Abstract:Background: Macrophages, the major immune cells in glioma microenvironment, are closely related to tumor prognosis. Further studies are needed to investigate macrophages, which will be helpful to fully understand the role of it and early achieve clinical translation. Methods: A total of 1334 glioma cases were enrolled in this study from 3 databases. In our works, the single cell cohorts from GSE89567, GSE84465, and the Chinese Glioma Genome Atlas (CGGA) datasets were used to analyze the key genes of macrophage. The bulk sequencing data from the Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA) and CGGA datasets were respectively divided into the training set and validation set to test prognostic value of the key genes from single cell analysis. Results: Quantitative and functional differences significantly emerge in macrophage clusters between LGG and GBM. Firstly, we used the Seurat R package to identify 281 genes differentially expressed genes in macrophage clusters between LGG and GBM. Furthermore, based on these genes, we developed a predictive risk model to predict prognosis and reflect the immune microenvironment in glioma. The risk score calculation formula was yielded as follows: Risk score = (0.11 × EXP MACC1 ) + (−0.31 × EXP OTUD1 ) + (−0.09 × EXP TCHH ) + (0.26 × EXP ADPRH ) + (-0.40× EXP ABCG2 ) + (0.21 × EXP PLBD1 ) + (0.12 × EXP ANG ) + (0.29 × EXP QPCT ). The risk score was independently related to prognosis. Further, significant differences existed in immunological characteristics between the low- and high-risk score groups. What is more, mutation analysis found different genomic patterns associated with the risk score. Conclusion: This study further confirms that the proportion of macrophage infiltration is not only significantly different, but the function of them is also different. The signature, identified from the differentially expressed macrophage-related genes impacts poor prognosis and short overall survival and may act as therapeutic targets in the future.

Abstract:Abstract BACKGROUND Glioma is one of the most malignant tumors in the central neural system, due to a lack of efficient immune therapy targets. Here we explored the transcriptional information of gliomas with the aim to discover novel biomarkers for glioma classifying in the aspects of prognosis and immune therapy targets prediction. METHODS We explored the gene expression data from the Chinese Glioma Genome Atlas (CGGA). The extracellular matrix (ECM) and immune cells abundance of gliomas were evaluated on the transcriptional level by the ECM score and cell infiltration enrichment score. RESULTS Based on top differentially expressed genes (DEGs), ECM scores showed significantly differences between various grades (WHO II, III, and IV) of gliomas (p values < 0.0001). Cell infiltration enrichment scores of macrophages, macrophages M1, and monocytes showed positively correlated with the ECM scores by the linear regression analysis (r = 0.51, 0.54, and 0.62, respectively; p values < 0.0001). Variation-partitioning analysis indicated that macrophages, macrophages M1, and monocytes played dominant roles in the variances between WHO II, WHO III, and WHO IV gliomas. Survival association analysis showed that patients with higher infiltration of macrophages, macrophages M1, and monocytes shared shorter overall survival (OS). OS of glioblastoma (GBM) were determined to be shorter in high macrophages M1 enrichment group (p < 0.0001). Univariate and multivariate analysis of clinical characteristics with OS in GBM cohort demonstrated that macrophages M1 enrichment score was an independent survival risk factor for GBM patients. Further subgroup survival association analysis showed that the higher M1 macrophages enrichment score was associated with higher OS in IDH wildtype GBM patients (p = 0.011). CONCLUSIONS This study demonstrates Macrophages M1 infiltration level as a poor prognostic factor for glioma and suggests macrophages M1 could be the potential immune therapy targets for IDH-wild-type GBM patients.

Abstract:Summary The effect of mild hyperthyroidism upon mammary gland growth has been studied by injection of exogenous T4 into normal pregnant rats at levels of 2.5, 3.0, and 3.5 μg/100 g BW/day. Normal pregnant rats showed mean total of DNA of 7.63 ± .39 mg/100 g BW. Group of 45 pregnant rats injected with T4 showed a mean DNA of 9.07 ± .25 mg/100 g BW, an increase of 22%. It is suggested sub-optimal T4 secretion may be one of the limiting factors in attainment of maximum mammary gland proliferation.

