Abstract:The authors report that the following errors occurred in transcribing the results of the statistical computations into the abstract and text. In the , "insulin dose at baseline, 27% lower (P = 2 × 10−39)" should be "insulin dose at baseline, 9% lower (P = 2 × 10−17)." In the Results, under the section C-Peptide Association with Insulin Dose, "(ratio of geometric means 0.91, P = 2 × 10−39)" should be "(ratio of geometric means 0.91, P = 2 × 10−17)."
