Abstract:BACKGROUND: Wearable devices have attracted much attention from the market in recent years for their fitness monitoring and other health-related metrics; however, the accuracy of fitness tracking results still plays a major role in health promotion.OBJECTIVE: The aim of this study was to evaluate the accuracy of a host of latest wearable devices in measuring fitness-related indicators under various seminatural activities.METHODS: A total of 44 healthy subjects were recruited, and each subject was asked to simultaneously wear 6 devices (Apple Watch 2, Samsung Gear S3, Jawbone Up3, Fitbit Surge, Huawei Talk Band B3, and Xiaomi Mi Band 2) and 2 smartphone apps (Dongdong and Ledongli) to measure five major health indicators (heart rate, number of steps, distance, energy consumption, and sleep duration) under various activity states (resting, walking, running, cycling, and sleeping), which were then compared with the gold standard (manual measurements of the heart rate, number of steps, distance, and sleep, and energy consumption through oxygen consumption) and calculated to determine their respective mean absolute percentage errors (MAPEs).RESULTS: Wearable devices had a rather high measurement accuracy with respect to heart rate, number of steps, distance, and sleep duration, with a MAPE of approximately 0.10, whereas poor measurement accuracy was observed for energy consumption (calories), indicated by a MAPE of up to 0.44. The measurements varied for the same indicator measured by different fitness trackers. The variation in measurement of the number of steps was the highest (Apple Watch 2: 0.42; Dongdong: 0.01), whereas it was the lowest for heart rate (Samsung Gear S3: 0.34; Xiaomi Mi Band 2: 0.12). Measurements differed insignificantly for the same indicator measured under different states of activity; the MAPE of distance and energy measurements were in the range of 0.08 to 0.17 and 0.41 to 0.48, respectively. Overall, the Samsung Gear S3 performed the best for the measurement of heart rate under the resting state (MAPE of 0.04), whereas Dongdong performed the best for the measurement of the number of steps under the walking state (MAPE of 0.01). Fitbit Surge performed the best for distance measurement under the cycling state (MAPE of 0.04), and Huawei Talk Band B3 performed the best for energy consumption measurement under the walking state (MAPE of 0.17).CONCLUSIONS: At present, mainstream devices are able to reliably measure heart rate, number of steps, distance, and sleep duration, which can be used as effective health evaluation indicators, but the measurement accuracy of energy consumption is still inadequate. Fitness trackers of different brands vary with regard to measurement of indicators and are all affected by the activity state, which indicates that manufacturers of fitness trackers need to improve their algorithms for different activity states.

Abstract:Objective: Objectively and efficiently measuring physical activity is a common issue facing the fields of medicine, public health, education, and sports worldwide. In response to the problem of low accuracy in predicting energy consumption during human motion using accelerometers, a prediction model for asynchronous energy consumption in the human body is established through various algorithms, and the accuracy of the model is evaluated. The optimal energy consumption prediction model is selected to provide theoretical reference for selecting reasonable algorithms to predict energy consumption during human motion. Methods: A total of 100 subjects aged 18–30 years participated in the study. Experimental data for all subjects are randomly divided into the modeling group ( n = 70) and validation group ( n = 30). Each participant wore a triaxial accelerometer, COSMED Quark pulmonary function tester (Quark PFT), and heart rate band at the same time, and completed the tasks of walking (speed range: 2 km/h, 3 km/h, 4 km/h, 5 km/h, and 6 km/h) and running (speed range: 7 km/h, 8 km/h, and 9 km/h) sequentially. The prediction models were built using accelerometer data as the independent variable and the metabolic equivalents (METs) as the dependent variable. To calculate the prediction accuracy of the models, root mean square error (RMSE) and bias were used, and the consistency of each prediction model was evaluated based on Bland–Altman analysis. Results: The linear equation, logarithmic equation, cubic equation, artificial neural network (ANN) model, and walking-and-running two-stage model were established. According to the validation results, our proposed walking-and-running two-stage model showed the smallest overall EE prediction error (RMSE = 0.76 METs, Bias = 0.02 METs) and the best performance in Bland–Altman analysis. Additionally, it had the lowest error in predicting EE during walking (RMSE = 0.66 METs, Bias = 0.03 METs) and running (RMSE = 0.90 METs, Bias < 0.01 METs) separately, as well as high accuracy in predicting EE at each single speed. Conclusion: The ANN-based walking-and-running two-stage model established by separating walking and running can better estimate the walking and running EE, the improvement of energy consumption prediction accuracy will be conducive to more accurate to monitor the energy consumption of PA.

