Abstract:The etiology of hypercalcemia was investigated in a patient with primary isolated non-Hodgkin's lymphoma of the heart. There was no evidence of bone involvement, and parathyroid hormone and calciterol levels were suppressed. Plasma parathyroid-hormone-related protein (PTHrP 1-86) detected by immunoradiometric assay was increased (15 pmol/l compared with < 0.3 pmol/l in a control). We demonstrated that PTHrP was the humoral mediator of severe hypercalcemia in our patient.
Effects of in-office bleaching agent combined with different desensitizing agents on enamel

Abstract:OBJECTIVE: To analyze color change, microhardness and chemical composition of enamel bleached with in-office bleaching agent with different desensitizing application protocols.MATERIALS AND METHODS: One hundred and seventeen polished anterior human enamel surfaces were obtained and randomly divided into nine groups (n = 13). After recording initial color, microhardness and chemical composition, the bleaching treatments were performed as G1: Signal Professional White Now POWDER&LIQUID FAST 38% Hydrogen peroxide(S); G2: S+Flor Opal/0.5% fluoride ion(F); G3: S+GC Tooth Mousse/Casein Phosphopeptide-Amorphous Calcium Phosphate (CPP-ACP) paste(TM); G4: S+UltraEZ/3% potassium nitrate&0.11% fluoride(U); G5: S+Signal Professional SENSITIVE PHASE 1/30% Nano-Hydroxyapatite (n-HAP) suspension(SP); G6: S-F mixture; G7: S-TM mixture; G8: S-U mixture; G9: S-SP mixture. Color, microhardness and chemical composition measurements were repeated after 1 and 14 days. The percentage of microhardness loss (PML) was calculated 1 and 14 days after bleaching. Data were analyzed with ANOVA, Welch ANOVA, Tukey and Dunnett T3 tests (p<0.05).RESULTS: Color change was observed in all groups. The highest ΔE was observed at G7 after 1 day, and ΔE at G8 was the highest after 14 days (p<0.05). A decrease in microhardness was observed in all groups except G6 and G7 after 1 day. The microhardness of all groups increased after 14 days in comparison with 1 day after bleaching (p>0.05). PML was observed in all groups except G6 and G7 after bleaching and none of the groups showed PML after 14 days. No significant changes were observed after bleaching at Ca and P levels and Ca/P ratios at 1 or 14 days after bleaching (p>0.05). F mass increased only in G2 and G6, 1 day after bleaching (p<0.05).CONCLUSIONS: The use of desensitizing agents containing fluoride, CPP-ACP, potassium nitrate or n-HAP after in-office bleaching or mixed in bleaching agent did not inhibit the bleaching effect. However, they all recovered microhardness of enamel 14 days after in-office bleaching.

Abstract:Background: Due to controversial results in relation to the influence of desensitizing agents on sensitivity during bleaching, the present study evaluated the degree of tooth bleaching sensitivity, color change, and patient acceptability of desensitizing agents containing potassium nitrate/sodium fluoride (PNF) or nanostructured calcium phosphate (N) associated with in-office bleaching with 35% hydrogen peroxide (HP). Materials and methods: Seventy-five patients were randomly distributed into three groups (n = 25): 1) Group W - in-office bleaching (Whiteness HP Maxx - three sessions of 45 min); 2) Group WD - associated with PNF desensitizing gel (Desensibilize KF 2%) applied for 10 min before each session; 3) Group WDN - associated with N desensitizing paste (Desensibilize Nano P) applied after bleaching for 5 min. The degree of sensitivity and patient acceptability of the desensitizing treatments were evaluated using a visual analog scale. Color change evaluations were made over different time intervals. Results: The three groups showed no significant difference in sensitivity between the time intervals throughout the evaluation, except for the one of 24 h after the second bleaching session, in which group WD showed lower bleaching sensitivity than group W (P < 0.05; Kruskal-Wallis and Dunn tests). The use of PNF gel and N paste did not interfere with the color change during dental bleaching. Conclusions: Although the use of desensitizing agents during bleaching did not interfere with the color change during dental bleaching, it was shown that these agents were not effective in the treatment of tooth bleaching sensitivity, despite being acceptable to the patients.
Effectiveness of desensitizing toothpastes in reducing tooth sensitivity after tooth bleaching: a systematic review

