Abstract:This study proposes a strategy using a microfluidic ratiometric electrochemical aptasensor to detect PCB77 with excellent sensitivity and specificity. This sensing platform combines a microfluidic chip, a wireless integrated circuit system for aptamer-based electrochemical detection, and a mobile phone control terminal for parameter configuration, identification, observation, and wireless data transfer. The sensing method utilizes a cDNA (MB–COOH–cDNA–SH) that is labelled with the redox probe Methylene Blue (MB) at the 5′ end and has a thiol group at the 3′ end. Additionally, it utilizes a single strand PCB aptamer that has been modified with ferrocenes at the 3′ end (aptamer–Fc). Through gold–thiol binding, the labelled probe of MB–COOH–cDNA–SH was self-assembled onto the surface of an Au/Nb 2 CT x /GO modified electrode. On exposure to aptamer–Fc, it will hybridize with MB–COOH–cDNA–SH to form a stable double-stranded structure on the electrode surface. When PCB77 is present, aptamer–Fc binds specifically to the target, enabling the double-stranded DNA to unwind. Such variation caused changes in the differential pulse voltammetry (DPV) peak currents of both MB and Fc. A substantial improvement is observed in the ratio between the two DPV peaks. Under the optimum experimental conditions, this assay has a response that covers the 0.0001 to 1000 ng mL −1 PCB77 concentration range, and the detection limit is 1.56 × 10 −5 ng mL −1 . The integration of a ratiometric electrochemical aptasensor with designed microfluidic and integrated devices in this work is an innovative and promising approach that offers an efficient platform for on-site applications.

Abstract:Due to the urgent need for detecting trace amounts of 3,3',4,4'-tetrachlorobiphenyl (PCB77) in the environment, we have developed an efficient and visible-driven photoelectrochemical (PEC) sensing platform based on carbon quantum dots (CQDs) modified titanium dioxide nanorods (TiO2 NRs), coupling with exonuclease I (Exo I) assisted in target recycling for significant signal amplification. CQDs/TiO2 NRs with high visible-light absorption ability and electron-hole separation efficiency is used as photoactive substrate for anchoring anti-PCB77 aptamer and its complementary DNA (cDNA). With the addition of PCB77, the specific interaction between PCB77 and its aptamer forces aptamer to separate from the electrode surface, resulting in an increase in photocurrent density. Adding Exo I in the test system, a self-catalytic target cycle was motivated, which significantly increased the PEC signal by more than twice, achieving signal amplification. The relationship between the photocurrent density changes and the concentrations of PCB77 are utilized to achieve quantitative detection of PCB77. The designed PEC sensing platform has good analytical performance with a detection limit as low as 0.33 pg L-1, high selectivity and stability. Moreover, the PEC sensor is successfully used to evaluate the content of PBC77 in the environment samples. The established sensing platform provides a simple and efficient method for detecting trace amounts of PCB77 in the environment.

Abstract:Aptamer-based electrochemical sensors are frequently used as independent, surface-functionalized, passive electrodes. However, their sensitivity and detection limits become limited, particularly when the electrode area is reduced to facilitate miniaturization. A mobile phone-based microfluidic electrochemical aptamer sensing platform for 3,3′,4,4′-tetrachlorobiphenyl (PCB77) detection was developed in this work. This aptamer sensor utilized Exonuclease I (Exo I) and DNA/AuNPs/horseradish peroxidase (DNA/AuNPs/HRP) nanoprobes as a merged signal amplification method, which resulted in an increase in the electrochemical sensing performance. Sensitive detection of PCB77 was accomplished by functionalizing the hierarchically structured Au@MoS 2 /CNTs/GO modified working/sensing electrode with the specific aptamer. The aptamer sensor was tested with different concentrations of PCB77 within the microfluidic platform. Afterwards, the differential pulse voltammograms were recorded using a wireless integrated circuit device. Subsequently, the collected data was transmitted to a smartphone using Bluetooth communication. A detection limit of 0.0085 ng/L was obtained for PCB77 detection, with a detection range from 0.1 to 1000 ng/L. In addition, the detection of PCB77 in spiked water samples validated the possibility of using this aptamer sensor in a real environment, and the aptamer sensor demonstrated high selectivity in distinguishing PCB77 from other potential interfering species. The merging of electrochemical aptamer sensors with purposefully engineered microfluidic and integrated devices in this study is a novel and promising method that provides a dependable platform for on-site applications.

