Abstract:Innovative therapeutic protocols to the rapidly spreading coronavirus disease (COVID19) epidemic is highly required all across the world. As demonstrated by clinical studies, Favipiravir (FVP) and Remdesivir (REM) are new antiviral medicines that are effective against COVID-19. REM is the first FDA approved antiviral medicine against COVID-19. In addition to antivirals, corticosteroids such as dexamethasone (DEX), and anticoagulants such as apixaban (PX) are used in multidrug combinations protocols. This work develops and validates simple and selective screening of the four medicines of COVID -19 therapeutic protocol. FVP, REM, DEX, and PX as internal standard in human plasma using UPLC method by C18 column and methanol, acetonitrile, and water acidified by orthophosphate (pH = 4) in a ratio of (15: 35: 50, by volume) as an eluate flowing at 0.3 mL/min. The eluent was detected at 240 nm. The method was linear over (0.1-10 μg/mL) for each of FVP, REM, and DEX. The validation of the UPLC method was assessed in accordance with FDA guidelines. The method can detect as low as down to 0.1 μg/mL for all. The recoveries of the drugs in spiked human plasma ranged from 97.67 to 102.98 percent. Method accuracy and precision were assessed and the drugs showed good stability. The method was proven to be green to the environment after greenness checking by greenness profile and Eco-Scale tool.

Abstract:The global spread of COVID-19 disease has increased the demand for new therapeutic approaches. The clinical studies revealed that remdesivir and molnupiravir have been effective against COVID-19. Remdesivir (REM) is the first FDA-approved antiviral drug for COVID-19, while molnupiravir is the first oral antiviral drug for SARS-CoV-2 infections. In addition to antivirals, anticoagulants such as apixaban (APX) and antibiotics such as levofloxacin (LVF) are also included in the treatment protocols. This study suggests and validates a rapid and selective method for the determination of the four drugs involved in the COVID-19 treatment protocol. The simultaneous separation and determination of REM, MLP, LVF, and APX in human plasma were achieved using UPLC with a fluorophenyl column and a mobile phase composed of acetonitrile and water acidified with formic acid (pH = 3) in the ratio of 45: 55, v/v, at a flow rate of 0.1 mL/min. The PDA detector was adjusted at 254 nm. The method could simultaneously determine the four drugs in a single run in less than 6 min. The method exhibited linearity over the concentration ranges of 1.0–15.0 μg/mL, 0.1–5.0 μg/mL, 0.1–2.0 μg /mL, and 0.1–5.0 μg/mL, for LVF, MLP, APX and REM, respectively. The proposed method was validated following the International Council on Harmonization Q2(R1) guidelines and the findings were compared statistically to previously reported methods. The recovery rates of the drugs from spiked human plasma were satisfactory. The greenness of the suggested method was evaluated using three metrics, namely, Analytical Eco-scale, Green Analytical Procedure Index (GAPI) metric, and the Analytical GREEnness measure approach (AGREE).

Abstract:Molnupiravir, dexamethasone, ertapenem, and remdesivir are among the most frequently co-prescribed drugs used for COVID-19 virus treatment. For the first time, a simple isocratic reversed phase-high performance liquid chromatographic (RP-HPLC) method employing a photodiode array detector has been developed and validated for their simultaneous determination in spiked human plasma using rivaroxaban as an internal standard by the aid of quality by design and in accordance with the criteria of green chemistry. The separation was carried out utilizing a BDS Hypersil ® C18 column (300 × 4.6 mm), 5 μm particle size as the stationary phase using mobile phase consisted of methanol: acidified water; adjusted at pH 4.0 with 0.1 M orthophosphoric acid; with ratio (70:30, v:v ) delivered at flow rate 0.6 mL/min, temperature adjusted at 20 °C, photodiode array detector maintained at 240 nm. The method was validated according to bioanalytical FDA guidelines with respect to linearity, accuracy, precision, selectivity, recovery, and stability. The method was found to be linear in the range of 4.00–120.00 μg/mL for molnupiravir, 10.00–140.00 μg/mL for dexamethasone, 10.00–160.00 μg/mL for ertapenem and 4.00–120.00 μg/mL for remdesivir. It is worth mentioning that the previously mentioned ranges covered the C max of the drugs. Finally, the green analytical score has been evaluated, and it was found to be an excellent green analytical method based on analytical eco-scale system penalty points. Moreover, it was assessed by analytical GREEnness metric approach and green analytical procedure index tool.