Abstract:Objective: To evaluate the effectiveness of desensitizing toothpastes in reducing post-bleaching tooth sensitivity. Materials and methods: A systematic review of randomized clinical trials was conducted based on the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses checklist. Electronic searches were conducted in the PubMed/MEDLINE, Scopus, Web of Science, The Cochrane Library and Embase databases, using the following terms: (dentifrices OR toothpaste) AND (sensitive OR sensitivity OR dental sensitivity) AND (dental bleaching OR tooth bleaching OR dental whitening OR tooth whitening). Results: Five studies involving 387 individuals undergoing in-office or at-home teeth bleaching were reviewed. Desensitizing toothpastes reduced sensitivity effectively after home bleaching with 22% carbamide peroxide and single-session in-office bleaching with 35% hydrogen peroxide. However, they were ineffective for home bleaching with 16% carbamide peroxide and in-office bleaching across two sessions with 35% or 38% hydrogen peroxide. Conclusion: Desensitizing toothpastes are effective for home bleaching with high concentration carbamide peroxide and single-session in-office bleaching with highly concentrated hydrogen peroxide, but ineffective for home bleaching with low concentration carbamide peroxide and two-session in-office bleaching with concentrated hydrogen peroxide.
Brushing with a potassium nitrate dentifrice to reduce bleaching sensitivity

Abstract:Objective: This research systematically evaluated the use of a clinically proven desensitizing dentifrice prior to a bleaching regimen in a randomized, multi-center, parallel group, open label clinical study following Good Clinical Practice guidelines. Methodology: Fourteen dental offices in West Palm Beach, Florida participated in the study during April/May 2004. Fourteen days prior to bleaching, impressions and oral soft tissue assessments were performed, and patients were randomized to either a KNO3 plus fluoride dentifrice (Sensodyne Fresh Mint), or a standard fluoride dentifrice (Crest Regular), brushing 2x per day. On Day 14, patients returned to the dental office for their custom tray and the dispensation of a bleaching kit (Day White Excel 3; 9.5% hydrogen peroxide and KNO3). This was used daily according to the manufacturer's instructions for 30 minutes, and normal oral hygiene continued to be performed using the assigned toothbrush and dentifrice, brushing 2x per day. At the end of each bleaching day, patients answered diary questions about the occurrence and intensity of sensitivity. At the conclusion of the 14-day bleaching period (Day 28), patients returned to their dental office for re-examination, returning all products and diaries. Within seven days of completing the study, patients answered a telephone patient satisfaction survey. Results: A total of 202 patients in fourteen (14) dental offices completed all aspects of the study and were used for the analysis. The professionally dispensed bleaching product provided an improvement of approximately 4.4 Vita shades, regardless of whether it was used with the KNO3 plus fluoride (Sensodyne) or a standard fluoride (Crest) dentifrice. The patient perception of increased sensitivity caused by the bleaching treatment was low but measurable. In the first week of the bleaching, significantly more patients using the KNO3 plus fluoride dentifrice were free from sensitivity (58%) than the standard fluoride dentifrice group (42%). During the 14-day bleaching treatment period, the KNO3 dentifrice patients experienced significantly more "sensitivity free days" (average = 10.1) compared to the standard fluoride dentifrice group (average = 8.6). Conclusion: The use of the KNO3 plus fluoride dentifrice (Sensodyne), two weeks prior to and throughout bleaching, may be a useful adjunct for the management of sensitivity caused by professionally dispensed bleaching products. With the bleaching-induced tooth sensitivity, those patients in the KNO3 plus fluoride toothpaste group were significantly more satisfied with their whitening experience and willing to repeat the bleaching treatment.

Abstract:In this paper, we introduce a class of vector-valued wavelet packets of space L2(Rs,Cv), which are generalizations of multivariate wavelet packets. A procedure for constructing a class of biorthogonal vector-valued higher-dimensional wavelet packets is presented and their biorthogonality properties are characterized by virtue of matrix theory, time-frequency analysis method, and operator theory. Three biorthogonality formu-las regarding these wavelet packets are derived. Moreover, it is shown how to obtain new Riesz bases of space L2(Rs,Cv) from these wavelet packets.

