Abstract:Data shared between hospitals and patients using mobile and wearable Internet of Medical Things (IoMT) devices raises privacy concerns due to the methods used in training. the development of the Internet of Medical Things (IoMT) and related technologies and the most current advances in these areas The Internet of Medical Things and other recent technological advancements have transformed the traditional healthcare system into a smart one. improvement in computing power and the spread of information have transformed the healthcare system into a high-tech, data-driven operation. On the other hand, mobile and wearable IoMT devices present privacy concerns regarding the data transmitted between hospitals and end users because of the way in which artificial intelligence is trained (AI-centralized). In terms of machine learning (AI-centralized). Devices connected to the IoMT network transmit highly confidential information that could be intercepted by adversaries. Due to the portability of electronic health record data for clinical research made possible by medical cyber-physical systems, the rate at which new scientific discoveries can be made has increased. While AI helps improve medical informatics, the current methods of centralised data training and insecure data storage management risk exposing private medical information to unapproved foreign organisations. New avenues for protecting users' privacy in IoMT without requiring access to their data have been opened by the federated learning (FL) distributive AI paradigm. FL safeguards user privacy by concealing all but gradients during training. DeepFed is a novel Federated Deep Learning approach presented in this research for the purpose of detecting cyber threats to intelligent healthcare CPSs.

Abstract:Protecting patient privacy has become a top priority with the introduction of Healthcare 5.0 and the growth of the Internet of Things. This study provides a revolutionary strategy that makes use of blockchain technology, information fusion, and federated illness prediction and deep extreme machine learning to meet the difficulties with regard to healthcare privacy. The suggested framework integrates several innovative technologies to make healthcare systems safe and privacy-preserving. The framework leverages the blockchain system, a distributed and unchangeable ledger, to secure the integrity, traceability and openness of private medical information. Patient privacy is better protected as a result, and there is less chance of data breaches or unauthorized access. The system makes use of the Linear Discriminant Analysis (LDA), Decision Tree, Extra Tree Classifier, AdaBoost, and Federated Deep Extreme Machine Learning algorithms to increase the accuracy and efficacy of illness prediction. This method allows for collaborative learning across many healthcare organizations without disclosing raw data, protecting privacy. The system obtains a thorough awareness of patient health, allowing for the early diagnosis of diseases and the development of individualized treatment suggestions. To further detect and reduce possible security risks in the IoMT environment, the framework also includes intrusion detection methods. Protecting patient data and infrastructure, the system can quickly identify and react to unauthorized actions or threats. High accuracy and privacy protection are shown by the results, making it appropriate for Healthcare 5.0 applications. The findings have important ramifications for researchers, politicians, and healthcare professionals who are seeking to develop safe and privacy-conscious healthcare systems.

Abstract:The healthcare industry is being transformed by the Internet of Things (IoT), as it provides wide connectivity among physicians, medical devices, clinical and nursing staff, and patients to simplify the task of real-time monitoring. As the network is vast and heterogeneous, opportunities and challenges are presented in gathering and sharing information. Focusing on patient information such as health status, medical devices used by such patients must be protected to ensure safety and privacy. Healthcare information is confidentially shared among experts for analyzing healthcare and to provide treatment on time for patients. Cryptographic and biometric systems are widely used, including deep-learning (DL) techniques to authenticate and detect anomalies, andprovide security for medical systems. As sensors in the network are energy-restricted devices, security and efficiency must be balanced, which is the most important concept to be considered while deploying a security system based on deep-learning approaches. Hence, in this work, an innovative framework, the deep Q-learning-based neural network with privacy preservation method (DQ-NNPP), was designed to protect data transmission from external threats with less encryption and decryption time. This method is used to process patient data, which reduces network traffic. This process also reduces the cost and error of communication. Comparatively, the proposed model outperformed some standard approaches, such as thesecure and anonymous biometric based user authentication scheme (SAB-UAS), MSCryptoNet, and privacy-preserving disease prediction (PPDP). Specifically, the proposed method achieved accuracy of 93.74%, sensitivity of 92%, specificity of 92.1%, communication overhead of 67.08%, 58.72 ms encryption time, and 62.72 ms decryption time.