Abstract:Polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) with high toxicity, low lethal dose, and bioaccumulation have been inhibited for application in wide fields, and a highly efficient trace detection is thus greatly desirable. In this study, we produce dense Au-nanoparticles by twice sputtering and twice annealing (T-Au-NPs) on boron-doped diamond (BDD). The successful formation of T-Au-NPs/BDD nanocomposites was confirmed by scanning electron microscopy, X-ray diffraction, Raman spectroscopy, and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy analysis. Based on T-Au-NPs/BDD, an electronic biosensor with aptamers is fabricated to detect trace polychlorinated biphenyl-77 (PCB-77) by electrochemical impedance. A good linear relationship in the range of femtomolar to micromolar and significantly low detection limit of sub-femtomolar level (0.32 fM) are realized based on the biosensor. The emphasis of this research lies in the key role of the diamond substrate in the biosensor. It is demonstrated that the biosensor has excellent sensitivity, specificity, stability, and recyclability, which are favorable for detecting the trace PCB-77 molecule. It is attributed to the important effect presented by the BDD substrate and the synergistic influence of T-Au-NPs combined with aptamers.This article has not yet been cited by other publications.

Abstract:An electrochemical aptasensor for ultrasensitive detection of hydroxylated polychlorinated biphenyl (OH-PCB) was developed. In this work, the sulfydryl aptamer selected for OH-PCB was easily immobilized on the surface of the modified glassy carbon electrode via Au-S bond due to incorporation of gold nanoparticles/poly dimethyl diallyl ammonium chloride-graphene composite. The fabrication process of the electrochemical aptasensor was characterized by electrochemical impedance spectroscopy and cyclic voltammetry. The peak currents obtained by differential pulse voltammetry decreased with the increasing of OH-PCB concentrations. The current responded approximately logarithmically to the OH-PCB concentration ranging from 2.9 × 10-11 M to 2.9 × 10-7 M with excellent linear correlation performance. The detection limit of OH-PCB was estimated as low as 5.3 × 10-12 M. The developed method had been successfully applied to analyzing lake water. Particularly, the method of the electrochemical aptasensor opens up a new perspective in environmental monitoring by the aptamer identification.

Abstract:Polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) are ubiquitous persistent organic pollutants that cause harmful effects on environmental safety and human health. There is an urgent need to develop an intelligent method for PCBs sensing. In this work, we proposed a logic gate biosensing platform for simultaneous detection of multiple PCBs. 2,3′,5,5′-tetrachlorobiphenyl (PCB72) and 3,3′,4,4′-tetrachlorobiphenyl (PCB77) were used as the two inputs to construct biocomputing logic gates. We used 0 and 1 to encode the inputs and outputs. The aptamer was used to recognize the inputs and release the trigger DNA. A catalytic hairpin assembly (CHA) module is designed to convert and amplify each trigger DNA into multiple programmable DNA duplexes, which initiate the trans -cleavage activity of CRISPR/Cas12a for the signal output. The activated Cas12 cleaves the BHQ-Cy5 modified single-stranded DNA (ssDNA) to yield the fluorescence reporting signals. In the YES logic gate, PCB72 was used as the only input to carry out the logic operation. In the OR, AND, and INHIBIT logic gates, PCB72 and PCB77 were used as the two inputs. The output signals can be visualized by the naked eye under UV light transilluminators or quantified by a microplate reader. Our constructed biosensing platform possesses the merits of multiple combinations of inputs, intuitive digital output, and high flexibility and scalability, which holds great promise for the intelligent detection of different PCBs.

