Abstract:The early diagnosis of myocardial infarction can significantly improve the survival rate in emergency treatment, which is mainly implemented by the immunoassay for myocardial infarction biomarkers such as cardiac troponins in blood. In this work, a disposable optofluidic microtubule whispering gallery mode (WGM) immunosensor for label-free cardiac troponin I-C (cTnI-C) complex detection has been proposed and demonstrated with active interrogation enhancement. The disposable microtubule is simply fabricated by a silica capillary with pressurized tapering technology for thin-wall, and the cTnI antibodies are immobilized on the inner wall surface of the microtubule through the self-adherent polydopamine substrate. By configuring the two coupling microfibers, the double-fiber-coupled microtubule cavity can serve as a tunable filter for the mutual-coupled polarimetric fiber ring laser (FRL), whose output laser wavelength is determined by the cTnI-C concentration in the optofluidic microtubule with inherent microfluidic channel. Due to the cyclic-cumulative gain of the FRL, the characteristic resonant peak of optical sensing signal is enhanced in the spectral width compression and the optical signal-to-noise ratio improvement, and therefore the optical immunosensor for cTnI-C can be achieved by tracking the output laser wavelength of the FRL conveniently. The dynamic binding and unbinding process of cTnI-C antigen–antibody is illustrated by monitoring the lasing peak wavelength continuously. Our all-fiber immunosensor demonstrated here has the advantages of fast label-free detection, real-time monitor, high sensitivity and disposable sensing element, which can be an innovative detecting tool in early diagnosis of myocardial infarction.

Abstract:Cardiac troponin I (cTnI) plays an important role in emergency diagnosis of cardiovascular diseases, which exists predominately in the form of cardiac troponin I–C (cTnI-C) complex. We proposed a fiber-integrated optofluidic chip immunosensor with time-delay-dispersion based microwave photonic analyzer (MPA) for cTnI-C detection. The whispering gallery mode (WGM) fiber probe was fabricated by embedding a polydopamine functionalized hollow glass microsphere (HGMS) into the etched capillary-fiber structure, and the WGMs could be excited through the efficient coupling between the thin-wall capillary and the HGMS. The reflective WGM optofluidic chip functioned as a wavelength tuner to construct fiber ring laser cavity, whose laser output wavelength was cTnI-C concentration-dependent. The tiny wavelength variation of sensing laser was converted into a radio-frequency (RF) response, which was retrieved by measuring the change of RF-domain free spectrum range (FSR) in time-delay-dispersion based MPA, and the quantitative detection of cTnI-C complex can be achieved with high resolution. Experimental results show that this immunosensor had a limit of detection (LOD) of 0.59 ng/mL, and a detection resolution of 1.2 fg/mL. The relative resolving power was 102–104-fold higher than that of others optical fiber cTnI biosensors. The proposed fiber-integrated optofluidic chip provides an innovative lab-on-chip diagnostic tool for myocardial damage.

Abstract:This work developed an optofluidic immunochip that uses whispering gallery mode with fiber laser enhancement, for the rapid detection of a key biomarker cardiac troponin I for acute myocardial infarction (AMI). The immunochip adopted an innovative design, using perforated hollow glass microspheres (HGMS) as carriers, with antibodies immobilized on the inner surface of the HGMS, thereby achieving ultra-low sample consumption. The performance of the immunochip was improved by fiber laser, including spectral width compression to 0.019 nm, optical signal-to-noise ratio amplification to 63.17 dB, and an enhancement in the limit of detection to 5 pg/mL. Moreover, this immunochip can provide results within 15 min, making it highly suitable for early AMI risk management. Compared to the standard electrochemiluminescence detection method, although some differences exist in the results of the immunochip due to the principle of detection and differences in antibody affinity , its positive reference value can be calculated as 0.0754 ng/mL, with a successful recognition rate of 88% for positive patients. The immunosensor is integrated on a polydimethylsiloxane substrate, with a compact size suitable for use in point-of-care devices and AMI self-screening, as well as rapid disease screening and microanalysis of various biomarkers, offering new possibilities for applications in these fields.

