Abstract:Background: The aim of this study was to evaluate a new surgical technique by the European Transoral Endoscopic Thyroidectomy Vestibular Approach (TOETVA) Study Group. Methods: This study included 391 patients (47 [(12%]) male and 344 [(88%)] female) who had undergone endoscopic thyroid or parathyroid surgery via the vestibular approach between February 2016 and May 2022 at nine centers. The data were analyzed with regard to complications, surgery time and specimen retrieval. Results: Overall, 376 (96.2%) TOETVA and 15 (3.8%) transoral endoscopic parathyroidectomy vestibular approach interventions were performed with an average surgery time of 145 (± 61.2) minutes and 509 nerves at risk. The specimens were retrieved via a transoral vestibular and retroauricular approach in 66 (16.9%) patients and via a transaxillary approach in 8 (2%). Benign histology including Grave's disease was identified in 272 (69.6%) patients, 1 (0.3%) presented noninvasive follicular thyroid neoplasms with papillary-like nuclear features, and 103 (26.3%) showed differentiated thyroid carcinoma. Solitary parathyroid adenoma were removed in 15 (3.8%) patients. Conversion to open surgery was necessary in 13 (3.3%) and revision had to be performed in 2 (0.5%) patients. Transient recurrent laryngeal nerve palsy (RLNP) was present in 18 (4.6%) and permanent RLNP in 2 (0.5%) patients. Fifteen (3.8%) patients experienced transient hypoparathyroidism after thyroidectomy. No case of permanent hypoparathyroidism was observed. Postoperative surgical site infection occurred in 1 (0.3%) patient. Despite a higher rate of sensory and motor disorders and skin discoloration at discharge, permanent disorders were present in only 3 (0.8%) and 16 (4.1%) patients, respectively. Conclusion: Our results show that transoral endoscopic surgery, performed by experienced endocrine surgeons, is a safe alternative to conventional thyroid surgery.
Feasibility and complications after transoral endoscopic thyroidectomy via vestibular approach (TOETVA) - a single-center first experience case series

Abstract:Background: This paper reports on the first experience after implementation of a transoral endoscopic thyroidectomy via vestibular approach (TOETVA) as an alternative to (partial) thyroidectomy or isthmusectomy in a single center. Feasibility, implementation and specific complications are addressed. Methods: All patients who underwent a TOETVA procedure in our center between November 2019 and March 2023 were included. The surgical technique was performed as described by Anuwong et al. All procedures were performed by two dedicated head- and neck surgeons. Results: A total of 20 patients were included. All patients underwent TOETVA surgery as planned and no conversions were needed. Observed complications were post-operative wound infections (POWI) (2/20; 10%), clinically significant seroma (1/20, 5%) and unilateral hemiparesis of the larynx (3/20; 15%). Permanent mental nerve damage was seen in 3/20 patients (15%), and 4 other patients (20%) experienced transient neuropraxia. Conclusions: TOETVA is a feasible alternative to (partial) thyroidectomy or isthmusectomy in selected patients. Special care should be taken when placing the trocars in the oral vestibulum to prevent mental nerve damage. Experience and training are essential for implementing the TOETVA procedure. Abstract:Abstract Introduction: Thyroid tumours are a common condition and open surgery is a conventional method for treating benign thyroid tumours when surgery is indicated. In this study, we evaluate the outcomes of benign thyroid tumour treatment using transoral endoscopic thyroidectomy via vestibular approach (TOETVA) and compare the results with those of conventional open thyroidectomy (COT). Patients and Methods: We conducted a prospective cohort study between 100 patients who underwent TOETVA and 100 who underwent COT surgery for benign diseases from June 2018 to December 2021 in our hospital. Outcomes between the two groups, including post-operative complications, operative time and length of stay, were compared. Results: The surgical time in the TOETVA group was significantly longer than in the COT group. The operative time of lobectomy in the TOETVA and COT groups was 77.5 ± 13.3 and 51.5 ± 4.2 min, respectively, with a P < 0.001. The operative time of total thyroidectomy in the TOETVA and COT groups was 108.1 ± 7.0 and 65.0 ± 4.1 min, respectively, with a P < 0.001. There was no difference in post-operative length of stay between the two groups. In TOETVA group, there were no patients who converted to open surgery. Amongst all 200 patients in the study, there were no cases of post-operative bleeding. The transient hypoparathyroidism rate after surgery in the TOETVA and COT groups was 3% and 2%, respectively, with no statistically significant difference ( P = 0.651). Similarly, the transient recurrent laryngeal nerve injury rate showed no difference between the two groups, with rates of 5% and 4% in the TOETVA and COT groups, respectively ( P = 0.733). There were no cases of post-operative infection in either group in our study. At 3 months postoperatively, the cosmetic satisfaction were significantly higher in the endoscopic groups than in the conventional group ( P < 0.001). Conclusions: TOETVA is a safe and effective method, with a low complication rate and optimal aesthetic results compared to traditional surgery to treat benign thyroid tumours.

