Abstract:Purpose: The purpose of this study was to explore the application value of Neuman's nursing model in perioperative nursing for patients undergoing modified radical mastectomy. Method: A retrospective collection of data from breast cancer patients treated at Shanxi Bethune Hospital between January 2019 and December 2022 was conducted. Patients who received conventional nursing interventions were included in the conventional group. Patients who received intervention using Neuman's nursing model were placed in the study group. The psychological and physiological stress levels, quality of life, complications, nursing quality, and patient satisfaction during the perioperative period were compared between the two groups. Results: Postoperatively, the incidences of psychological stress, physiological stress, and complications in breast cancer patients who were intervened by Neuman's nursing model were significantly lower than those of patients receiving conventional nursing (all P < 0.05). Their quality of life was significantly higher than that of patients in the conventional group (P < 0.05). Nursing personnel under Neuman's nursing model scored significantly higher in terms of nursing operations, nursing attitude, completion of nursing work, and patient's cooperation (all P < 0.05). There was a significant difference in the degree of satisfaction between the two groups, with higher rates of "very satisfied" and "satisfied" patients in the Neuman's nursing model group compared to the conventional nursing group (Z=-2.036, P=0.042). Conclusion: The use of Neuman's nursing model in perioperative nursing for breast cancer patients can reduce the incidence of psychological and physiological stress. It improves nursing quality, patient's quality of life, and satisfaction with nursing.
Accelerated Perioperative Rehabilitation for Breast Cancer Patients Undergoing Radical Mastectomy: A Systematic Review

Abstract:Purpose: To summarize and analyze available evidence on perioperative accelerated rehabilitation programs for patients diagnosed with breast cancer that have had a radical mastectomy. Design: This article is a systematic review of literature based on evidence-based methodology.Methods: The '6S' evidence resource pyramid model was used to systematically search a range of databases.Findings: A total of 19 articles were extracted from the literature and used in this study, including 9 clinical decisions, 4 systematic evaluations, 4 expert consensuses, and 2 guidelines. We summarized a total of 47 lines of evidence with regard to various aspects, including preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative nursing measures.Conclusions: In this systematic review, an evidence-based methodology was used to summarize and analyze the best suggestions for perioperative accelerated rehabilitation nursing programs for breast cancer inpatients undergoing radical mastectomy. The effect of a modified perioperative management model on the mental state, quality of life, and self-care ability score of patients after radical prostatectomy: A retrospective study

Abstract:To explore the effects of an improved perioperative management model on the mental state, quality of life, and self-care ability scores of patients after radical prostatectomy. Overall, 96 postoperative prostate cancer patients admitted to our hospital between November 2019 and May 2021 were retrospectively analyzed and classified into an observation group and a control group with 48 patients each, according to the management model they received. The patients in the control group received routine care and were discharged. The observation group implemented an improved perioperative management model than the control group. Differences in mental state, quality of life, and self-care ability scores between the 2 groups were compared. After nursing, the self-rating anxiety scale and self-rating depression scale scores of the 2 groups were significantly lower than those before nursing, and the observation group's self-rating anxiety scale and self-rating depression scale scores were significantly lower than those of the control group (P < .05). Regarding emotion, cognition, and society, the observation group's quality of life scores was significantly higher than those of the control group. In contrast, overall health was significantly lower than that of the control group (P < .05). After nursing, the observation group's self-care skills, self-responsibility, health knowledge, and self-concept scores were significantly better than those of the control group (P < .05). The improved prostate cancer perioperative management model helps improve patients' unhealthy mental state, quality of life, self-care ability, and provides guidelines for the clinical care of patients after prostate cancer surgery.
Application of Integrated Medical and Nursing Care Model in the Perioperative Period of Endoscopic Precision Surgery