Abstract:An immunosensing biochip for simultaneous detection of three biomarkers related to acute myocardial infarction (AMI) was developed based on anionic soybean peroxidase (SBP) functionalized nanoprobe and chemiluminescent imaging. The nanoprobes (Ab2-SiO2-SBP) were fabricated by co-immobilization of SBP and one of the detection polyclonal antibodies, anti-cardiac troponin I antigen (anti-cTnI), anti-creatine kinase-MB (anti-CK-MB) and anti-myoglobin (anti-Myo), on the silica nanoparticle surface. The detection sensitivity was enhanced since the large surface area of silica carriers increased the loading of SBP for per sandwiched immunoreaction. The immunosensing biochip designed as 3 × 8 wells array was constructed by simultaneously immobilizing three capture monoclonal antibodies on the same one microtiter well with 2 × 3 active spots. In the presence of target protein, the nanoprobes will be attached onto the spots with high specificity through the sandwiched immunoreactions, which triggered the chemiluminescence (CL) signals on each sensing site of the microtiter plates and allowed to CL imaging of three biomarkers in one well at the same time. Therefore, the proposed biochip was a promising convenient strategy for simultaneous detection of cTnI, CK-MB and Myo, which showed potential application for multianalyte determination in clinical diagnostics.

Abstract:Rapid and automated detection of acute myocardial infarction (AMI) at its developing stage is very important due to its high mortality rate. To quantitatively diagnose AMI, Myo, CK-MB, and cTnI are chosen as three biomarkers, which are usually detected through an immunosorbent assay, such as the enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay. However, the approach poses many drawbacks, such as long detection time, the cumbersome process, the need for professionals, and the difficulty of realizing automatic operation. Here, a multichannel digital microfluidic (DMF) thermal control chip integrated with a sandwich-based immunoassay strategy is proposed for the automated, rapid, and sensitive detection of AMI biomarkers. A miniaturized temperature control module is integrated on the back of the DMF chip, meeting the temperature requirement for the immunoassay. With this DMF thermal control chip, sample and reagent consumption are reduced to several microliters, significantly alleviating reagent consumption and sample dependence, and the automated and multichannel detection of biomarkers can be achieved. In this work, the simultaneously noninvasive detection of the human serum sample containing the three biomarkers of AMI is also achieved within 30 min, which improves the diagnostic accuracy of AMI. Due to the features of automation and miniaturization, the multichannel immunosensor can be used in community hospitals to increase the speed of diagnosis of patients with various acute diseases.

Abstract:A reliable lateral flow immunoassay (LFIA) based on a facile one-step synthesis of single microspheres in combining with immunochromatography technique was developed to establish a new point-of-care test (POCT) for the rapid and early detection of cardiac troponin I (cTnI), a kind of cardiac specific biomarker for acute myocardial infarction (AMI). The double layered microspheres with clear core-shell structures were produced using soap-free emulsion polymerization method with inexpensive compounds (styrene and acrylic acid). The synthetic process was simple, rapid and easy to control due to one-step synthesis without any complicated procedures. The microspheres are nanostructure with high surface area, which have numerous carboxyl groups on the out layer, resulting in high-efficiency coupling between the carrier and antibody via amide bond. Meanwhile, the red fluorescent dye, Nile-red (NR), was wrapped inside the microspheres to improve its stability, as well to reduce the background noise, because of its higher emission wavelength than interference from real plasma samples. The core-shell structures provided different functional areas to separate antibody and dyes, so the immunoassay has highly sensitive, wide working curves in the range of 0⁻40 ng/mL, low limits of detection (LOD) at 0.016 ng/mL, and limits of quantification (LOQ) at 0.087 ng/mL with coefficient of variations (CV) of 10%. This strategy suggested an outstanding platform for LFIA, with good reproducibility and stability to straightforwardly analyze the plasma samples without washing steps, thereby reducing the operating procedures for non-professionals and promoting detection efficiency. The whole detection process can be completed in less than 15 min. This novel immunoassay offers a reliable and favorable analytical result by detecting the real samples, indicating that it holds great potential as a new alternative for biomolecule detection in complex samples, for the early detection of cardiac specific biomarkers.

