The aim of this study was to investigate the risk factors associated with postoperative VTE and explore the VTE predication capacity of D-dimer kinetics. Patients and Methods: Six hundred patients who had lung tumor surgery were analyzed retrospectively between January 2018 and August 2019, and venous ultrasound imaging and D-dimer examination before and after surgery were recommended to all operative patients. Of these 600 patients, 523 patients had venous thromboembolism after surgery, and 77 patients had not found. The general clinical data, postoperative prophylactic anticoagulant therapy, early systemic thromboprophylaxis, 50% increment of D-dimer, 100% increment of D-dimer, and perioperative (preoperative and days 1, 3, and 5 after surgery) D-dimer levels were collected. Logistic regression analysis was used to analyze the independent risk factors of postoperative VTE. Results: VTE developed in 77 (12.8%) patients. In a univariate analysis, age, surgical approach, tumor size, histology, postoperative preventive anticoagulation, postoperative limb compression therapy, postoperative hemostasis, duration of operation, early systemic thromboprophylaxis, 100% increment of D-dimer, preoperative and postoperative D-dimer level, intraoperative blood loss, and time spent in the hospital were significantly different between the thrombus group and nonthrombus group ( P 60 years ( P = 0.006) and D-dimer level on 5 days after surgery ( P = 0.000) were significant independent risk factors for VTE. Postoperative D-dimer was significantly higher than the preoperative level ( P < 0.001). Postoperative D-dimer level was significantly different between benign and malignant tumor groups ( P < 0.05) and between the thrombus group and nonthrombus group ( P < 0.001). Preventive anticoagulation and limb compression therapy starting from the first day after surgery was statistically significant between the thrombus group and the nonthrombus group ( P < 0.05). Conclusion: Continuous detection of D-dimer level after pulmonary tumor surgery combined with thrombotic-related risk factors can better evaluate the occurrence of VTE. Preventive anticoagulant therapy and limb compression therapy starting from the first day after surgery can effectively reduce the incidence of VTE. Abstract:Objective To explore the risk factors of lower extremity deep venous thrombosis (DVT) after orthopedic surgery in orthopedic patients.Methods We retrospectively analyzed 500 patients who underwent surgery in orthopedics due to degenerative diseases of the spine from September 2016 to May 2019.All patients underwent ultrasound examination of the lower extremities before surgery to confirm the absence of thrombosis Double lower extremity ultrasound on the 3th,6th,9th and 12th postoperative day.According to the results of ultrasound,the patients were divided into DVT group and non-DVT group.A total of 65 cases of DVT were diagnosed and the DVT formation rate was 13％.The age,D-dimer,body mass index (BMI),comorbidity,preoperative and postoperative coagulation,operation time,Logistic multivariate regression analysis of hospitalization time,intraoperative blood loss,etc.to explore risk factors associated with DVT.Results A total of 500 patients were included for analysis,According to the final results,65 patients were included in the DVT group,and 435 were included in the non-DVT group.The incidence of DVT was 13％.Univariate analysis showed statistically significant differences in age,BMI,and hypertension between the two groups (P ＜ 0.05).Logistic regression analysis showed D-dimer [odds ratio (OR) =7.059,95％ confidence interval (CI) =2.864-17.401],OR =1.836,95％ CI =1.022-3.301) and operative time (OR =1.513,95％ CI =1.039-2.203) is a risk factor for postoperative lower extremity DVT.Conclusion Obesity,D-dimer and long operation time are independent risk factors for lower extremity DVT.
[Retrospective Analysis of Risk Factors for Venous Thromboembolism in 283 Patients with Lung Cancer During Systemic Therapy].