Abstract:Objective: This study aims to evaluate the application effects of the integrated medical and nursing care model in the perioperative period of endoscopic precision surgery, to improve surgical efficiency and patient satisfaction. Methods: A prospective randomized controlled study design was adopted. From January 2023 to December 2023, 240 patients who underwent endoscopic precision surgery in our hospital were selected and randomly divided into an experimental group (120 patients) and a control group (120 patients). The experimental group implemented an integrated medical and nursing care management model, while the control group used traditional perioperative management. The surgery time, hospital stay, postoperative complication rate, and patient satisfaction of the two groups were compared. Results: The average surgery time of the experimental group was 15% shorter than that of the control group (P<0.05), and the average hospital stay was reduced by 20% (P<0.01). The postoperative complication rate of the experimental group was 5%, compared to 15% for the control group (P<0.05). In the patient satisfaction survey, the satisfaction score of the experimental group (9.2±0.8) was significantly higher than that of the control group (7.5±1.2) (P<0.001). Conclusion: The integrated medical and nursing care model can significantly improve the efficiency and quality of perioperative management in endoscopic precision surgery, shorten surgery time and hospital stay, reduce the incidence of complications, and enhance patient satisfaction. It is recommended that the integrated medical and nursing care model be widely used in perioperative management of endoscopic precision surgery.

Abstract:e13546 Background: To explore the application effectiveness of the multidisciplinary team model based on full-course management, in advancing the health promotion of breast cancer patients. Methods: This research involved a cohort of 84 breast cancer patients, recruited from the First Affiliated Hospital of Nanjing Medical University, spanning December 2022 and June 2023. These participants were divided into a control group and an intervention group using a convenience sampling method. The control group accepted routine nursing care, while the intervention group was treated with the multidisciplinary team approaches based on full-course management. These approaches included informal pre-admission interventions and multi-dimensional improvements to peri-operative patient comfort, integrated regimens combining Chinese and Western medicine to alleviate chemotherapy complications, diversified and extended nursing care focused on improving patients' quality of life, and facilitating physical and psychological rehabilitation. The two groups of patients were evaluated in satisfaction, comfort, quality of life, psychological state and other aspects. The results were evaluated by self-made satisfaction scale, breast cancer complications during chemotherapy questionnaire, Kolcaba Comfort Scale, Quality of Life Scale (QLQ-C30), self-rating Anxiety Scale (SAS) and self-rating Depression Scale (SDS). Patient outcomes were assessed in terms of satisfaction, comfort, quality of life, and psychological state. The results were evaluated by the self-made satisfaction scale, the breast cancer chemotherapy complications questionnaire, the Kolcaba Comfort Scale, the Quality of Life Scale (QLQ-C30), the Self-Rating Anxiety Scale (SAS), and the Self-Rating Depression Scale (SDS). Results: The intervention group showed statistically significant improvements in patient satisfaction, comfort and quality of life scores compared to the control group (P<0.05). Additionally, they exhibited a lower incidence of chemotherapy complications, severe anxiety and depression during the extended care period (P<0.05). Conclusions: The multi-disciplinary team model based on the full-course management demonstrated significant clinical benefits in the application of the full-course management of breast cancer patients. It effectively reduced chemotherapy-related complications, improved peri-operative comfort, decreased the incidence of severe anxiety and depression during the period of extended care, improved the physical and mental well-being of patients, leading to greater satisfaction and an enhanced quality of life.

Abstract:Abstract Nursing models at home and abroad for breast cancer patients during the perioperative period were screened, including eight types of models: the nursing model guided by self-care theory, the plan–do–check–act cycle combined with the four-in-one model, the peer support nursing model, the nursing model guided by transcultural theory, the multidisciplinary cooperative nursing model, the knowledge–attitude–practice nursing model, the safe nursing management model, and the case nursing model. These models were analyzed and described with the aim of providing a reference for the clinical breast surgery nursing staff in China and for promoting the development of nursing in China for breast cancer during the perioperative period.