Abstract:The measurement of cardiac troponin‐I (cTnI) is widely used for diagnosing acute myocardial infarction (AMI) diseases because of its myocardial specificity. Packaged microbubble resonators with thin wall are utilized for label‐free and specific detection of cTnI based on whispering gallery mode (WGM). This packaged structure can provide a good protection for the biosensor, improve the anti‐interference ability of the sensor and reduce the system noise. The theoretical detection limit of the biosensors for cTnI in phosphate buffer saline (PBS) is 0.4 ag mL‐1 (0.02 aM). Furthermore, we demonstrated that the biosensors can be used to detect cTnI molecules in simulated serum and the theoretical detection limit is also 0.4 ag mL‐1 (0.02 aM). These results are much far below the clinical cut‐off value and show a huge application potential for the detection of cardiac biomarkers of AMI. This article is protected by copyright. Abstract:Acute myocardial infarction (AMI) is a life-threatening disease with a short course and a high mortality rate. However, it is still a great challenge to achieve the on-site diagnosis of this disease within minutes, meaning there is an urgent need to develop an efficient technology for realizing the rapid diagnosis and early warning of AMI in clinical emergencies. In this study, an ultrasensitive electrochemical aptasensor based on an extended-gate ion-sensitive field-effect transistor (EGISFET) was designed to achieve the quantitative assay of cardiac troponin I (cTnI), which is a highly sensitive and specific biomarker of AMI, within only 5 min. The EGISFET exhibits extremely high detection sensitivity due to its separated structure with a large sensing area and the surface-modified Prussian blue-gold nanoparticles (PB-AuNPs) composite, which serves as a signal magnifier and DNA loading platform for good electrocatalytic ability with a large specific area. Additionally, a target-induced strand-release strategy is proposed to shorten the recognition time of cTnI using a particular DNA strand. Under optimal conditions, the as-prepared aptasensor exhibits a wide linear range of 1-1000 pg/mL, an ultralow detection limit of 0.3 pg/mL, and reliable detection results in real serum samples. It is highly anticipated that this EGISFET-based aptasensor will have broad applications in the early warning and rapid diagnosis of AMI and other acute diseases in emergency treatment.

Abstract:Here, a sandwich-type electrochemical immunosensor was constructed to detect cardiac troponin I (cTnI) via asymmetric bowl-shaped PdAgFe mesoporous nanospheres (PdAgFe ABMS) as a signal amplification label and core-shell cubic Au/Co-LDH@ZIF-67 as a substrate material. PdAgFe ABMS prepared by dual-template directional anisotropic island growth method has abundant mesoporous channels to accelerate molecular mass transfer in solution. In particular, the asymmetric bowl-like structure allows more active sites to be exposed, which improves the utilization of atoms to stabilize and high current response signals. The synergistic effect between PdAgFe increased the activation energy of the catalytic reaction and further amplified the current signal. In addition, the biosensing interface based on Au/Co-LDH@ZIF-67 not only exhibits a high electron transfer rate, but also can capture more bioactive molecules. Under optimal conditions, the constructed immunosensor was detected to exhibit a low limit of detection (LOD, 4.47 fg/mL) and a wide detection range (10 fg/mL - 100 ng/mL). This work provides an accurate and convenient scheme for the clinical detection of cTnI.

Abstract:A simple, dual-modular aptasensor for accurate determination of cardiac troponin I (cTnI), a sensitive biomarker of acute myocardial infarction, is reported. It has the parallel output of electrochemiluminescence (ECL) and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) based on target-gated transportation of signal probes (luminol/H2O2 or Fe(CN)63–/4–). The sensing capacity is originated from the amino-functionalized mouth margin of the nanochannels in a vertically oriented mesoporous silica film, which was in situ-grown on indium tin oxide-coated glass. With the linkage of glutaraldehyde to couple the aptamer as a trapper, it brings in the high specific target-gated response toward cTnI as decreased ECL or increased EIS. The concentration of cTnI is measurable by the ECL response within a wide linear range from 0.05 pg mL–1 to 10 ng mL–1, as well as the EIS response for a linear range between 0.05 pg mL–1 and 1 ng mL–1. Significantly, the self-verification of these two data from ECL and EIS validated each other with a satisfactory linear correlation (R2 = 0.999), thereby realizing the more reliable and accurate quantification to avoid false results. Abstract:The high electron mobility transistor (HEMT)-based biosensors are highly competitive in the ultimate application of portable and point-of-care testing. Herein, we have demonstrated highly sensitive and real-time detection of cardiac troponin I (cTnI), a biomarker for the diagnosis of acute myocardial infarction (AMI) using AlGaAs/GaAs HEMT-based biosensors. The device has achieved a lower detection limit of 1 pg/ml in the buffer solution and less than 30 s response time, which demonstrated significant promise in the early diagnosis and screening of AMI. In addition, our results are consistent with the enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay according to the AMI patient’s blood test results. Furthermore, by comparing the two HEMT structures, we also calculated the equilibrium dissociation constant (KD) of the cTnI and cTnI antibody and analyzed the sensing mechanism. The results show that this method is very promising for early diagnosis of AMI.
Microcavity-based SERS chip for ultrasensitive immune detection of cardiac biomarkers

