Abstract:This article summarizes the arguments and counterarguments within the scientific debate on the identification of the main theoretical and practical principles of the functioning of innovative-industrial clusters in different countries, as well as the formalization of the impact of digitalization on their activities. The article summarizes scientific approaches to determining the main characteristics and features of the functioning of innovation-industrial clusters. In order to substantiate the theoretical background of the relationship between innovation-industrial clusters’ performance and digitalization processes, a bibliometric analysis of the main Scopus publications in this direction is carried out using the VOSviewer toolkit. That made it possible to identify the main essential and contextual clusters of scientific research on relevant topics to characterize the evolutionary patterns of their changes during the analysis period. In order to determine the empirical causality of the impact of digitalization on innovative and industrial development, an integral indicator of innovative and industrial development is developed. The Index considers the measurement parameters and regional features of industrial, entrepreneurial, and innovative development. Indicators were integrated using the principal components analysis and additive convolution. The study modelled the influence proxies of the digital economy on the integrated indicator of innovative and industrial development using panel data regression modelling in the Stata 14.2/SE software. In the paper, it is also identified those determinants of the digital development of the state that depends to the greatest extent on the volatility of the innovative and industrial development of the country using one-factor regression models. The study is conducted for the country sample with 10 countries, including Azerbaijan, Estonia, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Romania, and Ukraine. The time horizon of the study covers the period 2009-2021 (or the latest available period). The research results can be useful to scientists, state authorities, and local governments.

Abstract:The implementation of the Concept of Scientific and Technological Development of Russia until 2030 involves a radical transformation of the usual way of modern business. First of all, it focuses on eliminating the gap in the pace of innovative economic growth of the domestic industrial structure from the world leaders through the use of digital and new information technologies, increasing the efficiency of the growth of economic processes and business models. The purpose of the scientific article is to study the possibilities of digitalization of the innovation management system and develop scientific and practical recommendations for the introduction of new technologies in Russian industrial enterprises. In the process of achieving this goal, the methods of statistical, portfolio, structural analysis and synthesis, generalization, analogy, system analysis were used. Based on the results of the analysis carried out by the author, recommendations were made to improve the efficiency of the system for managing the innovation activity of industrial enterprises. Scientific conclusions and proposals are of high importance for the development of theoretical and methodological provisions of innovation management and acceleration of economic and innovative growth of the Russian economy. Thus, scientific and practical recommendations and conclusions formed in the work can act as a methodological and information base for the management of enterprises in the implementation of a set of actions to ensure effective management of innovation activities and improve the methodological tools of innovation management using modern digital technologies.