Abstract:BACKGROUND:Patients with lung cancer have high risk of developing venous thromboembolism (VTE), which has been shown to have a significant impact on mortality. This study was to identify the incidence of VTE in lung cancer patients during systemic therapy and to analyze the risk factors associated with it. METHODS:We retrospectively analyzed the cases of 283 patients with lung cancer who received systemic therapy in the Department of Medical Oncology and Radiation Sickness, Peking University Third Hospital, from January 2016 to December 2018. Chi-square test and multivariate analyses were used to assess the correlation between clinical features and VTE. RESULTS:Of the patients we observed, 34 developed VTE, with an incidence of 12.01% (34/283). In patients with lower extremity varicose vein (LVV), there was an increase in the incidence of VTE (50.00% vs 9.89%, P=0.001). The incidence VTE in patients with distant metastasis was higher than that in patients without distant metastasis, and higher than that in patients with tumor-free (14.05% vs 14.00% vs 2.08%, P=0.024). The incidence of VTE in patients with active tumor was also significantly higher than that in patients without it (16.93% vs 8.18%, P=0.025). Patients with hypoalbuminemia (albumin <35 g/L) had more VTE events more than those without did (22.00% vs 9.87%, P=0.017), and patients with an elevated D-dimer level (>0.3 µg/mL) developed more VTE than those without did (17.93% vs 5.80%, P=0.006). There were no significant correlations between pathological types, blood cell count before systemic therapy including leukocyte, hemoglobin and platelet, or antiangiogenic drugs and VTE. Multivariate analysis showed that LVV, hypoalbuminemia and elevated level of D-dimer were independent risk factors of VTE. CONCLUSIONS:LVV, serum albumin and D-dimer level may be potential and more effective predictors of VTE in lung cancer patients during systemic therapy. Basing on these factors, new predictive model can be built, and further study to validate its efficacy is required.
Incidence of Venous Thromboembolism and Hemorrhage in Chinese Patients after Pulmonary Lobectomy: Mechanical Prophylaxis or Mechanical Prophylaxis Combined with Pharmacological Prophylaxis: a Randomized Controlled Trial.

Abstract:BACKGROUND:Venous thromboembolism (VTE) and postoperative bleeding are important complications of lung resection surgery. We investigated the preventive effect of mechanical prophylaxis versus pharmacological prophylaxis after lobectomy, and evaluated the effect of both on the incidence of hemorrhagic events.METHODS:A prospective study of 424 lobectomies with moderate to high risk of VTE (Caprini risk score <5) in a single center was performed from April 2020 to March 2021. Patients were 1:1 randomly allocated to mechanical prophylaxis or to the low-molecular-weight heparin (LMWH)-combination-prophylaxis. The incidence of postoperative thrombotic and bleeding events and relevant factors of the two groups were analyzed.RESULTS:A total of 410 participants, with 202 and 208 in the mechanical prophylaxis and LMWH-combination-prophylaxis groups respectively, were selected for analysis. Both groups had similar baseline and clinical characteristics. There were no cases of VTE or major bleeding during the study, but the incidence rate of minor bleeding in the LMWH-combination-prophylaxis group was significantly higher than mechanical prophylaxis group [odds ratio (OR) 0.035, 95% confidence interval (CI): 0.011-0.113].CONCLUSIONS:A case-by-case risk assessment of VTE and hemorrhage remains necessary to determine the most appropriate method of thrombosis prophylaxis for patients undergoing pulmonary surgery. Mechanical prophylaxis may be preferable for lung cancer patients with moderate to high risk of VTE (Caprini risk score <5) undergoing lobectomy.TRIAL REGISTRATION:Chinese Clinical Trial Registry ChiCTR2100051073.