Abstract:Rivaroxaban is a direct oral anticoagulant medication that has been found to be beneficial for the management of thromboembolic events linked to the Corona virus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic, which has resulted in more than 6 million deaths worldwide. Hence, a sensitive, selective, and green bioanalytically validated method was developed using RP-HPLC coupled with DAD for the simultaneous determination of rivaroxaban in human plasma, and two co-administered drugs, namely, paracetamol, an analgesic, and ceftriaxone, an antibiotic, that are used in the management of COVID-19. An Exsil 100 ODS C18 column (250 × 4.6 mm, 5 μm) was used as the stationary phase, and acetonitrile: water: methanol at a ratio of 60:30:10 (v/v/v) was used in isocratic mode as the mobile phase with a flow rate of 0.7 ml/min. The method was validated over a concentration range of 0.1–10.0 μg/mL for rivaroxaban, and 1.0–15.0 μg/mL for paracetamol and ceftriaxone. The lower limits of detection (LLODs) were found to be 0.03, 0.32, and 0.32 μg/ml for rivaroxaban, paracetamol, and ceftriaxone, respectively. Moreover, the lower limits of quantitation (LLOQs) were found to be 0.1, 0.96, and 0.98 μg/ml. The developed method showed excellent accuracy and precision for the determination of the aforementioned drugs. Four metrics were used to evaluate the greenness of the developed method. The results revealed that the suggested method is green, with values of 81 and 0.6 for the analytical eco-scale and analytical greenness assessment (AGREE), respectively.

Abstract:This study presents a novel liquid chromatography–tandem mass spectrometry (LC–MS/MS) method for quantifying cabotegravir (CAB) in rat plasma. A novel, sensitive, and rapid LC‐MS/MS method has been developed and validated. Furthermore, protein precipitation technique allowed us to lowered the limit of quantification (LOQ) to nanogram levels, allowing detection of smaller CAB amounts in plasma samples. A review of scientific literature reveals that this method is superior than published methods in terms of runtime, sensitivity, wide linearity, and cost, using LC–MS/MS to quantify CAB in biological samples. CAB reached its maximum concentration (Cmax) of 78.401 μg/mL in rat plasma at 1.50 h (Tmax). Linearity was evaluated across 0.05–1000 μg/mL for CAB using five calibration curves with at least nine standards each with r2 > 0.9997. The intra‐ and inter‐day precision and accuracy results were below 15% and acceptable as per Food and Drug Administration (FDA) guidelines. Stability of compounds were established in a battery of stability studies, that is, benchtop, autosampler, and long‐term storage stability as well as freeze thaw cycles. The validated method can be used as a routine method to support pharmacokinetic studies.

Core shell stationary phase for a novel separation of some COVID-19 used drugs by UPLC-MS/MS Method: Study of grapefruit consumption impact on their pharmacokinetics in rats

Abstract:A sensitive and selective UPLC-MS/MS method was developed for the synchronized determination of four drugs used in severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2), namely, azithromycin, apixaban, dexamethasone, and favipiravir in rat plasma. using a Poroshell 120 EC-C18 column (50 mm × 4.6 mm, 2.7 m) with a high-resolution ESI tandem mass spectrometer detection with multiple reaction monitoring. We used an Agilent Poroshell column, which is characterized by a stationary phase based on non-porous core particles. With a remarkable improvement in the number of theoretical plates and low column backpressure. In addition, the developed method was employed in studying the potential food-drug interaction of grapefruit juice (GFJ) with the selected drugs which affects their pharmacokinetics in rats. The LC-MS/MS operated in positive and negative ionization mode using two internal standards: moxifloxacin and chlorthalidone, respectively. Liquid- liquid extraction of the cited drugs from rat plasma was accomplished using diethyl ether: dichloromethane (70:30, v/v). The analytes were separated using methanol: 0.1 % formic acid in water (95: 5, v/v) as a mobile phase in isocratic mode of elution pumped at a flow rate of 0.3 mL/min. A detailed validation of the bio-analytical method was performed in accordance with US-FDA and EMA guidelines. Concerning the in vivo pharmacokinetic study, the statistical significance between the results of the test groups receiving GFJ along with the cited drugs and the control group was assessed demonstrating that GFJ increased the plasma concentration of azithromycin, apixaban, and dexamethasone. Accordingly, this food-drug interaction requires cautious ingestion of GFJ in patients using (SARS-CoV-2) medications as it can produce negative effects in the safety of the drug therapy. A potential drug-drug interaction is also suggested between those medications requiring a suitable dose adjustment.

