Abstract:Cancer care professionals are pivotal in translating the knowledge into action in the continuum of cancer control process. Unfortunately, in China and the Association of South-east Asian Nations (ASEAN), limited training opportunities are available for health professionals in the area of cancer prevention and control. Therefore, the Cancer Hospital, Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences (CICAMS), and the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) collaboratively designed and held the China-ASEAN Cancer Control and Prevention Training Program to provide continuing education opportunities for cancer professionals from China and ASEAN countries. The aim of this article is to report on the effectiveness and quality of the program and share our experience. A total of 36 participants from 12 countries completed the whole course including 1-month online learning and 1-week face-to-face workshop and cancer control facility tour in October 2017. After completion of the program, all participants were invited to fill out a questionnaire and to provide their comments on the training course. Out of 36 participants, 33 completed the evaluation form and they rated the training course highly in terms of satisfaction, value, and likelihood of recommending it to other colleagues. Additionally, all participants provided very detailed and practical comments on the course. Such an intensive, short-term, and comprehensive training program is expected to help participants establish a broader view of cancer prevention and control within the wider health services and be involved in national cancer control programs in a more efficient way. This training course could serve as a model for other institutes dedicated to nurturing future leaders in cancer control.

Abstract:PURPOSE Little data exist regarding approaches to support oncology professionals who deliver cancer care for underserved populations. In response, ASCO developed the Serving the Underserved Task Force to learn from and support oncology professionals serving underserved populations. METHODS The Task Force developed a 28-question survey to assess oncology professionals' experiences and strategies to support their work caring for underserved populations. The survey was deployed via an online link to 600 oncology professionals and assessed respondent and patient demographic characteristics, clinic-based processes to coordinate health-related social services, and strategies for professional society support and engagement. We used chi-square tests to evaluate whether there were associations between percent full-time equivalent (FTE) effort serving underserved populations (<50% FTE v ≥50% FTE) with responses. RESULTS Of 462 respondents who completed the survey (77% response rate), 79 (17.1%) were Asian; 30 (6.5%) Black; 43 (9.3%) Hispanic or Latino/Latina; and 277 (60%) White. The majority (n = 366, 79.2%) had a medical doctor degree (MD). A total of 174 (37.7%) had <25% FTE, 151 (32.7%) had 25%-50% FTE, and 121 (26.2%) had ≥50% FTE effort serving underserved populations. Most best guessed patients' sociodemographic characteristics (n = 388; 84%), while 42 (9.2%) used data collected by the clinic. Social workers coordinated most health-related social services. However, in clinical settings with high proportions of underserved patients, there was greater reliance on nonclinical personnel, such as navigators (odds ratio [OR], 2.15 [95% CI, 1.07 to 4.33]) or no individual (OR, 2.55 [95% CI, 1.14 to 5.72]) for addressing mental health needs and greater reliance on physicians or advance practice practitioners (OR, 2.54 [95% CI, 1.11 to 5.81]) or no individual (OR, 1.91 [95% CI, 1.09 to 3.35]) for addressing childcare or eldercare needs compared with social workers. Prioritization of solutions, which did not differ by FTE effort serving underserved populations, included a return-on-investment model to support personnel, integrated health-related social needs screening, and collaboration with the professional society on advocacy and policy. CONCLUSION The findings highlight crucial strategies that professional societies can implement to support oncology clinicians serving underserved populations with cancer.

Abstract:A growing sense of the need to define good-quality cancer care has emerged in the past decade of the 20th century. The goals were to assess, improve, and reward quality. Animated debates between cancer care delivery academic and community organizations, governmental agencies, and insurance companies have led to multiple initiatives and pilot projects. ASCO was on the cutting edge of quality in oncology movement. We can define three phases, overlapping rather than sequential, in ASCO's journey. The first phase was generating definitions of good-quality care characterized by the publication of ASCO guidelines. The second phase was the creation of the tools to measure the implementation of standards of care with the creation of the Quality Oncology Practice Initiative (QOPI). The third phase was the launch of a comprehensive approach to cancer care quality as illustrated by QOPI Certification, then the more complete iteration, ASCO Certified Program. The latter is the most elaborate program to define quality from the patient and health care providers' perspective on one hand and governmental agencies and insurance providers' perspective on the other. Since the publication of the Ensuring Quality Cancer Care Report in 1998 to the ASCO Certified in 2023, a quarter century has elapsed. ASCO did not operate in a vacuum. Through collaborative efforts, reacting to and interacting with various players, it has advocated for positive change. During this period, ASCO has led the movement of quality in oncology intelligently and with the upmost sense of responsibility toward the patients, health care professionals, and society at large. While many of these efforts began domestically, their reach is extending globally through research, education, and the promotion of equitable care.