Abstract:Objective Venous thromboembolism(VTE) is a major complication of cancer and one of the leading causes of death in patients with cancer.We therefore assessed the incidence and therapeutic options of VTE in Chinese lung cancer patients.Methods We retrospectively evaluated the charts of 260 patients with lung cancer at our ward between September 2007 and October 2008 and found 15 patients with VTE.We analyzed the clinical manifestations,diagnostic methods,treatment options,and outcomes of these patients.Results Of 15 patients,the VTE of 12 patients were contributed by central venous catheters.One patient with PE was diagnosed by CT scan,and others with venous thrombosis were confirmed by ultrasound.The low-molecular-weight heparins(LMWHs) were administered to these patients,and satisfactory results were obtained.Conclusion VTE should be carefully detected in patients with lung cancer include early detection and treatment.LMWHs have demonstrated optimistic efficacy and safety profiles.
Risk Factors and Prognosis Value of Venous Thromboembolism in Patients with Advanced Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer: a Case-Control Study

Abstract:Background: Venous thromboembolism (VTE) is the well-known complication of cancer, especially among lung cancer patients. The objective of this study is to identify the incidence, risk factors and prognosis of VTE in the patients with non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) in an advanced or metastatic stage (stage III or IV). We hypothesized that NSCLC patients associated with VTE may lead to poor prognosis. Methods: From 2012 to 2015, we retrospectively investigated 1,560 patients diagnosed with lung cancer in stage III or IV. Each VTE patient was matched with three control patients according to gender, age, pathology, clinical stage and the diagnosed time. Univariate and multivariate analyses were used in the study. Results: Among the 1,560 patients in our study, 32 (2.0%) developed VTE in locally advanced or metastatic stage lung cancer. Weight loss, serous effusion, the absence of the EGFR mutation, poor performance status (PS), hypoalbuminemia, hyponatremia, long prothrombin time (PT), and elevated levels of C-reaction-protein (CRP) and D-dimer were found to be associated with an increased risk of VTE by univariate analyses. The multivariate analyses revealed that weight loss, poor PS, increased CRP and long PT were significantly related to VTE. Overall survival (OS) from diagnosis was significantly shorter in patients with VTE (medians 14.2 vs. 24.4 months; P<0.001). Conclusions: The incidence of VTE was high among advanced NSCLC patients, particularly for those with weight loss, poor PS, increased CRP and long PT. Moreover, the patients with VTE complications may have a poorer prognosis.
[Risk factors of lung cancer complicated with symptomatic venous thromboembolism]

Abstract:Objective: To seek risk factors of VTE in patients with lung cancer through analysis of clinical features of patients with lung cancer complicated with venous thromboembolism (VTE). Methods: Retrospective investigation was performed on patients diagnosed with lung cancer and with complete clinical data who were hospitalized in Peking University People's Hospital from January 1, 2010 to December 31, 2014. According to the presence of symptomatic VTE, patients were distributed into two groups, VTE group and control group. Patients' clinical data and laboratory parameters were collected. Single factor analysis was applied to compare the differences between the two groups. t test or nonparametric test was applied for intragroup comparison of measurement data, and chi-square test was applied for the comparison of counting information. Logistic regression analysis was applied to explore risk factors of venous thromboembolism. For VTE patients with this diagnosis when they were hospitalized, D-dimer and PT were obtained after the occurrence of VTE, so D-dimer and PT were eliminated in the multiple factors analysis. SPSS 13.0 statistical software was applied for statistical management and analysis. Results: 548 patients with lung cancer were include in the investigation, with male 357, female 191, average age of (63.8±10.9) years old, 46 patients in VTE group and 502 patinets in control group. According to the results of single factor analysis in gender, age, tumor pathologic type, tumor stage, WBC, Hb, PLT, CEA, ALT, FIB, D-dimer, PT, APTT, PT-INR, the tumor stage (χ(2)=14.177), CEA (t=2.129) and Hb (t=-2.424) were risk factors for lung cancer patients complicated with venous thromboembolism. Logistic regression analysis showed that tumor stage was the independent risk factor of lung cancer complicated with venous thromboembolism (OR 2.058, 95%CI 1.307-3.238, P=0.002) , and CEA (r=0.395, P<0.001) and Hb (r=-0.144, P=0.001) were associated with lung cancer stage. The area under the curve formed by D-dimer predicting VTE was 0.825 (95%CI 0.751-0.900, P<0.001). Conclusion: Tumor stage is the only risk factor for lung cancer patients complicated with venous thromboembolism in the study. However, because this study is a retrospective study, other potential high risk factors causing VTE cannot be excluded.
Incidence of deep venous thrombosis (DVT) in patients undergoing thoracotomy and changes of hemostasis