Abstract:Quorum sensing signal molecule is an important biomarker released by some microorganisms, which can regulate the adhesion and aggregation of marine microorganisms on the surface of engineering facilities. Thus, it is significant to exploit a convenient method that can effectively monitor the formation and development of marine biofouling. In this work, an advanced photoelectrochemical (PEC) aptamer biosensing platform was established and firstly applied for the rapid and ultrasensitive determination of N-(3-Oxodecanoyl)-l-homoserine lactone (3-O-C10-HL) released from marine fouling microorganism Ponticoccus sp. PD-2. The visible-light-driven Bi2WO6/Bi2S3 heterojunction derived from metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) CAU-17 and self-screened aptamer were employed as the photoactive materials and bioidentification elements, respectively. Appropriate amount of MoS2 quantum dots (QDs) conjugated with single-stranded DNA were introduced by hybridization to enhance the photocurrent response of the PEC biosensor. The self-screening aptamer can specifically recognize 3-O-C10-HL, accompanied by increasing the steric hindrance and forcing MoS2 QDs to leave the electrode surface, resulting in an obvious reduction of photocurrent and achieving a dual-inhibition signal amplification effect. Under the optimized conditions, the photocurrent response of PEC aptasensor was linear with 3-O-C10-HL concentration from 1 nM to 10 μM, and the detection limit was as low as 0.26 nM. The detection strategy also showed a high reproducibility, superior specificity and good stability. This work not only provides a simple, rapid and ultrasensitive PEC aptamer biosensing strategy for monitoring quorum sensing signal molecules in marine biofouling, but also broadens the application of MOFs-based heterojunctions in PEC sensors.

Abstract:An efficient photoelectrochemical (PEC) sensing platform was developed for detection of di-2-ethylhexyl phthalate (DEHP) based on nitrogen and sulfur co-doped graphene quantum dots/TiO 2 nanorods (N, S-GQDs/TiO 2 NRs) coupling with exonuclease I (Exo I)-assisted target recycling for remarkable signal amplification. N, S-GQDs uniformly grown on TiO 2 NRs by simple hydrothermal method showed high electron-hole separation efficiency and superior photoelectric performance, which was explored as the photoactive substrate for anchoring anti-DEHP aptamer and its complementary DNA (cDNA). With the addition of DEHP, aptamer molecules fell from the electrode surface owing to the specific recognition of aptamer to DEHP, resulting in the increment of photocurrent signal. At this moment, Exo I could stimulate aptamer hydrolysis in the aptamer-DEHP complexes, so that DEHP was released from the complexes to take part in the next reaction cycling, which remarkably increasing the photocurrent response and achieving signal amplification. The designed PEC sensing platform exhibited excellent analytical performance for DEHP with a low detection limit of 0.1 pg L −1 . Also, its applications in real samples were further investigated in detail. Thus, the established method would provide a simple and efficient tool for DEHP or other pollutants monitoring in the environment.

Abstract:A novel turn-on fluorescent biosensor has been constructed using C-PS2.M-DNA-templated silver nanoclusters (Ag NCs) with an average diameter of about 1 nm. The proposed approach presents a low-toxic, simple, sensitive, and selective detection for Pb2+. The fluorescence intensity of C-PS2.M-DNA-Ag NCs enhances significantly in the presence of Pb2+, which is attributed to the special interaction between Pb2+ and its aptamer DNA PS2.M. Pb2+ induces the aptamer to form G-quadruplex and makes two darkish DNA/Ag NCs located at the 3' and 5' terminus close, resulting in the fluorescence light-up. Moreover, Pb2+ can be detected as low as 3.0 nM within a good linear range from 5 to 50 nM (R = 0.9862). Furthermore, the application for detection of Pb2+ in real water samples further demonstrates the reliability of the sensor. Thus, this sensor system shows a potential application for monitoring Pb2+ in environmental samples.

Abstract:Pesticide residues have seriously threatened human health and affected the sustainable development of the environment. It is pivotal to establish an efficient detection platform for pesticide assays. A novel ratiometric fluorescent aptasensor for sensitive determination of pesticide has been successfully established. Carbon dots (CDs) are used as the reference emitter, while the T-rich single-stranded DNA templated copper nanoparticles (CuNPs) provide the increasing signal. More precisely, CDs/magnetic beads (MBs) combined with split aptamer are used in this detection platform to present a label-free and enzyme-free isocarbophos (ICP) detection with high sensitivity and specificity. In the presence of ICP, a sandwich-typed complex is formed which attaches a T-rich DNA. After magnetic separation and addition of Cu2+/ascorbic acid (AA), the CuNPs are generated and the strong red luminescent appears. Without ICP, just blue emission from CDs exits. The developed ratiometric aptasensor offers an excellent ICP detection in the linear range of 3–200 nM with a detection limit of 0.81 nM. It provides new ways for the assay of pesticides in agricultural products or environmental samples.