Abstract:The Asia Pacific Advanced Prostate Cancer Consensus Conference (APAC APCCC 2018) brought together 20 experts from 15 APAC countries to discuss the real-world application of consensus statements from the second APCCC held in St Gallen in 2017 (APCCC 2017).Differences in genetics, environment, lifestyle, diet and culture are all likely to influence the management of advanced prostate cancer in the APAC region when compared with the rest of the world. When considering the strong APCCC 2017 recommendation for the use of upfront docetaxel in metastatic castration-naïve prostate cancer, the panel noted possible increased toxicity in Asian men receiving docetaxel, which would affect this recommendation in the APAC region. Although androgen receptor-targeting agents appear to be well tolerated in Asian men with metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer, access to these drugs is very limited for financial reasons across the region. The meeting highlighted that cost and access to contemporary treatments and technologies are key factors influencing therapeutic decision-making in the APAC region. Whilst lower cost/older treatments and technologies may be an option, issues of culture and patient or physician preference mean, these may not always be acceptable. Although generic products can reduce cost in some countries, costs may still be prohibitive for lower-income patients or communities. The panellists noted the opportunity for a coordinated approach across the APAC region to address issues of access and cost. Developments in technologies and treatments are presenting new opportunities for the diagnosis and treatment of advanced prostate cancer. Differences in genetics and epidemiology affect the side-effect profiles of some drugs and influence prescribing.As the field continues to evolve, collaboration across the APAC region will be important to facilitate relevant research and collection and appraisal of data relevant to APAC populations. In the meantime, the APAC APCCC 2018 meeting highlighted the critical importance of a multidisciplinary team-based approach to treatment planning and care, delivery of best-practice care by clinicians with appropriate expertise, and the importance of patient information and support for informed patient choice.

Abstract:Structure, attendees, discussion topics, and key themes of Asia Pacific Advanced Prostate Cancer Consensus Conference 2023. Aim The aim of the third Asia‐Pacific Advanced Prostate Cancer Consensus Conference (APAC APCCC 2023) was to discuss the application in the Asia‐Pacific (APAC) region of consensus statements from the 4th Advanced Prostate Cancer Consensus Conference (APCCC 2022). Methods The one‐day meeting in July 2023 brought together 27 experts from 14 APAC countries. The meeting covered five topics: (1) Intermediate‐ and high‐risk and locally advanced prostate cancer; (2) Management of newly diagnosed metastatic hormone‐sensitive prostate cancer; (3) Management of non‐metastatic castration‐resistant prostate cancer; (4) Homologous recombination repair mutation testing; (5) Management of metastatic castration‐resistant prostate cancer. Pre‐ and post‐symposium polling gathered APAC‐specific responses to APCCC consensus questions and insights on current practices and challenges in the APAC region. Results APAC APCCC highlights APAC‐specific considerations in an evolving landscape of diagnostic technologies and treatment innovations for advanced prostate cancer. While new technologies are available in the region, cost and reimbursement continue to influence practice significantly. Individual patient considerations, including the impact of chemophobia on Asian patients, also influence decision‐making. Conclusion The use of next‐generation imaging, genetic testing, and new treatment combinations is increasing the complexity and duration of prostate cancer management. Familiarity with new diagnostic and treatment options is growing in the APAC region. Insights highlight the continued importance of a multidisciplinary approach that includes nuclear medicine, genetic counseling, and quality‐of‐life expertise. The APAC APCCC meeting provides an important opportunity to share practice and identify APAC‐specific issues and considerations in areas of low evidence where clinical experience is growing.