Abstract:The detection of cardiac markers with high sensitivity and specificity is exceedingly essential for the early diagnosis and warning of cardiovascular disease. In this work, we developed a microcavity-based sandwich immune chip to realize the ultrasensitive detection of cardiac troponin I (cTnI) and creatine kinase isoenzyme MB (CK-MB) by surface-enhanced Raman spectroscopy (SERS) method. Herein, polystyrene microspheres modified with gold nanoparticles (Au NPs) were fixed on the substrate via polydopamine, which was used as an immune capture chip. 5,5′-Dithio bis-(2-nitrobenzoic acid) (DTNB) and 4-mercaptobenzoic acid (4MBA) labelled Au NPs served as immune signal probes for cTnI and CK-MB, respectively. Light confinement effect of polystyrene (PS) microcavities and localized surface plasmon resonance (LSPR) near the Au NPs synergistically strengthened the electromagnetic field and promoted the interaction between light and matter, which enhanced SERS performance with an enhancement factor of 1.95×1012 for SERS sensing. The immunoassay results demonstrated the sensitive quantitative detection with the limit of detection (LOD) of 3.16 pg/mL and 4.27 pg/mL for cTnI and CK-MB, separately. The method also had good specificity, reproducibility and stability. It could be expected that our proposed microcavity-based SERS chip immunoassay technique would be considered as an effective diagnostic tool for ultrasensitive detection of cardiac biomarkers.

Abstract:A rapid detection approach based on quench-release for cardiac troponin I (cTnI), a biomarker of myocardial infarction, was developed. To ensure detection accuracy, a rabbit monoclonal antibody, RabMG4C80A (G4), that binds specifically to cTnI was used. The antigen-binding fragment of G4 was prepared and labeled with fluorescent dyes to produce a fluorescent immunosensor G4 Q-body that can be used for cTnI detection. Using this method, an assay could be completed in as little as 5 min, enabling rapid diagnosis following myocardial infarction and providing a timely basis for patient treatment. A dose–response curve of the G4 Q-body for cTnI detection was obtained from the fluorescence spectra, from which the concentration of cTnI in the sample was determined. The limits of detection and concentration for 50% of maximal effect of the assay were found to be below 10 pM and 3.8 nM, respectively, of cTnI. The optimal detection range was 10 pM–1000 nM. After the occurrence of acute myocardial infarction, the cTnI concentration rose to 2 nM in 1 h and persisted for 6–8 days at around 20 nM; the detection range of the assay therefore covered the clinically relevant range of cTnI during myocardial infarction. This is the first Q-body based on rabbit monoclonal antibodies, and it is expected to contribute to the rapid diagnosis and precise treatment of myocardial infarction.

Abstract:Human cardiac troponin I (cTnl) is a specific protein of cardiac muscle. The detection of the content of cTnl in human serum shows high specificity for diagnosing acute myocardial infarction. For preparation of diagnostic reagents of myocardial infarction, cTnl is isolated directly from human cardiac muscle by skeletal TnC-sepharose 4B affinity chromatographic column. The molecular weight and the amino acid composition of isolated cTnl is consistent with reference. A novel optical biosensor based on simultaneous multiwave-length detected surface plasmon resonance (SPR) has been developed for monitoring cTnl. The sensor is designed on the basis of fixing angle of incidence and measuring the reflected intensities in the wavelength range of 400-800 nm. The SPR spectra are shown in terms of reflected light intensity verus wavelength of incident light. The intensity of the reflected light is the minimum at the resonant wavelength. Molecular self-assembling in solution is used to form the sensing membrane on the gold substrate. The processes of sensing monolayer formation were studied in real time through observing the change of resonant wavelength. The modified surface was used as a model immunosensor and successfully detected cTnl. cTnC was detected in the concentration range from 0.143 ~ 50 mug/mL. Under optimum experimental conditions, the sensor has a good repeatability, reversibility and selectivity.