Abstract:Computer technology and related Internet of things technology have penetrated into people’s daily life and industrial production; even in competitive sports training and competition, the Internet of things technology has also been a large number of applications. Traditional intelligent wearable devices are mainly used to calculate the steps of athletes or sports enthusiasts, corresponding physical data, and corresponding body indicators. The energy consumption calculated by these indexes is rough and the corresponding error is large. Based on this, this paper will design a wearable device which can accurately calculate and monitor sports energy consumption based on relevant sensors and Internet of things technology. The corresponding core algorithm is the step counting algorithm, which can accurately calculate the relationship between human motion and the corresponding energy consumption and feed back to the intelligent device. In the experiment, the wearable device designed in this paper is compared with the traditional intelligent device. The experiment shows that the wearable device proposed in this paper is more accurate in energy consumption estimation than the traditional device, and its corresponding energy consumption is relatively small.

Abstract:BACKGROUND: Wearable devices are gaining increasing market attention; however, the monitoring accuracy and consistency of the devices remains unknown.OBJECTIVE: The purpose of this study was to assess the consistency of the monitoring measurements of the latest wearable devices in the state of normal activities to provide advice to the industry and support to consumers in making purchasing choices.METHODS: Ten pieces of representative wearable devices (2 smart watches, 4 smart bracelets of Chinese brands or foreign brands, and 4 mobile phone apps) were selected, and 5 subjects were employed to simultaneously use all the devices and the apps. From these devices, intact health monitoring data were acquired for 5 consecutive days and analyzed on the degree of differences and the relationships of the monitoring measurements by the different devices.RESULTS: The daily measurements by the different devices fluctuated greatly, and the coefficient of variation (CV) fluctuated in the range of 2-38% for the number of steps, 5-30% for distance, 19-112% for activity duration, .1-17% for total energy expenditure (EE), 22-100% for activity EE, 2-44% for sleep duration, and 35-117% for deep sleep duration. After integrating the measurement data of 25 days among the devices, the measurements of the number of steps (intraclass correlation coefficient, ICC=.89) and distance (ICC=.84) displayed excellent consistencies, followed by those of activity duration (ICC=.59) and the total EE (ICC=.59) and activity EE (ICC=.57). However, the measurements for sleep duration (ICC=.30) and deep sleep duration (ICC=.27) were poor. For most devices, there was a strong correlation between the number of steps and distance measurements (R2>.95), and for some devices, there was a strong correlation between activity duration measurements and EE measurements (R2>.7). A strong correlation was observed in the measurements of steps, distance and EE from smart watches and mobile phones of the same brand, Apple or Samsung (r>.88).CONCLUSIONS: Although wearable devices are developing rapidly, the current mainstream devices are only reliable in measuring the number of steps and distance, which can be used as health assessment indicators. However, the measurement consistencies of activity duration, EE, sleep quality, and so on, are still inadequate, which require further investigation and improved algorithms.