Abstract:e23017 Background: The 2021-2022 Association of Community Cancer Centers (ACCC) President’s Theme centered on strengthening a work culture that supports professional well-being and workforce resilience. To support this theme and help ensure sustainable high quality cancer care delivery, ACCC —an education and advocacy organization for the multidisciplinary oncology care team (MDT)—designed a multifaceted professional development initiative. Educational interventions were designed to address team member burnout and building resilience, critical issues facing members of today’s oncology workforce. Methods: ACCC designed a collaborative and bi-directional peer-support educational initiative to drive the mission of the 2021-2022 ACCC President’s Theme. Professional Development opportunities included: 1) Expert-led mindfulness meditation series of 10 guided exercises tailored to help MDT members manage through social, emotional, physical, and mental health challenges. 2) Professional development themed virtual meetings, styled as “Coffee Chat Learning Sessions,” facilitated by the ACCC President, addressing emergent challenges and opportunities facing MDT members. 3) Podcast series featuring timely topics related to MDT well-being and resiliency amid the COVID-19 Pandemic. Podcast topics include a) The Business Case for Hiring Oncology Social Workers. b) Leading with Gratitude. c) Coping with Pandemic Grief. d) A Summer of Disconnect for Cancer Professionals. e) COVID-19 Self-Care. f) Real-World Lessons from COVID-19. Results: The education initiative reached a diverse cohort of oncology care community members. 76 unique professionals participated in the small group “Coffee Chat Learning Sessions” from 25 states and represented 72 unique cancer care programs, practices, and institutions. The meditation series engaged more than 1,100 users and the podcast series garnered 1,870 learners. The podcast episode titled “COVID-19 Self Care” was the third most accessed ACCC Podcast episode of all time with more than 680 views. Over 2,900 learners accessed and engaged with the ACCC President’s Theme resources across the dedicated webpage from March 2021-January 2022. Conclusions: Anecdotal learner feedback has been overwhelmingly positive regarding this professional development educational initiative. In a climate of high burnout and health care worker fatigue, the ACCC 2021-2022 President’s Theme Education program has served as a unique lifeline and resource to members of the oncology community to restore and develop resiliency, enhance well-being, and advance professional connections and peer-to-peer support to meet continued challenges. Lessons learned from these activities will guide and inform future professional development opportunities.

Abstract:Aim The second Asia-Pacific Advanced Prostate Cancer Consensus Conference (APAC APCCC 2020) gathered insights into the real-world application in the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region of consensus statements from the 3rd Advanced Prostate Cancer Consensus Conference (APCCC 2019). Methods The 4-h our virtual meeting in October 2020 brought together 26 experts from 14 APAC countries to discuss APCCC 2019 recommendations. Presentations were prerecorded and viewed prior to the meeting. A postmeeting survey gathered views on current practice. Results The meeting and survey highlighted several developments since APAC APCCC 2018. Increased access and use in the region of PSMA PET/CT imaging is providing additional diagnostic and staging information for advanced prostate cancer and influencing local and systemic therapy choices. Awareness of oligometastatic disease, although not clearly defined, is increasing. Novel androgen receptor pathway antagonists are expanding treatment options. Cost and access to contemporary treatments and technologies continue to be a significant factor influencing therapeutic decisions in the region. With treatment options increasing, multidisciplinary treatment planning, shared decision making, and informed choice remain critical. A discussion on the COVID-19 pandemic highlighted challenges for diagnosis, treatment, and clinical trials and new service delivery models that will continue beyond the pandemic. Conclusion APAC-specific prostate cancer research and data are important to ensure that treatment guidelines and recommendations reflect local populations and resources. Facilitated approaches to collaboration across the region such as that achieved through APAC APCCC meetings continue to be a valuable mechanism to ensure the relevance of consensus guidelines within the region.

Abstract:Cancer agencies within Canada operate with a variety of leadership models, assuming that future leaders are identified, developed and supported by institutions other than their own. A literature review, comprehensive survey and structured interviews were conducted to illuminate the perceptions of leadership in Canadian cancer centres. The major finding from the study is the significant gap between the competencies that leaders acknowledge as being important and the lack of development programs for future and current leaders. The study also showed there is agreement on preferred leadership models and the personal traits that identify future leaders worthy of development. Given the current struggles of leadership, the authors suggest that cancer agencies need to strategize how to advance succession planning and leadership development frameworks.