Abstract:Objective. To study the value of the individualized nursing model based on the concept of multidisciplinary team (MDT) on recovery of limb function and quality of life in patients with breast cancer. Methods. A total of 110 breast cancer patients admitted to our hospital from January 2021 to December 2021 were selected as the research objects. The 110 breast cancer patients were divided into the research group ( n = 55 ) and the control group ( n = 55 ) according to the random number table method. The control group received routine care. The research group implemented individualized nursing based on the MDT concept on the basis of routine nursing. The disabilities of the arm, shoulder, and hand (DASH) scores before nursing and 1 month after nursing were studied in the two groups, Hamilton anxiety scale (HAMA) score, Hamilton depression scale (HAMD) score, and Functional Assessment of Cancer Therapy-B (FACT-B) score. Results. After 1 month of nursing, the DASH score of the research group was lower than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant ( P < 0.05 ), and after 1 month of nursing, the HAMA score of the research group was lower than that of the control group ( P < 0.05 ). After 1 month of nursing, the HAMD scale score of the research group was lower than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant ( P < 0.05 ). After 1 month of nursing, the FACT-B score of the research group was higher than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant ( P < 0.05 ). Conclusion. The individualized nursing model based on the MDT concept has high application value for breast cancer patients. This nursing model can improve the function of limb movement, relieve the patient's anxiety and depression, and improve the patient's quality of life. This nursing model is worthy of clinical promotion.

Evaluation of hierarchical psychological nursing for breast cancer patients with upper extremity lymphedema after mastectomy

Abstract:Objective To explore the application of hierarchical psychological nursing model in breast cancer patients with postoperative upper extremity lymphedema, and provide references for psychological nursing. Methods According to the inclusion and exclusion criteria, the patients with upper extremity lymphedema after breast cancer surgery in the clinic of lymphedema nursing, Department of Breast Disease,First Affiliated Hospital, Nanjing Medical University from March to November 2016 were collected for a prospective study. A baseline survey of the patient's mental state was performed at the first visit with the Patient Health Questionnaire-9 (PHQ-9) and the Generalized Anxiety Disorder-7 (GAD-7). Totally 66 patients with PHQ-9 score≥5 and (or) GAD-7 score≥5 were divided into control group (n=33) and experimental group ( n=33) using a random number table. The quality of life in patients of two groups was evaluated by the upper limb lymphedema 27 questionnaire at their first visit. According to the results of experimental group, the psychological nursing grades of the patients were defined and hierarchical psychological nursing was given accordingly. The control group was given routine psychological care. The scores in PHQ-9, GAD-7 and the upper limb lymphedema 27 questionnaire were recorded in the middle and final stages of lymphedema treatment in both groups. The depression and anxiety symptoms and the result of upper limb lymphedema 27 questionnaire were compared between two groups by repeated measurement analysis of variance. Results Totally 62 patients completed the evaluation (4 cases missing), including 32 in experimental group and 30 in control group. After the intervention of hierarchical psychological nursing, the score of PHQ-9 dropped from 11. 81±3. 86 to 4. 56±1. 50 in experimental group, from 11. 97±4. 08 to 8. 57±3. 27 in control group, which presented a significant difference (comparison between groups:F=6. 331, P=0. 015;comparison at different time points:F=282. 350, P<0. 001;interaction between grouping and different time points: F=36. 899, P<0. 001). The score of GAD-7 declined from 10. 41±2. 47 to 3. 66±1. 26 in experimental group, from 10. 23± 4. 18 to 7. 40 ± 3. 59 in control group, which presented a significant difference ( comparison between groups:F=4. 365, P=0. 041; comparison at different time points: F=388. 358, P<0. 001; interaction between grouping and different time points:F=56. 517, P<0. 001). Abstract:BACKGROUND: In the contemporary healthcare environment, optimizing patient care strategies is of importance, particularly in neurosurgical environments. While traditional nursing methods have the foundation of patient care, there exists a growing recognition of the potential benefits of comprehensive nurse management. Despite this acknowledgment, there remains a gap in understanding the comparative effectiveness of comprehensive nurse management versus traditional approaches in reducing postoperative psychological stress, enhancing patient satisfaction, and promoting adherence in neurosurgical patients. OBJECTIVE: This study compares the efficacy of comprehensive nurse management against traditional methods in facilitating the postoperative recovery of neurosurgical patients. METHODS: Taking the traditional nursing management and detailed nursing management of neurosurgical patients in a municipal neurosurgical hospital from March 2021 to March 2022 as an example, the neurosurgery was divided into 50 patients in the detailed nursing management group and 50 patients in the traditional nursing management group. In the clear nursing management group, there were 50 patients, 20 male patients, with an average age of 58.7 ± 3.8 years, and 30 female patients, with an average age of 60.4 ± 4.3 years; In the traditional nursing management group, there were 50 patients, 26 male patients, with an average age of 59.7 ± 3.7 years, and 24 female patients, with an average age of 59.4 ± 3.9 years; Among the 100 patients, there were 60 cases of cerebral infarction, 25 cases of intracerebral hemorrhage and 15 cases of other neurosurgical diseases. RESULTS: Hundred neurosurgical patients were divided into two groups: comprehensive nursing management group and traditional nursing management group. The results showed that the comprehensive treatment effect of patients with detailed nursing management was better than that of the routine nursing group. At the same time, the complications were reduced, and the patient's satisfaction was higher. CONCLUSION: Through retrospective analysis and investigation of patients, this paper discusses the clinical application of a detailed nursing management model in neurosurgery, which can reduce the probability of infection and other complications and improve the quality of life and treatment effect of patients.

