Abstract:Fang et al. report associations between host genomics and human milk microbiota (HMM) among 885 mothers of the CHILD Cohort Study. Exposure to some of these heritable milk microbes may promote or protect the later development of childhood asthma and food/inhalant sensitization among milk-fed infants.