Abstract:Effective leaders in healthcare settings create a motivating work environment, initiate changes in practice, and facilitate interdisciplinary collaboration to advance patient-centered care. Health professionals in cancer education need leadership development to meet the continued rise in cancer cases and to keep up with the rapid biomedical and technological advances in global cancer care. In addition, leadership development in cancer education supports interprofessional collaboration, optimizes patient engagement, and provides mentorship opportunities necessary for career advancement and skill development. The identified benefits from leadership development in cancer education led to the creation of an interactive pilot leadership workshop titled "Essential Skills in Cancer Education: Leadership, Leading, and Influencing Change in Cancer Education," held at the International Cancer Education Conference in October 2020. The workshop was led by global leaders in cancer education and utilized lectures, mentorship opportunities, interactive case studies, and individual learning projects to develop leadership skills in multidisciplinary oncology professionals. Fifteen attendees from diverse educational backgrounds and levels of experience participated in the virtual leadership workshop and mentorship program. Following the workshop, participants reported an increase in knowledge regarding how to use different leadership styles, initiate changes in practice, and apply leadership skills in their career development and at their institutions. The feedback received from participants through post-workshop evaluations was overall positive and demonstrated an interest for more leadership development opportunities in cancer education. This pilot workshop shows that leadership is a valuable and teachable skill that will benefit both healthcare professionals and patients in the field of cancer education.

The past few decades have seen rapid and unparalleled progress in cancer control. Investigative breakthroughs, such as those in cancer genomics and immunology, have transformed our understanding of the disease. New discoveries in cancer prevention have mitigated risk factors, and improvements in surgical techniques, radiotherapy technologies, and systemic agents have led to substantial improvements in cancer cure rates—an absolute survival increase of roughly 20% during the past three decades.

Abstract:This report serves as a snapshot of the state-of-knowledge in the Asia Pacific (APAC) Hematology Oncology community, and establishes a baseline for longitudinal investigations to follow changes in best practices over time. The objective of this study was to understand the approach to hematologic diseases, common standards of care and best practices, issues that remain controversial or debated, and educational or resource gaps that warrant attention. We used mobile application to disseminate and distribute questionnaires to delegates during the 6th international hematologic malignancies conference hosted by the APAC Hematology Consortium at Beijing, China. User responses were collected in an anonymous fashion. We report survey results in two ways: the overall responses, and responses as stratified between Chinese physicians and "Other" represented nationalities. Overall geographical concordance in survey responses was positive and strong. Perhaps more interesting than instances of absolute agreement, these data provide a unique opportunity to identify topics in which physician knowledge or opinions diverge. We assigned questions from all modules to broad categories of: patient information; diagnosis; treatment preference; transplantation; and general knowledge/opinion. On average, we observed a geographic difference of 15% for any particular answer choice, and this was fairly constant across survey modules. These results reveal utility and need for widespread and ongoing initiatives to assess knowledge and provide evidence-based education in real time. The data will be made more valuable by longitudinal participation, such that we can monitor changes in the state of the art over time.

Abstract:The burden of leukemia and related diseases is rapidly growing in Asia. Currently, there is a paucity of regional collaborative groups/initiatives that focus exclusively on the management of leukemia in the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region. The Asia-Pacific Leukemia Consortium (APLC) was established on the 8 September 2021 to understand the status quo, unmet needs, and ways to improve the management of leukemia and related diseases in the APAC region. The APLC working group set up a group of experts from various countries (Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Hong Kong, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, China, and Australia) to discuss on the status of: (i) clinical trials; (ii) disease registry database; (iii) genetic and tissue repository; (iv) patient advocacy and care; and (v) disease prevention and education in the APAC region. Low levels of awareness about leukemia amongst the public, lack of financial support, and limited access to newly approved therapies were identified as barriers to the implementation of effective leukemia management in low- or mid-income Asian countries. Patients often enroll in clinical trials to gain access to novel/approved therapies. The APLC group aims to address the growing threat of leukemia through a collaborative approach to advance disease prevention, research, clinical trials, and education.