Abstract:The main focus in the development of socio-economic formations, and in particular industrial production, is shifted to the use of fundamentally new progressive technologies (built on the principles of the active use of environmentally friendly materials, safe ways of disposing of production and human wastes, non-waste production, material and energy efficiency and etc.), modern outputs with new consumer properties. The need to accelerating the processes of digitalization and digital transformation of the economy is proved in order to achieve competitive positions in the emerging digital space of the new world economy. At the theoretical and methodological level, it has been proved that the development and implementation of mechanisms for controlling the technical and technological component of innovation in the context of the digital transformation of socio-economic systems will contribute to increasing the strategic potential of subjects of the real sector of the economy, increasing their adaptive capabilities and strengthening competitive advantages. In the new economic conditions, all domestic economic entities aiming at stable functioning are forced to go through the process of digital transformation, which is understood as the introduction of modern technologies into the business processes of socio-economic systems at all levels. It implies not only the installation of modern equipment or software, but also fundamental changes in approaches to management, corporate culture, and external communications. As a result, the profitability and business activity of the enterprise increase and it gains a reputation as a progressive and modern organization. Digitalization issues for the innovative development of Ukrainian industry are the number one priority. They find a place in specifying the development strategies of the leading sectors of the national economy, especially export-oriented ones. They provide the flow of processes based on digital technologies. More and more digital products are emerging that provide digital, computing, telecommunications, and networking devices. At the same time, the digital economy is increasingly seen as a set of social relations that are formed as a result of the use of electronic technologies, as well as technologies to ensure the analysis of large volumes of information to optimize the processes of forecasting, planning, output and consumption of science intensive and high-tech products, as well as increasing the level of economic development of the country. The systematization of scientific work in the field of studying the factors influencing the innovative activity of an enterprise made it possible to develop the following classification of factors influencing the effectiveness of innovative processes, as well as to justify groups of factors (barriers) that impede the development and implementation of technological innovations in the context of structural changes in the global economy caused by its digitalization. A very important stage in the development of relevant indicators is the formation of the information area on which they are defined. First of all, it is about the content of the initial indicators and their indicators, which are able to assess the effectiveness of the implementation of technical and technological innovations in enterprises of the real sector of the economy, while they should be objective characteristics of the relevant influence factors and can be obtained on the basis of official statistical information. The definition of the integrated performance index for the introduction of technical and technological innovations in enterprises of the real sector of the economy in the context of structural changes in the world economy caused by its digitalization and the corresponding sub-indices in its structure is based on a four-level hierarchical model, i.e., the integrated performance indicator is a vector with the types of sub-indices components on influence factors. The developed hierarchical model allows us to build several types of sub-indices, differentially by hierarchy levels, for a deeper analysis of the current level of effectiveness of the introduction of technical and technological innovations in enterprises of the real sector of the economy in the context of structural changes in the world economy caused by its digitalization. This approach provides an opportunity to accurately determine the main factors (and the degree of their impact) that affect the effectiveness of the introduction of technical and technological innovations in enterprises of the real sector of the economy in the context of structural changes in the world economy caused by its digitalization and justify management decisions in the structure of the corresponding management mechanism. The practical implementation of the methodology for assessing the effectiveness of the innovative economy activating in the context of structural changes in the world economy caused by its digitalization is based on statistical data on the value of the relevant indicators (financial, economic, socio-economic, technical, technological, institutional and legal factors) for a certain period of time. This involves the use of official materials of the State Statistics Service of Ukraine, namely: structural statistics indicators for business entities, indicators of cost, availability and condition of fixed assets of enterprises of Ukraine by type of economic activity, capital investment by type and source of formation, indices of industrial products produced and sold and other technical and economic indicators of industrial enterprises. As the main directions of enhancing and development of technical and technological innovations of enterprises in the real sector of the economy in the context of structural changes in the world economy caused by its digitalization we should consider: effective state support of innovative programs for the development of production enterprises (especially export-oriented), attraction of venture capital , increasing the financial stability of the enterprise, increasing the flexibility of production processes, the use of advanced methods of organizing production, labor and enterprise management.

Abstract:The digital transformation of industry allows a significant increase in labor productivity and the growth of gross domestic product in the manufacturing sector, which ultimately leads to an increase in the welfare of the country’s citizens. However, to solve the existing systemic problems, such as low labor productivity, irrational use of resources, low efficiency of production facilities, etc., it is necessary to implement an effective management mechanism. The implementation of such a mechanism will solve the problems of managing the digital transformation of industrial enterprises, improve the efficiency of production facilities and reduce transaction costs and the complexity of forming responsible cooperative chains. The purpose is to develop a mechanism for managing the digital transformation of economic activities of industrial enterprises. Methodology in article: the research methodology is based on existing theoretical developments relating to industrial economics, management issues of industrial complexes, industries, enterprises. Results: the mechanism for managing the digital transformation of the economic activities of industrial enterprises, representing a set of methods and tools used to change business models and management processes through new paradigms based on digital thinking, revision of organizational processes and digital culture of the industrial enterprise, optimization of the enterprise management system as a whole. Practical implications: the obtained results can be used in the activities of corporate industrial systems engaged in technological development, digitalization and digital transformation projects.