Abstract:Background: This study examined the accuracy of Microsoft Band (MB), Fitbit Surge HR (FS), TomTom Cardio Watch (TT), and Apple Watch (AW) for energy expenditure (EE) estimation at rest and at different physical activity (PA) intensities. Method: During summer 2016, 25 college students (13 females; Mage = 23.52 ± 1.04 years) completed four separate 10-minute exercise sessions: rest (i.e., seated quietly), light PA (LPA; 3.0-mph walking), moderate PA (MPA; 5.0-mph jogging), and vigorous PA (VPA; 7.0-mph running) on a treadmill. Indirect calorimetry served as the criterion EE measure. The AW and TT were placed on the right wrist and the FS and MB on the left—serving as comparison devices. Data were analyzed in late 2017. Results: Pearson correlation coefficients revealed only three significant relationships (r = 0.43–0.57) between smartwatches’ EE estimates and indirect calorimetry: rest-TT; LPA-MB; and MPA-AW. Mean absolute percentage error (MAPE) values indicated the MB (35.4%) and AW (42.3%) possessed the lowest error across all sessions, with MAPE across all smartwatches lowest during the LPA (33.7%) and VPA (24.6%) sessions. During equivalence testing, no smartwatch’s 90% CI fell within the equivalence region designated by indirect calorimetry. However, the greatest overlap between smartwatches’ 90% CIs and indirect calorimetry’s equivalency region was observed during the LPA and VPA sessions. Finally, EE estimate variation attributable to the use of different manufacturer’s devices was greatest at rest (53.7 ± 12.6%), but incrementally decreased as PA intensity increased. Conclusions: MB and AW appear most accurate for EE estimation. However, smartwatch manufacturers may consider concentrating most on improving EE estimate accuracy during MPA.

Abstract:The smart bracelet has become a hot-selling commodity, according to a daily consumption survey. Based on people's interest and concern for their health, the smart bracelet, as a design and application for achieving healthy weight loss monitoring, is quickly becoming a popular new favorite. This bracelet detects fat using the near-infrared diffuse reflection principle, with the goal of assisting people in controlling and maintaining a healthy weight. A large amount of data has been accumulated in all walks of life due to the development of the Internet network and data storage technology. As a result, the emergence of machine learning plays a critical role in the data analysis of human sports health monitoring of smart bracelets. Based on machine learning, this paper investigates the data analysis of human sports health monitoring smart bracelets. When the population index reaches 50 in the analysis of health monitoring data, the average accuracy of data mining is 86.8 percent, the average accuracy of the association rule algorithm is 85.9 percent, the average accuracy of the collaborative filtering algorithm is 84.3 percent, and the average accuracy of the machine learning algorithm is 90.1 percent in this paper. Among the four algorithms, the method presented in this paper is clearly the most effective, stable, and accurate. The system's stability and accuracy have been greatly improved by the addition of GPS-assisted and hand-up misjudgment algorithms. Because the smart bracelet is inexpensive, easy to wear, and consistent with consumer psychology, it is becoming increasingly popular to use it to monitor the human body's sports health.

Abstract:Objective: Validated the Apple Watch (AW), Fitbit Surge HR (FS), TomTom Multisport Cardio Watch (TT), and Microsoft Band (MB) in energy expenditure (EE), average heart rate (HR), and peak HR assessment during exergaming. Materials and Methods: Twenty-one college students participated in this study in Spring 2016. A 20-minute boxing session was completed on the NintendoA (R) Wii (TM). The AW and TT were placed on the left wrist and the FS and MB on the right. Each smartwatches' EE and HR data were compared with identical data provided by ActiGraph GT3X+-Bluetooth accelerometers and an associated ActiGraph HR strap. Results: Initial agreement was observed between the ActiGraph and: FS and TT EE (r = 0.62-0.69); AW, FS, and TT average HR (r = 0.47-0.74); and all smartwatches' peak HR (r = 0.59-0.65). However, post hoc comparisons indicated differences between the ActiGraph and: FS and TT EE measurements (P < 0.01) and MB average/peak HR measurements (P < 0.01). Low measurement bias/adequate precision observed for most smartwatches versus ActiGraph. Conclusions: Observations indicated smartwatch average/peak HR measurements as moderately valid. Smartwatch EE measurements were less valid.

