Abstract:In this paper, the authors consider a reflected backward stochastic differential equation driven by a G-Brownian motion (G-BSDE for short), with the generator growing quadratically in the second unknown. The authors obtain the existence by the penalty method, and some a priori estimates which imply the uniqueness, for solutions of the G-BSDE. Moreover, focusing their discussion at the Markovian setting, the authors give a nonlinear Feynman-Kac formula for solutions of a fully nonlinear partial differential equation.

Abstract:In this paper, we study the backward stochastic differential equations driven by G-Brownian motion under the condition that the generator is time-varying Lipschitz continuous with respect to y and time-varying uniformly continuous with respect to z. With the help of linearization method and the G-stochastic analysis techniques, we construct the approximating sequences of G-BSDE and obtain some precise a priori estimates. By combining this with the approximation method, we prove the existence and uniqueness of the solution under the time-varying conditions, as well as the comparison theorem.

In particular, the generator is allowed having quadratic growth in z. Abstract:In this paper, we consider backward stochastic differential equations driven by $G$-Brownian motion (GBSDEs) under quadratic assumptions on coefficients. We prove the existence and uniqueness of solution for such equations. On the one hand, a priori estimates are obtained by applying the Girsanov type theorem in the $G$-framework, from which we deduce the uniqueness. On the other hand, to prove the existence of solutions, we first construct solutions for discrete GBSDEs by solving corresponding fully nonlinear PDEs, and then approximate solutions for general quadratic GBSDEs in Banach spaces.

Abstract:Following the analysis on the stability in distribution of stochastic differential equations discussed in Fei et al. (Appl Math Lett 136:108448, 2023), this article further investigates the stability in distribution of highly nonlinear stochastic differential equations driven by G -Brownian motion ( G -HNSDEs). To this end, by employing the theory on sublinear expectations, the stability in distribution of G -HNSDEs is analysed. Moreover, a sufficient criterion of the stability in distribution of G -HNSDEs is provided for convenient use.

Abstract:SIAM Journal on Control and Optimization, Volume 62, Issue 3, Page 1569-1589, June 2024. The G-Brownian-motion-driven stochastic differential equations (G-SDEs) as well as the G-expectation, which were seminally proposed by Peng and his colleagues, have been extensively applied to describing a particular kind of uncertainty arising in real-world systems modeling. Mathematically depicting long-time and limit behaviors of the solution produced by G-SDEs is beneficial to understanding the mechanisms of system's evolution. Here, we develop a new G-semimartingale convergence theorem and further establish a new invariance principle for investigating the long-time behaviors emergent in G-SDEs. We also validate the uniqueness and the global existence of the solution of G-SDEs whose vector fields are only locally Lipschitzian with a linear upper bound. To demonstrate the broad applicability of our analytically established results, we investigate its application to achieving G-stochastic control in a few representative dynamical systems.

Abstract:Based on the classical probability, the stability of stochastic differential delay equations (SDDEs) whose coefficients are growing at most linearly has been investigated intensively. Moreover, the delay-dependent stability of highly nonlinear hybrid stochastic differential equations (SDEs) has also been studied recently. In this paper, using the nonlinear expectation theory, we first explore the delay-dependent criteria on the asymptotic stability for a class of highly nonlinear SDDEs driven by G -Brownian motion ( G -SDDEs). Then, the (weak) quasi-sure stability of solutions to G -SDDEs is developed. Finally, an example is analyzed by the φ -max-mean algorithm to illustrate our theoretical results.

Abstract:The backward stochastic differential equations driven by both standard and fractional Brownian motions (or, in short, SFBSDE) are studied. A Wick-Itô stochastic integral for a fractional Brownian motion is adopted. The fractional Itô formula for the standard and fractional Brownian motions is provided. Introducing the concept of the quasi-conditional expectation, we study some its properties. Using the quasi-conditional expectation, we also discuss the existence and uniqueness of solutions to general SFBSDEs, where a fixed point principle is employed. Moreover, solutions to linear SFBSDEs are investigated. Finally, an explicit solution to a class of linear SFBSDEs is found.

Abstract:In this paper, we study a collection of mean-reflected backward stochastic differential equations driven by $G$-Brownian motions ($G$-BSDEs), where $G$-expectations are constrained in some time-dependent intervals. To establish well-posedness results, we firstly construct a backward Skorokhod problem with sublinear expectation, and then apply that in the study of doubly mean-reflected $G$-BSDEs involving Lipschitz and quadratic generators under bounded and unbounded terminal conditions. Also we utilize fixed-point argumentations and $\theta$-methods while solving these equations. Finally, we extend the results to multi-dimensional doubly mean-reflected $G$-BSDEs with diagonal generators.
