Abstract:In this paper we consider the stability for a type of stochastic McKean-Vlasov equation with non-Lipschitz coefficients. First, sufficient conditions are given for the exponential stability of second moments for their solutions in terms of a Lyapunov function. Then we weaken the conditions and furthermore obtain the exponentially 2-ultimate boundedness of their solutions. After this, the almost surely asymptotic stability of their solutions is proved. Finally we give an example to motivate the choice of Lyapunov functions.

Abstract:We deduce stability and pathwise uniqueness for a McKean–Vlasov equation with random coefficients and a multidimensional Brownian motion as driver. Our analysis focuses on a non-Lipschitz continuous drift and includes moment estimates for random Itô processes that are of independent interest. For deterministic coefficients, we provide unique strong solutions even if the drift fails to be of affine growth. The theory that we develop rests on Itô's formula and leads to p th moment and pathwise exponential stability for with explicit Lyapunov exponents.

Abstract:Abstract. The work concerns the stability and path-independence of additive functionals for a type of multivalued McKean-Vlasov stochastic differential equations with non-Lipschitz coefficients. First, we prove the existence and uniqueness of strong solutions for multivalued McKean-Vlasov stochastic differential equation with non-Lipschitz coefficients. And then, the exponential stability of second moments for their solutions in terms of a Lyapunov function is shown. Stability of the numerical scheme for stochastic McKean-Vlasov equations

Abstract:This paper studies the infinite-time stability of the numerical scheme for stochastic McKean-Vlasov equations (SMVEs) via stochastic particle method. The long-time propagation of chaos in mean-square sense is obtained, with which the almost sure propagation in infinite horizon is proved by exploiting the Chebyshev inequality and the Borel-Cantelli lemma. Then the mean-square and almost sure exponential stabilities of the Euler-Maruyama scheme associated with the corresponding interacting particle system are shown through an ingenious manipulation of empirical measure. Combining the assertions enables the numerical solutions to reproduce the stabilities of the original SMVEs. The examples are demonstrated to reveal the importance of this study.

Abstract: The work concerns multivalued McKean-Vlasov stochastic differential equations. First of all, we prove the existence and uniqueness of strong solutions for multivalued McKean-Vlasov stochastic differential equations with non-Lipschitz coefficients. Then, the classical It\^{o}'s formula is extended to that for multivalued McKean-Vlasov stochastic differential equations. Finally, the asymptotic stability of second moments and the almost surely asymptotic stability for their solutions in terms of a Lyapunov function are shown. As a byproduct, we also obtain the conditions under which invariant probability measures for multivalued McKean-Vlasov stochastic differential equations exist.

Abstract:In this paper, we consider the stochastic averaging principle and stability for multi-valued McKean-Vlasov stochastic differential equations with jumps. First, under certain averaging conditions, we are able to show that the solutions of the equations concerned can be approximated by solutions of the associated averaged multi-valued McKean-Vlasov stochastic differential equations with jumps in the sense of the mean square convergence. Second, we extend the classical Itô's formula from stochastic differential equations to multi-valued McKean-Vlasov stochastic differential equations with jumps. Last, as application of Itô's formula, we present the exponential stability of second moments, the exponentially 2-ultimate boundedness and the almost surely asymptotic stability for their solutions in terms of a Lyapunov function.

Abstract:In this paper, we study the stability of solutions of stochastic McKean-Vlasov equations (SMVEs) via feedback control based on discrete-time state observation. By using a specific Lyapunov function, the $H_{\infty}$ stability, asymptotic stability and exponential stability in mean square for the solution of the controlled systems are obtained. Since the distribution of solution is difficult to be observed, we study the corresponding particle system which can be observed for the feedback control. We prove that the exponential stability of control system is equivalent to the the exponential stability of the corresponding particle system. Finally, an example is provided to show the effectiveness of the theory.

Abstract:This paper studies a class of McKean-Vlasov stochastic functional differential equations in which the dynamics of the underlying process may depend on its history as well as the distribution of the history. These stochastic processes provide a general and versatile framework for modeling and analyzing complex systems with inherent distribution- and memory-dependent dynamical behaviors. Under mild conditions, this paper establishes the well-posedness for the associated McKean-Vlasov stochastic functional differential equations and derives a propagation of chaos as well as a continuity with respect to the initial distribution result. Abstract:We consider McKean–Vlasov stochastic differential equations (MVSDEs), which are SDEs where the drift and diffusion coefficients depend not only on the state of the unknown process but also on its probability distribution. This type of SDEs was studied in statistical physics and represents the natural setting for stochastic mean-field games. We will first discuss questions of existence and uniqueness of solutions under an Osgood type condition improving the well-known Lipschitz case. Then, we derive various stability properties with respect to initial data, coefficients and driving processes, generalizing known results for classical SDEs. Finally, we establish a result on the approximation of the solution of a MVSDE associated to a relaxed control by the solutions of the same equation associated to strict controls. As a consequence, we show that the relaxed and strict control problems have the same value function. This last property improves known results proved for a special class of MVSDEs, where the dependence on the distribution was made via a linear functional.