Abstract:Background: The incidence of glioma, a prevalent brain malignancy, is increasing, particularly among the elderly population. This study aimed to elucidate the clinical importance of epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT) in gliomas and its association with malignancy and prognosis. Background: The incidence of glioma, particularly among elderly individuals, is on the rise. The malignancy of glioma is determined not only by the oncogenic properties of tumor cells but also by the composition of the tumor microenvironment, which includes immune system macrophages. The prevalence of M2-type macrophages typically fosters tumor progression, yet the underlying mechanism remains elusive. Our study explored the clinical importance of epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT) in gliomas and its association with malignancy and prognosis. Methods: Our study used the gene set variation analysis (GSVA) algorithm to classify different levels of EMT activation based on the transcriptomic and multi-omics data. Machine learning (ML) and single-cell analysis were integrated into our model for comprehensive analysis. A predictive model was constructed and in vitro experiments were performed to validate our findings. Results: Our study classified 1,641 samples into two clusters based on EMT activation: the EMT-hot group and the EMT-cold group. The EMT-hot group had elevated copy number loss, tumor mutational burden (TMB), and a poorer survival rate. Conversely, the EMT-cold group showed a better survival rate, likely attributed to lower stromal and immune cell scores, as well as decreased expression of human leukocyte antigen-related genes. Driving genes were identified through weighted gene coexpression network analysis (WGCNA) and dimensionality reduction techniques. These genes were then utilized in the construction of a prognostic model using ML and protein-protein interaction (PPI) network analysis. Furthermore, the impact of the core genes identified through single-cell analysis on glioma prognosis was examined. Conclusion: Our research underscores the efficacy of our model in predicting glioma prognosis and elucidates the connection between the M2 macrophages and EMT. Additionally, core genes such as LY96, C1QB, LGALS1, CSPG5, S100A8, and CHGB were identified as pivotal for mediating the occurrence of EMT induced by M2 macrophages.

Abstract:Glioma is one of the most fatal tumors in central nervous system. Previous studies gradually revealed the association between tumor microenvironment and the prognosis of gliomas patients. However, the correlation between tumor-infiltrating immune cell and stromal signatures are unknown. In our study, we obtained gliomas samples from the Chinese Glioma Genome Atlas (CGGA) and The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA). The landscape of tumor infiltrating immune cell subtypes in gliomas was calculated by CIBERSORT. As a result, we found high infiltration of macrophages was correlated with poor outcome ( P < 0.05). Then functional enrichment analysis of high/low macrophage-infiltrating groups was performed by GSEA. The results showed three gene sets includes 102 core genes about angiogenesis were detected in high macrophage-infiltrating group. Next, we constructed PPI network and analyzed prognostic value of 102 core genes. We found that five stromal signatures indicated poor prognosis which including HSPG2, FOXF1, KDR, COL3A1, SRPX2 ( P < 0.05). Five stromal signatures were adopted to construct a classifier. The classifier showed powerful predictive ability (AUC = 0.748). Patients with a high risk score showed poor survival. Finally, we validated this classifier in TCGA and the result was consistent with CGGA. Our investigation of tumor microenvironment in gliomas may stimulate the new strategy in immunotherapy. Five stromal signature correlated with poor prognosis also provide a strong predator of gliomas patient outcome.

Novel macrophage-related gene prognostic index for glioblastoma associated with M2 macrophages and T cell dysfunction

Abstract:This study aims to construct a Macrophage-Related Gene Prognostic Index (MRGPI) for glioblastoma (GBM) and explore the underlying molecular, metabolic, and immunological features. Based on the GBM dataset from The Cancer Genome Atlas (n = 156), 13 macrophage-related hub genes were identified by weighted gene co-expression network (WGCNA) analysis. 5 prognostic genes screened by Kaplan-Meire (K-M) analysis and Cox regression model were used to construct the MRGPI, including GPR84, NCF2, HK3, LILRB2, and CCL18. Multivariate Cox regression analysis found that the MRGPI was an independent risk factor (HR = 2.81, CI95: 1.13-6.98, p = 0.026), leading to an unfavorable outcome for the MRGPI-high group, which was further validated by 4 validation GBM cohorts (n = 728). Thereafter, the molecular, metabolic, and immune features and the clinical implications of the MRGPI-based groups were comprehensively characterized. Gene set enrichment analysis (GSEA) found that immune-related pathways, including inflammatory and adaptive immune response, and activated eicosanoid metabolic pathways were enriched in the MRGPI-high group. Besides, genes constituting the MRGPI was primarily expressed by monocytes and macrophages at single-cell scope and was associated with the alternative activation of macrophages. Moreover, correlation analysis and receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curves revealed the relevance between the MRGPI with the expression of immune checkpoints and T cell dysfunction. Thus, the responsiveness of samples in the MRGPI-high group to immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICI) was detected by algorithms, including Tumor Immune Dysfunction and Exclusion (TIDE) and Submap. In contrast, the MRGPI-low group had favorable outcome, was less immune active and insensitive to ICI. Together, we have developed a promising biomarker to classify the prognosis, metabolic and immune features for GBM, and provide references for facilitating the personalized application of ICI in GBM.

