Survival analysis was performed using the Kaplan-Meier method. Survival was compared using log-rank tests. Results A total of 38 patients were enrolled. The median follow-up was 16.5 months (range: 6.7-29.9). The objective response rate (ORR) was 28.9%, including complete response in three (7.9%) patients. The median progression-free survival (PFS) was 5.6 months (95% confidence interval (CI): 3.2-8.0), and the median overall survival (OS) was 12.9 months (95% CI: 8.3-17.6). In the multivariate Cox regression analysis, ALBI score and age were identified as independent prognostic factors for PFS and OS. Patients with grade 1 ALBI scores who were >= 53 years of age (the low-risk group) had statistically significantly higher ORRs (50.0% vs. 13.6%) and prolonged median PFS (15.3 vs. 2.7 months) and OS (not reached vs. 10.1 months). Grade 3 haematological toxicities and/or liver function abnormalities occurred in 15 (39.5%) patients; treatment was not interrupted. No grade 4 or higher side effects were observed. Conclusion Combined ICI and RT is an effective modality for treating unresectable HCC with moderate side effects. ALBI scores merits consideration when applying this combined treatment modality. These results should be validated within large cohort studies.

We retrospectively analyzed 168 non-Hodgkin lymphoma-associated secondary hemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis (NHL-sHLH) patients with hepatic injuries. Multivariable logistic/Cox models and restricted cubic spline models were conducted to evaluate the relationships between the ALBI score and short- and long-term survival. Among 168 adult NHL-sHLH patients, 82 (48.8%) patients died within 30 days after admission, and 144 (85.7%) patients died during the follow-up period. Multivariable logistic/Cox regression model indicated that ALBI grade could be an independent risk factor for predicting the prognosis of patients with 30-day mortality and overall survival (odds ratios [OR](30 days) 5.37, 95% confidence interval 2.41-12.64, P < 0.001; hazard ratios [HR](OS) 1.52, 95% confidence interval 1.06-2.18, P = 0.023), respectively. The restricted cubic spline curve displayed a linear and positive relationship between the ALBI score and risk of mortality (P for nonlinearity =0.503). Furthermore, receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve analysis showed that the area under the curve (AUC) for predicting mortality by integrative analysis of the ALBI score and ferritin was significantly improved compared to the ALBI score (AUC (30 days): 0.820 vs 0.693, P = 0.001; AUC(1 year): 0.754 vs 0.681, P = 0.043) or ferritin (AUC(30 days): 0.820 vs 0.724, P = 0.005; AUC(1 year): 0.754 vs 0.658, P = 0.031) alone. The ALBI score could be a useful indicator of short and long-term survival for NHL-sHLH patients with hepatic injuries.

Abstract:Clinical investigation and hair plucking performed during trichogram, a traumatic technique for obtaining a hair formula, are the present means of evaluation in patients with alopecia or complaining of loss of hair. These means do not provide quantitative data valuable enough for a possible appreciation of the severity of hair loss, let alone for a reliable evaluation in therapeutical trials. Phototrichogram, a technique proposed by Saitoh (1970), Fiquet and Courtois (1979) and developed by Bouhanna (1982-1983), brings more satisfactory qualitative and quantitative means of studying hair growth and pilar cycles. Its standardisation had yet to be obtained so as to give results comparable from one study to another and reproducible in any given patient. We propose here a standardised optical equipment and particularly recommend a rigid frame allowing a fixed distance from the skin to the lens, and a superimposed glass window with millimetric graduations; the 0.50 square centimeter skin area to be analysed may easily be marked off by an 0.2 mm wide black microtatoo. This personal technical adaptation gives an easily obtainable definition of five quantitative parameters analysing the hair on a given area of the scalp: density of implantation, telogen percentage, growth rate, mean anagen diameter and percentage of fine hair less than 40 mu in diameter. In the normal male adult our measurements gave the following results on the vertex: density 204 +/- 10 hair per square centimeter, telogen percentage 17.8 +/- 2.8 p. 100, growth rate 0.35 +/- 0.03 mm p. day, mean anagen diameter 76 +/- 5 mu, percentage of fine hair 9.2 +/- 1.8 p. 100.(ABSTRACT TRUNCATED AT 250 WORDS)

Abstract:Abstract The prognosis of patients with hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is closely related to their liver reserves. The Child-Pugh (CP) score has traditionally been used to evaluate this reserve, with CP Grade B (CP score ≥ 7) associated with a higher risk of radiation-induced liver disease after stereotactic body radiation therapy (SBRT). However, the CP score has limitations, as it does not accurately assess liver reserve capacity. The albumin–bilirubin (ALBI) score has been introduced as a meticulous indicator of liver reserve for the treatment of HCC. We retrospectively evaluated the role of the ALBI score in estimating the worsening liver reserve in 42 patients with HCC treated with SBRT using CyberKnife between 2015 and 2023. The median biologically effective dose (α/β = 10 Gy) was 100 Gy. For a median follow-up duration of 17.4 months, the 1-year overall survival (OS), local control (LC) and progression-free survival (PFS) rates were 100, 98 and 62%, respectively. Worsening liver reserve was defined as an increase in the modified ALBI grade or CP score within 1 year after SBRT. Univariate and multivariate analyses showed that the baseline ALBI score (≥−2.7 vs <−2.7) was the only significantly different predictor of worsening liver reserve. The OS and LC rates after SBRT for HCC were satisfactory. However, the PFS was poor, and recurrent HCC will require additional treatment. It is clinically important to predict the liver reserve capacity after SBRT, and the baseline ALBI score is a useful predictor.

Abstract:Objective: The current study aimed to investigate the prognostic value of albumin-bilirubin (ALBI) score in predicting clinical outcomes of pancreatic cancer patients after pancreatoduodenectomy with liver metastasis following radiofrequency ablation. Methods: This retrospective study included 90 pancreatic cancer patients after pancreatoduodenectomy with liver metastasis from January 2012 to December 2018. In this study, the Chi-square or Fisher’s exact tests, the receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve, Kaplan-Meier method and Log-rank test, univariate and multivariate Cox proportional hazard regression analyses, nomogram, calibration curves and decision curve analysis were used for all statistical analysis. Results: We analyzed the optimal cut-off value of ALBI by ROC curve, and the optimal cut-off value was −2.60. According to ALBI score, these patients were divided into two groups: low ALBI group ( n = 33) and high ALBI group ( n = 57). Patients with low ALBI score was significantly related to longer progression free survival (PFS) ( p = 0.0002, HR: 3.039, 95% CI: 1.772–5.210) and overall survival (OS) ( p = 0.0005, HR: 2.697, 95% CI: 1.539–4.720). The 1-, 3-, and 5-year PFS and OS rates in low ALBI group were higher than those in high ALBI group. ALBI was a potential independent prognostic factor for pancreatic cancer patients after pancreatoduodenectomy with liver metastasis following radiofrequency ablation. Moreover, the nomogram was used to predict the 1-, 3-, and 5-year survival probabilities of PFS and OS. The calibration curve shown that the prediction line matched the reference line well for postoperative 3-year PFS and OS. The DCA shown that nomogram model was better than the only ALBI, and indicated the ability for clinical decision-making, especially in 1-year PFS, and 3-, 5-year OS. Conclusion: ALBI is a potential independent factor for PFS and OS, and can predict the prognosis of pancreatic cancer patients after pancreatoduodenectomy with liver metastasis following radiofrequency ablation.