Abstract:Polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) are a class of persistent organic pollutants, which cause serious harm to human health and ecological environment. Thus, a low-cost membrane was developed for highly effective removal and rapid surface-enhanced Raman scattering (SERS) detection of PCBs by filling esterified-sawdust (CA-SD) modified with silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) into solid phase extraction (SPE) column. SD was first modified by an esterification cross-linking strategy and then AgNPs were anchored on the CA-SD to prepare highly sensitive and reproducible SERS substrates (AgNPs/CA-SD). Due to the contraction of the surface area of the CA-SD caused by drying, the gap between the AgNPs could be reduced, thereby generating a large number of hot spots and driving more target molecules into them to obtain the enhanced SERS signals. The AgNPs/CA-SD-based SPE membrane showed excellent SERS activity with an enhancement factor of 5.98 × 108 for the R6G analysis. The proposed SERS-active SPE membrane with functionalization of mercapto-β-cyclodextrin was further developed for the determination of PCB-77 and PCB-1 with the LODs of 1.43 × 10−9 M and 2.12 × 10−8 M, respectively. In addition, each PCB in the mixed sample could be quickly distinguished based on the characteristic peaks. The current research exhibits great potential for the simultaneous detection of multiple environmental contaminants and can meet the needs of on-site emergency detection.

Abstract:Cadmium (Cd), a typical heavy metal not essential for the human body, can cause harm to the liver and kidneys upon exposure. Hence, rapid cadmium detection in the environment is of utmost importance. This research presents an effective approach for detecting divalent cadmium ions (Cd2+) using a sensitive dual hairpin (HP) electrochemical aptasensor. The aptasensor incorporates AuPd/Fe-MOF as signal labels and Au/Cu2O as the substrate material, and the rapid detection of divalent cadmium ions (Cd2+) was based on catalytic hairpin self-assembly (CHA), as the recognition strategy. Au/Cu2O increased the specific surface area of the electrode and provided abundant sites for capturing the complementary deoxyribonucleic acid (CDNA) probe. The electrochemical signal is then amplified through synergistic catalytic hydrogen peroxide with AuPd/Fe-MOF, thereby enhancing the aptasensor's sensitivity. Moreover, the dual HP design effectively reduces the likelihood of non-specific capture and minimizes false positives. In this study, various analytical techniques were utilized to characterize the material and evaluate the aptasensor's performance. The morphological characteristics of the material were observed using scanning electron microscopy (SEM). Energy-dispersive spectroscopy (EDS) and X-ray diffraction (XRD) were employed to analyze the elemental composition and distribution of the material, respectively. The electrochemical behavior of the sensor was studied using cyclic voltammetry (CV), while electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) helped understand the aptasensor's assembly process. Furthermore, the aptasensor's performance was assessed using differential pulse voltammetry (DPV). Under the optimized experimental conditions, the constructed sensor demonstrated effective detection of Cd2+ in the concentration range of 10–4–10 µM, with a remarkably low detection limit of 2.27 × 10–5 µM. Highly-Selective fluorescent Fe3O4@PPy aptasensor

Abstract:Label-free nucleic acid fluorescent probes are gaining popularity due to their low cost and ease of application. However, the primary challenges associated with label-free fluorescent probes stem from their tendency to interact with other biomolecules, such as RNA, proteins, and enzymes, which results in low specificity. In this work, we have developed a simple detection platform that utilizes Fe3O4@PPy in combination with a label-free nucleic acid probe, 1,1,2,2-tetrakis[4-(2-bromo-ethoxy)phenyl]ethene (TTAPE) or Malachite Green (MG), for highly selective detection of metal ions, acetamiprid, and thrombin. Fe3O4@PPy not only adsorbs aptamers through electrostatic interactions, π-π bonding, and hydrogen bonding, but also quenches the fluorescence of the TTAPE/MG. Upon the addition of target compounds, the aptasensor separates from Fe3O4@PPy through magnetic separation. Moreover, by changing different aptamers, the aptasensor was applied to detect metal ions, acetamiprid, and thrombin, with the turned-on photoluminescence (PL) emission intensity recorded and showing linearity to the concentrations of targets. The robustness of method was demonstrated by applying it to real samples, which included vegetables (for detecting acetamiprid with LODs of 0.02 and 0.04 ng/L), serum samples (for detecting thrombin with LODs of 5.5 and 4.3 nM), and water samples (for detecting Pb2+ with an LOD of 0.17 nM). Therefore, due to its impressive selectivity and sensitivity, the Fe3O4@PPy aptasensor could be utilized as a universal detection platform for various clinical and environmental applications.
A novel fluorescent biosensor based on affinity-enhanced aptamer-peptide conjugate for sensitive detection of lead(II) in aquatic products