Abstract:Acute myocardial infarction (AMI) causes significant mortality and morbidity. The determination of multiple AMI biomarkers is very important for the timely diagnosis of AMI. In this work, simultaneous determination of three AMI biomarkers were achieved by virtue of a three-dimensional (3D) microfluidic paper-analytical device (μPAD) with temporally resolved chemiluminescence (CL) emissions for the first time. A dual-signal amplification strategy was introduced including by employing primary antibody functionalized gold nanoparticles (Ab1-GNPs) immobilized on the detection zone as amplified capture probes, and Co(II) catalyst, secondary antibody, luminol multifunctionalized gold nanoparticles (Co(II)-Ab2-luminol-GNPs) with excellent CL activity as amplified signal probes. CL immunoreactions were performed at three detection zone of the fabricated 3D μPAD by assembling Ab1-GNPs, antigen, and Co(II)-Ab2-luminol-GNPs to form sandwich-type immunocomplexes. Auto separated CL signals with temporal resolution were obtained by time delayed transport of H2O2 to different detection zones for multiplexed analysis. The CL signal obtained by using Co(II)-Ab2-luminol-GNPs as signal probe (10576 a.u.) were about 20-fold higher than that by using conventional horseradish peroxidase labeled antibody modified luminol-GNPs as signal probe (531 a.u.). Finally, three AMI biomarkers including heart-type fatty acid-binding protein (H-FABP), cardiac troponin I (cTnI) and copeptin were quantitatively analyzed in one CL detection run by reading the CL intensity of the obtained three CL emission peaks. The detection range were ultra-wide ranged from 0.1 pg/mL to 1 μg/mL, 0.5 pg/mL to 1 μg/mL and 1 pg/mL to 1 mg/mL with the detection limits down to 0.06 pg/mL, 0.3 pg/mL and 0.4 pg/mL for H-FABP, cTnI and copeptin detection, respectively. The developed μPAD based immunoassay performing multiplexed analysis ability, high sensitivity, ultra-wide dynamic range, favorable selectivity, accessible accuracy and reproducibility, have great application potential for the early diagnosis of AMI.

Abstract:A low‐cost device‐free portable immunobiosensing platform is designed for flexible monitoring of immediate myocardial infarction through CuS‐Pt nanofragments with high photothermal conversion efficiency. The thermo‐chemically kinetically enhanced CuS‐Pt reactor is released by a one‐step chemical treatment and transferred to a closed gas generator under near‐infrared laser illustration. Early intervention in acute myocardial infarction can minimize myocardial damage and improve patient survival. Herein, a low‐cost device‐free portable immunobiosensing platform for flexible monitoring of immediate myocardial infarction is reported. CuS‐Pt nanofragments (CuS‐Pt NFs) with high photothermal conversion efficiency (≈26.41%) are synthesized by liquid‐phase polarity‐mediated synthesis. The CuS NFs are loaded in situ with platinum (Pt) nanoreactors using a solvothermal reduction strategy, which is employed to enhance the efficiency of gas production. The resulting CuS‐Pt nanocatalysts are encapsulated within liposomes for signal cascade amplification. Specifically, cardiac troponin I (cTn I), a target biomarker in serum, is captured on pre‐modified microtiter plates and formed into a classical sandwich model. The thermo‐chemically kinetically enhanced CuS‐Pt reactor is released through a one‐step chemical treatment and transferred to a closed gas generator. Under the excitation of a near‐infrared laser emitter, the internal pressure in the gas generator device increases with time and drives the carbon quantum dot solution in the connected hose. The moving distance shows a correlation with the target concentration. This work provides a new implementation for the development of low‐cost, efficient pressure immunosensors without the requirement of a readout device.

Abstract:Point-of-care testing methods currently utilize rapid, portable, inexpensive, and multiplexed on-site detection. Microfluidic chips have become a very promising platform with broad development prospects due to their breakthrough improvement in miniaturization and integration. However, the conventional microfluidic chips still have disadvantages, such as difficulty in fabrication processing, long production time and high cost, which hinder its applications in the fields of POCT and in vitro diagnostics. In this study, a capillary-based microfluidic chip with the characteristics of low cost and easy fabrication was developed for the rapid detection of acute myocardial infarction (AMI). Several short capillaries, which were already conjugated with the capture antibodies respectively, were connected by peristaltic pump tubes and then formed the working capillary. Two working capillaries were encapsulated in the plastic shell and ready for the immunoassay. Multiplex detection of Myoglobin (Myo), cardiac troponin I (cTnI) and creatine kinase-MB (CK-MB) were chosen to demonstrate the feasibility and analytical performance of the microfluidic chip, which requires rapid and accurate detection during diagnosis and therapy for AMI. The capillary-based microfluidic chip required tens of minutes to prepared, and its cost was less than $1. The limit of detection (LOD) was 0.5 ng/mL for Myo, 0.1 ng/mL for cTnI and 0.5 ng/mL for CK-MB respectively. The capillary-based microfluidic chips with easy fabrication and low cost hold promise for the portable and low-cost detection of target biomarkers.