Abstract:Methods. The generalization and analysis made it possible to prove that the most important condition for the economic development of the country in modern turbulent conditions is to ensure the stability of the development of industrial enterprises in the real sector of the economy. In the course of the globalization of the economy, accompanied by the active development of the economic space, the acceleration of the exchange of information, technology, knowledge and experience, contribute to the transformation of industrial enterprises and increase their dynamism, which puts forward new requirements for doing business. The issues of the constancy of functioning and development of industrial enterprises are becoming increasingly important due to the increasing impact on business entities of negative trends caused by exogenous and endogenous factors (financial crises, pandemics, military events, etc.). Accordingly, qualitative changes are needed in the management mechanisms at the level of industrial enterprises to ensure their sustainable functioning and development. In unstable economic conditions, the management of industrial enterprises must be based on the principles of adaptation to ensure economically sustainable functioning and development in the long term. However, at present, one can state the low quality of management, which negatively affects the efficiency of industrial enterprises. Consequently, the modern market economy requires absolutely innovative approaches to management, which are based on the principles of selffinancing, self-sufficiency, self-government. Results. The author in the article analyzed the dynamics of the volume of sales (goods, services) of enterprises in 2010–2021 (according to the institutional and functional approach). The results of the analysis indicate that the volume of sold products (goods, services) of the industry in the total number of products sold for 2010–2021. 68% to 33.78%. Therefore, we can state the fact that the general industry provides from 30 to 40% of the total volume of sales, which confirms the priority of this industry in the development of the country's economy. The article analyzes the problems of industrial enterprises, identifies the components and their indicators necessary for a permanent assessment of the resource potential as the basis for the formation of a management system for the innovative development of industrial enterprises. Novelty. An algorithm is proposed for assessing the components of the resource potential of industrial enterprises in order to develop a management solution for the formation of a foresightinnovative enterprise management mechanism, which consists in successfully overcoming problems at domestic industrial enterprises, needs an integrated approach, including business support, technology modernization, stable energy supply, social responsibility and favorable conditions in the investment and regulatory environment. Only in such conditions it is possible to create certain positive conditions for the development of industry and ensure the sustainable growth of the country's economy. Practical value. It was determined that the solution of problems at domestic industrial enterprises of Ukraine requires comprehensive measures, including support from the state, involvement of the private sector, modernization of technologies and management, innovation, education and international cooperation. Only in such conditions it is possible to create favorable conditions for the stable development of domestic industrial enterprises.

Abstract:The article studies issues of assessing the management of the end-to-end process of creating and bringing to market knowledge-intensive products in the context of economy digital transformation at medium-sized enterprises in the relevant industries, as well as ways to improve this process in the areas of Market Analysis, Planning, R&D Work. The author’s approach and algorithm for assessing the process management implementation have been disclosed, and market experts surveyed and interviewed. Weighted average integral indicators of the efficiency of implementing the end-to-end process of creating and bringing to market such products and an effective industrial digital enterprise model achievability have been determined. With the use of the expert evaluations method, the importance ranks of the process stages have been calculated. The formulated proposals for improving the efficiency level of the end-to-end process of creating and bringing to market knowledge-intensive products are programs for improving the above-mentioned stages. They will form the basis for developing and implementing basic principles, techniques, methods, and algorithms of the process management model.

Abstract:The article reveals the importance of predictive analysis in the activities of an industrial enterprise. The information base of the study was made up by the reporting data of the industrial enterprise “Atyrau Oil Refinery Plant” (ANPZ), Republic of Kazakhstan, on the results of the implementation in 2020 of measures to implement a system of work monitoring in order to synchronize, coordinate and optimize production processes by eliminating the causes of downtime and excluding unproductive use of working time.

Abstract:The digital transformation of enterprises is one of the priority national tasks and, although sanctions restrictions have slowed down its implementation, they have not reduced its relevance. The purpose of this study was to analyze the industry-specific features of the digitalization of domestic companies, build a digital maturity rating of enterprises and organizations in various industrial sectors and areas of social activity in Russia. The methodological basis of the work is the study of statistical reporting demonstrating the use of digital technologies by domestic companies, as well as empirical data obtained from surveys of leaders of domestic and foreign firms. The study initially analyzed the statistical data describing the course of the digital transformation of domestic enterprises, and identified three metrics to assess the changes occurring under the influence of digitalization in industry and the social sphere. The following indicators were chosen as such indicators: expenditures on information and communication technologies (ICT); number of employees using ICT; range of digital technologies used. The choice of this set of parameters is connected, on the one hand, with the importance of indicators for assessing the level of digital development, and on the other hand, with the availability of detailed quantitative data characterizing the marked sections of enterprises' activities and allowing us to compare the changes taking place in each of the areas under consideration. The combination of the above criteria makes it possible to comprehensively assess the ongoing changes, given that the above figures affect their various aspects. In conclusion, an algorithm for comparing industries is proposed, based on the selected indicators and taking into account their significance (weight), and the ranking of industries is carried out. Such a comparison made it possible to form four groups that differ in the level of digital maturity of their sectors, which became the main scientific result of the work. It is shown that the top lines of the list were occupied by industries that initially focused on a high-tech base, as well as those that were able to include digital solutions in their business processes, learned how to transform information into products, into monetary results.