Abstract:Objective To evaluate the influence of air‐abrasion of enamel with three different desensitizing powders on the whitening effect of a bleaching gel containing 40% H2O2, which was used for in‐office tooth bleaching. Materials and Methods Forty human incisors, extracted and prepared, were acquired for this study and subsequently randomized into four groups (n = 10). The control group specimens underwent no pretreatment prior to the bleaching procedure, whereas the remaining three groups underwent air abrasion using distinct desensitizing powders; (a) Sylc, which contains bioglass 45S5; (b) BioMinF, which contains calcium phospho‐fluoro‐silicate glass; and (c) MI Pearls, which contains nano‐hydroxyapatite, 1 h preceding the Opalescence Boost PF 40% bleaching procedure. Color measurements were conducted using a double‐beam UV–Vis spectrophotometer at four distinct time points (prior to bleaching, 24 h, 15 days, and 30 days post‐bleaching). Results Tooth color change outcomes revealed that there were no statistically significant results with respect to the interaction of the two criteria (treatments and time) (p = 0.990). Additionally, there were no statistically significant results with respect to the main effects of treatments (p = 0.385), while there were statistically significant effects with respect to the time criterion (p = 0.013). Conclusions The use of the tested desensitizing powders prior the bleaching procedure did not affect the tooth color change induced by the tested bleaching agent. Clinical Significance Tooth color change and whiteness are not affected by air‐abrasion desensitizing treatments when applied prior to in‐office bleaching procedures.

Abstract:Aims: This study evaluated bleaching efficacy (BE), tooth sensitivity (TS), and enamel microstructure after in-office dental bleaching treatment with experimental desensitizing gel containing ozone (O3). Study Design: For the TS and BE analysis, forty third molars were divided into two groups (n=20): OF-B, ozone-free desensitizer and bleaching agent; O-B, 16 ppm ozonized desensitizer and bleaching agent. Place and Duration of Study: Dental Clinic of the State Western University of Parana, between June 2019 and April 2020. Methodology: The calculation indicated that 20 teeth per group, totalizing 40 teeth (30 patients), would be sufficient to detect significant differences in TS and BE (power of 80%, significance level of 5%). Dental bleaching was performed with 35% hydrogen peroxide. TS was assessed using a visual analog scale, and BE was assessed using the Vitapan Classical color visual scale. After tooth extraction, the enamel microstructure was evaluated by micromorphological analysis using a scanning electron microscope (SEM). For this analysis, eighty third molars were used, divided into four groups (n=20): OF-B and O-B previously described; OF-WB, ozone-free desensitizer without bleaching agent; O-WB, ozonated desensitizer 16 ppm without bleaching agent. Statistical analyzes of all variables were performed with a significance level of α = 0.05. The Mann-Whitney test was used for intergroup analysis for two outcomes, and the Friedman test was used for intragroup analysis. McNemar's exact test compared the risks of tooth sensitivity in the two groups (α = 0.05). Results: TS was higher in the OF-B group. No significant differences were observed in BE. No modification was demonstrated in the enamel microstructure by the action of O3. Conclusion: The experimental gel containing O3 is a promising desensitizing agent for clinical use, reducing tooth sensitivity, without interfering with the color achieved by dental bleaching and in the microstructure of tooth enamel.
Preemptive use of ibuprofen and desensitizer decreases immediate tooth sensitivity after in-office bleaching

Abstract:BACKGROUND: The authors evaluated the synergistic analgesic effect of preemptive administration of 400 mg of ibuprofen (IBU) and potassium fluoride 2% (KF2), both in isolation or combination, on the painful perception of tooth sensitivity after tooth bleaching.METHODS: Fifteen patients participated in this triple-blind, randomized, placebo-controlled clinical trial. The study used a crossover design for drug administration and a split-mouth design for desensitizer agent. Four paired groups were formed: IBU plus KF2 (IBU + KF2); IBU (IBU + placebo KF); KF2 (placebo IBU + KF2), and placebo (placebo IBU + placebo KF). The outcome measure was the perception of tooth sensitivity, assessed using a visual analog scale. Data were collected at 4 different times: immediately after tooth bleaching (baseline) and after 6, 30, and 54 hours. Statistical analysis was performed using the Friedman test and relative risk.RESULTS: IBU plus KF2 was found to be more effective in reducing tooth sensitivity immediately after bleaching (baseline) compared with the placebo group (P < .05). The risk of experiencing moderate or severe tooth sensitivity was approximately 4 times higher in the placebo group than in the IBU plus KF2 group (relative risk, 4.00; 95% CI, 1.01 to 15.81; P = .025).CONCLUSIONS: The combined use of 400 mg of IBU and KF2 appears to be beneficial in managing postbleaching tooth sensitivity. It provides a superior analgesic effect compared with placebo.PRACTICAL IMPLICATIONS: The preemptive administration of IBU plus KF2 reduces tooth sensitivity after tooth whitening when compared with placebo. This clinical trial was registered in the Brazilian Clinical Trials Registry Platform. The registration number is U1111-1249-8191.