Abstract:The application of micro electro mechanical system (MEMS) is more and more extensive, involving military, medical, communication and other major fields. The progress of science and technology has brought cross era changes to human beings, but also brought troubles to human beings. Because machines can replace most people, which leads to a significant reduction in human exercise, many people have the symptoms of obesity. Therefore, how to effectively detect human exercise energy consumption is of great significance to improve obesity symptoms. The energy consumption detector takes stm32f103zet6 as the core processor and uses the inertial sensor mpu6050 to build a MEMS sensor system to monitor the daily motion state and gait of human body in real time. In the design of the big data algorithm, the adaptive peak detection and step, decision tree two-level classification of motion recognition big data algorithm are organically integrated, and then combined with the acceleration vector value of the motion energy detection big data algorithm, to process the collected motion data, including the acceleration signal, gyroscope and other data processing, and finally complete the feature extraction, get the final recognition and detection results. Through the data reference, we can know that the system can recognize different human motion states. Among them, it has 95% accuracy in the motion recognition of sitting, standing, walking, running, going up and down stairs and lying back, which is basically the same as the top detectors on the market. In the energy consumption detection, it also has 95% accuracy, which proves the correctness of the experimental big data algorithm design, and also improves the accuracy It is proved that the system has good performance and high practicability, and can provide a new idea for obese individual motion detection.

Abstract:Based on the built-in acceleration sensor of the smart phone, this paper studies the signal data processing of the sensor in the smart phone worn by the rope skipper in the process of rope skipping into intuitive energy consumption data. For this reason, the mathematical model of the sensor signal data processing is established, and the data is compared with the data generated by the professional test instrument, so as to provide reference for the future Smart phone sensors lay the foundation for the prediction of energy consumption in various sports. Methods: 50 volunteers were selected to participate in the experiment (25 male and 25 female), 40 in the control group and 10 in the study group. 50 volunteers participated in the experiment were wearing a Huawei mobile phone and a set of gas metabolism analyzer to complete the two parts of the test; the test action was the standard rope skipping action, and different times of rope skipping per minute were set. Before the experiment, the participants must be in good health, keep calm physiological state and control variables. After that, the standard rope skipping for five minutes is carried out, and the signal received by the sensor on the mobile phone is analyzed and generated by the test software and instrument, and the prediction equation with the age, height and weight of the tested person as the independent variable is established. The purpose is to explore and analyze the different prediction of energy consumption of rope skipping by different sensors on smart phones, and the rope skipping frequency is more effective for energy consumption under different frequencies per minute.
Development and validation of a smartwatch algorithm for differentiating physical activity intensity in health monitoring

Abstract:To develop and validate a machine learning based algorithm to estimate physical activity (PA) intensity using the smartwatch with the capacity to record PA and determine outdoor state. Two groups of participants, including 24 adults (13 males) and 18 children (9 boys), completed a sequential activity trial. During each trial, participants wore a smartwatch, and energy expenditure was measured using indirect calorimetry as gold standard. The support vector machine algorithm and the least squares regression model were applied for the metabolic equivalent (MET) estimation using raw data derived from the smartwatch. Exercise intensity was categorized based on MET values into sedentary activity (SED), light activity (LPA), moderate activity (MPA), and vigorous activity (VPA). The classification accuracy was evaluated using area under the ROC curve (AUC). The METs estimation accuracy were assessed via the mean absolute error (MAE), the correlation coefficient, Bland–Altman plots, and intraclass correlation (ICC). A total of 24 adults aged 21–34 years and 18 children aged 9–13 years participated in the study, yielding 1790 and 1246 data points for adults and children respectively for model building and validation. For adults, the AUC for classifying SED, MVPA, and VPA were 0.96, 0.88, and 0.86, respectively. The MAE between true METs and estimated METs was 0.75 METs. The correlation coefficient and ICC were 0.87 ( p < 0.001) and 0.89, respectively. For children, comparable levels of accuracy were demonstrated, with the AUC for SED, MVPA, and VPA being 0.98, 0.89, and 0.85, respectively. The MAE between true METs and estimated METs was 0.80 METs. The correlation coefficient and ICC were 0.79 ( p < 0.001) and 0.84, respectively. The developed model successfully estimated PA intensity with high accuracy in both adults and children. The application of this model enables independent investigation of PA intensity, facilitating research in health monitoring and potentially in areas such as myopia prevention and control.