Abstract:Macrophages played an important role in the progression and treatment of head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSCC). We employed weighted gene co-expression network analysis (WGCNA) to identify macrophage-related genes (MRGs) and classify patients with HNSCC into two distinct subtypes. A macrophage-related risk signature (MRS) model, comprising nine genes: IGF2BP2, PPP1R14C, SLC7A5, KRT9, RAC2, NTN4, CTLA4, APOC1, and CYP27A1, was formulated by integrating 101 machine learning algorithm combinations. We observed lower overall survival (OS) in the high-risk group and the high-risk group showed elevated expression levels in most of the immune checkpoint and human leukocyte antigen (HLA) genes, suggesting a strong immune evasion capacity. Correspondingly, TIDE score positively correlated with risk score, implying that high-risk tumors may resist immunotherapy more effectively. At the single-cell level, we noted macrophages in the tumor microenvironment (TME) predominantly stalled in the G2/M phase, potentially hindering epithelial-mesenchymal transition and playing a crucial role in the inhibition of tumor progression. Finally, the proliferation and migration abilities of HNSCC cells significantly decreased after the expression of IGF2BP2 and SLC7A5 reduced. It also decreased migration ability of macrophages and facilitated their polarization towards the M1 direction. Our study constructed a novel MRS for HNSCC, which could serve as an indicator for predicting the prognosis, immune infiltration and immunotherapy for HNSCC patients.

Abstract:Abstract Macrophage polarization plays an essential role in tumour immune cell infiltration and tumour growth. In this study, we selected a series of genes distinguishing between M1 and M2 macrophages and explored their prognostic value in gliomas. A total of 170 genes were included in our study. The CGGA database was used as the training cohort and the TCGA database as the validation cohort. The biological processes and functions were identified by GO and KEGG analysis. Kaplan–Meier analysis was used to compare survival differences between groups. Importantly, we built a risk score model using Cox regression analysis based on the CGGA and verified it in the TCGA database and our sequencing data. Patients with gliomas in the high‐risk group were associated with high pathologic grade, IDH WT status, MGMT promoter unmethylation, 1p19q non‐codeletion and prone to have a poor outcome. GEPIA results revealed that CD300C, CNRIP1 and MYO1F are the most related genes of immune infiltrations. The differential expression of these genes between low‐grade gliomas and glioblastomas was confirmed by q‐RT‐PCR. Macrophage polarization‐related gene signatures can predict the malignancy and outcome of patients with gliomas and might act as a promising target for glioma immunotherapy in the future.

Abstract:Current information technologies and their subsequent applications in the industry enable a new view on already well-known processes, actions, phenomena and approaches, the realizations of which were very hard or not possible to accomplish nearly a decade ago due to difficult technical and economic conditions. This applies particularly to those areas of the processes industry, which are characterized by massive ecological and environmental load from mining, the metallurgy and the chemical industry. Current information technologies enable us to sense and record data from these processes in hard operation conditions by using new technical remedies in real time, the subsequent storing of the measurement data, their processing and evaluation in situ or in a laboratory. The article describes the use of a full profile tunnel boring machine Wirth TB-II-330H/M using TBM technology during the boring of an exploration gallery of the tunnel Branisko from the east side. According to the used technology it is a very expensive construction and that is the reason that is needed to ensure the fluent and fast course of work progress by maximum mechanism performance and effective work time use. During the boring the tunnel boring machine passed through many geological formations while recording variables like downforce, revolution, the torque of the boring head, power consumption and boring length. The system's monitoring of input and output variables of a tunnel boring machine-rock process system and calculating its key performance indicators (KPI) enable a contribution to the development, design and subsequent evaluation of static and dynamic system models. The indicators of the technological process were designed for visualization in an operator system in order to promptly evaluate, verify, and access data provided by the individual models. The visualization of the boring process on different levels of the operator system, the division of user competences of the system, means defining the competences necessary to control the monitoring process. By defining each user role a hierarchy of managing levels is created and its interconnections enable us to achieve the desired outputs related to the specific level of managing. The technological process control of the boring process using the HMI principles used in the process industry become a new approach in the area of industry automatization.
Comprehensive analysis of microglia gene and subpathway signatures for glioma prognosis and drug screening: linking microglia to glioma