Abstract:To survey the incidence of deep venous thrombosis (DVT) in high risk patients undergoing thoracotomy and observe the changes of hemostatic activity.Fifty-two consecutive patients (ages that ranged from 35 to 79, 34 men and 18 women) with lung or esophagus cancer were enrolled into this prospective trial. The patients included underwent major thoracic surgery from February 2003 to April 2003. Bilateral lower extremity duplex ultrasonography for DVT screening was performed 3-10 days post surgery in all 52 patients and 57 matched clinic normal controls. Venous blood was collected to determine fibrinogen (FIB), D-dimer(D-D), plasminogen activator inhibitor (PAI), antithrombin (AT)i thrombin antithrombin complex (TAT), prothrombin time (PT), international normalized ratio (INR), and activated partial thromboplastin time (APTT) immediately before surgery, the third and tenth days postoperatively. No patient had a prior thromboembotic history. Risk factors for DVT were evaluated.Of the 52 patients, 28 (53.8%) had an acute postoperative DVT detected in the calf. One patient died of suspected pulmonary embolism postoperatively. Plasma levels of FIB and D-D increased significantly up to 7 d after operation. AT level decreased significantly 3 d after operation and returned to normal 7 d latter. TAT increased significantly 3 d post operation and decreased to normal on day 7. PAI level was lowered 3 d after surgery, but increased significantly on day 7 compared with that on day 3. With the addition of risk factors related to thrombosis, the incidence of DVT was increased correspondingly.Of the patients undergoing major thoracic surgery,53.8% of them had a postoperative DVT by postoperative screening duplex ultrasound. In Chinese population, incidence of DVT appears to be high without prophylaxis, which is similar to other reports of westerners. These patients had a number of risk factors for the development of DVT, which include older age, overweight, hypertension, diabetes, and history of thromboembolism, etc. Prophylactic measures should be taken against postoperative venous thromboembolism in major thoracic surgery with high risk, including early mobilization, anticoagulant therapy with heparins, and intermittent pneumatic compression (IPC).
[Cloning, expression and biochemical characterization of a novel diacetylchitobiose deacetylase from the hyperthermophilic archaeon Pyrococcus horikoshii].

Abstract:Chitin is the second most abundant organic compound in nature and the degradation of this biomass is an important process in the recycling of nutrients in the environments. Several biodegradation pathway of chitin have been classified in eukaryotes and bacteria, and a unique chitin degradation pathway was proposed according to recent studies on hyperthermophilic archaeon Thermococcus kodakaraensis. In the genome of Pyrococcus horikoshii, several ORFs show high homology to the chitin-degrading related genes from T. kodakararaensis, therefore P. horikoshii is likely to have the same chitin degrading pathway as that of T. kodakaraensis. In order to further characterize the novel chitin degrading pathway in thermophilic archaea, a diacetylchitobiose deacetylase from P. horikoshii (Dacph) was studied in the present study. Dacph belongs to the LmbE-like protein family and the amino sequence is not related to the other deacetylases studied before (except that in T. kodakararaensis). The gene (Dacph, PH0499) from the hyperthermophilic archaeon P. horikoshii was amplified by polymerase chain reaction, cloned into expression vector pET15b, and expressed in E. coli BL21-codonPlus (DE3)-RIL. A soluble fraction of Dacph (31.6kDa) was obtained as shown by SDS-PAGE. TLC analysis showed that Dacph is able to deacetylate one acetyl group of GlcNAc2 and GlcNAc. By the concerted reaction with the Exo-beta-D-Glucosaminid-ase (BglAph), it is also able to convert GlcNAc2 into GlcN. It is concluded that PH0499 is a diacetylchit-obiose deacetylase. By reaction together with Exo-beta-D-Glucosaminidase in P. horikoshii, Dacph probably plays a key role in the new chitin degradation pathway in hyperthermophilic archaea (the genera Thermococcus and Pyrococcus).
Analysis of Risk Factors of Postoperative Lower Extremity Deep Venous Thrombosis in Patients With Cervical Cancer