Analysis of prospective nursing on the functional recovery and complications in patients with lower limb fracture

Abstract:Objective To analyze the application of prospective nursing intervention on the functional recovery and complications in patients with lower limb fracture.Methods 72 patients with lower limb fracture randomized into observation group and control group with 36 patients in each group.Control group was given routine nursing while observation group was conducted prospective nursing intervention on the basis of the control group.Postoperative recovery,limb motor function and complications were compared in the two groups.Results The difference was statistically significant since the first turn over time,functional exercise time and hospitalization time of patients in the observation group were significantly lower than that in the control group(P0.05).The scores of Fugl-Meyer motor function of patients in the two groups were improved significantly,and the improvement of motor function in the observation group was significantly better than that in the control group,so the difference was statistically significant(P0.05).Swelling,lower extremity deep vein thrombosis,constipation,bedsore,pain,infection and other complications of patients in the observation group were significantly lower than that in the control group,so the difference was statistically significant(P0.05).Conclusion Prospective nursing measures for the patients with lower limb fracture can effectively improve the limb movement function and reduce the postoperative complications,so it is worthy of clinical application.

Application Effect and Prognosis of High-Quality Nursing in the Whole Process of Nursing in Lung Cancer Surgery

Abstract:Objective. To explore the application effect and prognostic benefits of whole-course high-quality nursing in lung cancer patients after surgery. Methods. Sixty patients with lung cancer who underwent surgical treatment in the Department of Respiratory Medicine from April 2020 to July 2021 were recruited and assigned to receive either conventional nursing (control group) or whole-course high-quality nursing (intervention group) using the random number table method, with 30 cases in each group. Outcome measures included self-rating anxiety scale (SAS) scores, self-rating depression scale (SDS) scores, nursing compliance, patient satisfaction, complications, and patient prognosis. Results. Patients receiving whole-course high-quality nursing showed significantly lower SAS and SDS scores versus those given conventional nursing ( P < 0.05 ). Whole-course high-quality nursing resulted in higher patient compliance versus conventional nursing ( P < 0.05 ). Patients in the intervention group were more satisfied with the nursing compared with those in the control group ( P < 0.05 ). Whole-course high-quality nursing resulted in a lower incidence of complications, postoperative recurrence, and mortality versus conventional nursing ( P < 0.05 ). Conclusion. Whole-course high-quality nursing alleviates the negative emotions of patients after lung cancer surgery, enhances patient compliance and satisfaction, and reduces the incidence of postoperative relapse and complications, which demonstrates great potential for clinical promotion.