Abstract:With the rapid development of the information age, Internet and other technologies have been making progress, people’s fitness awareness has been gradually enhanced, and sports fitness app has emerged as the times require. This paper mainly studies the step-counting function of physical training app for teenagers based on artificial intelligence. This paper uses the modular development method to achieve the functional requirements of the system as the goal, respectively, for parameter management, website configuration, system log, interface security settings, SMS configuration, WeChat template message and several functional modules to achieve system configuration. In this paper, three types of sensors are used to analyze the data changes in the process of walking through three types of data, and different weights are given as the results of step-counting. When the peak value of sensor data is measured, only the peak value of the primary axial data of each sensor is analyzed, which should be determined according to the actual axial value of the sensor. In this paper, the users’ evaluation indexes of sports fitness app are divided into two groups: importance and satisfaction, so the obtained data are directly divided into two groups: importance and satisfaction of user experience indexes of sports fitness app, and the two groups of data are matched with the sample t test to ensure the scientific conclusion. Finally, the advantages and disadvantages of the user experience of college students’ sports fitness app are analyzed through IPA analysis. Heuristic evaluation is carried out on the step app to score the second-level usability index of the app. The first-level usability index score and the total usability score of the step app are obtained by calculation. There is not much difference between male and female students who use sports apps. Among them, 288 are male students, accounting for 58.2% of the total and 16.4% are female students. The results show that the use of artificial intelligence technology can reduce the overall energy consumption of step-counting algorithm, so as to achieve an energy-saving step-counting algorithm.

Validity of Wrist-Wearable Activity Devices for Estimating Physical Activity in Adolescents: Comparative Study

Abstract:Background The rapid advancements in science and technology of wrist-wearable activity devices offer considerable potential for clinical applications. Self-monitoring of physical activity (PA) with activity devices is helpful to improve the PA levels of adolescents. However, knowing the accuracy of activity devices in adolescents is necessary to identify current levels of PA and assess the effectiveness of intervention programs designed to increase PA. Objective The study aimed to determine the validity of the 11 commercially available wrist-wearable activity devices for monitoring total steps and total 24-hour total energy expenditure (TEE) in healthy adolescents under simulated free-living conditions. Methods Nineteen (10 male and 9 female) participants aged 14 to 18 years performed a 24-hour activity cycle in a metabolic chamber. Each participant simultaneously wore 11 commercial wrist-wearable activity devices (Mi Band 2 [XiaoMi], B2 [Huawei], Bong 2s [Meizu], Amazfit [Huamei], Flex [Fitbit], UP3 [Jawbone], Shine 2 [Misfit], GOLiFE Care-X [GoYourLife], Pulse O2 [Withings], Vivofit [Garmin], and Loop [Polar Electro]) and one research-based triaxial accelerometer (GT3X+ [ActiGraph]). Criterion measures were total EE from the metabolic chamber (mcTEE) and total steps from the GT3X+ (AGsteps). Results Pearson correlation coefficients r for 24-hour TEE ranged from .78 (Shine 2, Amazfit) to .96 (Loop) and for steps ranged from 0.20 (GOLiFE) to 0.57 (Vivofit). Mean absolute percent error (MAPE) for TEE ranged from 5.7% (Mi Band 2) to 26.4% (Amazfit) and for steps ranged from 14.2% (Bong 2s) to 27.6% (Loop). TEE estimates from the Mi Band 2, UP3, Vivofit, and Bong 2s were equivalent to mcTEE. Total steps from the Bong 2s were equivalent to AGsteps. Conclusions Overall, the Bong 2s had the best accuracy for estimating TEE and total steps under simulated free-living conditions. Further research is needed to examine the validity of these devices in different types of physical activities under real-world conditions.

