Abstract:Pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) is diagnosed as a sustained elevation of pulmonary arterial pressure to more than 25 mm Hg at rest or to more than 30 mm Hg with exercise. PAH is an intrinsic disease of the pulmonary vascular smooth muscle and endothelial cells in association with plexiform lesions, medial thickening, concentric laminar intimal fibrosis and thrombotic lesions. Pulmonary vascular remodeling is the characteristic pathological change of PAH. The pathogenesis of PAH has been studied at the level of smooth muscle and endothelial cells. Existing research does not adequately explain susceptibility to the disease, and recent evidence reveals that epigenetic alterations may be involved in PAH. Epigenetics refers to all heritable changes in phenotype or in gene expression states, including chromatin remodeling, DNA methylation, histone modification and RNA interference, which are not involved in the DNA sequence itself. This review will focus on recent advances in epigenetics related to PAH, including epigenetic changes of superoxide dismutase, endothelial nitric oxide synthase and the bone morphogenetic protein signaling pathway. This will provide new insight for improved treatment and prevention of PAH. Future work aimed at specific epigenetic treatments may prove to be an effective therapy for patients with PAH.
Spermiogenesis in the Hagfish Eptatretus burgeri (Agnatha)

Abstract:The fine structure of spermatid differentiation in a primitive vertebrate, the hagfish, whose spermatozoa bear acrosomes, was investigated. In early round spermatids, the acrosomal vesicles were spherical and located in a shallow nuclear indentation, flanked by the plasma and the nuclear membranes. The vesicle underwent a transition through lens-shaped and cap-shaped stages until it attained the shape of a bell in mature spermatozoa. Electron-dense acrosomal material that appeared as deposits in three portions of the vesicle finally joined in the center region at a late stage. Condensation of chromatin occurred in the anterior region of the nucleus. During transformation of the spermatids, many regularly spaced microtubules appeared beneath the plasma membrane except in the anteriormost region of the cell. The microtubules in a single alignment lay parallel to one another and encased the nucleus diagonally. During an early stage, the centrioles changed their orientation from perpendicular to longitudinal and rotated to become parallel to the long axis of the nucleus. Thus, the flagellum lay nearly straight along the cell axis. A cytoplasmic canal appeared transiently during the early stage. A droplet of cytoplasm was eliminated after descending along the flagella. The features of spermiogenesis in hagfish, which lies between invertebrates and vertebrates, are compared with those of other animals.

Abstract:Purpose of review: LDL receptor-related protein 1 (LRP1) is a multifunctional protein with endocytic and signal transduction properties due to its interaction with numerous extracellular ligands and intracellular proteins. This brief review highlights key developments in identifying novel functions of LRP1 in liver, lung, and the central nervous system in disease pathogenesis. Recent findings: In hepatocytes, LRP1 complexes with phosphatidylinositol 4-phosphate 5-kinase-1 and its related protein to maintain intracellular levels of phosphatidylinositol (4,5) bisphosphate and preserve lysosome and mitochondria integrity. In contrast, in smooth muscle cells, macrophages, and endothelial cells, LRP1 interacts with various different extracellular ligands and intracellular proteins in a tissue-dependent and microenvironment-dependent manner to either enhance or suppress inflammation, disease progression or resolution. Similarly, LRP1 expression in astrocytes and oligodendrocyte progenitor cells regulates cell differentiation and maturation in a developmental-dependent manner to modulate neurogenesis, gliogenesis, and white matter repair after injury. Summary: LRP1 modulates metabolic disease manifestation, inflammation, and differentiation in a cell-dependent, time-dependent, and tissue-dependent manner. Whether LRP1 expression is protective or pathogenic is dependent on its interaction with specific ligands and intracellular proteins, which in turn is dependent on the cell type and the microenvironment where these cells reside.