Abstract:The digital economy implies structural transformation in many industries, including the energy sector, without considering the state specifics of the industry, for which full-fledged digitalization can be harmful. The aim of the study is to develop a methodology and to determine the level of digitalization in the energy sector in an intercountry context. Based on the methods of comparison and analysis, the work analyses the concept of “digitalization” and defines the indicators applied to the assessment of digitalization. The developed methodology is based on the index method, which makes it possible to assess the rating of countries by the level of digitalization in the energy sector. The article discusses modern technological development and socio-economic aspects that determine theoretical research and the development of digitalization in the energy sector. The reasons and stages of digitalization in the energy sector are highlighted. Using the comparison method, the analysis of existing approaches to assessing the digital energy of enterprises is carried out. End-to-end technologies are highlighted, as well as their practical application at the enterprises of the energy sector. An analysis of the key areas for the development of digital energy is presented. Conclusions are made about the feasibility of developing microprograms and the main directions of digitalization are highlighted.

Abstract:Aim. The presented study aims to substantiate the priority directions of corporate innovative activity in modern management in the context of structural digital transformations of the global economic system, which lead to the reformatting of business models of economic entities in the long term. Tasks. To achieve the set aim, the authors comprehensively analyze theoretical and practical approaches to the forms and methods of transformation of innovation management in the modern economy, and propose recommendations on promising directions for the sustainable operation of companies that provide competitive advantages of business in a single network space. Methods. This study uses comprehensive analysis, methods of synthesis, induction, deduction, and expert research using information and communication technologies. Results. In the context of the digital economy, it is necessary to create a flexible organizational structure of companies, since the goal of the top management is not only to increase the capitalization of the business, but also to form an image of the brand using the methods of collaboration, strengthening of horizontal ties, and intellectual capital in the digital space. Modern management is focused on the intensive development of big data technologies and makes allowance for the increased role of precision work with clients, digital marketing, and artificial intelligence. Justification of the IT strategy, correct description of business processes based on cloud computing, BPM and SBPM technologies, and development of open interfaces are key factors for the sustainable operation of innovative companies. Conclusions. The evolution of management under the influence of digital technologies has led to the reformatting of the companies' life cycle. In the long term, economic entities can achieve competitive advantages by developing innovative formats and the geography of customer presence in the network space. Cloud technologies, virtual space, e-commerce, web portals, and automated systems have a great effect on the correction of priorities of predicted scenarios for the development of business structures. Modern management is characterized by an increasing amount of investment of multinational corporations in the segments of technological chains with "mass demand". Internet games, e-commerce, centers for storing and processing information and analytical databases are the priority areas for the development of management. Intellectual capital, collection, storage, and processing speed of an array of statistical data have become a prerequisite for progressive economic growth. The transformation of the organizational forms of traditional business models has influenced the evolution of the role of companies, which are becoming an integral part of the digital ecosystem, since the ownership and processing of information and analytical data make it possible to ensure competitive advantages and to obtain the effect achieved by optimizing network interaction between economic entities. Companies on the core of digital ecosystems are adjusting their long-term development strategy under the influence of integrated management effects in a single network. The reformatting of management has occurred as a result of the development of new organizational forms of value creation within the ecosystem, which has reduced the consequences of external and internal risks of the world market using flexible and innovative forms of interaction between economic entities. In the digital economy, the high adaptability of network coordination and intersectoral interaction in innovation processes based on collective intellectual property has increased the effectiveness of management.