Comparison of Transoral Endoscopic Thyroidectomy Vestibular Approach and Conventional Open Thyroidectomy in Benign Thyroid Tumors

Abstract:Conventional open thyroidectomy remains the standard treatment of surgery for benign thyroid tumors but leaves a permanent scar in the neck. We conducted this study to compare the surgical outcomes of transoral endoscopic thyroidectomy vestibular approach (TOETVA) versus conventional open thyroidectomy (COT), and thence analyze the safety and viability of this approach. Seventy-eight patients who had undergone either COT or TOETVA from 2020 to 2021 in our institution to treat benign thyroid tumors were prospectively studied. Outcomes between the two groups were analyzed, including time of operation, blood loss, hospital stay, postoperative complications, and level of satisfaction. A total of 78 patients, in which TOETVA was applied to 47 patients and COT thyroid surgery was applied to 31 patients, participated in this study. COT has a shorter operative time (59.8 ± 10.8 min versus 102.3 ± 34.9 min, p < .001). TOETVA is less painful postoperatively (visual analog scale score on day 4 of 1.1 ± 1.2 versus 1.8 ± 0.7, p < .001). There were no significant differences between TOETVA and COT groups regarding incidences of transient recurrent laryngeal nerve (RLN) injury (10.6% and 6.5%, respectively, p = .697) and both transient and permanent hypoparathyroidism (8.5% versus 3.5%, p = .644 with transient and 0% versus 6.7%, p = .166 with permanent). Other complications were comparable between two arms such as bleeding, seroma, and infection. At 3 months after surgery, the TOETVA group had the significantly higher proportion of the very satisfied level than the COT group (80.9% versus 35.4%, p < .001). TOETVA in patients with favorable features is a safe, viable alternative to open thyroidectomy regarding postoperative outcomes and provide higher satisfaction after surgery in the long term.
Early outcomes in transoral vestibular thyroidectomy: Robotic versus endoscopic techniques.

Abstract:Background The transoral thyroidectomy vestibular approach has been utilized via both robotic (TORTVA) and endoscopic (TOETVA) techniques to perform thyroidectomy. However, there have been no studies evaluating outcomes between these approaches. Here we describe our outcomes for thyroid lobectomy with TORTVA and TOETVA. MethodsResultsAll cases of transoral vestibular approach thyroid lobectomy at Johns Hopkins Hospital were reviewed. Primary outcomes and demographic data were then compared between TORTVA and TOETVA. Twenty-seven cases were identified, 7 using the robotic approach and 20 using the endoscopic approach. The procedural success rate for the robotic and endoscopic cohorts was 5 of 7 (71%) and 19 of 20 (95%), respectively (P = .15). There were no persistent nerve injuries, mental, or recurrent in either cohort. Median operative time for TOETVA was 188 minutes versus 322 minutes for TORTVA (P = .001). ConclusionThyroid lobectomy can be safely performed via both techniques, although performed more quickly endoscopically, which is likely due in part to differences in the learning curves.

Abstract:Recently, natural orifice transluminal endoscopic surgery (NOTES) has been applied in thyroid surgery with transoral access. The benefit of transoral endoscopic thyroidectomy is the potential for scar-free surgery. However, there are many concerns over some aspects, such as infection, recurrent laryngeal nerve injury, and oncological outcome. In this paper, we have reviewed the development history and the current clinical evidence of this innovative surgery. We conclude that the transoral endoscopic thyroidectomy vestibular approach (TOETVA) is feasible and can be considered no longer an experimental operation.