Abstract:Lung cancer is the most common cancer in China, with the highest mortality rate. Surgery is the primary treatment for early lung cancer. However, patients with lung cancer have a heavy burden of symptoms within 3 months after surgery, which seriously affects their quality of life (QOL). The symptom management model based on the patient-reported outcome (PRO) is considered the best caregiving model. The clinical evidence about the symptom management of lung cancer within 3 months after the operation is very limited. Herein, we propose a randomized controlled trial to evaluate the PRO score-based monitoring and alert system for follow-up on psychological and physiological symptoms of lung cancer patients within 3 months after surgery and further investigate the effect of intervention measures based on this PRO score-based system.

Abstract:The present study aims to analyze the effects of breast-conserving surgery and modified radical mastectomy on operation indexes, Symptom checklist-90 scores and prognosis in patients with early breast cancer.The clinical data of 128 patients with breast cancer who were treated in our hospital from May 2015 to May 2016 were included into the analysis. These patients were divided into 2 groups, according to the different modes of operation (n = 64): control group, patients underwent modified radical mastectomy; observation group, patients underwent early breast conserving surgery. Then, the surgical indexes and prognosis were compared between these 2 groups.Intraoperative bleeding volume, incision length and hospitalization duration were better in the observation group than in the control group (P < .05). Furthermore, postoperative symptom checklist-90 scores in the observation group were better than scores before the operation, and were better than the scores in the control group (P < .05). Moreover, the incidence of postoperative complications was lower in the observation group (3.13%) than in the control group (21.88%, P < .05).Early breast-conserving surgery is more advantageous for breast cancers and results to lesser bleeding, rapid recovery, and fewer complications.

Abstract:Objective In order to better understand the relative surgical process, this work used a model-based computational analysis on the effectiveness of enhanced recovery after surgery (ERAS) in the operating room with nursing. Methods A total of 360 surgical patients in the First Affiliated Hospital, Sun Yat-sen University, from the period June 2020 to March 2021, were randomly divided into two groups, namely, observation group and control group, with 180 cases in each group. Routine nursing was used in the control group, while ERAS was implemented in the observation group from the point of view of four aspects, namely, preoperative visit, intraoperative cooperation, postoperative return visit, and psychological intervention. Results Postoperative complications, average hospital stay, nursing satisfaction, and postoperative quality of life in the observation group were significantly better than those in the control group (all p < 0.05). Conclusion The application of ERAS for surgical patients can enhance team awareness, optimize the process of cooperation, reduce surgical complications and improve nursing quality, and prognosis, and it is worth popularizing in the operating room.

[Application of Precision Nursing Based on Multidisciplinary Collaboration Model in Older Patients Undergoing Thoracoscopic Surgery for Lung Cancer]