Abstract:Glioma is the most common malignant tumors in the brain. Previous studies have revealed that, as the innate immune cells in nervous system, microglia cells were involved in glioma pathology. And, the resident microglia displayed its specific biological roles which distinguished with peripheral macrophages. In this study, an integrated analysis was performed based on public resource database to explore specific biological of microglia within glioma. Through comprehensive analysis, the biological characterization underlying two conditions, glioma microglia compared to glioma macrophage (MicT/MacT) as well as glioma microglia compared to normal microglia (MicT/MicN), were revealed. Notably, nine core MicT/MicN genes displayed closely associations with glioma recurrence and prognosis, such as P2RY2, which was analyzed in more than 2800 glioma samples from 25 studies. Furthermore, we applied a random walk based strategy to identify microglia specific subpathways and developed SubP28 signature for glioma prognostic analysis. Multiple validation data sets confirmed the predictive performance of SubP28 and involvement in molecular subtypes. The associations between SuP28 score and microglia M1/M2 polarization were also explored for both GBM and LGG types. Finally, a comprehensive drug-subpathway network was established for screening candidate medicable molecules (drugs) and identifying therapeutic subpathway targets. In conclusions, the comprehensive analysis of microglia related gene and functional signatures in glioma pathobiologic events by large-scale data sets displayed a framework to dissect inner connection between microglia and glioma, and identify robust signature for glioma clinical implications.

Abstract:Gliomas are primary malignant brain tumors. Monocytes have been proved to actively participate in tumor growth. Weighted gene co-expression network analysis was used to identify meaningful monocyte-related genes for clustering. Neural network and SVM were applied for validating clustering results. Somatic mutation and copy number variation were used for defining the features of identified clusters. Differentially expressed genes (DEGs) between the stratified groups after performing elastic regression and principal component analyses were used for the construction of risk scores. Monocytes were associated with glioma patients’ survival and exhibited high predictive value. The prognostic value of risk score in glioma was validated by the abundant expression of immune checkpoint and metabolic profile. Additionally, high risk score was positively associated with the expression of immunogenic and antigen presenting factors, which indicated high immune infiltration. A prognostic model based on risk score demonstrated high accuracy rate of receiver operating characteristic curves. Compared with previous studies, our research dissected functional roles of monocytes from large-scale analysis. Findings of our analyses strongly support an immune modulatory and prognostic role of monocytes in glioma progression. Notably, monocyte could be an effective predictor for therapy responses of glioma patients.

Abstract:Background: As the most common primary malignant intracranial tumor, glioblastoma has a poor prognosis with limited treatment options. It has a high propensity for recurrence, invasion, and poor immune prognosis due to the complex tumor microenvironment. Methods: Six groups of samples from four datasets were included in this study. We used consensus ClusterPlus to establish two subgroups by the EMT-related gene. The difference in clinicopathological features, genomic characteristics, immune infiltration, treatment response and prognoses were evaluated by multiple algorithms. By using LASSO regression, multi-factor Cox analysis, stepAIC method, a prognostic risk model was constructed based on the final screened genes. Results: The consensusClusterPlus analyses revealed two subtypes of glioblastoma (C1 and C2), which were characterized by different EMT-related gene expression patterns. C2 subtype with the worse prognosis had the more malignant clinical and pathology manifestations, higher Immune infiltration and tumor-associated molecular pathways scores, and poorer response to treatment. Additionally, our EMT-related genes risk prediction model can provide valuable support for clinical evaluations of glioma. Conclusions: The assessment system and prediction model displayed good performance in independent prognostic risk assessment and individual patient treatment response prediction. This can help with clinical treatment decisions and the development of effective treatments.