Abstract:4-DAMP mustard (N-2-chloroethyl)-4-piperidinyl diphenylacetate) has been shown to selectively and irreversibly inhibit muscarinic receptors. In an attempt to increase the rate of formation and peak concentration of the reactive intermediate, an analog [N-(2-bromoethyl)-4-piperidinyl diphenylacetate (4-DAMP bromo mustard)] was synthesized and the molecular formula confirmed by mass analysis. The 4-DAMP bromo mustard was shown to cyclize in phosphate buffer (pH 7.4) to the corresponding aziridinium ion with a first-order rate constant (k1) of 0.071 min-1 at 0 degrees C. At 25 degrees C and 37 degrees C, the formation of the aziridinium ion was nearly instantaneous (100% cyclized within 15 sec) at neutral pH. The rate constants (k2) for the hydrolysis of the aziridinium ion at 25 degrees C and 37 degrees C (pH 7.4) were 0.0027 and 0.010 min-1, respectively, in excellent agreement with the published rate constants for the hydrolysis of the aziridinium ion formed from 4-DAMP mustard. In vivo treatment with 4-DAMP bromo mustard in rats resulted in irreversible inhibition of muscarinic receptor binding in peripheral, but not central nervous system, tissues, suggesting that the quickly formed aziridinium ion does not penetrate the blood-brain barrier.

Abstract:<p>Interactions between vascular smooth muscle cells (VSMCs), endothelial cells (ECs), pericytes (PCs) and macrophages (MФ), the major components of blood vessels, play a crucial role in maintaining vascular structural and functional homeostasis. Low-density lipoprotein (LDL) receptor-related protein-1 (LRP1), a transmembrane receptor protein belonging to the LDL receptor family, plays multifunctional roles in maintaining endocytosis, homeostasis, and signal transduction. Accumulating evidence suggests that LRP1 modulates vascular homeostasis mainly by regulating vasoactive substances and specific intracellular signaling pathways, including the plasminogen activator inhibitor 1 (PAI-1) signaling pathway, platelet-derived growth factor (PDGF) signaling pathway, transforming growth factor-β (TGF-β) signaling pathway and vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) signaling pathway. The aim of the present review is to focus on recent advances in the discovery and mechanism of vascular homeostasis regulated by LRP1-dependent signaling pathways. These recent discoveries expand our understanding of the mechanisms controlling LRP1 as a target for studies on vascular complications.</p>

KLF6 in Pulmonary Hypertension: The Dual Role of Friend and Foe

Abstract:Background: Pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) is a severe lung condition with an unmet clinical need. Endothelial damage is followed by excessive repair and narrowing of lung arteries, but the mechanisms are unclear. Methods: We investigated the role of Kruppel-like transcription factor 6 (KLF6), known for its involvement in tissue injury response and cancer onset, in PAH through functional and expression analyses of human pulmonary artery endothelial cells (HPAECs) and PAH lung tissues. KLF6 activation patterns and transcriptional programs were compared with those regulated by KLF2 and KLF4, previously linked to PAH. Results: KLF6 expression increased due to hypoxic and inflammatory triggers in early rodent PAH. KLF6 overexpression improved endothelial survival and induced angiogenesis in cultured HPAECs and human pulmonary arterial explants. Transcriptomic analysis of KLF6-overexpressing HPAECs revealed its role in regulating endothelial homeostasis and expression of arterial identity genes, such as SOX17, ERG, BMPR2, KDR, TEK, ENG, ACVRL1 and CDH5. DisGeNET analysis showed a significant association of KLF6-regulated genes with PAH. Spatial transcriptomic analysis of PAH lung vascular tissues (n=6/group) revealed significant enrichment of KLF6-regulated genes in angiogenesis, cell motility, VEGFR signalling, and extracellular matrix organization. KLF6+ Erg+ vWF+ cells accumulated in vascular channels of remodelled PAH lungs and. KLF6 expression was elevated in PAH blood-derived endothelial progenitor cells (n=5) and pulmonary arterial cells in PAH associated with Alveolar Capillary Dysplasia. Conclusions: KLF6 uniquely orchestrates endothelial repair but its sustained activation promotes development of the apoptosis-resistant, angio-proliferative vascular phenotype in human PAH. Dysregulation of KLF6 signalling may have broader implications for pulmonary vascular disease.