Abstract:Clinical and Applied Thrombosis/Hemostasis, Volume 30, Issue , January-December 2024. Deep venous thrombosis (DVT) has a significant negative impact on surgical and tumor patient's safety and quality of life. There was no specific report on the incidence and risk factors of postoperative lower extremity DVT in cervical cancer patients. Analysis of the risk factors of postoperative DVT in patients with cervical cancer is of great clinical significance for prevention and treatment. We retrospectively analyzed 309 cervical cancer patients treated by the Hubei Cervical Cancer Prevention Center and used a logistic regression model to test the risk variables of postoperative lower extremity deep venous thrombosis in cervical cancer patients. By univariate analyses, the results of the study showed that the incidence of postoperative DVT was significantly increased in cervical cancer patients complicated with old age, obesity, high preoperative plasma D-dimer level, increased preoperative triglyceride level, chronic diseases (hypertension, diabetes, and cardiovascular disease), open surgery, long operation time, intraoperative blood transfusion, advanced tumor stage, and preoperative chemotherapy/radiotherapy. Advanced age, obesity, elevated preoperative D-dimer level, high preoperative triglyceride level, and open surgery were independent risk factors for postoperative lower extremity DVT in patients with cervical cancer by multivariate regression analyses (all P < .05). In gynecologic patients with cervical cancer, there is a high incidence of postoperative lower extremity DVT. Clinicians should develop systematic and comprehensive prevention and treatment measures for the risk factors to lower this morbidity and improve patient prognosis.

Abstract:This cross-sectional study was designed to obtain the current prevalence of deep vein thrombosis (DVT) and analyze related risk factors in patients undergoing lumbar interbody fusion.Medical record data were collected from Department of Spinal Surgery, The Third Hospital of Hebei Medical University, between July 2014 and March 2015. Both univariate analysis and binary logistic regression analysis were performed to determine risk factors for DVT.A total of 995 patients were admitted into this study, including 484 men and 511 women, aged from 14 to 89 years old (median 50, IQR 19). The detection rate of lower limb DVT by ultrasonography was 22.4% (223/995) in patients undergoing lumbar interbody fusion. Notably, average VAS (visual analog scale) score in the first 3 days after surgery in the DVT group was more than that in the non-DVT group (Z=-21.69, P<0.001). The logistic regression model was established as logit P=-13.257 + 0.056X(1) - 0.243X(8) + 2.085X(10) + 0.001X(12), (X-1=age; X-8=HDL; X-10=VAS; X-12=blood transfusion; x(2)=677.763, P<0.001).In conclusion, advanced age, high postoperative VAS scores, and blood transfusion were risk factors for postoperative lower limb DVT. As well, the logistic regression model may contribute to an early evaluation postoperatively to ascertain the risk of lower limb DVT in patients undergoing lumbar interbody fusion surgery.