Abstract:BACKGROUND:Despite the considerable experience gained thus far using endoscopic technologies, the role of total endoscopic thyroidectomy (ET) for papillary thyroid cancer (PTC) remains controversial. We conducted a systematic review and meta-analysis to investigate the safety and effectiveness of total ET compared with conventional open thyroidectomy (OT) in PTC. METHODS:A systematic search was conducted using the PubMed, Embase and Cochrane Library electronic databases up to March 2018. The quality of included studies was evaluated using the Newcastle-Ottawa Scale. Review Manager software version 5.3 was used for the meta-analysis. RESULTS:Twelve studies including 2,672 patients were ultimately included in the systematic review and meta-analysis. ET was associated with longer operative time (P<0.00001), drainage time (P<0.00001) and hospital stay (P=0.03), higher transient recurrent laryngeal nerve (RLN) palsy rate (P=0.004) and a greater amount of drainage fluid (P<0.0001) compared with OT. Furthermore, no significant differences were detected between ET and OT in terms of retrieved lymph nodes (P=0.17), blood loss (P=0.22), transient hypocalcemia (P=0.84), permanent hypocalcemia (P=0.58), permanent RLN palsy (P=0.14), hematoma or bleeding (P=0.15) and seroma (P=0.54). In addition, the rates of tumor recurrence were comparable (P=0.18), whereas the proportions of stimulated thyroglobulin levels <1 ng/mL measured after completion of thyroidectomy and radioactive iodine therapy were less (P=0.02) in the ET than in the OT group. CONCLUSION:ET is not superior to OT in terms of operation and drainage time, amount of drainage fluid, hospital stay or transient RLN palsy, but is comparable to OT in terms of retrieved lymph nodes and permanent complications. Despite the similar tumor recurrence rates between the two approaches, the level of surgical completeness in ET may not be as good as that for OT.

Abstract:Background: Ambulatory thyroid surgery has been increasingly performed in recent years. However, the feasibility of the ambulatory transoral endoscopic thyroidectomy vestibular approach (TOETVA) has not been evaluated. We aimed to evaluate the safety, economy, and mental health outcomes of ambulatory TOETVA. Methods: We retrospectively reviewed the data of patients who underwent TOETVA between March 2019 and August 2022. The procedure was performed by a skilled surgical team from the Department of Thyroid Surgery of the affiliated Yantai Yuhuangding Hospital of Qingdao University. Patients were enrolled in the ambulatory (n=166) and conventional (n=290) groups, based on their chosen procedure. We analyzed patients' clinical characteristics, surgical outcomes, Hamilton Anxiety Rating Scale (HAM-A) scores, and hospitalization costs. Results: Of 456 patients, 166 underwent ambulatory TOETVA and 290 underwent conventional TOETVA. No significant differences were found in clinical and surgical characteristics between the groups, including sex (P=0.363), age (P=0.077), body mass index (P=0.351), presence of internal diseases (P=0.613), presence of Hashimoto's thyroiditis (P=0.429), pathology (P=0.362), maximum tumor diameter (P=0.520), scope of surgery (P=0.850), or operative time (P=0.351). There were no significant differences in maximum tumor diameter (P=0.349), extrathyroidal tissue invasion (P=0.516), number of retrieved central lymph nodes (P=0.069), or metastatic central lymph nodes (P=0.897) between the groups. No significant differences were found in complications, including transient hypoparathyroidism (P=0.438), transient vocal cord palsy (P=0.876), transient mental nerve injury (P=0.749), permanent mental nerve injury (P=0.926), and other complications (P=1.000). Ambulatory patients had shorter hospital stays (P<0.001) and reduced hospitalization costs (P<0.001). There was no significant difference in HAM-A scores between the groups (P=0.056). Conclusions: Ambulatory TOETVA is a safe, feasible, and cost-effective procedure for selected patients. This procedure resulted in shorter hospital stays, decreased medical costs, and did not increase patient anxiety. To ensure patient safety, surgical teams must inform patients of the indications, when to seek help, and how to receive the fastest medical attention.