Abstract:With the improvement of people's material living standards, more and more people start to pay attention to health issues. This paper takes the health field as the main research object, and discusses the current development and status quo of the health field. Through literature review, it is found that the current health field mainly focuses on the single monitoring of a certain organ or body function, and there are limitations in systematic health monitoring research, and most of the research stays at the stage of human body monitoring. Therefore, this paper intends to design a sports health monitoring and management system based on artificial intelligence. The system is mainly divided into a body temperature monitoring module, a blood pressure monitoring module and an exercise monitoring module, through which the user's health data is monitored. In order to ensure the practicability of the system, this paper selects three common life states in daily life for experimental testing, namely exercise state, rest state and sick state. The experimental test results show that each monitoring module can operate correctly and normally under three different states. The lowest temperature was 36.5° and the highest temperature was 37.1° under the exercise state. The lowest blood pressure is 70 in the resting state, and the highest blood pressure is 80. In the sick state, the maximum value of motor threshold is 0.2, the minimum value is 0.1, and the threshold difference is 0.1. Each module reads and backs up relevant data, and sends it to the platform for intelligent analysis. The platform will analyze and compare the data of different modules at the same time, judge the health status of the user at that time, choose whether to issue a health alert for the user, and finally complete the entire system process of the health monitoring management system. This proves that the sports health monitoring management system based on artificial intelligence algorithm designed in this paper is effective and feasible.

Abstract:Physical training data are greatly affected by the human movement state, and the current monitoring method has the problem of low accuracy. A dynamic monitoring method of physical training intensity is designed based on the wearable sensor. The wearable sensor network is established, the quaternion is transformed into the corresponding Euler angle, and the measurement of the sensor is transformed into the human body coordinate system. In the process of human motion reconstruction, the human motion state parameters are estimated based on the wearable sensor data, the parameter eigenvalues are extracted, and the decision tree classification algorithm is used to identify the physical training state. According to the classification results, the dynamic monitoring model of three-dimensional energy training intensity is established, and the numerical index of training intensity is obtained. In terms of various physical training items, the average monitoring accuracy of the dynamic monitoring method of physical training intensity based on the wearable sensor is 97.12%, which is 3.70%, 4.59%, and 5.04% higher than the methods based on reflected interframe image, median average filtering algorithm, and Internet of Things technology, respectively, so as to realize the accurate monitoring of sports state.

Abstract:This paper presents our approach to use refactoring techniques together with code generation. Refactoring is particularly useful if not only the generated classes but also the generator itself can be adapted in an automatic fashion. We have developed a simple demonstration prototype to illustrate this. The demonstration is based on a special technique where the template for the code generation is defined as compilable source code. The directives to ll out this template prototype to the actual classes are embedded in the source as comments.
Validity of Wrist-Wearable Activity Devices for Estimating Physical Activity in Adolescents: Comparative Study (Preprint)