Abstract:Lead contamination is a major concern in food safety and, as such, many lead detection methods have been developed, especially aptamer-based biosensors. However, the sensitivity and environmental tolerance of these sensors require improvement. A combination of different types of recognition elements is an effective way to improve the detection sensitivity and environmental tolerance of biosensors. Here, we provide a novel recognition element, an aptamer-peptide conjugate (APC), to achieve enhanced affinity of Pb2+. The APC was synthesized from Pb2+ aptamers and peptides through clicking chemistry. The binding performance and environmental tolerance of APC with Pb2+ was studied through isothermal titration calorimetry (ITC); the binding constant (Ka) was 1.76*106 M−1, indicating that the APC’s affinity was increased by 62.96% and 802.56% compared with the aptamers and peptides, respectively. Besides, APC demonstrated better anti-interference (K+) than aptamer and peptide. Through the molecular dynamics (MD) simulation, we found that more binding sites and stronger binding energy between APC with Pb2+are the reasons for higher affinity between APC with Pb2+. Finally, a carboxyfluorescein (FAM)-labeled APC fluorescent probe was synthesized and a fluorescent detection method for Pb2+ was established. The limit of detection of the FAM-APC probe was calculated to be 12.45 nM. This detection method was also applied to the swimming crab and showed great potential in real food matrix detection.Graphical abstract

Abstract:The excessive utilization of antibiotics has led to significant water contamination and posed severe threats to human well-being. Consequently, the pressing imperative to identify antibiotics in the environment arises. In this study, we have successfully synthesized a hollow PCN-222 MOF distinguished by its substantial surface area and abundant functional groups, particularly the porphyrin cores. To augment the electrical conductivity of the hollow PCN-222 (HPCN-222), gold (Au) particles were incorporated within the porphyrin core using a fundamental hydrothermal method. This modification facilitated the effective immobilization of aptamer strands through π-π stacking and electrostatic interactions. As a result, the Au@HPCN-222 composite demonstrated exceptional efficacy as a substrate for immobilizing the aptamer (Apt) onto the GCE surface. By employing differential pulse voltammetry (DPV) we successfully achieved the detection of chloramphenicol (CAP) with a remarkably low limit of detection of 0.0138 ng mL −1 and the peak DPV currents at 0.18 V (vs. Ag/AgCl) were used for calibration. Furthermore, this aptasensor exhibited high selectivity and reproducibility.

Abstract:Here, a visible-light driven and efficient photoelectrochemical (PEC) aptasensor for highly sensitive and specific detection of di-2-ethylhexyl phthalate (DEHP) was constructed based on N-doped carbon quantum dots-decorated TiO2 nanorods (N-CQDs-decorated TiO2 NRs) subtly integrated with biocatalytic precipitation (BCP). The N-CQDs-decorated TiO2 NRs synthesized through a facile hydrothermal method possess enhanced visible-light absorption capability and excellent PEC performance. The synthesized composites were used as the sensing material for developing a PEC aptasensor. Amino-functionalized complementary strand (cDNA) was first covalently immobilized on the N-CQDs-decorated TiO2 NRs, and then horseradish peroxidase (HRP)-labeled aptamer molecules were introduced onto the surface of composites by hybridization with cDNA. HRP-induced biocatalytic precipitation (BCP) caused the decrease of PEC detection signal, playing a role of signal amplification. The proposed PEC aptasensor shows good detection performance for DEHP with high sensitivity, selectivity, stability and reproducibility, and the detection limit is as low as 0.017 ng/L. Moreover, satisfying results were achieved for the DEHP assays in real environmental samples using the proposed PEC aptasensor. Thus, this present method would contribute a fresh idea to monitor DEHP or other pollutants in the environment.