Abstract:The digitalization of Industry 4.0 is one of the key challenges facing industrial companies. Modern technologies such as the Industrial Internet of Things, cloud computing and blockchain, big data collection and analytics, machine learning technologies, digital twins, and human-machine interaction have a wide range of effects for industrial companies and can fundamentally change the way they do business or lead to the creation of new ones. Industry 4.0 technology implementation projects are complex in nature, as they require the involvement of various specialists from a variety of professional fields. At the same time, the development of one or another area of activity within companies can be in different stages, which affects the success or failure of the implementation of certain areas of activity in the framework of projects for the introduction of Industry 4.0 technologies. Thus, within the framework of the study, the goal is to develop a method that allows you to assess the readiness of industrial enterprises to implement digital technologies. At the first stage of the study, a list of directions and aspects of digital transformation was developed. At the second stage, using interviews with experts, the degrees of significance of each of the proposed aspects were calculated. In conclusion, the assessment of digital maturity was carried out on a sample of industrial enterprises using a combination of previously obtained expert assessments and surveys within enterprises.

Abstract:The innovative vector today is a prerequisite for the development of high-tech and high-performance areas of industry, a factor in the competitiveness of enterprises in market conditions under any form of business organization. In the context of the transformation to a digital economy, the innovation process - as an incentive for technological modernization of production, increasing its efficiency and developing new competitive types of products - allows generating relatively high added value. Economic value added from the point of view of corporate finance is a key factor in increasing the market value of a company, which is a generally accepted economic efficiency criterion of the enterprise as a whole. Improving the economic and financial sustainability of an industrial enterprise is considered as a factor in ensuring the economic efficiency of the innovation process. As a criterion of economic efficiency of investments in assets aimed at improving the innovation process in enterprises, in practice, the indicator of economic value added is widely used. This indicator takes into account not only the return on investment, but also the price of attracting finance resources from various sources, which represents a financial component of efficiency that is important for "mixed" financing in the implementation of large investment projects with limited resources. However, the issue of correctly assessing the effectiveness of enterprise's management in the context of industry's digital transformation has not yet been solved by economic science. The paper reveals the features of the economic analysis of the innovative processes effectiveness in the enterprise, taking into account their specificity. The risks associated with innovative processes, the specifics of the cost structure of innovative production are considered.

Abstract:Purpose. To determine the essence of managing innovation development of a company in the context of digitalization. Methodology. In the process of studying the management of innovative development of enterprises, additional approaches to analysis were applied. Among them, the following can be highlighted: expert assessment (involving experts from various fields of economic activity), scenario modeling (developing various scenarios of strategic management of innovative development allowed for the analysis of possible consequences and outcomes of each), and systemic analysis (considering the interconnections between various aspects of innovative development of enterprises in the context of digitalization and their impact on the economy as a whole). Findings. The authors have examined the fundamentals of managing the innovative development of the enterprise, with particular emphasis on considering innovative development in a strategic context and comprehensively. It was found that enterprises do not pay due attention to the formation of a strategic set of management of innovative development and do not make appropriate forecasts. The authors proposed a strategic set that affects the innovative potential of the enterprise, changing its direction, and, if necessary, may be very time-consuming, require resources and effort to return to the previous state of management. The characteristic of the implementation of the management strategy of innovative development of the enterprise, which, unlike the existing characteristics, includes a digital process, is considered. A complex of factors that determine the further intensification of innovative development of enterprises is analyzed, namely diversification of activities, multi-channel financial support, improvement of information and analytical support, use of public-private partnership and clustering tools, development of new types of technologies and communications, implementation of risk protection methods, development of modern network communications and organizational design and others. Originality. For the first time, the work has comprehensively explored the management of innovative development of the enterprise in the context of digitization and identified new regularities in the innovative development. Practical value. The research results can be utilized for the formulation of an effective innovation policy within enterprises in the context of the digitization of the state. They can also be applied in the development of measures to support innovative activities within businesses.

Abstract:The article proposes a methodology for assessing the level of innovation development in the manufacturing industry and identifies the factors that have the greatest impact on the development of the process of creating and implementing innovations in this sector. A multivariate regression model is constructed to determine the degree of influence of various socio-economic factors on the level of innovation development in manufacturing industries, as well as to develop proposals and recommendations for its activation.

