Abstract:In vibration and torque state data-driven fault diagnosis of gearboxes, traditional one-dimensional signal time-frequency domain analysis methods suffer from insufficient feature expression and mining, and require complex noise reduction filtering preprocessing. To address this problem, this paper proposes a fusion image generation method, which integrates the advantages of Recurrence Plot (RP) and Gramian Angular Summation Field (GASF). At the same time, it considers the symmetry characteristics of the two images, removes the redundant parts, and splices them into a Recurrence Gramian Transformed (RGT) image. This approach not only takes into account both global and local fault information but also avoids cumbersome parameter selection, making the fault characteristics more intuitive and easier to analyze. Given that multi-sensor collaboration can enhance feature representation, but feature-level fusion will increase the computational burden, and decision-level fusion is prone to lose the correlation information between the features of each sensor. Therefore, this paper adopts data-level fusion for image sample enhancement. In terms of diagnostic methods, a Multi-Scale Feature Fusion Interaction Network (MFFIN) is constructed based on the characteristics of the generated images. This network addresses the difficulty of traditional Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN) in extracting the diverse geometric linear structures of fused images. It extracts preliminary features by introducing deformable convolutional blocks. Since the multi-scale features have different weights in both spatial and channel dimensions and also have certain correlation characteristics, this paper constructs a channel-spatial interactive attention mechanism, which imparts weights to the features while enabling the circulation and interaction of information. Finally, validation is carried out using public datasets, and the experimental results show that the proposed method demonstrates significant advantages in classification accuracy and robustness under variable operating conditions and noise, thereby proving its effectiveness and practicality.