Abstract:This research aims to develop a prognostic glioma marker based on m 6 A/m 5 C/m 1 A genes and investigate the potential role in the tumor immune microenvironment. Data for patients with glioma were downloaded from The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA) and Chinese Glioma Genome Atlas (CGGA). The expression of genes related to m 6 A/m 5 C/m 1 A was compared for normal and glioma groups. Gene Ontology and Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Gene enrichment analysis of differentially expressed genes were conducted. Consistent clustering analysis was performed to obtain glioma subtypes and complete the survival analysis and immune analysis. Based on TCGA, Lasso regression analysis was used to obtain a prognostic model, and the CGGA database was used to validate the model. The model-based risk scores and the hub genes with the immune microenvironment, clinical features, and antitumor drug susceptibility were investigated. The clinical glioma tissues were collected to verify the expression of hub genes via immunohistochemistry. Twenty genes were differentially expressed, Consensus cluster analysis identified two molecular clusters. Overall survival was significantly higher in cluster 2 than in cluster 1. Immunological analysis revealed statistically significant differences in 26 immune cells and 17 immune functions between the two clusters. Enrichment analysis detected multiple meaningful pathways. We constructed a prognostic model that consists of WTAP , TRMT6 , DNMT1 , and DNMT3B . The high-risk and low-risk groups affected the survival prognosis and immune infiltration, which were related to grade, gender, age, and survival status. The prognostic value of the model was validated using another independent cohort CGGA. Clinical correlation and immune analysis revealed that four hub genes were associated with tumor grade, immune cells, and antitumor drug sensitivity, and WTAP was significantly associated with microsatellite instability(MSI). Immunohistochemistry confirmed the high expression of WTAP, DNMT1, and DNMT3B in tumor tissue, but the low expression of TRMT6. This study established a strong prognostic marker based on m 6 A/m 5 C/m 1 A methylation regulators, which can accurately predict the prognosis of patients with gliomas. m 6 A/m 5 C/m 1 A modification mode plays an important role in the tumor microenvironment, can provide valuable information for anti-tumor immunotherapy, and have a profound impact on the clinical characteristics.

Being able to store information about arguments people make in favour or against different opinions, decisions and actions is a highly valuable resource, yet extremely challenging for sense-making. How, for example, can an analyst quickly check whether in a corpus of citizen dialogue people tend to rather agree or disagree with new policies proposed by the department of transportation; how can she get an insight into the interactions typical of this specific dialogical context; how can the general public easily see which presidential candidate is currently winning the debate by being able to successfully defend his arguments? In this paper, we propose Argument Analytics – a suite of techniques which provide interpretation of, and insight into, large-scale argument data for both specialist and general audiences.
Identification of a 6-Cytokine Prognostic Signature in Patients with Primary Glioblastoma Harboring M2 Microglia/Macrophage Phenotype Relevance

Abstract:Background Glioblastomas (GBM) are comprised of a heterogeneous population of tumor cells, immune cells, and extracellular matrix. Interactions among these different cell types and pro-/anti-inflammatory cytokines may promote tumor development and progression. Aims The objective of this study was to develop a cytokine-related gene signature to improve outcome prediction for patients with primary GBM. Methods Here, we used Cox regression and risk-score analysis to develop a cytokine-related gene signature in primary GBMs from the whole transcriptome sequencing profile of the Chinese Glioma Genome Atlas (CGGA) database (n=105). We also examined differences in immune cell phenotype and immune factor expression between the high-risk and low-risk groups. Results Cytokine-related genes were ranked based on their ability to predict survival in the CGGA database. The six genes showing the strongest predictive value were CXCL10, IL17R, CCR2, IL17B, IL10RB, and CCL2. Patients with a high-risk score had poor overall survival and progression-free survival. Additionally, the high-risk group was characterized by increased mRNA expression of M2 microglia/macrophage markers and elevated levels of IL10 and TGFβ1. Conclusion The six cytokine-related gene signature is sufficient to predict survival and to identify a subgroup of primary GBM exhibiting the M2 cell phenotype.
Detection of tumor-associated macrophages phenotype in glioma and its clinical significance

Abstract:OBJECTIVE: To detect tumor-associated macrophages M1, M2 phenotypic expression levels in human glioma tissues, and its relationship with clinicopathological features and prognosis. METHODS: Immunohistochemical SP method was used to detect the expression levels of M1, M2 macrophages in 48 cases glioma tissues. Kaplan-Meier survival curves were analyzed and the progression-free survival and overall survival betwen M1, M2 high expression and low expression groups were compared. RESULTS: The difference of M1 and M2-type tumor-associated macrophages expression was not statistically significant with gender, age, tumor size, location and presence or absence of cystic change (P>0.05). M1 Giant macrophages expression was reduced following the increment of malignancy of glioma. The expression and pathological level was negatively correlated (r=-0.705, P=0.000). The progression free survival and overall survival were significantly different between its high expression group and the low expression group(P=0.000); M2 macrophages expression was increased in class I - grade IV glioma tissue with tumor malignant degree(P=0.000). The expression and pathological level was positively correlated (r=0.857, P=0.000). Between the high expression group and the low expression group the progression-free survival and overall survival were significant different (P=0.000). CONCLUSION: M1, M2 tumor associated macrophages expression are related to glioma occurrence and the degree of malignancy; detection of both expression may provide a basis for clinical diagnosis, treatment and prognosis of glioma.