Abstract:The purpose of the work is a comprehensive analysis and key problems identification of a modern organization management in the context of the rapid implementation of artificial intelligence tools. The article discusses the fundamental issues of the term “digital management” use, as well as the features of the digital management development and formation in modern realities. The authors noted the factors that stimulate management transformation in digital companies. The authors analyze several forecasts regarding GDP increase, as well as productivity due to the use of technologies based on artificial intelligence, provide the most developed business areas in terms of the use of artificial intelligence. Along with this, the authors also list the main challenges that companies face when implementing artificial intelligence technologies. Another important issue raised in the article is human resource management and how the management process will change in the future due to the development of tools based on artificial intelligence technologies. The authors conclude that the development of the digital economy will inevitably lead to the transformation of management activity and the redistribution of the significance and importance of management functions. The conclusion is made about the advantages of using digital technologies in management and promising areas for further use.

Abstract:The development of an industrial enterprise in order to meet modern requirements should include the components of its digitalization. In Russia, the development of digitalization is supported at the state level. Meantime, limited resources require industrial enterprises to have a sound approach to choosing the direction of their development. This paper presents a methodology for choosing the direction of development of an industrial enterprise, which is based on an assessment of the level of development of that enterprise. An assessment of the level of corporate development is carried out using the method of fuzzy logic and the method of expert assessments. A nonlinear algorithm was used to find an integral indicator of the level of development of an industrial enterprise and choose a direction of development. The assessment process is digitalized and does not require special knowledge and skills of the corporate employees for its implementation. At the same time, it is possible to make adjustments to the indicators that determine the level of development of the industrial enterprise. An assessment of the level of development of an industrial enterprise is implemented in the original InfoLogicTools application in the MathCad simulation environment. Production tests of this application at existing industrial enterprises have allowed making some design changes to the application. The proposed methodology has a practical application. It allowed 3 Russian engineering plants to monitor their development. The monitoring results formed the basis for development activities. Further research is supposed to analyze and develop digitalization of the collection of information on the development of the enterprises.

Abstract:At the present stage, the development of the domestic economy is closely connected with the digitalization of the activities of industrial enterprises as the main producers of vital material values. Based on the analysis, the nature of the digital economy of industrial enterprises is substantiated and a system-structured model of its construction is proposed. Taking into account the importance of scientific and technological progress for industrial enterprises, a conceptual system-digital model of quantitative linking and balancing of scientific and technological progress management functions and their components was developed. The model combines the functions management content into an integral unit in order to obtain objective quantitative indicators from each of them and from the totality of their actions. The model of level relations of divisions of the industrial enterprises participating in their scientific and technical activity is developed. It is focused on the transition from disparate actions of business units to actions that combine them on a systematic basis, thereby eliminating the existing disorder in their interaction in response to the request of the digital economy to ensure the accuracy of the results obtained from them. Assigning the most important place to the assessment of the economic efficiency of scientific and technical activities and their developments, and taking into account the fact that labor costs have a great influence on its formation, the need to streamline their regulatory framework, which allows on a parity basis to provide time standards for the implementation of individual stages of the development of scientific and technical products, is shown. The recommendations and suggestions presented in the article are aimed at high-quality training and active inclusion of industrial enterprises and their scientific and technical potential in the digital economy and at their effective functioning in its conditions as the most important strategic factor in the development of the economic system.

Abstract:Industry 4.0, which is aimed at the global introduction of cyber-physical systems into industry, has determined further development pathways for cluster systems; one of the pathways is digitalization of business processes, which enables cutting costs significantly, manufacturing a high-tech innovative product, reducing time for communication between all the participants in the industrial cluster, revealing new sources for project funding, simplifying human work via relevant software and robotics adopted in the industry. All these factors become more urgent in the framework of functioning high-tech industrial clusters, which have not evolved only from the protocluster to the innovative active industrial cluster, but overtook their rivals by using these innovative available tools of the digital economy. In this paper the authors have presented a range of the most applicable methods to measure the digital potential of the industrial cluster (in regard to quantity, quality and mixed research methods); they have reviewed the literature that reveal the concept "innovative potential" of an industry enterprise and a cluster; the authors have considered 13 stages of digital potential measurement for the industrial cluster, including the following: identification of measurement parameters, classification of parameters by 6 subpotentials, expert evaluation of parameters, tabulation of the obtained expert survey results, selection of most significant parameters, final preparation of groups of factors, determination of a scale and units of measure for every selected factor to evaluate, collection of information from accessible sources, reduction of the received data to a unified measurement system, calculation of an integral index based on the developed scales, final stage includes guideline development. On the basis of the presented stages the authors worked out a relevant measurement algorithm, novelty and peculiarity of which imply allowance for indicators that characterize cluster digitalization (i.e. digital potential) when calculating a final integral value.