Abstract:The combined prescriptions of nirmatrelvir/ritonavir and other drugs are limited due to potential drug-drug interactions, so therapeutic drug monitoring (TDM) becomes particularly important. In this study, a liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS) method was established for determination of the nirmatrelvir/ritonavir in plasma of patients with COVID-19, providing technical and theoretical support for the TDM. Plasma samples were processed by protein precipitation using acetonitrile, and analytes were separated on an Agilent Poroshell 120 SB-C18 (2.1 × 75 mm, 2.7 μm) column at 35°C. Acetonitrile and 0.1% formic acid in water (52 : 48) were utilized as the mobile phases at a flow rate of 0.3 mL/min. In the multiple reaction monitoring (MRM) mode, nirmatrelvir and ritonavir were monitored using precursor/product ions: m/z 500.2/110.1 and 721.3/296.1, respectively, with selinexor as the internal standard. The linear range of both analytes was 2.0 ng/mL to 5000 ng/mL with good inter- and intraday precision and accuracy, and the recovery was 92.0%–107% for nirmatrelvir and 85.7%–106% for ritonavir. Finally, this method was successfully applied to monitor the exposure levels of nirmatrelvir/ritonavir in plasma samples from hemodialysis patients.

Development and validation of a paper spray mass spectrometry method for the rapid quantitation of remdesivir and its active metabolite, GS-441524, in human plasma

Abstract:Introduction: Remdesivir (GS-5734) is a nucleoside analog prodrug with antiviral activity against several single-stranded RNA viruses, including the novel severe respiratory distress syndrome virus 2 (SARS-CoV-2). It is currently the only FDA-approved antiviral agent for the treatment of individuals with COVID-19 caused by SARS-CoV-2. However, remdesivir pharmacokinetics/pharmacodynamics (PK/PD) and toxicity data in humans are extremely limited. It is imperative that precise analytical methods for the quantification of remdesivir and its active metabolite, GS-441524, are developed for use in further studies. We report, herein, the first validated anti-viral paper spray-mass spectrometry (PS-MS/MS) assay for the quantification of remdesivir and GS-441524 in human plasma. We seek to highlight the utility of PS-MS/MS technology and automation advancements for its potential future use in clinical research and the clinical laboratory setting. Methods: Calibration curves for remdesivir and GS-441524 were created utilizing seven plasma-based calibrants of varying concentrations and two isotopic internal standards of set concentrations. Four plasma-based quality controls were prepared in a similar fashion to the calibrants and utilized for validation. No sample preparation was needed. Briefly, plasma samples were spotted on a paper substrate contained within pre-manufactured plastic cassette plates, and the spots were dried for 1 h. The samples were then analyzed directly for 1.2 min utilizing PS-MS/MS. All experiments were performed on a Thermo Scientific Altis triple quadrupole mass spectrometer utilizing automated technology. Results: The calibration ranges were 20 - 5000 and 100 - 25000 ng/mL for remdesivir and GS-441524, respectively. The calibration curves for the two antiviral agents showed excellent linearity (average R2 = 0.99-1.00). The inter- and intra-day precision (%CV) across validation runs at four QC levels for both analytes was less than 11.2% and accuracy (%bias) was within ± 15%. Plasma calibrant stability was assessed and degradation for the 4 °C and room temperature samples were seen beginning at Day 7. The plasma calibrants were stable at -20 °C. No interference, matrix effects, or carryover was discovered during the validation process. Conclusions: PS-MS/MS represents a useful methodology for rapidly quantifying remdesivir and GS-441524, which may be useful for clinical PK/PD, therapeutic drug monitoring (TDM), and toxicity assessment, particularly during the current COVID-19 pandemic and future viral outbreaks.