Abstract:Objective: To examine the application effect of precision nursing strategies based on multidisciplinary collaboration model in older patients undergoing thoracoscopic surgery for lung cancer. Methods: A total of 100 patients who were admitted to our hospital for thoracoscopic surgery for lung cancer between July 2022 and March 2023 were prospectively enrolled for the study. They were assigned, with a random number table, to two groups, a control group receiving routine nursing care and an experimental group receiving nursing care based on multidisciplinary collaborative precision nursing strategies. Their lung function, anxiety and depression scores, and quality of life were assessed at three points of time, including upon admission, one week after surgery, and one month after surgery, and comparison was made between the two groups. Results: There were significant differences in forced expiratory volume in one second (FEV1) at the three time points ( F=156.787, P<0.001) and the ratio of FEV1 to forced vital capacity (FVC) (FEV1/FVC%) at the three time points ( F=25.587, P<0.001) between two groups. There were significant difference between the findings for FEV1, FEV1/FVC%, FVC, and maximum voluntary ventilation (MVV) indexes at 1 week and those at 1 month after surgery in the experimental group ( P<0.05). After the surgery, the pulmonary function of the experimental group was better than that of the control group. The anxiety and depression scores of the experimental group were lower than those of the control group, with the difference being statistically significant ( P<0.05), which suggested that the experimental group showed improvement in anxiety and depression in comparison with the control group. Regarding the quality of life, there were significant differences between the two groups in the scores for the functional dimension ( F=109.798, P<0.001), the symptom dimension ( F=106.936, P<0.001), other items ( F=78.798, P<0.001), and overall health dimensions ( F=174.307, P<0.001). At 1 week and 1 month after surgery, the experimental group had higher scores for the functional dimension and lower scores for the symptom dimension than the control group did, with the differences being statistically significant ( P<0.05). The overall health status of the experimental group was better than that of the control group. Conclusion: Precision nursing strategies based on multidisciplinary collaboration model can effectively help improve the lung function, the mood, and the quality of life of patients in the short term, showing considerable promise for wide clinical application.

Abstract:To analyze the effect of nursing measures based on self-efficacy theory on the state self-esteem of breast cancer patients. 110 breast cancer patients who were treated in our hospital from October 2018 to October 2019 were randomly divided into control group and observation group. The control group was given routine nursing measures, and the observation group was given nursing measures under the guidance of self-efficacy theory. Before operation, 1 week after operation and 3 months after operation, the general data of the two groups before and after treatment were recorded. The self-efficacy level and self-esteem level of the patients before and after treatment were assessed by the self-efficacy scale (GSEs) and state self-esteem scale (SSEs). The compliance of functional exercise and shoulder joint activity (ROM) of the two groups were compared, and the physical status of the two groups were analyzed. To analyze the effect of nursing measures based on self-efficacy theory on the state self-esteem of breast cancer patients. The GSEs score of the two groups increased with the time, and there was no significant difference between the two groups before operation (P > 0.05). After 1 week and 3 months, the GSEs score of the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group (P < 0.05). The compliance evaluation table of functional exercise in the two groups increased with the time, and the compliance evaluation table of functional exercise in the observation group was significantly higher than that in the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05). ROM of the two groups increased with time, and ROM of the observation group was significantly better than that of the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05). The self-esteem level of the two groups increased with time, and the self-esteem level of the observation group was significantly higherthan that of the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05). The nursing measures under tne guidance of self-efficacy theory can help patients to complete functionalexercise, improve theirquality of life, improve their self-esteem level, a nd can be widely used in clinical practice.

Abstract:Background: Breast-conserving surgery is an important treatment for breast cancer, which not only eradicates the disease, but also protects the integrity of the breast, however, postoperative nausea and vomiting often bother patients. Objective: This study examines the effects of evidence-based nursing practices on nausea and vomiting in patients after breast-conserving surgery, with the aim of providing new perspectives for clinical nursing practice. Methods: One hundred and sixty patients who underwent breast-conserving surgery from January 2023 to December 2023 in Fudan University Shanghai Cancer Center were enrolled. The patients were divided into an intervention group (evidence-based nursing group) and a control group (conventional nursing group) using the random number table method, both groups comprised 80 patients. The control group used conventional nursing methods, and the intervention group added evidence-based nursing intervention on this basis. Comparative analysis focused on the incidence of nausea and vomiting, quality of life metrics, and postoperative satisfaction. Results: In the intervention group, notably lower incidence rates of postoperative nausea and vomiting were observed compared to the control group within both the 0-24 hour and 24-48-hour postoperative periods (P< 0.05). Furthermore, the intervention group exhibited significantly higher scores across all five dimensions as well as the overall score of the FACT-B scale in comparison to the control group (P< 0.05), accompanied by heightened satisfaction with the nursing staff. Conclusion: This study demonstrated the positive clinical intervention effects of evidence-based nursing measures and emphasized their importance in improving postoperative nausea and vomiting and quality of life. Future studies are expected to incorporate evidence-based nursing practices into nursing care to improve patient recovery and overall quality of care.