Abstract:Treatments for pulmonary fibrosis (PF) are ineffective because its molecular pathogenesis and therapeutic targets are unclear. Here, we show that the expression of low-density lipoprotein receptor (LDLR) was significantly decreased in alveolar type II (ATII) and fibroblast cells, whereas it was increased in endothelial cells from systemic sclerosis-related PF (SSc-PF) patients and idiopathic PF (IPF) patients compared with healthy controls. However, the plasma levels of low-density lipoprotein (LDL) increased in SSc-PF and IPF patients. The disrupted LDL-LDLR metabolism was also observed in four mouse PF models. Upon bleomycin (BLM) treatment, Ldlr-deficient (Ldlr-/-) mice exhibited remarkably higher LDL levels, abundant apoptosis, increased fibroblast-like endothelial and ATII cells and significantly earlier and more severe fibrotic response compared to wild-type mice. In vitro experiments revealed that apoptosis and TGF-β1 production were induced by LDL, while fibroblast-like cell accumulation and ET-1 expression were induced by LDLR knockdown. Treatment of fibroblasts with LDL or culture medium derived from LDL-pretreated endothelial or epithelial cells led to obvious fibrotic responses in vitro. Similar results were observed after LDLR knockdown operation. These results suggest that disturbed LDL-LDLR metabolism contributes in various ways to the malfunction of endothelial and epithelial cells, and fibroblasts during pulmonary fibrogenesis. In addition, pharmacological restoration of LDLR levels by using a combination of atorvastatin and alirocumab inhibited BLM-induced LDL elevation, apoptosis, fibroblast-like cell accumulation and mitigated PF in mice. Therefore, LDL-LDLR may serve as an important mediator in PF, and LDLR enhancing strategies may have beneficial effects on PF.

Abstract:Lysophosphatidic acid (LPA) is a collective name for a set of bioactive lipid species. Via six widely distributed G protein-coupled receptors (GPCRs), LPA elicits a plethora of biological responses, contributing to inflammation, thrombosis and atherosclerosis. There have recently been considerable advances in GPCR signaling especially recognition of the extended role for GPCR transactivation of tyrosine and serine/threonine kinase growth factor receptors. This review covers LPA signaling pathways in the light of new information. The use of transgenic and gene knockout animals, gene manipulated cells, pharmacological LPA receptor agonists and antagonists have provided many insights into the biological significance of LPA and individual LPA receptors in the progression of atherosclerosis and vascular diseases. This review provides a comprehensive presentation of LPA with the highlight of the distinct role of its receptors in cell and animal models that relate to atherosclerosis and vascular diseases, and therefore provides new opportunities to reduce the burden of cardiovascular diseases. The recent drug development strategies that target LPA signaling pathways are also included in this review.

Abstract:Pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) is characterized by progressive pulmonary artery remodeling leading to increased right ventricular pressure overload, which results in right heart failure and premature death. Inflammation plays a central role in the development of PAH and the recruitment and function of immune cells are tightly regulated by chemotactic cytokines called chemokines. A number of studies have shown that the development and progression of PAH are associated with the dysregulated expression of several chemokines and chemokine receptors in the pulmonary vasculature. Moreover, some chemokines are differentially regulated in the pressure‐overloaded right ventricle. Recent studies have tested the efficacy of pharmacological agents targeting several chemokines and chemokine receptors for their effects on the development of PAH, suggesting that these receptors could serve as useful therapeutic targets. In this review we provide recent insights into the role of chemokines and chemokine receptors in PAH and RV remodeling, and the opportunities and roadblocks in targeting them.

Removal of potassium from tuberous root vegetables by leaching.

Abstract:OBJECTIVES To determine analytically the amount of potassium in raw tuberous root vegetables (TRV); to estimate the amount of potassium that can be leached from raw TRV by soaking in water; and to determine whether the duration of soaking and the cooking method selected affect potassium extraction. DESIGN Fresh TRV (ie, fresh and sweet batata, cocomalanga, dasheen, eddo, black yam, white yam, yellow yam, yampi, malanga, red yautia, white yautia, and yuca) were obtained from an ethnic market. Five experimental conditions with variations in soak time and cooking method were applied. Potassium was extracted from the ash of dried samples. The potassium content of aqueous extractions was determined through atomic absorption spectrophotometry. RESULTS Mean potassium content was highest in raw cocomalanga and lowest in raw dasheen. All of the raw TRV, except for dasheen, had a potassium content >200 mg (5.1 mEq)/100 g sample. Soaking was not effective in the leaching of significant amounts of potassium from most TRV. The double cooking (DC) method (ie, boil, rinse, boil again) leached more potassium from most TRV than did the normal cooking (NC) method (ie, boil), except with dasheen and yellow yam. More vegetables retained a potassium content >200 mg (5.1 mEq)/100 g following NC versus DC (92% versus 54%). CONCLUSIONS The potassium content of raw TRV varied considerably, with most tubers retaining a moderate or high potassium content following the leaching procedures. However, this study showed that DC appears to be more effective than NC for leaching potassium from TRV.