Abstract:Purpose The Scaling What Works (SWW) program aimed to build the capacity of National Comprehensive Cancer Control Program (NCCCP) recipients to scale three CDC-identified cancer control projects through training, mentorship, and technical assistance (TA). The SWW program held a Symposium to provide in-person training on adapting, implementing, evaluating, sustaining, and scaling the three projects. We recruited 100% of US-Affiliated Pacific Island (USAPI) NCCCP programs (n=6), who made up approximately 26% of all programs that attended the Symposium (n=23). The USAPI jurisdictions face high cancer burden due, in part, to the United States nuclear legacy, the effects of climate change, limited medical infrastructure, and lack of culturally competent, centralized care across the almost 4,000 miles that the USAPI spans. Through the SWW program, USAPI recipients are supported in their ongoing efforts to mitigate cancer disparities affecting their communities. MethodsWe applied community-based participatory research methods and health equity principles to ensure the SWW program was relevant and responsive to the USAPI recipients' contexts and needs. We created a SWW subcommittee to learn about and advocate for the specific needs of the USAPI. The committee spoke with ten clinicians and researchers with experience working in the USAPI, across four informal meetings, to understand the unique cancer prevention and control context of each USAPI jurisdiction. The committee reviewed USAPI cancer plans and extracted data related to SWW activities, including cancer prevention priorities, community partners, demographic characteristics, and healthcare infrastructure. Data were added to a matrix, coded, and summarized by subcommittee team members to develop a USAPI fact sheet. We shared the fact sheet with SWW Symposium facilitators and mentors to provide them with the necessary information to support the USAPI programs. Findings We identified components critical to providing effective training and TA that will support USAPI-led work to address disparities in cancer prevention and control. These components include 1) acknowledging the current and historical power dynamics that establish the USAPI cancer prevention and control program space, 2) adjusting generalized training content to each jurisdiction's unique context and cancer prevention goals, 3) adapting communication strategies to USAPI programs' preferences and time zones, 4) facilitating networking opportunities both between NCCCP USAPI jurisdictions and across all NCCCP recipients to build a SWW community of practice, and 5) establishing a sustained, bidirectional partnership between USAPI program leaders and the SWW team to collaborate on future cancer prevention and control projects and to provide training and TA, as needed. ConclusionsThe lessons learned from SWW regarding health equity and capacity-building can inform the efforts of researchers, evaluators, and training and TA providers working with USAPI jurisdictions, states, and territories engaged in cancer prevention and control work. Abstract:There has long existed a substantial disparity in access to radiotherapy globally. This issue has only been exacerbated as the growing disparity of cancer incidence between high-income countries (HIC) and low and middle-income countries (LMICs) widens, with a pronounced increase in cancer cases in LMICs. Even within HICs, iniquities within local communities may lead to a lack of access to care. Due to these trends, it is imperative to find solutions to narrow global disparities. This requires the engagement of a diverse cohort of stakeholders, including working professionals, non-governmental organizations, nonprofits, professional societies, academic and training institutions, and industry. This review brings together a diverse group of experts to highlight critical areas that could help reduce the current global disparities in radiation oncology. Advancements in technology and treatment, such as artificial intelligence, brachytherapy, hypofractionation, and digital networks, in combination with implementation science and novel funding mechanisms, offer means for increasing access to care and education globally. Common themes across sections reveal how utilizing these new innovations and strengthening collaborative efforts among stakeholders can help improve access to care globally while setting the framework for the next generation of innovations.