Abstract:BACKGROUND The rapid advancements in science and technology of wrist-wearable activity devices offer considerable potential for clinical applications. Self-monitoring of physical activity (PA) with activity devices is helpful to improve the PA levels of adolescents. However, knowing the accuracy of activity devices in adolescents is necessary to identify current levels of PA and assess the effectiveness of intervention programs designed to increase PA. OBJECTIVE The study aimed to determine the validity of the 11 commercially available wrist-wearable activity devices for monitoring total steps and total 24-hour total energy expenditure (TEE) in healthy adolescents under simulated free-living conditions. METHODS Nineteen (10 male and 9 female) participants aged 14 to 18 years performed a 24-hour activity cycle in a metabolic chamber. Each participant simultaneously wore 11 commercial wrist-wearable activity devices (Mi Band 2 [XiaoMi], B2 [Huawei], Bong 2s [Meizu], Amazfit [Huamei], Flex [Fitbit], UP3 [Jawbone], Shine 2 [Misfit], GOLiFE Care-X [GoYourLife], Pulse O2 [Withings], Vivofit [Garmin], and Loop [Polar Electro]) and one research-based triaxial accelerometer (GT3X+ [ActiGraph]). Criterion measures were total EE from the metabolic chamber (mcTEE) and total steps from the GT3X+ (AGsteps). RESULTS Pearson correlation coefficients r for 24-hour TEE ranged from .78 (Shine 2, Amazfit) to .96 (Loop) and for steps ranged from 0.20 (GOLiFE) to 0.57 (Vivofit). Mean absolute percent error (MAPE) for TEE ranged from 5.7% (Mi Band 2) to 26.4% (Amazfit) and for steps ranged from 14.2% (Bong 2s) to 27.6% (Loop). TEE estimates from the Mi Band 2, UP3, Vivofit, and Bong 2s were equivalent to mcTEE. Total steps from the Bong 2s were equivalent to AGsteps. CONCLUSIONS Overall, the Bong 2s had the best accuracy for estimating TEE and total steps under simulated free-living conditions. Further research is needed to examine the validity of these devices in different types of physical activities under real-world conditions.

Abstract:Since the traditional annual physical fitness test for adolescents in schools lacks of real-time dynamic data collection and deep analysis, we propose a data analysis model mapping from raw dynamic data to physical fitness evaluation, based on a self-developed wearable smartband by which we collect dynamic data from middle school students in Beijing. Firstly, the model presents a preprocessing algorithm which consists of a smoothness priors approach (SPA) and a median filter (MF), aiming for preprocessing of both photo plethysmo graphy(PPG) signals and three-axis acceleration data collected from the wearable smartband. Secondly, the model implements physiological and physical index estimation to acquire heart rate (HR), blood oxygen saturation (SpO 2 ) and exercise amount estimates from the preprocessed data. Thirdly, the model extracts several key features closely related to physical fitness evaluation from the estimated HR, SpO 2 and acceleration data. Finally, a support vector machine (SVM) algorithm is employed for classification of physical fitness level of different smartband users. An application testing of our self-developed wearable smartband has been implemented in Tongzhou No. 6 middle school of Beijing. Experimental evaluation results demonstrate feasibility and effectiveness of both the smartband hardware/software and the proposed data analysis model.

Abstract:<p>With the acceleration of modernization and the marked improvement in the quality of life, more and more people pay attention to their own health. Sports health has become the first choice for most people because of its natural and healthy way. Therefore, devices with step counting functions such as smart bracelets and smart phones came into being. This paper proposes a design method for measuring the human body's multiple physiological parameters with multiple sampling frequencies. It collects three physiological parameters of blood oxygen saturation, exercise energy consumption and body temperature of a sports human body. At the same time, in order to improve the endurance of a healthy bracelet, a variable sampling frequency scheme is designed using the BP neural network algorithm, and all physical health information can be determined according to the heart rate frequency. STM32 combined with host computer is used to verify the design method. It can monitor real-time human physiological parameters and conduct a comprehensive assessment of human health recording changes in human health information. Through the system test and analysis of the experimental results, it is verified that the physiological data collected has higher accuracy based on improving the endurance.</p>

Abstract:Abstract Information technology, as the driving force of a new round of technological and industrial changes, brings new opportunities to sports training. In this paper, a dynamic threshold step monitoring strategy based on sinusoidal waveform curve of acceleration change is designed, and blood oxygen saturation content is monitored by near-infrared spectroscopy. By mining the high-frequency exercise load monitoring information, the intelligent sports training model is discussed in depth. In the application effect study at X University of S Province, the model successfully measured the average heart rate of students to be 160.91 beats/minute and the average energy consumption to be 137.27 Kcal, which provided a critical decision-making basis for physical education teaching. This finding offers a scientific implementation program for reforming physical education in colleges and universities, ensuring that physical training is accomplished efficiently and highly.