The LIM-only protein FHL2 is expressed in the vessel wall in ECs and smooth muscle cells and plays a crucial role in vessel wall homeostasis. However, the molecular mechanisms how FHL2 exerts its effects and its role in pulmonary artery EC function remain unclear. Here, we investigated the effect of FHL2 on EC proliferation and unraveled the underlying mechanisms involved. Methods/Results We found that FHL2 is highly expressed in lungs of PAH rats compared to control rats as evidenced by qPCR and western blot analysis. Human microvascular ECs (MVECs) derived from lungs of PAH patients displayed enhanced expression of FHL2. Ectopic expression of FHL2 in MVECs significantly increased mRNA levels of BMPR2 and Id1. To substantiate these results, luciferase assays were performed using BMP response element reporter construct and found that FHL2 increases Id1 expression. Furthermore, overexpression of FHL2 decreased TNF-α induced expression of pro-inflammatory cytokines. Finally, ectopic expression of FHL2 reduced proliferation of ECs. Conclusion Our data indicate that FHL2 is a novel negative regulator of MVEC proliferation through enhancing BMP signaling and inhibiting inflammation. Modulation of FHL2 may potentially represent a novel therapeutic strategy for the treatment of PAH.

Abstract:Low-density lipoprotein receptor (LDLR) has been an object of research since the 1970s because of its role in various cell functions. The LDLR family members include LRP5, LRP6, and LRP8. Even though LRP5, 6, and 8 are in the same family, intriguingly, these three proteins have various roles in physiological events, as well as in regulating different mechanisms in various kinds of cancers. LRP5, LRP6, and LRP8 have been shown to play important roles in a broad panel of cancers. LRP5 is highly expressed in many tissues and is involved in the modulation of glucose-induced insulin secretion, bone development, and cholesterol metabolism, as well as cancer progression. Recently, LRP5 has also been shown to play a role in chondroblastic subtype of osteosarcoma (OS) and prostate cancer and also in noncancer case such as osteoporosis. LRP6, which has been previously discovered to share the same structures as LRP5, has also been associated with many cancer progressions such as human triple negative breast cancer (TNBC), primary chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL), nonsmall cell lung cancer (NSCL), lung squamous cell carcinoma (LSCC), and hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). In addition to its role in cancer progression, LRP8 (apolipoprotein E receptor 2 [APOER2]) has also been demonstrated to regulate canonical Wnt/ β -catenin signaling pathway whereby this pathway plays a role in cell migration and development. Therefore, this review aimed to elucidate the role of LRP 5, 6, and 8 in regulating the cancer progression.

Abstract:Background: Pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) is a progressive disease characterized by remodeling of small pulmonary arteries (PA) due to hyper-proliferation of resident PA cells, leading to elevated right ventricular (RV) afterload and heart failure. PA smooth muscle (SM) cells (PASMC) in PAH have metabolic shift to glycolysis and lactate over-production. Goals: To investigate the role of lactate over-production in PA remodeling and PAH. Methods: RT-PCR, immunohistochemical, immunoblot, proteomic analyses; proliferation (Ki67), lactate, apoptosis assays; SU5416/Hypoxia (SuHx) rat and mouse models of PH. Results: Lactate dehydrogenase A (LDHA) was over-expressed in SMα-actin-positive areas of small muscular PAs from PAH subjects and rodents with SuHx PH, and distal human PAH PASMC compared to controls, promoting lactate over-production, consequent up-regulation of Yap/Taz, Akt-mTOR, increased proliferation and survival. SM22α-Ldha-/- mice were protected from SuHx-induced PH and RV hypertrophy. Lysine lactylation (Kla) was increased in small PAs and PASMC from human PAH lungs. Proteomic analysis identified 12 non-histone proteins that were hyper-lactylated in PAH PASMC. Following validation revealed that hyper-lactylation induced over-accumulation of TOP1 and deficiency of EMILIN1 in small PAs and PASMC from PAH lungs, leading to up-regulation of Yap/Taz, Akt-mTOR, TGFβ1, and increased proliferation. Lactate self-supported its over-production by up-regulating glycolysis and LDHA overexpression through EMILIN1-TGFβ1-HIF1α loop. Human PAH PASMC had elevated lactate secretion; exogenous lactate induced proliferation of control PAEC and PAAF. Pharmacological inhibition of LDHA-lactate reduced proliferation and selectively promoted apoptosis in human PAH PASMC, reversed SuHx-induced PA remodeling, PH, and RV hypertrophy in mice. Conclusions: LDHA-driven lactate over-production promotes proliferative, apoptosis-resistant PASMC phenotype, pulmonary vascular remodeling, and PH via hyper-lactylation and over-accumulation of TOP1, deficiency of EMILIN1, and consequent activation of Yap/Taz, Akt/mTOR, and TGFβ1. Targeting LDHA-lactate network could represent potentially attractive strategy to treat PAH.