Abstract:A message from ASCO'S President. It has been forty years since President Richard Nixon signed the National Cancer Act of 1971, which many view as the nation's declaration of the "War on Cancer." The bill has led to major investments in cancer research and significant increases in cancer survival. Today, two-thirds of patients survive at least five years after being diagnosed with cancer compared with just half of all diagnosed patients surviving five years after diagnosis in 1975. The research advances detailed in this year's Clinical Cancer Advances demonstrate that improvements in cancer screening, treatment, and prevention save and improve lives. But although much progress has been made, cancer remains one of the world's most serious health problems. In the United States, the disease is expected to become the nation's leading cause of death in the years ahead as our population ages. I believe we can accelerate the pace of progress, provided that everyone involved in cancer care works together to achieve this goal. It is this viewpoint that has shaped the theme for my presidential term: Collaborating to Conquer Cancer. In practice, this means that physicians and researchers must learn from every patient's experience, ensure greater collaboration between members of a patient's medical team, and involve more patients in the search for cures through clinical trials. Cancer advocates, insurers, and government agencies also have important roles to play. Today, we have an incredible opportunity to improve the quality of cancer care by drawing lessons from the real-world experiences of patients. The American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) is taking the lead in this area, in part through innovative use of health information technology. In addition to our existing quality initiatives, ASCO is working with partners to develop a comprehensive rapid-learning system for cancer care. When complete, this system will provide physicians with personalized, real-time information that can inform the care of every patient with cancer as well as connect patients with their entire medical teams. The rapid learning system will form a continuous cycle of learning: securely capturing data from every patient at the point of care, drawing on evidence-based guidelines, and evaluating quality of care against those standards and the outcomes of other patients. Clinical trials are another area in which collaboration is critical. Increasing clinical trial participation will require commitment across the cancer community from physicians, patients, insurers, hospitals, and industry. A 2010 report by the Institute of Medicine described challenges to participation in trials by both physicians and patients and provided recommendations for revitalizing clinical trials conducted through the National Cancer Institute's Cooperative Group Program. ASCO has pledged its support for the full implementation of these recommendations. More broadly, ASCO recently outlined a bold vision for translational and clinical cancer research for the next decade and made recommendations to achieve that vision. Accelerating Progress Against Cancer: ASCO's Blueprint for Transforming Clinical and Translational Research, released in November, calls for a research system that takes full advantage of today's scientific and technologic opportunities and sets a high-level agenda for policy makers, regulators, and advocates. Cancer research has transformed cancer care in the past forty years, and this year's Clinical Cancer Advances illustrates how far we have come in the past year alone. We now have a tremendous opportunity to use today's knowledge and collaborate across all facets of cancer care to conquer this deadly disease. Michael P. Abstract:Leadership is emerging as an important component of health professional training. This study aimed to characterize current leadership development in accredited genetic counseling programs. Semi‐structured interviews with program leadership were conducted to explore their program's leadership curricula and their perspectives on the meaning of leadership and its place in genetic counseling training. Eleven interviews were conducted and focused on seven categories related to study goals. Using the Framework Method, themes were generated within the predefined categories. Categories and themes included Defining Leadership (Positional vs Non‐positional, Beliefs about Leadership, Role of Leadership in the Field of Genetic Counseling), Leadership Curricula Origin and Delivery (Course‐based and Longitudinal, Explicit vs. Implicit, Origin of Material), Role of Faculty and Students (Role of Faculty, Expectations for Students and Qualities of Students), Skills, Evaluation, Priority (Potential for Improvement, Barriers and Facilitators), and Standards (Current Incorporation, Potential Incorporation). All programs had some form of leadership development, but many participants lacked a personal or program definition of leadership. Leadership development varied in curricula and delivery, but most were longitudinal and faculty‐driven, with communication, teaching, advocacy, and collaboration as commonly taught skills. However, leadership development opportunities were rarely labeled as such, and participants identified labeling current leadership development as the top area for improvement. Labeling leadership development could improve assessment of current efforts and the ability to address gaps in leadership curricula. This would lay the foundation for necessary intentional leadership development, in turn helping us better advocate for our patients and the profession.

Abstract:Background and purpose: Despite changing clinical care dynamics, health professions education has been slow in addressing gaps in leadership development as teaching and assessment of clinical care-related knowledge, skills, and attitudes remain central across curricula. While accreditation standards across health professions programs acknowledge the importance of leadership development within curricula, it remains an underrepresented aspect of health professions training. Educational activity and setting: Given the varied approach to leadership training, we set out to develop a tailored approach to leadership development that integrated the Center for the Advancement of Pharmacy Education (CAPE) outcomes and was based on self-awareness, skill-building, and application. This pilot included three cohorts of doctor of pharmacy students and measured their knowledge, skills, and self-awareness as they progressed through this year-long program. It also measured leadership competency attainment using a pre- and post-assessment in one cohort. Findings: Participant satisfaction was assessed using session and program evaluations, while self-perception of growth and leadership competency attainment was assessed using a survey that was administered before and after program participation. Participants found the program to be beneficial in meeting stated objectives and in creating a conducive learning environment. Results of the pre- and post-assessment indicated growth in all dimensions of self-perception of knowledge, skills, and self-awareness, as well as attainment of leadership competency personal leadership commitment and leadership knowledge. Summary: Offering co-curricular leadership development programs based on CAPE outcomes and leadership competencies provided students with the opportunity to develop leadership skills and acquire knowledge needed to be effective healthcare leaders.