Abstract:Objective: To evaluate the effect of the case management model on patients operated for pancreatic cancer. Methods: 90 pancreatic cancer surgery patients admitted to the hospital between January 2022 and June 2023 were selected and grouped by randomized numerical table. For 45 cases in the observation group, case management mode was adopted, and for 45 cases in the intervention group, conventional nursing care was chosen to compare the indexes of gastrointestinal function recovery. Results: The recovery time of all gastrointestinal functions of the observation group was shorter than that of the intervention group; after nursing, the psychological state score of the observation group was lower than that of the intervention group, the self-efficacy score was higher than that of the intervention group and the rate of complications was lower than that of the intervention group (P < 0.05). Conclusion: The case management model can promote the recovery of gastrointestinal function in patients with pancreatic cancer surgery and its nursing feasibility is high.
Application Experience of Medical Network Platform in the Continuing Care of Patients Undergoing Day Surgery in the Plastic and Aesthetic Department of Outpatient

Abstract:Objective: To research the benefits of using a medical network platform for patients receiving day surgery in the outpatient plastic and cosmetic department. Methods: During the study period, 86 patients (day surgery in the plastic and aesthetic Department) were selected as the observation objects, and the treatment period was from August 2021 to August 2022. A retrospective analysis was conducted on the relevant customer data of the aforementioned patients. The patients were divided into two groups using the random number table method, with 43 individuals in each group. The controlling group consisted of the patients who got traditional nursing care, while the observational group consisted of the patients who engaged in continual nursing based on the medical network platform. The differences in patient quality of life, changes in psychological and emotional condition, and awareness of knowledge, contentment, and compliance with postoperative nursing between the two groups were also contrasted. Results: Patients in the observational group reported more nursing contentment than those in the control group (P < .001). Compared to the control group, the observational group's patient compliance was higher (P = .019). The awareness of nursing knowledge was analyzed. The awareness rates of dressing and stitching time, wound self-observation nursing, follow-up time and process, rest and signs, pain nursing, and diet nursing of patients in the observational group were higher than those in the control group (P = .001, .009, .001, .001, .017, .001). Following nursing, patients in the observational group had lower Self-rating Anxiety Scale (SAS) and Self-rating Depression Scale (SDS) grades than patients in the controlling group (P < .001). Those in the observational group had greater grades for physical function, physical pain, social function, vitality, general health, psychological health, physical wellbeing, and psychological function than patients in the control group (P < .001). Conclusion: The effects of continuing nursing based on the medical network platform among patients with day surgery in the plastic and aesthetic department of outpatient are significant, and the effects are ideal in improving patients' psychological and emotional state, compliance, and quality of life, with reference application value.

Abstract:Objective To evaluate the effect of a nurse-led case management intervention on arm function and uncertainty for women with breast cancer.Methods 90 women with breast cancer were divided into the intervention group and the control group according to their nurses,with 45 patients in each group.All participants were followed six months after surgery.The intervention group attended a 6-month nurse-led case management program,while the control group received the routine care and follow-up only.Questionnaires on arm function and uncertainty were administered 1 month,3 months and 6months after the surgery respectively.Score changes were compared by repeated-measure ANOVA and MANOVA.Results The arm function of the intervention group was better than the control group,except for the 10th day after the operation,there were significant differences at other three time points.The disease uncertainty level of the intervention group was better than that of the control group,except for the dimension of unpredictability,there were evident differences in other dimensions at other three time points.Conclusions The nurse-led case management intervention could improve arm function recovery and decrease the uncertainty to disease of breast cancer survivors.