Abstract:MPI8, a peptidyl aldehyde, is a potent antiviral agent against coronavirus. Due to unique tri-peptide bonds and the formyl functional group, the bioassay of MPI8 in plasma was challenged by a strong interference from water MPI8. Using QTOF LC-MS/MS, we identified MPI8•H2O as the major interference form that co-existed with MPI8 in aqueous and biological media. To avoid the resolution of MPI8 and MPI8•H2O observed on reverse phase columns, we found that a Kinetex hydrophilic interaction liquid chromatography (HILIC) column provided co-elution of both MPI8 and MPI8•H2O with a good single chromatographic peak and column retention of MPI8 which is suitable for quantification. Thus, a sensitive, specific, and reproducible LC-MS/MS method for the quantification of MPI8 in rat plasma was developed and validated using a triple QUAD LC-MS/MS. The chromatographic separation was achieved on a Kinetex HILIC column with a flow rate of 0.4 mL/min under gradient elution. The calibration curves were linear (r2 > 0.99) over MPI8 concentrations from 0.5–500 ng/mL. The accuracy and precision are within acceptable guidance levels. The mean matrix effect and recovery were 139% and 73%, respectively. No significant degradation of MPI8 occurred under the experimental conditions. The method was successfully applied to a pharmacokinetic study of MPI8 after administration of MPI8 sulfonate in rats.

Abstract:The purpose of the experiment was mainly to establish and verify a precise and straightforward ultra-performance liquid chromatography tandem mass spectrometry (UPLC-MS/MS) approach for simultaneously analyzing the concentration levels of amiodarone, dronedarone, and their metabolites (desethylamiodarone and desbutyldronedarone) in the plasma of Sprague-Dawley (SD) rats and to investigate the pharmacokinetics of all analytes in SD rats. After rapid protein precipitation by using acetonitrile, we accomplished the chromatographic separation of amiodarone, desethylamiodarone, dronedarone, desbutyldronedarone and ivabradine (internal standard, IS) by using Acquity BEH C18 column and detected through a mass spectrometer with Xevo TQ-S triple quadrupole tandem, choosing the positive ion mode. The approach showed wonderful linearity, and the range of calibration curve for amiodarone was 1-200 ng/mL, desethylamiodarone was 0.1-20 ng/mL, dronedarone was 0.5-100 ng/mL, and desbutyldronedarone was 0.25-50 ng/mL, respectively. For lower limit of quantification (LLOQ), the current method of UPLC-MS/MS can achieve values of 1.0 ng/mL for amiodarone, 0.1 ng/mL for desethylamiodarone, 0.5 ng/mL for dronedarone, and 0.25 ng/mL for desbutyldronedarone, respectively. The accuracy of intra-day and inter-day of all analytes was between -14.8% to 10.9%, while the precision was ≤13.3%. For each substance, the recovery rate was > 82.1%, besides, obvious matrix effect was not found. In all conditions, the stability of all analytes was comfirmed to the plasma sample quantification. In addition, the method of UPLC-MS/MS we developed could also be applied to measure the pharmacokinetic characteristics including amiodarone, desethylamiodarone, dronedarone, and desbutyldronedarone in the plasma of SD rats.

Is Biomass Accumulation in Forests an Option to Prevent Climate Change Induced Increases in Nitrate Concentrations in the North German Lowland

Abstract:The North German Lowland is a region with locally high nitrate (NO3−) concentrations in seepage water, inducing an increased susceptibility to the effects of climate change. The future risk of rising NO3− concentrations in seepage water from forests was quantified for four regions in the North German Lowland using climate projections and a modelling system comprising submodels for forest stand development (WaldPlaner), water budgets (WaSiM-ETH), and biogeochemical element cycles (VSD+). The simulations for the period from 1990 to 2070 included three different forest management scenarios (reference, biodiversity, and climate protection) and showed a general decrease in groundwater recharge which could hardly be influenced by any of the management options. The simulated soil organic matter stocks adequately represented their past increase as expected from the National Forest Soil Inventory (NFSI), but also showed a future decline under climate change conditions which leads to higher organic matter decomposition and a long-lasting increase of NO3− leaching from forest soils. While the climate protection oriented scenario shows the highest increase in NO3− concentrations during the projection period until 2070, the biodiversity scenario kept NO3− concentrations in seepage water below the legal thresholds in three of four selected model regions.
A sustainable and green HPLC-PDA technique for the simultaneous estimation of Post-COVID-19 syndrome co-administered drugs with greenness and whiteness assessment