Abstract:Objective To evaluate the clinical behavior of different bleaching products - the hydrogen peroxide (H2O2), carbamide peroxide (CP), and titanium dioxide bleaching systems. Methods Three bleaching systems with different concentrations (H2O2 15%, 38%, CP 15%, 35%, and titanium dioxide 20% H2O2) were used. Sixty participants with discolored teeth were enrolled and equally divided into six groups. Each group was rendered the assigned bleaching protocol against the control group, which received plain dentifrice polishing. Each case was evaluated immediately, two weeks, three months, six months, and one year after the bleaching treatment. The clinical evaluation was made for color change by (shade guide and digital images with L*a*b* parameters), tooth sensitivity, gingival irritation, and participants' satisfaction. Results All bleaching systems showed color improvement after bleaching regimens with significant effect showed by in-office titanium dioxide 20% H2O2 followed by 38% H2O2 with Δ=10.26 and Δ=6.52, respectively, when compared to other bleaching techniques. Higher sensitivity was recorded in group III with 50% of the participants reporting postoperative sensitivity. Higher gingival irritation was recorded in group IV (15% CP) where 60% of the patients reported gingival irritation. Thirty-five of the 60 participants (58.5%) recorded that the treatment whitened their teeth "moderately" and "a lot" while seven participants recorded "a slight" difference. There was a highly significant difference in participants' satisfaction between all bleaching groups (p < 0.05). Conclusion It is evident that there is a development of dental sensitivity and gingival irritation irrespective of the bleaching system used. The color assessment showed that the desired result can be achieved with variable levels of patient satisfaction with excellent overall results with the titanium dioxide system.
Comparison of in-office and at-home bleaching techniques: An umbrella review of efficacy and post-operative sensitivity

Abstract:Objectives: The objective of this umbrella review is to evaluate the efficacy and adverse effects of different teeth whitening techniques in-office (IO) and at-home (AH), regarding chromatic changes and teeth sensitivity. Materials and methods: The search was carried out from several databases. The included studies were all systematic reviews with or without meta-analysis of RCT or quasi-RCT. The participants were patients that underwent external dental bleaching in permanent vital teeth. The interventions were in-office (IO) bleaching techniques and at-home (AT) bleaching techniques with different bleaching agents and concentrations. Results: The search resulted in a total of 257 articles, and 28 SR were included in the qualitative analysis and nine in the quantitative analysis. There is no difference between in-office and at-home techniques in terms of color change (p = 0.95) and post-treatment sensitivity (p = 0.85). There is similarity risk and intensity of teeth sensitivity between AH and IO bleaching. IO bleaching with light-activated systems with low concentrations of bleaching agent showed similar results to IO bleaching techniques with high concentrated bleaching gels. With the application of the criteria of the AMSTAR 2 tool, the reviews were considered critically low to high. Conclusions: There are no significant differences in terms of color change between the different bleaching techniques compared. Teeth sensitivity is always present regardless of the technique used. The use of light activation systems did not increase the intensity and risk of post-operative sensitivity.
Use of calcium-containing bioactive desensitizers in dental bleaching: A systematic review and meta-analysis