Abstract:Purpose Artificial Intelligence (AI) has surpassed expectations in opening up different possibilities for machines from different walks of life. Cloud service providers are pushing. Edge computing reduces latency, improving availability and saving bandwidth. Design/methodology/approach The exponential growth in tensor processing unit (TPU) and graphics processing unit (GPU) combined with different types of sensors has enabled the pairing of medical technology with deep learning in providing the best patient care. A significant role of pushing and pulling data from the cloud, big data comes into play as velocity, veracity and volume of data with IoT assisting doctors in predicting the abnormalities and providing customized treatment based on the patient electronic health record (EHR). Findings The primary focus of edge computing is decentralizing and bringing intelligent IoT devices to provide real-time computing at the point of presence (PoP). The impact of the PoP in healthcare gains importance as wearable devices and mobile apps are entrusted with real-time monitoring and diagnosis of patients. Abstract:Nowadays the existing legacy management-based healthcare system maintains and processes a large amount of health-related data. The widespread adoption of the Internet of Things (IoT) and its progressive development have promised the way for the development of IoT-enabled healthcare with impressive data processing and big data storage capabilities. Intelligent medical healthcare intends to offer a framework to remotely monitor users' health-related data as the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) develops. Because they are stored on a cloud server, the data are still susceptible to manipulation and privacy breaches. The Keras Xception Deep Learning System (KX-DLS) with Dynamic Searchable Symmetric Encryption (DSSE) scheme is a revolutionary IoT-based deep learning intelligent privacy-preserving system that is advantageous for digital healthcare and its functionalities to handle security-related challenges. The dataset is being used to pre-train the system, and users' personal information is kept separate in a secure location. Without knowing any personal information about the users, we analyse health-related data stored in the cloud and build a sophisticated security framework based on a deep learning model. With the most extensive collection of security features, our framework for learning intelligent privacy preservation optimizes the system to guarantee high data integrity and few privacy breaches. As a result, it may be useful in situations where users employ mobile devices with limited resources to engage a healthcare cloud system for extensive virtual health services, and the results of this research show that it has been a better-secured model in comparison with state-of-the-art previous techniques.

Abstract:Aims and Background: For video understanding and analysis, human activity recognition (HAR) has emerged as a challenging field to investigate and implement. Patients can be monitored in real-time by a group of healthy individuals, and abnormal behaviors can be used to identify them later. Patients who do not engage in customary physical activities are more likely to suffer from stress, cardiovascular disease, diabetes, and musculoskeletal disorders. Thus, it is critical to collect, evaluate, and analyze data to determine their activities. Objectives and Methodology: Deep learning-based convolutional neural networks (CNNs) can be used to solve the problem of patient activities in the healthcare system by identifying the most efficient healthcare providers. Healthcare relies heavily on the integration of medical devices into cyberphysical systems (CPS). Hospitals are progressively employing these technologies to maintain a high standard of patient care. The CNN-CPS technique can be used by a healthcare organization to examine a patient's medical history, symptoms, and tests to provide personalized care. A network of medical devices must be integrated into healthcare. Hospitals are increasingly using these technologies to ensure that patients get the best possible care at all times. Healthcare automation can dramatically improve quality and consistency by reducing human errors and fatigue. The multiobjective optimization is achieved considering various factors like the time required to find emergency case identification, new disease prediction, and accuracy of data protection. Results: Consequently, patients are assured of receiving a consistent, attentive service at every visit. Data and orders can be stored and entered more easily via automation, market research suggests. The outcome of this article is obtained based on a comparison of various approaches in health monitoring systems, such as collection of patient data is 82.3%, new disease prediction is 80.14%, emergency case identification is 78.25%, data protection is 81.35%, immune to impersonation attack reduction is 78.36% and overall accuracy of data protection and transmission performance is 86.24% is achieved. Conclusion: Compared with existing methods DM-CC and HE-WSN for health monitoring and patient's treatment process, the proposed method CNN-CPS is better in maintaining the data and proper information passed to the medical care is 92.56%.

Abstract:With the Internet of Things (IoT), mobile healthcare applications can now offer a variety of dimensionalities and online services. Disease Prediction Systems (DPS) increase the speed and accuracy of diagnosis, improving the quality of healthcare services. However, privacy is garnering an increasing amount of attention these days, especially concerning personal healthcare data, which are sensitive. There are a variety of prevailing privacy preservation techniques for disease prediction that are rendered. Nonetheless, there is a chance of medical users being affected by numerous disparate diseases. Therefore, it is vital to consider multi-label instances, which might decrease the accuracy. Thus, this paper proposes an efficient privacy-preserving (PP) scheme for patient healthcare data collected from IoT devices aimed at disease prediction in the modern Health Care System (HCS). The proposed system utilizes the Log of Round value-based Elliptic Curve Cryptography (LR-ECC) to enhance the security level during data transfer after the initial authentication phase. The authorized healthcare staff can securely download the patient data on the hospital side. Utilizing the Herding Genetic Algorithm-based Deep Learning Neural Network (EHGA-DLNN) can test these data with the trained system to predict the diseases. The experimental results demonstrate that the proposed approach improves prediction accuracy, privacy, and security compared to the existing methods.