Abstract:Objectives Intraoperative neuromonitoring has not been routinely applied in early experience with the transoral endoscopic thyroidectomy vestibular approach (TOETVA). Because the preparation and surgical interventions are much different from conventional thyroidectomies, most endocrine surgeons willing to adapt to TOETVA lack access to information regarding the practice pattern and proficiency in the learning curve. We aimed to investigate the outcomes and to define the learning curve for TOETVA in this study. Methods A retrospective analysis was used on patients who underwent TOETVA at our hospital between December 2016 and July 2019. The cumulative sum graphic model was used to implement the learning curve as a surrogate for procedural proficiency. Results The 119 patients had a mean age of 44.65 years and a mean body mass index of 22.49 k/m 2 , including 107 women, 20 thyroiditis, and 106 hemithyroidectomy. The learning curve revealed two phases, an initial (35 cases) and a mature (84 cases) phase, for surgeons based on operation time (144.2 vs . 114.2 min, p = 0.0001). There were more bilateral thyroidectomies (15.5% vs . 0, p = 0.0100), larger indicated nodules (6.06 cm 3 vs . 3.32 cm 3 , p = 0.0468), or larger thyroids to resect (16.38 cm 3 vs . 8.75 cm 3 , p = 0.0001) in the mature phase. Procedure-related complications decreased significantly in the mature phase in comparison to the initial phase (3.57% vs . 31.43%, p = 0.0001). Conclusions The learning curve of TOETVA with neuromonitoring is 35 cases. With the accumulation of proficiency, the indications will expand. Step-by-step improvements from the experience of each case can reduce procedure-related complications.

Abstract:Endoscopic surgery is now standard of care for different Endocrine Disorders; the endoscopic thyroid surgery is becoming more popular and different approaches has been practice by many thyroid surgeon worldwide. Trans-orovestibular approach, based on the principle of natural orifice transluminal surgery is truly scar free thyroid surgery and has minimal dissection. We are presenting here three cases of benign solitary thyroid nodule operated endoscopically through trans-oro-vestibular approach in one male and two female patients. Described about the approach, challenges during surgery and outcome. These surgeries documented very few in literatures in live human patients. Transoral endoscopic thyroid surgery through vestibular approach is shortest and direct remote access approach. The need of limited dissection in this approach provides less complication and excellent cosmetic outcome in strictly selected patients.
Comparison of Surgical Outcomes of Transoral Versus Open Thyroidectomy for Graves Disease

Abstract:Introduction: The transoral endoscopic thyroidectomy vestibular approach (TOETVA) is a safe alternative to thyroidectomy for thyroid goiter and provides the benefit of being scarless. However, the data on the use of TOETVA in patients with Graves disease are limited. This retrospective study compared the outcomes of Graves disease patients who underwent TOETVA versus those who underwent open thyroidectomy (OT). Materials and Methods: Patients with Graves disease who received TOETVA or OT for bilateral total thyroidectomy between September 2017 and October 2022 were included. Patient demographics and surgical outcomes, including operation time, blood loss, length of stay, and complications, were compared. Results: There were 15 patients in each group. The mean age in the TOETVA group was 35.80±8.13 years, which was significantly younger than that in the OT group, which was 51.53±14.22 years. Females predominated in both groups. The other demographic characteristics were similar in both groups. The operation time and intraoperative blood loss were also comparable. The postoperative stay and complications, including hypoparathyroidism, recurrent laryngeal nerve injury, surgical site infection, postoperative hemorrhage, and recurrence of hyperthyroidism, were not different between the 2 groups. There were 11 patients in the TOETVA group and 10 in the OT group who had thyroglobulin levels <0.1 ng/dL, indicating the completeness of total thyroidectomy in the 2 groups. There was no conversion of TOETVA to an open procedure. Conclusions: For carefully selected Graves patients, TOETVA offers a safe, scarless, and feasible alternative to conventional open thyroidectomy.