Abstract:Based on the necessity and urgency of cardiac troponin I (cTnI) detection for the diagnosis of myocardial infarction, a novel unlabeled photoelectrochemical (PEC) immunosensor has been developed to detect cTnI rapidly and sensitively. Silicon nanowire arrays (SiNWs) were prepared via metal-assisted chemical etching. To improve the stability and sensitivity towards cTnI sensing, the surface of silicon nanowire arrays were coated with polydopamine by an in situ growth method. PDA was uniformly modified on the nanowire surface to provide a reliable active site for antibody binding. The linear dynamic range of the cTnI detection method was 0.005-10 ng mL(-1), and the detection limit was 1.47 pg mL(-1). The designed PEC immunosensor exhibited good sensitivity, selectivity, stability and reproducibility. The electrode enabled label-free detection and provided a new route to realize point-of-care testing of cTnI.
A Label-Free Electrochemical Aptamer Sensor for Sensitive Detection of Cardiac Troponin I Based on AuNPs/PB/PS/GCE

Abstract:Cardiac troponin I (cTnI) monitoring is of great value in the clinical diagnosis of acute myocardial infarction (AMI). In this paper, a highly sensitive electrochemical aptamer sensor using polystyrene (PS) microspheres as the electrode substrate material in combination with Prussian blue (PB) and gold nanoparticles (AuNPs) was demonstrated for the sensitive and label-free determination of cTnI. PS microspheres were synthesized by emulsion polymerization and then dropped onto the glassy carbon electrode (GCE); PB and AuNPs were electrodeposited on the electrode in corresponding electrolyte solutions step by step. The PS microsphere substrate provided a large surface area for the loading mass of the biological affinity aptamers, while the PB layer improved the electrical conductivity of the modified electrode, and the electroactive AuNPs exhibited excellent catalytic performance for the subsequent electrochemical measurements. In view of the above mentioned AuNPs/PB/PS/GCE sensing platform, the fabricated label-free electrochemical aptamer sensor exhibited a wide detection range of 10 fg/mL~1.0 μg/mL and a low detection limit of 2.03 fg/mL under the optimal conditions. Furthermore, this biosensor provided an effective detection platform for the analysis of cTnI in serum samples. The introduction of this sensitive electrochemical aptamer sensor provides a reference for clinically sensitive detection of cTnI.

Abstract:Acute myocardial infarction (AMI) is one of the top contributors to global disease mortality. AMI biomarkers, such as cardiac troponin I (cTnI), are often detected with enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) that suffers from several well-known drawbacks such as poor stability and slow and cumbersome operation. Therefore, it is necessary to develop a new analytical technique that can rapidly analyse and detect cTnI for early screening of AMI. In this work, a nanoporous electrochemical aptamer-based (E-AB) sensor for rapid and sensitivite detect of cTnI was designed. Firstly, the aptamer was truncated, and then molecular docking simulation and circular dichroism (CD) were used to screen for aptamers with significant conformational changes when binding to the target, in order to enhance the sensitivity of E-AB sensors. Subsequently, nanoporous electrodes with active area 20 times higher than that of smooth electrodes were fabricated by electrochemical alloying/dealloying, which enabled E-AB sensors to obtain higher signal-to-noise ratios, providing favorable assurance for the detection results. Under optimal conditions, E-AB sensors could specifically detect cTnI in serum and blood with a detection limit of 1 pg/mL. At the same time, the sensor and enzyme-linked immunoassay (ELISA) had identical detection results when measuring target levels from real clinical samples. Furthermore, the sensor exhibited good reproducibility, stability, providing a simple and low-cost method for detecting cTnI, which is expected to help early AMI patients obtain accurate diagnosis.