Abstract:The p-th moment exponential stability of stochastic differential equations with impulse effect is addressed. By employing the method of vector Lyapunov functions, some sufficient conditions for the p-th moment exponential stability are established. In addition, the usual restriction of the growth rate of Lyapunov function is replaced by the condition of the drift and diffusion coefficients to study the p-th moment exponential stability. Several examples are also discussed to illustrate the effectiremess of the results obtained.

Abstract:This technical note presents necessary and sufficient conditions for $2p$th moment stability of several widely used linear stochastic systems. By the matrix derivative operator and vectorial Itô's formula, we first derive two extended systems: one is described by stochastic differential equation (SDE) and the other by ordinary differential equation (ODE). It is shown that the stochastic system is $2p$th-moment exponentially stable if and only if the SDE is mean-square exponentially stable or the ODE is exponentially stable. Subsequently, combining the quasi-periodic homogeneous polynomial Lyapunov function methods with the proposed techniques, a series of nonconservative stability criteria are established for linear impulsive, sampled-data, and switched stochastic systems under dwell-time constraints. A numerical example illustrates the proposed theoretical results.

Abstract:In this paper, we prove the existence and uniqueness of solutions as well as ergodicity for McKean-Vlasov SDEs under Lyapunov conditions, in which the Lyapunov functions are defined on $\mathbb R^d\times \mathcal P_2(\mathbb R^d)$, i.e. the Lyapunov functions depend not only on space variable but also on distribution variable. It is reasonable and natural to consider distribution-dependent Lyapunov functions since the coefficients depends on distribution variable. We apply the martingale representation theorem and a modified Yamada-Watanabe theorem to obtain the existence and uniqueness of solutions. Furthermore, the Krylov-Bogolioubov theorem is used to get ergodicity since it is valid by linearity of the corresponding Fokker-Planck equations on $\mathbb R^d\times \mathcal P_2(\mathbb R^d)$. In particular, if the Lyapunov function depends only on space variable, we obtain exponential ergodicity for semigroup $P_t^*$ under Wasserstein quasi-distance. Finally, we give some examples to illustrate our theoretical results.

Abstract:In this paper, the problems on the pth moment and the almost sure exponential stability for a class of impulsive neutral stochastic functional differential equations with Markovian switching are investigated. By using the Lyapunov function, the Razumikhin-type theorem and the stochastic analysis, some new conditions about the pth moment exponential stability are first obtained. Then, by using the Borel-Cantelli lemma, the almost sure exponential stability is also discussed. The results generalise and improve some results obtained in the existing literature. Finally, two examples are given to illustrate the obtained results.

Abstract:This manuscript focuses on a class of stochastic functional differential equations driven by time-changed Brownian motion. By utilizing the Lyapunov method, we capture some sufficient conditions to ensure that the solution for the considered equation is η -stable in the p th moment sense. Subsequently, we present some new criteria of the η -stability in mean square by using time-changed Itô formula and proof by contradiction. Finally, we provide some examples to demonstrate the effectiveness of our main results.

Abstract:We establish stability and pathwise uniqueness of solutions to Wiener noise driven McKean-Vlasov equations with random non-Lipschitz continuous coefficients. In the deterministic case, we also obtain the existence of unique strong solutions. By using our approach, which is based on an extension of the Yamada-Watanabe ansatz to the multidimensional setting and which does not rely on the construction of Lyapunov functions, we prove first moment and pathwise exponential stability. Furthermore, Lyapunov exponents are computed explicitly.

Abstract:This paper mainly discusses the pth moment asymptotic stability and the exponential stability of nonlinear stochastic functional differential equations (SFDEs) satisfying the local Lipschitz condition but not the linear growth condition. These new conditions assume that the coefficients of SFDEs are polynomials or dominated by polynomials. We establish some sufficient conditions for the pth moment asymptotic stability and the exponential stability of nonlinear SFDEs by applying some novel techniques. Some nontrivial examples are provided to illustrate our results.

Abstract:In this paper, we study a type of stochastic McKean–Vlasov equations with non-Lipschitz coefficients. Firstly, by an Euler–Maruyama approximation the existence of its weak solutions is proved. Then we observe the pathwise uniqueness of its weak solutions.
