Abstract:Chinese is important in the system of subject of primary school very much. It plays a pivotal role in the accumulation of living experience, the transmission of nationality spirit, the conservation of humanity spirit and the cultivation of vitality idea. As we all know, it is the implementation of new curriculum standards "people-oriented" concept, students focus on "comprehensive" development. However, the current situation of Chinese class is perishing in our country, the traditional teaching model is being questioned. This paper specifically focuses on the study of Chinese in primary school under the background of the new standard. It conducts this study mainly through the combining method of theory summary and survey analysis, which would properly design the strategy, process and concrete effects. It intends to offer some valuable advice both in theory and practice to teachers of Chines, inspiring and guiding the current teaching of Chinese and be some help to the new curriculum reform of Chinese teaching. Abstract:At present,the classical Chinese education in middle schools has been in the dilemma.Analysis shows,the dilemma is resulted from the following aspects:the top design of curriculum standard,exam outline and other documents to classical Chinese education of middle schools lack coherence and high level design;the textbook design fails to consider the progressive levels in learning classical Chinese and inheritance of traditional culture;the classroom teaching orientation to cope with the exam covers the essence of classical Chinese.In this regard,teachers should strive to build a consistent classical Chinese teaching style and carry out effective training of reading classical articles.The No.l Middle School of Ann Kway has developed "four-dimensions class" in classical Chinese education.The four dimensions are the text,words,literature and culture reflected in classical Chinese.Such class is not only beneficial to nurture the students' ability to appreciate the ancient poetries,but also contribute to the Chinese traditional culture inheritance.In addition,to recite a hundred-word classical prose every day has brought about remarkable results.

Abstract:Although it seems obsolete to analyse and criticise a curriculum from the point-of-view of “subject-centredness”, this is the situation we face during the Chinese basic education curriculum reform. This article gives a brief introduction to the ideas behind the development and practice of the Chinese curriculum reform and the progress of the reform since 2001. Several aspects of the reform are introduced: 1. Re-examining and revamping academic courses; 2. Adding general practical courses; 3. Diversifying the curriculum with local and school-based courses; 4. Providing elective courses for all students. We also give two examples to present the idea of the new curriculum and practice.

Abstract:The continuous advancement of educational reform has set higher standards for the teaching of Chinese language in primary schools. Teachers are required to continuously explore and adopt innovative teaching methods while discarding outdated approaches to enhance teaching efficiency. Primary education marks the beginning of children's learning journey, playing a decisive role in stimulating their interest in learning and developing good habits. Therefore, improving teaching methods in primary schools not only positively affects children’s current learning but also lays the foundation for their future academic growth, contributing to the improvement of students' comprehensive abilities. Despitethis, the teaching outcomes in primary schools still have room for improvement.Some students have not yet developed good study habits and show resistance to learning, which affects the teaching effectiveness, especially in the Chinese subject where this issue is more pronounced. Therefore, it is crucial to deeply analyze the current situation of Chinese language teaching in primary schools and find effective improvement strategies. This can enhance students' motivation to learn and improve the quality of teaching.

Abstract:: Under the guidance of student-oriented and teacher-led teaching philosophy, heuristic teaching centers on provoking students' thoughts and advocates that teachers should arouse their enthusiasm and initiative in learning starting from the actual situation and in strict accordance with teaching tasks and the objective laws of learning. A string of new forms and features now label the heuristic teaching amid the implementation of new curriculum reform. Specifically, teachers improve students' ability to locate and solve problems, and cultivate their skills of cooperation, autonomous learning, and innovation through feasible inspiration and instructions. Middle and primary schools in rural areas, however, suffer from backward teaching amid the full swing of the new curriculum reform. In that case, teachers are obliged to dissect the problem and better the relatively lagging thought-provoking teaching through several paths.

Abstract:China initiated its eighth round of curriculum reform in basic education in 2001. The senior high school English curriculum, along with all other subjects, was redesigned as part of that reform. The new national curriculum advocated a learner-centered approach to language teaching with an emphasis on providing a common foundation for all students and a keen concern for meeting students’ personal interests, individual needs, and learning potentials. The reform reflects a paradigm shift in curriculum philosophy, course structure, methods of teaching, and assessment strategies. All these changes have posed tremendous challenges for senior high school English teachers. This chapter introduces the guiding principles for the design of the new senior high school English curriculum and compares the new curriculum standards with the previous English teaching syllabus. It then reports the significant changes that have taken place in classrooms, as well as the difficulties that prevent the new curriculum from being successfully implemented. Finally, it calls for the development of an effective support system to help teachers cope with the challenges posed by the new curriculum.

The education industry in China is now in a phase of high-quality development. In order to further enhance the effect of middle school physical education, it is necessary to strengthen the discussion on teaching strategies. Reconstruction of Teaching Units in New Curriculum Chinese Textbooks

Abstract:In the 20th century,the design of teaching units in Chinese textbooks was arranged in the order of listening,speaking,reading and writing,which tried to decompose and organize Chinese teaching systematically and logically.It overemphasized its function as a tool and neglected humanism,hence Chinese teaching became rigid.The New Curriculum Chinese textbooks subvert this teaching design and replace it by the topic structure taking student's Chinese practice as the core,which fully shows the new idea of the new elementary education curricular reform and the basic spirit of the Chinese curriculum standards.Only when we correctly understand the reconstruction of teaching units in the Chinese experimental textbooks can we find out the fulcrum of the curriculum implementation during the teaching practice.

Abstract:In April 2022, the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China officially announced the English Curriculum Standards for Compulsory Education (2022 Edition). Since the release of the English Curriculum Standards for Compulsory Education (2011 Edition), the reform of the English curriculum for compulsory education has made remarkable achievements; at the same time, however, there are also some problems that need to be solved urgently. The new curriculum standards should change the teaching of vocabulary and grammar knowledge as the main content, select learning contents around the comprehensive performance of core literacy, design teaching units as a whole, and plan the blueprint of unit education. According to the students' comprehensive performance and the objectives of the school section, the content should be closely related to the real life, especially the social life and learning life that students are familiar with and meet the characteristics of their physical and mental development. The content selected should reflect the characteristics of the times and social progress, focus on the themes of people and nature. Elements on theme, discourse, language knowledge, cultural knowledge, language skills and learning strategies should be considered when selecting the the teaching content. Ultimately, students are expected to use the knowledge and skills to solve tasks and problems in practice. In terms of middle school English teaching, the author holds that Task-Based Teaching Mode will help teachers to achieve the above goals. Task-Based teaching emphasizes learning by doing, which allows students to interact with teachers, and it also creates a favorable environment for students to learn and internalize. The middle school English teaching goal is to help the students to obtain the basic English knowledge and the ability of using English to communicate through listening,speaking,reading and writing training. As a helpful teaching approach, the Task-Based Teaching Model can be widely used. Based on the English classroom of middle school, this thesis discusses the relationship between Task-Based Teaching Model and the modern English class through analyzing the reading in middle school English class. The paper draws a conclusion that Task-Based Teaching Model is effective in middle school English classroom and it can improve students comprehensive ability to a all-round development level.