Abstract:Background: Topical application of calcium-containing bioactive desensitizers (CBs) has been used to minimize bleaching-induced tooth sensitivity (TS). This study answered the research question "Is the risk of TS lower when CBs are used with dental bleaching in adults compared with bleaching without desensitizers?" Types of studies reviewed: The authors included randomized clinical trials comparing topical CB application with a placebo or no intervention during bleaching. Searches for eligible articles were performed in MEDLINE via PubMed, Cochrane Library, Brazilian Library in Dentistry, Latin American and Caribbean Health Sciences Literature, Scopus, Web of Science, Embase, and gray literature without language and date restrictions and updated in September 2022. The risk of bias was evaluated using Risk of Bias Version 2.0. The authors conducted meta-analyses with the random-effects model. The authors assessed heterogeneity with the Cochrane Q test, I2 statistics, and prediction interval. The authors used the Grading of Recommendations Assessment, Development and Evaluation approach to assess the certainty of the evidence. Results: After database screening, 22 studies remained, with most at high risk of bias. No difference in the risk of TS was detected (risk ratio, 0.95; 95% CI, 0.90 to 1.01; P = .08, low certainty). In a visual analog scale, the intensity of TS (mean difference, -0.98; 95% CI, -1.36 to -0.60; P < .0001, very low certainty) was lower for the CB group. The color change was unaffected (P > .08). Practical implications: Although topical CB dental bleaching did not reduce the risk of TS and color change, these agents slightly reduced the TS intensity, but the certainty of the evidence is very low.
Effect of preoperative systemic capsaicin on tooth sensitivity after in-office bleaching: A pilot study

Abstract:Background: Tooth bleaching sensitivity (TBS) after bleaching procedures is a common problem. This study was undertaken to determine the effect of preoperative systemic capsaicin on tooth sensitivity (TS) after in-office bleaching procedures. Materials and methods: Thirty participants received the treatment in this clinical trial. The subjects were randomly assigned to two groups (n = 15). Placebo and 0.25% capsaicin were administered three times daily for 24 h, with the first dose being administrated 1 h before the bleaching procedure. The subjects underwent two bleaching sessions at a 2-week interval by applying 40% hydrogen peroxide gel on six upper anterior teeth. A visual analog scale (VAS) was used to evaluate TS. Data were analyzed with SPSS 24. Statistical analyses were carried out with the Wilcoxon test and paired t-test. Statistical significance was set at P ≤ 0.05. Results: In the capsaicin group, there was a significant increase in TBS between the immediate and 1-h postoperative intervals and a significant decrease between 1- and 24-h postoperative intervals (P = 0.01 and P = 0.000, respectively). In the placebo group, there was a significant decrease between immediate and 24-h and between 1- and 24-h postoperative intervals (P = 0.007, P = 0.02). Milder TS was detected in the placebo group 24 h after bleaching (P < 0.05). Conclusion: Under the limitations of this study, preoperative use of systemic capsaicin did not significantly affect TS after the in-office bleaching procedure.

Abstract:Introduction Tooth color is a key factor in the perception of an attractive smile, making bleaching a widely sought-after cosmetic dental procedure. Valued for its minimally invasive approach, this technique effectively lightens teeth to achieve desired aesthetic outcomes. As the desire for immediate results grows among patients, various bleaching agents, and energy sources have been developed to expedite the bleaching process. The study aims to evaluate and compare the efficacy of 35% hydrogen peroxide activated by light-emitting diode (LED) and laser on artificially stained teeth, assessing color changes at different time intervals. Methodology Sixty maxillary central incisors with intact crowns were selected for the study. An artificial staining solution was prepared, and the samples were immersed in it for 15 days to simulate staining. After this period, the teeth were removed from the solution, rinsed with water, and dried. Baseline photographs of each tooth were taken for comparison. The teeth were then divided into two groups, one treated with LED activation and the other with laser activation of 35% hydrogen peroxide as the bleaching agent. The color changes were measured and recorded at different time intervals. Data were presented as mean and standard deviation, with statistical analysis conducted using independent sample t-test and repeated measures ANOVA to compare the efficacy of the two methods. Results Both LED and laser activation of 35% hydrogen peroxide demonstrated significant color changes in the stained teeth. The initial color improvement was noticeable in both groups, with LED and laser treatments producing comparable whitening effects. The mean color change values indicated that both activation sources were effective in enhancing the bleaching process, providing immediate and substantial results. Statistical analysis showed no significant difference between the two methods, suggesting their equivalency in clinical efficacy for tooth bleaching. Conclusion The study concludes that both LED and laser activation of 35% hydrogen peroxide are efficient methods for in-office tooth bleaching, providing immediate and enhanced whitening effects. The comparable results between the two energy sources indicate that can be effectively used to meet the increasing demand for rapid aesthetic improvements in a clinical setting. This finding supports the adoption of both LED and laser bleaching techniques as viable options for dental practitioners aiming to achieve optimal patient satisfaction with minimal invasiveness.

