Abstract:[Objective] To understand the constantly condom use among female sex workers (FSWs) in Guigang City,analyze the possible factors related to constantly condom use,and provide evidence for carrying out targeted AIDS prevention and control among FSWs.[Methods] According to the requirements of sentinel surveillance of HIV/AIDS in China,2 079 FSWs were recruited from April to June in 2014 and 2015 by sequential sampling,to collect information of demography characteristics,condom use,drug injection,HIV tests,and AIDS prevention services.The data was analyzed by SPSS 17.0.[Results] The age of FSWs in this study ranged from 15 to 62 years old,and 96.68％ of them were 16-50 years old.Most of them were married,and native place was mainly in this province (54.45％).77.01％ of FSWs were Han nationality,and the education levels of participants were mainly primary school and middle school.The rate of constantly condom use was 74.89％.ANOVA was used to identify factors that might affect condom use,and the results showed that there were statistically significant differences in ten factors between constantly condom use group and non-constantly condom use group,including marital status,nationality,education level,venue level,local working time of this time,illicit drug use,history of sexually transmitted infection(STI),history of HIV tests,receiving the condom grant and publicity or HIV counsel and test services,and receiving the education service from peer.And multivariate Logistic analysis showed that a history of marriage (ORmarried=0.539,95％CI:0.330-0.882,ORdivocred or widowed=0.281,95％CI:0.149-0.533) hindered consistent condom use relative to single,lower tier of FSWs working place (OR lou tier=0.116,95％ CI:0.047-0.284,ORmiddle tier=0.225,95％CI:0.092-0.551) impeded the consistent condom use relative to high tier venue,history of STI (OR=0.353,95％CI:0.215-0.578) and peer educations (OR=0.117,95％CI:0.088-0.156) in the recent year impeded the consistent condom use among FSWs,but HIV test (OR=2.616,95％CI:1.864-3.672) and receiving condom grant and publicity or HIV counsel and test service (OR=4.211,95％CI:2.479-5.154) facilitated the consistent condom use.[Conclusion] The rate of constantly condom use among FSWs in Guigang City (74.89％) is lower than that in some regions in China.To promote the FSWs to receive of condom grant and publicity or HIV counsel and test service and peer education would enhance the rate of constantly condom use among this population.