Abstract:With the rapid development of mobile medical care, medical institutions also have the hidden danger of privacy leakage while sharing personal medical data. Based on the k-anonymity and l-diversity supervised models, it is proposed to use the classified personalized entropy l-diversity privacy protection model to protect user privacy in a fine-grained manner. By distinguishing solid and weak sensitive attribute values, the constraints on sensitive attributes are improved, and the sensitive information is reduced for the leakage probability of vital information to achieve the safety of medical data sharing. This research offers a customized information entropy l-diversity model and performs experiments to tackle the issues that the information entropy l-diversity model does not discriminate between strong and weak sensitive features. Data analysis and experimental results show that this method can minimize execution time while improving data accuracy and service quality, which is more effective than existing solutions. The limits of solid and weak on sensitive qualities are enhanced, sensitive data are reduced, and the chance of crucial data leakage is lowered, all of which contribute to the security of healthcare data exchange. This research offers a customized information entropy l-diversity model and performs experiments to tackle the issues that the information entropy l-diversity model does not discriminate between strong and weak sensitive features. The scope of this research is that this paper enhances data accuracy while minimizing the algorithm’s execution time.

Abstract:<p>Big data and artificial intelligence develop rapidly. Big data analysis has been applied in many fields of smart healthcare. Once these data are leaked or modified during transmission, it will not only invade the privacy of patients, but also endanger their lives. Many researchers worked on encrypted personal health records (PHR). However, there are still some challenges, such as data leakage during deep learning and leakage of training models, and some users do not want their data to be leaked to the analysis organization. How to protect privacy while leveraging deep learning is a pressing issue. In this paper, we present a system for predicting disease and timely alarms by collecting data from sensors and using deep learning to analyze and monitor patient health data. In order to protect the privacy of health data, we adopt an assured data deletion approach which the data owner can choose to revoke some users' access to their health data. Extensive analysis and experimental results are presented that demonstrate the security, and efficiency of our proposed approach.</p>

Abstract:Healthcare stands out as a critical domain profoundly impacted by Internet of Things (IoT) technology, generating vast data from sensing devices as IoT applications expand. Addressing security challenges is paramount for a successful IoT healthcare framework, with blockchain technology offering a decentralized structure for robust data protection and secure data exchange within multi-node IoT networks. The research introduces a secure IoT healthcare diagnostic model empowered by deep neural networks, emphasizing encryption, safe transactions, and healthcare diagnostics as key components. Notably, the model incorporates innovative techniques like the orthogonal particle swarm optimization algorithm for sharing medical images and a neighborhood indexing sequence method for hash value encryption. The development of an optimized deep neural network-based classification model for illnesses, validated through extensive trials, demonstrates superior performance metrics compared to existing decision-making techniques, with significant improvements in f -Measure (96.25%), sensitivity (93.26%), specificity (94.26%), and accuracy (93.26%). This study's scientific contribution lies in its innovative approach to securing IoT-healthcare diagnosis models, validated performance enhancements using real-world datasets, and insightful recommendations for future research directions, fostering advancements in healthcare technology for enhanced patient care and system efficiency.

Abstract:Cyber-physical systems (CPS) have been widely utilized in healthcare industry to provide excellent patient care in a variety of clinical contexts. Because of the heterogeneity of medical devices in these systems (body sensor nodes and mobile devices), there are large attack surfaces introduced, which makes strong security solutions necessary for these complex environments. Therefore, the Attack Detection Framework with cognitive machine learning support has been presented in this study in order to securely convey healthcare data. Healthcare CPS will find it simple to transfer the collected data to cloud storage. This study offers a novel approach to deep learning models-based cyber physical system-based smart healthcare data analysis and threat detection. The cloud edge model with firewall intrusion detection system is used to construct the CPS that is based on the smart healthcare paradigm. Then, using an encoder neural network and a convolutional adversarial fuzzy model, the smart healthcare system analyses bogus user data. The universal robot (UR5) receives the item detection data from the camera system that makes up the CPS and uses them to pick it up and deposit it where it belongs. One significant element that can affect the effectiveness of real-time activities is communication latency. In terms of accuracy, precision, recall, F-1 score, NSE, RMSE, experimental study is performed for a variety of CPS-based fake user analysis datasets. Proposed technique accuracy 95%, precision 83%, recall 73%, F-1 score 63%, NSE 63%, RMSE 51%.