Abstract:BACKGROUND Venous thromboembolism (VTE) is a major cause of morbidity and mortality in patients undergoing oncologic surgery. We sought to identify risk factors for postoperative VTE to define high-risk groups which may benefit from enhanced prophylactic measures. METHODS A retrospective cohort analysis using the STS General Thoracic Surgery Database was conducted on patients who underwent lung cancer resection between 2009-2021. Baseline characteristics and postoperative outcomes were compared between patients who did and did not develop a postoperative pulmonary embolism (PE) or deep venous thrombosis. Multivariable regression models identified risk factors associated with VTE. RESULTS Of 57,531 patients who underwent lung cancer resection, 758 (1.3%) developed a postoperative PE. Patients with PE were more likely to be black (12% vs 7%, p<0.001), have interstitial fibrosis (3% vs 2%, p=0.016), and prior VTE (12% vs 6%, p<0.001.) Patients with locally-advanced disease who underwent bilobectomy (6% vs 4%, p<0.001) or pneumonectomy (8% vs 5%, p<0.001) were more likely to develop postoperative PE. Patients with postoperative PE had increased 30-day mortality (14% vs 3%, p<0.001), reintubation (25% vs 8%, p<0.001), and readmission (49% vs 15%, p<0.001.) On multivariable analysis, black race (OR 1.74 [1.39-2.16], p<0.001), interstitial fibrosis (OR 1.77 [1.15-2.72], p=0.009), extent of resection, and increased operative duration were independently predictive of postoperative PE. A minimally invasive approach compared to thoracotomy was protective. CONCLUSIONS Because non-modifiable risk factors (black race, interstitial fibrosis, and advanced-stage disease) predominate in postoperative PE and VTE-associated mortality is increased, enhanced perioperative prophylactic measures should be considered in high-risk cohorts.

Abstract:Cancer is an independent major risk factor for venous thromboembolism (VTE), which is the second leading cause of death in medically and surgically treated patients with cancer (1-5). The association between VTE and lung cancer has been reported more than 20 years ago (6,7).

Abstract:Gene transfer was investigated in rare minnow via electroporated sperm. The sperm of the fish mixed with linear DNA (pCAhLFc) was electroporated. Then mature eggs were in vitro fertilized with these sperm cells. The DNA was extracted from the fries and analyzed by PCR. The percentage of fries with foreign genes varied between 25.5% and 66.7%. The observation of the electroporated sperm under microscope indicates that both the vigor of sperms and the successful ratio of the fertilization diminish, indicating that the electroporation with various parameters can hurt the sperm on different extent. The sperm cells electroporated with foreign genes, then was treated by DNA, and the DNA was extracted and was analyzed by PCR. It was found that foreign gene still exists, which approves that the electroporation can force the foreign gene enter the sperm of rare minnow.

Prevalence and Risk Factors of Deep Vein Thrombosis in Patients after Spine Surgery: a Retrospective Case-Cohort Study.

Abstract:Deep vein thrombosis (DVT) is common seen in patients undergoing spine surgery. However, its prevalence and associated risk factors have not been well understood yet. This retrospective case-cohort study was designed to investigate risk factors for postoperative DVT using retrospectively collected data from department of spine surgery between 07/2013 and 07/2014. Univariate analysis and binary logistic regression analysis were used to determine risk factors for DVT. A total of 861 patients were admitted into DVT-associated analyses, including 410 males and 451 females, aged from 15 to 87 years old (median 54, IQR 18). Of them, 147 cases (17%) sustained postoperative DVT. DVT incidence was 15.9% in patients undergoing lumbar interbody fusion, 13.5% in patients treated by low-molecular-weight heparin (LMWH), while only 8.1% in patients without LMWH. However, it revealed no significant difference between LMWH group and non-LMWH group (χ2 = 1.933, p = 0.164). Logistic regression equation was logit P = −4.09 + 0.05*X1 − 0.55*X2 + 0.41*X3 + 1.41*X7, (X1 = age; X2 = regions; X3 = hypertension; X7 = D-dimer). In this study, LMWH prophylaxis after spine surgery proved ineffective. Advanced age, D-dimer and hypertension have proved to be the risk factors for postoperative DVT in patients undergoing spine surgery.
Analysis for the related factors with deep venous thrombosis after lumbar posterior surgery