Abstract:Objective: We sought to compare the effect of applying a 5-mm endoscope and a 10-mm endoscope in the transoral endoscopic thyroidectomy vestibular approach (TOETVA) and to clarify the advantages of using a 5-mm endoscope. Materials and Methods: A retrospective analysis of the clinical data of 135 patients who were diagnosed with papillary thyroid carcinoma and who had undergone TOETVA in the thyroid disease center of The First Affiliated Hospital of Nanchang University between January 2019 and May 2020 was performed. Among the included patients, a 10-mm endoscope was used in 50 cases (the 10-mm endoscope group) and a 5-mm endoscope was used in 85 cases (the 5-mm endoscope group), respectively. Operative trauma, operative parameters, postoperative complications, and postoperative mandibular sensation score were compared and analyzed. Results: Compared with the 10-mm endoscope group, the 5-mm endoscope group had less surgical trauma, less injury to the mandibular muscles (orbicularis oris, depressor labii inferioris, and mentalis muscle), shorter operative times (107.7 +/- 8.1 vs. 121.3 +/- 11.6 min, P<0.01), less intraoperative bleeding (14.3 +/- 4.8 vs. 17.9 +/- 5.3 mL, P<0.01), no obvious postoperative complications, lower mandibular sensation score values (5.7 +/- 0.6 vs. 6.0 +/- 0.4 points, P<0.01), and shorter mandibular recovery times (9.4 +/- 2.5 vs. 12.3 +/- 3.6 d, P<0.01). Conclusion: The application of a 5-mm endoscope not only improves the cosmetic effect of TOETVA but also reduces the degree of surgical trauma, saves the surgical space, improves the surgical efficiency, and reduces postoperative discomfort, with a promising application prospect.

Abstract:BackgroundTo conduct a meta-analysis to compare the short-term outcomes of transoral thyroidectomy vestibular approach (TOTVA) with non-transoral endoscopic thyroidectomy (NTET).MethodsMEDLINE, EMBASE, science citation index expanded, and the Cochrane Central Register of Controlled Trials in the Cochrane Library from January 2007 to January 2021 were searched for relevant literature. The evaluated endpoints were intra-operative and post-operative outcomes.ResultsTen eligible, non-randomized comparative studies involving 1677 patients were included. Meta-analysis results revealed that TOTVA was associated with significantly longer operative time [weighted mean differences (WMD), 22.60; 95%confidence interval (CI), 7.51–37.69; P = 0.003]. No significant differences were found between TOTVA group and NTET group in terms of post-operative outcomes.ConclusionTOTVA appears to be an equally feasible and safe surgical procedure as NTET for patients with benign thyroid nodules and selected differentiated thyroid carcinomas.

Abstract:Background Transoral endoscopic thyroidectomy vestibular approach is feasible and safe but has some unavoidable limitations, such as sensory changes in the center of the chin region. We aim to report our initial experience in performing transoral endoscopic thyroidectomy via the submental and vestibular approach for the treatment of thyroid cancer. Patients and Methods This retrospective cohort study included patients with thyroid cancer confirmed by fine-needle aspiration who underwent endoscopic thyroidectomy and central lymph node dissection via the submental and vestibular approaches between November 2019 and January 2020. Patients’ clinicopathological characteristics, operation details, and postoperative complications were analyzed. Results Fifteen surgeries were performed successfully. The mean ± standard deviation age of the patients was 37 ± 10.8 years, the average duration of surgery was 146.5 ± 34.6 min, and the median intraoperative blood loss was 11.1 ± 6.3 mL. None of the surgeries were converted to open thyroidectomy. According to postoperative pathology, all cases involved papillary thyroid carcinoma or papillary thyroid microcarcinoma. One patient developed transient recurrent laryngeal nerve paralysis. No patient developed skin numbness at the center of the chin region. Conclusions Transoral endoscopic thyroidectomy via the submental and vestibular approach is effective and safe in patients with thyroid cancer and does not lead to skin numbness at the center of the chin region. This technique is beneficial for surgeons less experienced in performing transoral thyroid surgery as it involves using a short and direct route to the thyroid gland, which can reduce the difficulty in establishing the first operative space to some extent.

Abstract:BackgroundThe development of transoral endoscopic vestibular approach thyroidectomy (TOETVA) has been limited by inherent defects, such as mental nerve injury and carbon dioxide (CO2)-related complications. Herein, we proposed a new technique without CO2 called gasless submental-transoral combined approach endoscopic thyroidectomy (STET) to solve the problems in TOETVA.MethodsWe reviewed 75 patients who successfully underwent gasless STET using novel instruments at our institution from November 2020 to November 2021. A main incision of approximately 2 cm was made in the natural submental crease line and then combined with two vestibule incisions to complete the procedure. Demographic data, surgical technique and perioperative outcomes were retrospectively recorded.ResultsThirteen male and sixty-two female patients with a mean age of 34.0 ± 8.1 years were enrolled in this study. Sixty-eight patients had papillary thyroid carcinomas and seven had benign nodules. We successfully performed all gasless STET without conversion to open surgery. The average postoperative hospital stay was 4.2 ± 1.8 days. One transient recurrent laryngeal nerve injury and two transient hypoparathyroidisms were observed. Three patients complained of slight lower lip numbness on the first postoperative day. One case of lymphatic fistula, subcutaneous effusion, and incision swelling occurred each, all of which were conservatively cured. One patient developed a recurrence six months after surgery.ConclusionsGasless STET using our own designed suspension system is technically safe and feasible with reasonable operative and oncologic results.