Abstract:Objectives Evaluate the bleaching efficacy (BE) and tooth sensitivity (TS) of in‐office bleaching using different application tips. Methods Forty‐eight participants were selected (split‐mouth), one to receive bleaching with an attached brush tip and one with a conventional tip. The procedure was performed with Whiteness Automixx Plus 35%. The BE was evaluated at the beginning, weekly, one and 12 months post‐bleaching with a Vita Easyshade spectrophotometer (ΔE*ab, ΔE00, and WID) and with Vita classical A1‐D4 and Vita Bleachedguide shade guides units (ΔSGU). Absolute risk and intensity of TS were recorded using the Visual Analogue Scale. The equivalence of BE was analyzed using the two one‐sided t‐tests for paired samples. The absolute risk of TS was evaluated using the McNemar test, and the TS intensity was measured with the paired t test (α = 0.05). Abstract:Objective: This prospective case series aimed to clinically evaluate the bleaching effect, spontaneous tooth sensitivity and variation in the thermal sensation threshold of different groups of teeth undergoing in-office bleaching. Method and materials: Ten patients received conventional bleaching treatment: 35% hydrogen peroxide with 3 bleaching sessions of 45 minutes, evaluating color change (ΔE and ΔE00), whitening index (WID), and tooth sensitivity (VAS). Thermal stimulus-generating devices were used to simulate sensitivity caused by low temperatures through Quantitative Sensory Tests (QST). Analyses were conducted individually on different teeth groups (n=20) (lower incisors LI, upper incisors UI, canines C, upper first premolars PM). Results: Regarding color change, LI and UI did not statistically differ from each other but showed significant difference and greater bleaching potential compared to C and PM (P =.018). Regarding sensitivity, LI and UI presented the highest spontaneous sensitivity values (P =.032), while PM did not display painful symptoms, also observed in provoked sensitivity analysis (P =.025). Conclusions: The general analysis of the results indicates that the tooth type responds differently to the whitening treatment, both in relation to the aesthetic benefit and the occurrence of tooth sensitivity. It was observed that lower incisors reach the degree of chromatic saturation before canines and premolars, in addition to presenting greater bleaching sensitivity. Personalizing the treatment, based on prior knowledge of the degree of saturation, anatomical factors and the risk of sensitivity, can provide considerable advantages in the whitening technique.

Abstract:OBJECTIVE: This randomized, controlled, double-blind clinical study evaluated the effect of calcium sodium phosphosilicate (NovaMin) and casein phosphopeptide-amorphous calcium phosphate with fluoride (CPP-ACPF) on the prevention of post-operative sensitivity and on the effects of clinical bleaching treatment.MATERIAL AND METHODS: Sixty volunteers were selected according to inclusion and exclusion criteria and were randomly assigned into three groups (n=20): CG (control group) patients, who were treated with 35% hydrogen peroxide; NOVAG (NovaMin group) patients, who were treated with 35% hydrogen peroxide followed by the application of NovaMin; and CPPG (CPP group) patients, who were treated with 35% hydrogen peroxide followed by the application of CPP-ACPF. Both bioactive agents were applied for five minutes. An evaporative stimulus associated with a modified visual scale was used to analyze sensitivity 24 hours after each bleaching session. The color evaluation was performed on the maxillary central incisors using a spectrophotometer. Associations between the intervention group, bleaching session, and reported sensitivity were tested using Chi-square partitioning.RESULTS: Color change values (ΔE) were analyzed using analysis of variance (ANOVA). The significance level used for both tests was 5%. In the intragroup assessment, the Friedman test showed that only the CPP-ACPF group showed no statistically significant difference (p<0.05) between baseline and first bleaching session. In the intergroup assessment, the Kruskal-Wallis test showed that the CPPG had less postoperative sensitivity after the first session, when compared to the other groups (p<0.05). Color change analysis (ΔE) showed a significant difference between the means obtained in the different bleaching sessions in all groups (p<0.05).CONCLUSIONS: This study showed that the combination of CPP-ACPF with 35% hydrogen peroxide significantly reduced post-operative sensitivity in the first session, compared with the other evaluated treatments. The association of CPP-ACPF and NovaMin did not affect the color change induced by tooth bleaching.