Abstract:The article analyzes the definition of innovative development of industrial enterprises, pays a special role in the formation of an enterprise development strategy, as well as the need to use an integrated approach in this matter. In addition, the article analyzes an integrated approach to managing innovative development and provides recommendations for its implementation. The process approach is becoming more common. An algorithm for developing a strategy to support the development of innovative activities among business entities is presented, adapted to modern conditions. The key directions and measures for stimulating innovation activity in general are outlined. The feasibility of creating a body responsible for the innovative development of an industrial enterprise is described. In addition, project management plays a key role in managing innovative development. The article discusses different points of view on the concept of innovation. The goals and objectives of innovative management are defined, its orientation towards changes in the field of planning, organization, management, control and analysis of innovative processes at the enterprise in strategic and operational terms is shown. Particular attention is paid to the practical experience of organizing innovative activities at the Zhukovsky Process Equipment Plant. Recommendations are given to strengthen the role of labor motivation in enhancing innovation activity at an enterprise based on the use of the developed scale of material incentives for authors of innovative projects; incentive payment periods have been determined. It is proposed to take into account the contribution of each innovative division to the increase in profit received through the introduction of an innovative product. In modern times, economic development processes in the international world have a serious impact on the economy of Azerbaijan. This influence is clearly manifested in socio-economic development, democratization of society, improvement of social and management processes. As the main influencing factor among development processes, innovative factors of scientific and technological progress are of particular importance. Thus, innovation and scientific and technological progress are the leading force, determining the main trends in the development of humanity, society, social and economic processes. In the modern and future development of our country, this is closely related to the organization and systematic improvement of innovation activities and management of innovation processes in accordance with modern requirements in ensuring continuous socio-economic growth. Thus, it is important to determine promising directions for the development of the country, using the results and intentions of innovation activities and innovative processes in public, economic and social life, as well as to reveal intellectual potential, improve the management system, build an innovative economy and ensure the production of competitive, knowledge-intensive products shows a positive effect . Taking into account all these factors we have listed, taking as a basis the need to develop innovative activity in the Republic of Azerbaijan, a number of measures are being implemented to implement it in a sustainable manner. In modern economic activity, the role of new technologies in response to rapidly changing demand, the creation of new products in accordance with international standards, the use of new technologies, and innovative development is increasing even more. The efficiency of economic processes and the requirements for ensuring the sustainability of the economic system as a whole determine the need for innovation in regulated intensive development. Otherwise, it becomes difficult not only to eliminate, but even to mitigate the social and environmental deficits of a growth economy based on economic interests. In short, innovativeness and innovative activity should be considered as a necessary part of sustainable development, and the role of science in all spheres of human life should increase. For an industrial company, innovative management seems to be the most effective means in comparison with traditional methods in competition. Innovations contribute to the fact that an industrial company switches to a special type of development, and this leads to the improvement of the competitiveness of technologies that are introduced into production, etc. Thus, industrial companies striving for leadership in competition should constantly search for and implement innovations. An innovation activity is a joint activity of a large number of participants who jointly take part in the innovation process, the purpose of which is the creation and implementation of innovation. It should be noted that in the management of innovative activities there are certain differences from traditional or routine activities. This is primarily due to the availability of research and design work. A manager who manages a scientific team or a team of highly professional developers must meet specific requirements. This is due not only to the nature of the scientific work being carried out, but also to the socio-psychological characteristics of scientific teams, as well as to the importance of taking into account the personal component as a result of scientific work, to the unpredictability of these results, etc. Managers responsible for the innovative activities of an industrial enterprise must have a comprehensive education, master the subject area of innovation, and be able to find solutions to technical and production issues, taking into account economic feasibility and economic benefit.