Abstract:Background: High levels of lactate are positively associated with prognosis and mortality in pulmonary hypertension (PH). Lactate dehydrogenase A (LDHA) is a key enzyme for the production of lactate. This study is undertaken to investigate the role and molecular mechanisms of lactate and LDHA in PH. Methods: Lactate levels were measured by a lactate assay kit. LDHA expression and localization were detected by western blot and Immunofluorescence. Proliferation and migration were determined by CCK8, western blot, EdU assay and scratch-wound assay. The right heart catheterization and right heart ultrasound were measured to evaluate cardiopulmonary function. Results: In vitro, we found that lactate promoted proliferation and migration of pulmonary artery smooth muscle cells (PASMCs) in an LDHA-dependent manner. In vivo, we found that LDHA knockdown reduced lactate overaccumulation in the lungs of mice exposed to hypoxia. Furthermore, LDHA knockdown ameliorated hypoxia-induced vascular remodeling and right ventricular dysfunction. In addition, the activation of Akt signaling by hypoxia was suppressed by LDHA knockdown both in vivo and in vitro. The overexpression of Akt reversed the inhibitory effect of LDHA knockdown on proliferation in PASMCs under hypoxia. Finally, LDHA inhibitor attenuated vascular remodeling and right ventricular dysfunction in Sugen/hypoxia mouse PH model, Monocrotaline (MCT)-induced rat PH model and chronic hypoxia-induced mouse PH model. Conclusions: Thus, LDHA-mediated lactate production promotes pulmonary vascular remodeling in PH by activating Akt signaling pathway, suggesting the potential role of LDHA in regulating the metabolic reprogramming and vascular remodeling in PH.

Abstract:Knockout of lipocalin‐2 (LCN2) suppresses Akt phosphorylation, HIF‐1α and LDHA expression, and pulmonary hypertension (PH) progression. Heterozygous LDHA deficiency suppresses PH progression. LCN2 promotes LDHA expression by activating Akt‐HIF‐1α signalling axis. LCN2‐Akt‐HIF‐1α‐LDHA axis is a potential target for PH treatment. Up‐regulated LCN2 promotes LDHA expression and aerobic glycolysis via activation of Akt‐HIF‐1α signalling, facilitating the metabolic abnormalities and pulmonary artery smooth cell proliferation in pulmonary hypertension. Aerobic glycolysis is involved in the pathogenesis of pulmonary hypertension (PH). The mechanisms by which glycolysis is increased and how it contributes to pulmonary vascular remodelling are not yet fully understood. In this study, we demonstrated that elevated lipocalin‐2 (LCN2) in PH significantly enhances aerobic glycolysis in human pulmonary artery smooth muscle cells (PASMCs) by up‐regulating LDHA expression. Knockout of Lcn2 or having heterozygous LDHA deficiency in mice significantly inhibits the progression of hypoxic PH. Our study reveals that LCN2 stimulates LDHA expression by activating Akt‐HIF‐1α signalling pathway. Inhibition of Akt or HIF‐1α reduces LDHA expression and proliferation of PASMCs. Both Akt and HIF‐1α play critical roles in the development of PH and are suppressed in the pulmonary vessels of hypoxic PH mice lacking LCN2. These findings shed light on the LCN2‐Akt‐HIF1α‐LDHA axis in aerobic glycolysis in PH.