Abstract:COVID-19 has been a growing global concern in the past four years. Several syndromes associated with this multi-organ viral infection have been observed since the outbreak. According to estimates, 10–15% of people with SARS-CoV- infection may have post-COVID-19 syndrome. Even months after infection, common residual signs and symptoms include myalgia, exhaustion, shortness of breath, rapid heartbeat, stroke, and memory and cognitive impairment which can negatively affect survivors' quality of life and may consequently lead to their death. Therefore, it is necessary to think about potential therapy options for dealing with both short and long-term impacts. Paracetamol (a common analgesic and antipyretic) and Dexketoprofen Trometamol (a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug) are used together to relieve post-COVID symptoms like myalgia (muscle pain) and headache. Additionally, to prevent thrombotic events, Rivaroxaban is recommended for 35 days following discharge. Thus an eco-friendly HPLC-DAD technique was developed for simultaneous quantification of Paracetamol, Dexketoprofen Trometamol, and Rivaroxaban which are co-administered for treatment of post-COVID-19 syndrome. The suggested method was found to be linear in the concentration ranges of 3.00–45.00 μg/mL, 0.5–50.00 μg/mL, and 0.15–20.00 μg/mL, and a limit of detection down to 0.531 μg/mL, 0.095 μg/mL and 0.047 μg/mL for Paracetamol, Dexketoprofen Trometamol and Rivaroxaban, respectively. This method was effectively used to quantify the studied drugs in their bulk powder and spiked human plasma with high percentage recoveries (96.55–99.46%). The suggested approach was validated per International Conference on Harmonization (ICH) requirements and found to be within the acceptable ranges. The method was developed using Green Analytical Chemistry (GAC) principles, with the solvents used and run time having a significant effect on the method's greenness. "Non-toxic" ethanol served as the organic modifier in the mobile phase, moreover, the total run time was 12 min making it suitable for the routine analysis of the mentioned drugs in plasma samples. To get a full image of the method's greenness profile; two most recent greenness assessment tools, the Green Analytical Procedure Index (GAPI), and the Analytical GREEnness metric (AGREE), were employed, with White Analytical Chemistry (WAC) principles proving its environmental safety.

Abstract:Theoretical support, but little empirical evidence confirms recurrent abdominal pain (RAP) as a psychosomatic response of children to stressors in their environment. The differences between children with and without RAP in appraising their own stressors and coping abilities were examined. Of 250 8-12 year olds, 25 (10%) experienced recurrent abdominal pain. An asymptomatic comparison group consisted of 25 children matched for age and gender with the RAP group. Mean total stress scores were significantly higher in the RAP group than the comparison group. Mean coping scores were lower in the RAP group, but not statistically significant. Differences in specific stressors and coping strategies between groups were examined. Prevention and treatment of psychosomatic symptoms requires changing the stressor or changing the methods that children use to cope with stressors that cannot be changed.

Abstract:Introduction: The aim of the present study was to establish a simple method for the determination of riluzole in human plasma by ultraperformance liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (UPLC-MS/MS) and apply it for the determination of riluzole in amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) patients. Methods: Samples were prepared by protein precipitation and were then gradient-eluted on a column of ACQUITY UPLC ® HSS T3 by using 0.1% formic acid acetonitrile and 0.1% formic acid water as the mobile phase. Detection was performed on a Xevo TQ-S tandem mass spectrometer in the multiple-reaction monitoring mode using positive electrospray ionization. Validation was performed in the range of 5–800 ng/mL. Results and discussion: Three batches of precision accuracy, selectivity, matrix effects, extraction recovery, and stability were also verified and met the requirements. The results showed that the method was reliable and successfully applied to the pharmacokinetics study of riluzole in Chinese amyotrophic lateral sclerosis patients. Meanwhile, in comparison with other prior published methods, our method has the advantages of simple sample preparation, relatively short running time, and small plasma sample consumption, which represented a high-throughput sample determination potential.