Abstract:Heavy metal cadmium (II) contamination often occurs, causing great health risk to human due to high toxicity of cadmium (II). Rapid, sensitive and simple detection of cadmium (II) are of great importance in environmental monitoring. Taking advantage of aptamer in specific recognition, easy modification, and capability of binding-induced structure change, here we reported a simple fluorescent sensor with rapid and sensitive response for Cd2+ using aptamer pyrene excimer switch. The aptamer was labeled with dual pyrene molecules at two ends of the sequence. The binding of Cd2+ to this aptamer probe brought the pyrene labels into close proximity and enhanced formation of a pyrene excimer, which generated increased fluorescence at 485 nm. By measuring the fluorescence of pyrene excimer, we achieved detection of Cd2+ with this aptasensor. Under the optimum experimental conditions, the detection limit of Cd2+ reached nanomolar levels. This method was selective and allowed for the detection of Cd2+ in tap water. This fluorescence aptasensor is promising for rapid detection of Cd2+ in broad applications.

Abstract:Di-2-ethylhexyl phthalate (DEHP) is a toxic plasticizer and androgen antagonist. Its accumulation in water exceeds national drinking water standards and it must be continuously and effectively regulated. Currently, methods used to detect DEHP are still unsatisfactory because they usually have limited detection sensitivity and require complex operating procedures. A competition-induced fluorescence detection method was developed for the selective detection of DEHP in an aquatic environment. An aptamer with walking function was used as the recognition element for DEHP, and its quantification was induced by competition to change the fluorescence signal. The detection range was 0.01~100 μg/L, and the detection limit was 1.008 μg/L. This high-sensitivity DEHP detection capability and simplified process facilitates real-time fields and other monitoring tasks.

Abstract:A facile label-free aptamer-based electrochemical biosensor has been developed for sensitive detection of bisphenol A (BPA) based on a dual-signaling amplification strategy. The aptasensor was constructed by electrodeposition of gold nanoparticles (AuNPs) onto a glassy carbon electrode (GCE), where a thiolated-modified BPA aptamer was immobilized through self-assembly and then hybridized with the biotin-modified complementary DNA probe (cDNA) to form a double-stranded DNA. Upon the highly specific interaction between the target BPA and its aptamer, cDNA was released from the electrode surface and BPA was immobilized on the sensing interface. Streptavidin-modified horseradish peroxidase-functionalized gold nanoparticle (avidin-HRP-AuNP) was chosen as the nanoprobe, due to its catalytic activity to the oxidation of hydroquinone (HQ) in the presence of H2O2. As a result, the captured amounts of avidin-HRP-AuNP decrease with the increase of the BPA concentration and produce a series of decreasing catalytic peak currents. In addition, BPA has a redox activity and could provide an additional signal transformation. By superimposing the two signal changes, BPA was detected sensitively in a linear range from 0.001 to 1nM with a detection limit of 0.41pM. The aptasensor exhibited good selectivity toward BPA even in the presence of the interferents at 100-fold concentrations. This method would be readily applicable for sensitive detection of other redox analytes, merely by changing the anti-BPA aptamer/cDNA pair with a correspondent anti-target molecule aptamer and cDNA.

Abstract:A photoelectrochemical (PEC) sensing platform for di-2-ethylhexyl phthalate (DEHP) was constructed using graphene quantum dots decorated TiO2 nanotube arrays (GQDs-decorated TiO2 NTs) as the transducer species and the anti-DEHP aptamer as the biological recognition element. GQDs were synthesized using the alkali-mediated hydrothermal method, and then anchored onto the TiO2 NTs uniformly and intimately via pronounced electrostatic interaction. Coupling GQDs with TiO2 NTs not only enhanced visible-light absorption, but promoted charge separation and transportation, exhibiting excellent photocurrent response, and PEC activity. Various means were conducted to explore morphologies, optical, structural and PEC properties of the materials. As an identification unit, the anti-DEHP aptamer molecules were immobilized on GQDs-decorated TiO2 NTs using a cross-linking coupling method. The developed PEC sensing platform exhibits excellent sensing behavior for DEHP, and provides a low detection limit of 0.1 ng/L, high selectivity and stability. Meanwhile, its application in real environmental samples was evaluated and satisfying results were achieved. Thus, the established sensing platform provides a promising tool to detect DEHP in the environment.