Abstract:Pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) is an immune-mediated disease with poor prognosis and associated with various inflammatory immune diseases. In fact, its pathogenesis is far from clear. Although long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs) have been implicated in PAH, the molecular mechanisms remain largely unknown. For the first time, in lungs of monocrotaline-induced PAH rat models, we simultaneously detected the expression profiles of lncRNAs and mRNAs by high-throughput sequencing, and explored their roles with bioinformatics analysis and cell assay to discover more potential pathogenesis about PAH. Our data identified that a total of 559 lncRNAs and 691 mRNAs were differentially expressed in lungs during the pathogenesis of PAH. Gene Ontology (GO) and Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes (KEGG) analyses demonstrated that these dysregulated lncRNAs and mRNAs participated in important biological processes and pathways of PAH, among which inflammatory and immune responses represented the chief enriched pathway. The lncRNA-mRNA co-expression network was developed to uncover the hidden interactions between lncRNAs and mRNAs. Further, the expression levels of lncRNAs (NONRATT018084.2, NONRATT009275.2, NONRATT007865.2, and NONRATT026300.2) and mRNAs (LGALS3, PDGFC, SERPINA1, and NFIL3) were confirmed using quantitative real-time PCR. In the end, lncRNA NONRATT009275.2 could facilitate macrophage polarization to M2 type and be involved in inflammatory immune response. In conclusion, this study provided candidate drug targets and potential roles on lncRNAs in the pathogenesis of PAH, and several key regulatory genes were identified, which laid the initial foundation for further mechanism study in PAH.

Abstract:During recent years there has been much progress in interpreting the histo- and cytomorphology of lymphoreticular proliferations by means of enzyme cytochemical (cell typing by hydrolytic enzymes) and immunological (B- and T-cell differentiation using surface markers and functional tests) methods. Applying these methods in skin biopsies from 101 patients clinically suspected of having cutaneous lymphomas, patterns of lymphoreticular infiltrations in the skin have been elaborated. Based primarily on the 'Kiel' classification, low-grade and high-grade malignant lymphomas, pseudolymphomas and 'histiocytic lymphomas' can be differentiated in the skin; however, there still remain some hitherto unclassifiable lymphoreticular proliferations. In the low-grade malignant lymphomas of the skin, mycosis fungoides, Sézary's syndrome and Pagetoid reticulosis histologically display a pattern which is typical for T-cell infiltrations in the skin, whereas most of the 'malignant reticuloses', including immunocytoma, show a B-cell pattern. Erythrocyte antibody complement rosette fixation on cryostat sections is positive only in cutaneous pseudolymphomas whereas no fixation is seen in malignant B-cell lymphomas of the skin.
Involvement of Lysophospholipids in Pulmonary Vascular Functions and Diseases

Abstract:Extracellular lysophospholipids (lysophosphatidic acid, lysophosphatidylcholine, sphingosine 1-phosphate, etc.), which are synthesized from phospholipids in the cell membrane, act as lipid mediators, and mediate various cellular responses in constituent cells in the respiratory system, such as contraction, proliferation, migration, and cytoskeletal organization. In addition to these effects, the expression of the adhesion molecules is enhanced by these extracellular lysophospholipids in pulmonary endothelial cells. These effects are exerted via specific G protein-coupled receptors. Rho, Ras, and phospholipase C (PLC) have been proven to be their signaling pathways, related to Ca2+ signaling due to Ca2+ dynamics and Ca2+ sensitization. Therefore, lysophospholipids probably induce pulmonary vascular remodeling through phenotype changes in smooth muscle cells, endothelial cells, and fibroblasts, likely resulting in acute respiratory distress syndrome due to vascular leak, pulmonary hypertension, and pulmonary fibrosis. Moreover, lysophospholipids induce the recruitment of inflammatory cells to the lungs via the enhancement of adhesion molecules in endothelial cells, potentially leading to the development of asthma. These results demonstrate that lysophospholipids may be novel therapeutic targets not only for injury, fibrosis, and hypertension in the lung, but also for asthma. In this review, we discuss the mechanisms of the effects of lysophospholipids on the respiratory system, and the possibility of precision medicine targeting lysophospholipids as treatable traits of these diseases.