Abstract:Objective To investigate the influencing factors on deep venous thrombosis (DVT) after lumbar posterior surgery. Methods ?The clinical data about the patients who underwent lumbar posterior surgery in our hospital from June 2014 to January 2017 were retrospectively analyzed. According to different surgical methods,these patients were divided into four groups: balloon catheter extension vertebroplasty group, laminectomy group, TLIF single segment fusion group, TLIF multi segmental fusion group (fusion segment≥3). All the patients underwent bilateral lower limb venous ultrasonography to estimate the incidence of DVT at preoperative 1 day,postoperative 1 day and postoperative 1 week. Multivariate regression analysis was used to analyze the related risk factors and protective factors of DVT,Moreover the D-dimer levels after operation were detected,and its clinical value in diagnosis of DVT after lumbar posterior surgery was evaluated through ROC curve. Results The incidence rate of DVT after lumbar posterior surgery was the highest in TLIF multi segmental fusion group (P＜0. 05). Logistic regression showed that patient's age,body mass index,cardiovascular complications, diabetes,postoperative stay in bed for a long time,he increase of D-dimer levels were the risk factors of DVT (P＜0. 05),however, active and passive exercise in both lower limbs after surgery and application of antithrombotic drugs were the protective factors of DVT formation (P＜0. 05). Moreover ROC curve analysis showed that D-dimer content ≥19. 5μg/ml was the cut-off value of patients with DVT after lumbar posterior surgery. Conclusion The related factors with deep venous thrombosis after lumbar posterior surgery are numerous,it is important to much attention to the high risk population of DVT, and to prevent the incidence of DVT by taking corresponding preventive measures. Moreover D-dimer can be regarded as an important observation index to evaluate the incidence of DVT after lumbar posterior surgery.

Abstract:Objective To explore the impact of venous thromboembolism (VTE) on the diagnosis and treatment of lung cancer patients. Methods We retrospectively analyzed the clinical data of lung cancer patients with VTE treated in Peking University Cancer Hospital. The incidence of VTE was calculated and the relation between VTE and lung cancer was analyzed. Results Among 1766 patients with lung cancer, VTE occurred in 115(6.5%) patients. Among 115 VTE cases, there were 78(67.8%) males patients; 82(71.3%) cases were deep venous thrombosis, 21(18.3%) cases were pulmonary embolism, 12(10.4%) cases were deep venous thrombosis with pulmonary embolism; 74(64.3%) cases were symptomatic VTE; 102(88.7%) patients received antithrombotic therapy. Among the patients who received antithrombotic therapy, 97(95.1%) cases chose drug therapy. In drug treatment, 65(67.0%) cases used adequate/standard dose. Among 115 VTE cases, 52(45.2%) patients had improvement or disappearance of thrombus, 32(27.8%) patients had no improvement, and 31(27.0%) patients with unknown results; 11(9.6%) patients had adverse reactions such as bleeding during antithrombotic therapy; 30(26.1%) patients changed antineoplastic treatment plan due to VTE. Conclusion VTE is a common complication of lung cancer patients. Antithrombotic therapy for lung cancer patients with VTE is complex, the treatment effect is not ideal and the risk of adverse reactions such as bleeding is high. VTE has a great impact on the implementation of anti-cancer treatment.

Abstract:OBJECTIVES To investigate HEV infection in swine and the genotype relationship between swine and human HEV. METHODS Anti-HEV IgG antibody was detected in the sera of swine using enzyme linked immunoassay (EIA), and HEV RNA was amplified by reverse transcription nested polymerase chain reaction (RT-nPCR). The Vector NTI Suite 7 and TreeView softwares were used for nucleotide sequences phylogenetic analysis of HEV isolated from human and swine. RESULTS The anti-HEV IgG positive rate was 16.67% (18/108). Among the 18 anti-HEV IgG positive sera, 2 sequences (11.11%, called S18 and S43, respectively) of HEV ORF1 (102-387bp) were amplified, with the identity of 99% between them. They had 76% to 77%, 78%, 76% to 79%, 85% to 86%, 77%, 80%, 79% and 75% - 79% homology at the nucleotide level with human HEV genotypes 1 to 8, respectively. One (S18) of them was also amplified out in ORF2 region (5,994-6 297bp) and showed 76% to 78%, 74%, 74% to 77%, and 85% to 94% identity with human HEV genotypes 1 to 4 at the nucleotide level, respectively. CONCLUSION HEV sequences isolated from swine belong to human HEV genotype 4.
