What problem does this paper attempt to address?
The main issue this paper attempts to address is the impact of medical insurance on population health, particularly how basic medical insurance affects household livelihoods and population health within the context of China's health poverty alleviation policies. Specifically, the paper focuses on the following two aspects: 1. **Theoretical Level**: By introducing structural factors such as household livelihood assets and livelihood strategies, it aims to enhance the understanding of the poverty reduction effects of basic medical insurance and expand the theoretical boundaries of population health management. 2. **Policy Level**: It focuses on the impact of basic medical insurance on population health and proposes corresponding policy recommendations to improve the efficiency of population health management and further achieve common prosperity. The paper points out two main deficiencies in existing research: - A lack of studies on reducing population health risks through basic medical insurance. - Neglect of the significant impact of household structural factors on population health. Therefore, this paper explores the impact of basic medical insurance on population health within the sustainable livelihood framework, aiming to fill these research gaps.