Abstract:Security is considered the primary challenge in the healthcare industry in the aspect of the ethical and legal perspective of patient medical data. In existing approaches, the accessibility, reliability, and confidentiality of medical data are needed for more security in the healthcare industry. The main obstacles involved in the communication between the smartphone and monitoring devices allow a data theft attack. Hence, the secured model needs to be designed for providing data security in healthcare applications. By avoiding these challenges, this task provides secured intrusion detection with blockchain-based healthcare data transmission with the help of novel intelligence techniques. Initially, in the data acquisition phase, the gathered data from online sources consist of brain, skin, and retinal medical images. Then, the Weight Optimized Deep Belief Network (WO-DBN) checks the nodes to confirm whether the gathered data are in a malicious state or not at the time of transmission. The medical data are secured with the support of encryption and blockchain technology, where the medical images are enciphered by chaotic-map-aided image encryption through optimal key generation. These encrypted images are uploaded to the blockchain for secure data communication to the cloud server. Here, the authorized person can replace the data using the same optimal key and also it can be done after the decryption in the proposed chaotic map. The decrypted data are given to the final disease diagnosis phase for classifying the images without any information loss with the support of a Residual Network (Resnet101), where the final layer is restored by the "Deep Neural Network (DNN) and Long Short Term Memory (LSTM)" to enhance the classification accuracy and it is named Res-LSTM+DNN. The weight optimization in DBN, optimal key generation, and hyper-parameter tuning in classification are done by the Improved Dingo Optimizer (IDOX). From the overall result validation, the accuracy rate of the recommended approach scores 98.6%.

Abstract:Background: Continuous surveillance helps people with diabetes live better lives. A wide range of technologies, including the Internet of Things (IoT), modern communications, and artificial intelligence (AI), can assist in lowering the expense of health services. Due to numerous communication systems, it is now possible to provide customized and distant healthcare. Main problem: Healthcare data grows daily, making storage and processing challenging. We provide intelligent healthcare structures for smart e-health apps to solve the aforesaid problem. The 5G network must offer advanced healthcare services to meet important requirements like large bandwidth and excellent energy efficacy. Methodology: This research suggested an intelligent system for diabetic patient tracking based on machine learning (ML). The architectural components comprised smartphones, sensors, and smart devices, to gather body dimensions. Then, the preprocessed data is normalized using the normalization procedure. To extract features, we use linear discriminant analysis (LDA). To establish a diagnosis, the intelligent system conducted data classification utilizing the suggested advanced-spatial-vector-based Random Forest (ASV-RF) in conjunction with particle swarm optimization (PSO). Results: Compared to other techniques, the simulation's outcomes demonstrate that the suggested approach offers greater accuracy.

In conjunction with blockchain, hybrid deep learning techniques offer powerful capabilities for data analysis and decision making in healthcare. Combining the strengths of deep learning algorithms with traditional machine learning approaches, hybrid deep learning enables accurate and efficient processing of complex healthcare data, including medical records, images, and sensor data. This research proposes a permissions-based blockchain framework for scalable and secure healthcare systems, integrating hybrid deep learning models. Abstract:In recent years, availability and usage of extensive systems for Electronic Healthcare Record (EHR) is increased. In medical centers such hospitals and other laboratories, more health data sets were formed during the treatment process. In order to enhance the standard of the services provided in healthcare, these records where shared and can be used by various users depends on their requirements. As a result, notable issues in the security and privacy where obtained which should be monitored and removed in order to make the use of EHR more effectively. Various researches have been done in the past literature for improving the standards of the security and privacy in E-health systems. In spite of this, it is not completely enhanced. In this paper, a comprehensive analysis is done by selecting the existing approaches and models which were proposed for the security and privacy of the E-healthcare systems. Also, a novel Intelligent-based Access Control Security Model (IBAC) based on multi agents is proposed to maintain and support the security and privacy of E-healthcare systems. This system uses agents in order to maintain security and privacy while accessing the E-health data between the users.

