Abstract:This corrigendum corrects an error found in the proof of correctness of the algorithm by [Ducoffe, JGT, 2022, 99(4), pp. 594–614], Theorem 6. An erroneous result from Deogun and Kratsch was used in the original proof. There are no changes in the algorithm itself.

Abstract:In the original article (Gutman et al., 2014), the authors state that the Wiener index (total distance) of an Eulerian graph is maximized by the cycle. We explain that the initial proof contains a flaw and note that it is a corollary of a result by Plesník, since an Eulerian graph is 2-edge-connected. The same incorrect proof is used in two referencing papers, (Liu et al., 2019) and (Cai et al., 2021). We give proofs of the main results of those papers and the 2-edge-connected analogues.

Abstract:A gap in the proof of Theorem 3.5 in the paper ``A new iteration process for approximation of common fixed points for finite families of total asymtotically nonexpansive mappings". Int. J. Math. Math. The argument used on page 11, starting from line 8 from bottom to the end of the proof of the theorem is not correct. In this corrigendum, it is our aim to close this gap.

Abstract:This is an erratum to the article: "Computation of maximal projection constants" (J. Funct. Anal., 277). The statement of Lemma 3.1(2) of that paper is incorrect. As a consequence of this the proof of Theorem 1.4 is incomplete. In this erratum we prove a corrected version of Lemma 3.1 and explain why, with this weaker result, our original strategy for proving Theorem 1.4 no longer works. The other results of the article, in particular the alternative proof of Grünbaum's conjecture, do not depend on Lemma 3.1 and are thus not affected by this error.

Abstract:For a graph $G,$ let $\alpha(G)$ denote its second smallest Laplacian eigenvalue. The Laplacian Spread Conjecture states that $\alpha(G)+\alpha(\overline{G}) \geq 1,$ where $\overline{G}$ is the complement of $G.$ In this paper, we have corrected two conclusions: First, the necessary and sufficient condition for $\alpha(G) + \alpha(\overline{G}) \geq 1$ is $\parallel \bigtriangledown_{x} - \bigtriangledown_{y} \parallel^{2} \geq 1$ rather than $\parallel \bigtriangledown_{x} - \bigtriangledown_{y} \parallel^{2} \geq 2$ which has been proved in \cite{BS} as demonstrated in our study. Second, we show that the Laplacian spread of balanced digraph $\Gamma$ satisfies $LS(\Gamma) \leq n - \frac{1}{2}$ but not $LS(\Gamma) \leq n - 1$ in \cite{BCEHK}, since inequality $\parallel \bigtriangledown_{x} - \bigtriangledown_{y} \parallel^{2} \geq 2$ does not hold.

Abstract:In an article entitled The Counterexample of a theorem in Wiener index of a fuzzy graph and application to illegal immigration networks, we have shown a few examples of incorrect proof of a theorem in the Wiener index. Now, in this article, we will prove it by correcting the desired theorem. We have also used the same method as the author to prove it. There are other methods of proof.