Abstract:Objective: Most thyroid surgery in North America is completed via a cervical incision, which leaves a permanent scar. Approaches without cutaneous incisions offer aesthetic advantages. This series represents the largest series of transoral vestibular approaches to the central neck in North America, and the first published reports of robotic transoral vestibular thyroidectomy for thyroid carcinoma.Materials and methods: Data was prospectively collected for patients that underwent transoral vestibular approach thyroidectomy and/or parathyroidectomy between April 2016 and February 2017.Results: Fifteen patients underwent the procedure for removal of the thyroid (n = 12), parathyroid (n = 2) or both thyroid and parathyroid glands (n = 1). The first case was converted to an open procedure. Fourteen were completed through these remote access incisions, including patients with a body mass index as high as 44. There were no permanent complications. The postoperative median Dermatology Life Quality Index score was 3, which indicates a small effect on quality of life.Conclusion: The transoral vestibular approach to the central neck is a promising technique for patients who desire to optimize aesthetics. Transoral endoscopic thyroid surgery in a Korean population

Abstract:Background: Transoral endoscopic thyroidectomy vestibular approach is expected to be a safe alternative to open surgery for certain patients and has been used increasingly by several surgeons around the world for the past 2 years. The purpose of this paper is to review our 2-year experience and describe in detail our preoperative considerations, patient selection, operating room settings, anesthetic considerations, surgical technique, postoperative management, and outcomes. Methods: We reviewed the medical records of 65 consecutive patients who underwent transoral endoscopic thyroidectomy between July 2016 and May 2018 in our hospital. Results: We have performed 65 thyroid surgeries (54 thyroid lobectomies, 1 completion thyroidectomy, and 10 total thyroidectomies) in 64 patients. Postoperative pathology revealed papillary carcinoma in 55 patients (84.6%), follicular carcinoma in two (3.1%), hyalinizing trabecular tumor in one (1.5%), and other benign tumor in seven (10.8%). All surgical margins were negative. Two (3.1%) patients developed transient vocal cord palsy but recovered within 2 months. One (1.5%) patient with vocal cord palsy had not recovered by 3 months after surgery. Five (7.7%) patients who underwent total thyroidectomy developed transient hypocalcemia but recovered within 2 months. Conclusion: Although transoral thyroid surgery is a relatively recent technique requiring further validation, it affords several advantages. Transoral thyroid surgery has not yet been universally accepted, but may be the best choice for thyroid surgery in the future.

Abstract:Although the success rates of non-surgical treatments for Graves' disease such as antithyroid medication and radioiodine ablation were good, there were still failure of treatments or intolerance for some patients. Traditional thyroid surgery could treat these patients but result in unaesthetic neck scars. Herein, we report the preliminary results of our combination of treatments with the transoral endoscopic thyroidectomy vestibular approach for Graves' disease. A retrospective review of patients who underwent the transoral endoscopic thyroidectomy vestibular approach for the treatment of different sizes of goiters between January 2019 and December 2020 was performed. The demographic and clinical data of patients were collected. All patients were followed up for > 12 months. Each patient's goiter size was determined using four grades—from 0 to 3. In total, 14 female patients receiving the combination treatment with > 1 year of follow-up and a median (range) age of 35 (20–48) years at surgery were included. There were two, three, four, and five patients with grade 0, 1, 2, and 3 goiters, respectively. The median (range) intraoperative blood loss was higher in grade 3 patients (100 [20–850] mL) than in grade 2 patients (20 [10–200] mL) and grade 1 and 0 patients (both < 10 mL) ( p = 0.033). All patients had normal-looking necks with a euthyroid or hypothyroid status within 1 year. There were no complications, including re-operation for bleeding, hypoparathyroidism, vocal cord palsy, or infections. The designed combination treatment with the transoral endoscopic thyroidectomy vestibular approach for Graves' disease provides optimal cosmetic results with a high success rate.