Abstract:Background: The modern era of human society has seen the rise of a different variety of diseases. The mortality rate, therefore, increases without adequate care which consequently causes wealth loss. It has become a priority of humans to take care of health and wealth in a genuine way. Methods: In this article, the authors endeavored to design a hospital management system with secured data processing. The proposed approach consists of three different phases. In the first phase, a smart healthcare system is proposed for providing an effective health service, especially to patients with a brain tumor. An application is developed that is compatible with Android and Microsoft-based operating systems. Through this application, a patient can enter the system either in person or from a remote place. As a result, the patient data are secured with the hospital and the patient only. It consists of patient registration, diagnosis, pathology, admission, and an insurance service module. Secondly, deep-learning-based tumor detection from brain MRI and EEG signals is proposed. Lastly, a modified SHA-256 encryption algorithm is proposed for secured medical insurance data processing which will help detect the fraud happening in healthcare insurance services. Standard SHA-256 is an algorithm which is secured for short data. In this case, the security issue is enhanced with a long data encryption scheme. The algorithm is modified for the generation of a long key and its combination. This can be applicable for insurance data, and medical data for secured financial and disease-related data. Results: The deep-learning models provide highly accurate results that help in deciding whether the patient will be admitted or not. The details of the patient entered at the designed portal are encrypted in the form of a 256-bit hash value for secured data management.

Abstract:Data-driven medical big data analysis methods have arisen as the times have demanded, assisting in the intelligent identification of medical health. With the widespread use of computer technology, medical health data has also expanded considerably. It is still challenging to evaluate medical big data, nevertheless because of the heterogeneous format of the data, the large number of missing records and the amount of noise. While deep learning constructs a hierarchical model by imitating the human brain, traditional machine learning techniques are unable to efficiently harvest the rich information included in medical big data. It boasts strong automated feature extraction, intricate model building and effective feature expression among other significant features. It is a deep learning technique that takes features from the original medical imaging data at every level, starting at the lowest. For the purpose of intelligent illness identification and diagnosis, this research builds a deep learning-based data analysis model for medical pictures and transcripts. The model chooses and optimises model parameters using a vast amount of medical big data. It also automatically picks up on the pathological analysis process used by doctors or medical researchers. Finally, the model conducts disease judgement and effective decision-making based on the analysis findings of the medical big data. The outcome of the trial demonstrate that the approach can evaluate large amounts of medical data and achieve early illness detection. In addition, it may evaluate the patient's physical health state based on their physical examination data and forecast their future risk of contracting a certain disease. Greatly lower the workload for physicians or researchers in the medical field and increase the effectiveness of their effort.

Abstract:In recent technological advancement, the health recommendation system is gaining attention among the public to acquire health care services online. Traditional health recommendations are insecure due to the lack of security constraints caused by the intruders and not suitable to suggest appropriate recommendations. Thus, it creates hesitation in the minds of the people to share sensitive medical information. Hence, it is essential to design a privacy-preserving health recommendation system that should guarantee privacy and also suggest top-N recommendation to the user based on their preferences and earlier feedback. To cope with these issues, we propose a stacked discriminative de-noising convolution auto-encoder–decoder with a two-way recommendation scheme that provides secure and efficient health data to the end-users. In this scheme, privacy is assured to users through the modified blowfish algorithm. For structuring the big data collected from the patient, the Hadoop transform is used. Here, the two-way system analyzes and learns more effective features from the explicit and implicit information of the patient individually, and finally, all the learned features are fused to provide an efficient recommendation. The performance of the proposed system is analyzed with different statistical metrics and compared with recent approaches. From the result analysis, it is evident that the proposed system performs better than the earlier approaches.

Abstract:Deep Learning (DL) has emerged as the most effective approach for COVID-19 detection, but privacy concerns hinder its performance due to limited data sharing by medical institutions. To address this challenge, Federated Learning (FL) enables collaborative model training without compromising individual data privacy. However, existing approaches in this domain often prioritize factors like energy consumption, latency, and privacy over improving model accuracy and stability. To overcome these limitations, a novel approach called FL-inspired DL-assisted Data Analysis (FDDA) is proposed. FDDA utilizes aural and image-based data to identify COVID-19 symptoms, which are then analyzed using the Dynamic Integration Approach (DIA) to determine an individual's health status. The proposed solution achieves impressive accuracy rates of 97.78 and 98.58% for aural and image-based samples, respectively. Additionally, the DIA demonstrates an overall accuracy of 98.86% in symptom identification, making it a highly reliable decision-making tool. To ensure training stability, a dynamic factor is continuously updated as the model deepens its layers. The proposed solution exhibits remarkable reliability with an accuracy of 96.78% even when one of the data modalities is missing during testing. It outperforms existing baselines in terms of model training effectiveness, precision, and stability. By prioritizing accuracy and stability while addressing privacy concerns, FDDA presents a promising approach for COVID-19 detection in a federated learning setting.