Validation of the HPLC–PDA method for detection of eluxadoline and rifaximin in rat plasma and application in a pharmacokinetic study

Abstract:Abstract Background A precise, simple, accurate, and quick HPLC–PDA method for the determination of eluxadoline and rifaximin in rat plasma was developed and validated in this study. In this method, Loperamide hydrochloride was used as the internal standard and plasma samples were prepared using a liquid–liquid extraction technique for which acetonitrile was a solvent. An Agilent Symmetry C8 column (5 μm, 250 mm × 4.6 mm) at 283 nm and isocratic elution using HPLC grade acetonitrile and 7 mM TEA (pH 2.5) with a ratio of (40: 60 v/v) was used as a mobile phase and the flow rate employed was 1 mL min −1 . A satisfactory chromatographic separation was accomplished. Results An HPLC–PDA method for the determination of eluxadoline and rifaximin with retention times of 3.06 and 7.82 min, respectively, was developed. The calibration curves appear linear for both eluxadoline and rifaximin in the range of 5–200 ng mL −1 and 10–400 ng mL −1 , and the corresponding correlation coefficient values were found to be 0.9999 and 0.9998 respectively. Lower limits of quantification (LLOQ) for eluxadoline and rifaximin were evaluated to be 5.0 ng mL −1 and 10.0 ng mL −1 , respectively. The accuracy and precision results in all validation experiments were within the acceptance limits of FDA guidelines. Conclusion The developed HPLC–PDA approach was fully validated to meet the USFDA guidelines for bioanalytical method validation in terms of precision, accuracy, and stability. The presented approach could be beneficial for the determination of ELX and RFX in rat plasma, according to validation parameters. This is one of the efficient method to study the pharmacokinetics of ELX and RFX in rats. Graphical abstract

Abstract:A sensitive, reproducible, robust, high-throughput ultra-performance liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (UPLC-MS/MS) method was developed and validated for the simultaneous quantification of fexofenadine and olmesartan in human serum. Samples (50 μL) undergo protein precipitation prior to UPLC-MS/MS analysis. The analytes were separated using an Acquity BEH C18 column (2.1 mm × 50 mm, 1.7 μm) at a flow rate of 0.5 mL/min using a gradient elution with a total run time of 4 min. The analytes were detected in positive ion mode and selected reaction monitoring (SRM) was used for quantitation. The standard curve concentration range was 1.0-500.0 ng/mL for both analytes and each analyte showed excellent linearity with correlation coefficients (R 2 > 0.99). The intra- and inter-day accuracy and precision were ±15% for each analyte, and excellent recovery was demonstrated (93% to 98%) for both analytes. The method is well suited for high-throughput quantitative determination of fexofenadine and olmesartan simultaneously and was successfully applied to an in vivo pharmacokinetic and transporter phenotyping study in humans.

Abstract:A simple, easy to use and efficient method was described for simultaneous determination of ten cardiovascular drugs with a broad range of physicochemical properties in rat plasma via online solid phase extraction (online SPE) and high-performance liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (HPLC-MS/MS). Following a simple centrifugation step, a 10 mL aliquot of the plasma sample was injected directly onto the HPLC system. The LiChrospher (R) RP-18 ADS (25 mm x 4 mm, 25 mu m, Merck) cartridge was washed with 10 mM ammonium acetate buffer (pH 9.5) for 1 min, after which time the analytes were removed by back-flushing directly onto the analytical column (Acclaim 120 C18 column, 150 mm x 4.6 mm, 5 mu m) with gradient elution using acetonitrile-10 mM ammonium acetate buffer (pH 3.5) as mobile phase. The flow rate through both columns was 1 mL min(-1), and the analytes were quantified using a triple-quadrupole tandem mass spectrometer in multiple-reaction monitoring mode. Linear calibration curves were obtained over the range of 0.2-100 ng mL(-1), and the method limits ranged from 0.2 ng mL(-1) to 1 ng mL(-1) which is sensitive enough for clinical drug monitoring. The intra-and inter-day precisions were in the range of 0.20-2.32%, and the accuracies were between 93.33% and 114.60%. Excellent recoveries from plasma were achieved with a range from 83.52% to 107.38%. The procedure was easier to execute and required less sample handling than methods previously described in the literature. This easy to use and high-throughput method with direct injection of plasma samples for the analysis of multiple cardiovascular drugs may provide a practical solution for tailoring drug dosage in a rational manner to rapidly achieve optimal efficacy and safety of medication.