Abstract:MS4A6A has been recognized as being associated with aging and the onset of neurodegenerative disease. However, the mechanisms of MS4A6A in glioma biology and prognosis are ill-defined. Here, we show that MS4A6A is upregulated in glioma tissues, resulting in unfavorable clinical outcomes and poor responses to adjuvant chemotherapy. Multivariate Cox regression analysis suggested that MS4A6A expression can act as a strong and independent predictor for glioma outcomes (CGGA1: HR: 1.765, p < 0.001; CGGA2: HR: 2.626, p < 0.001; TCGA: HR: 1.415, p < 0.001; Rembrandt: HR: 1.809, p < 0.001; Gravendeel: HR: 1.613, p < 0.001). A protein–protein interaction (PPI) network revealed that MS4A6A might be coexpressed with CD68, CD163, and macrophage-specific signatures. Enrichment analysis showed the innate immune response and inflammatory response to be markedly enriched in the high MS4A6A expression group. Additionally, single-cell RNA sequencing (scRNA-seq) analysis revealed distinctive expression features for MS4A6A in macrophages in the glioma immune microenvironment (GIME). Immunofluorescence staining confirmed colocalization of CD68/MS4A6A and CD163/MS4A6A in macrophages. Correlation analysis revealed that MS4A6A expression is positively related to the tumor mutation burden (TMB) of glioma, displaying the high potential of applying MS4A6A to evaluate responsiveness to immunotherapy. Altogether, our research indicates that MS4A6A upregulation may be used as a promising and effective indicator for adjuvant therapy and prognosis assessment.

Abstract:Background. Tumor microenvironment (TME) is closely related to the progression of glioma and the therapeutic effect of drugs on this cancer. The aim of this study was to develop a signature associated with the tumor immune microenvironment using machine learning. Methods. We downloaded the transcriptomic and clinical data of glioma patients from the Chinese Glioma Genome Atlas (CGGA) databases (mRNAseq_693). The single-sample Gene Set Enrichment Analysis (ssGSEA) database was used to quantify the relative abundance of immune cells. We divided patients into two different infiltration groups via unsupervised clustering analysis of immune cells and then selected differentially expressed genes (DEGs) between the two groups. Survival-related genes were determined using Cox regression analysis. We next randomly divided patients into a training set and a testing set at a ratio of 7 : 3. By integrating the DEGs into least absolute shrinkage and selection operator (LASSO) regression analysis in the training set, we were able to construct a 15-gene signature, which was validated in the testing and total sets. We further validated the signature in the mRNAseq_325 dataset of CGGA. Results. We identified 74 DEGs associated with tumor immune infiltration, 70 of which were significantly associated with overall survival (OS). An immune-related gene signature was established, consisting of 15 key genes: adenosine triphosphate (ATP)-binding cassette subfamily C member 3 (ABCC3), collagen type IV alpha 1 chain (COL4A1), podoplanin (PDPN), annexin A1 (ANXA1), COL4A2, insulin-like growth factor binding protein 2 (IGFBP2), serpin family A member 3 (SERPINA3), CXXC-type zinc finger protein 11 (CXXC11), junctophilin 3 (JPH3), secretogranin III (SCG3), secreted protein acidic and rich in cysteine (SPARC)-related modular calcium-binding protein 1 (SMOC1), Cluster of Differentiation 14 (CD14), COL1A1, S100 calcium-binding protein A4 (S100A4), and transforming growth factor beta 1 (TGF-β1). The OS of patients in the high-risk group was worse than that of patients in the low-risk group. GSEA showed that interleukin-6 (IL-6)/Janus kinase (JAK)/signal transducer and activator of transcription (STAT3) signaling, interferon gamma (IFN-γ) response, angiogenesis, and coagulation were more highly enriched in the high-risk group and that oxidative phosphorylation was more highly enriched in the low-risk group. Conclusion. We constructed a stable gene signature associated with immune infiltration to predict the survival rates of glioma patients.
