Abstract:Acute pancreatitis is one of the acute abdominal diseases with extremely high incidence in clinical practice. The occurrence of this disease is related to the activation of pancreatic enzymes caused by various factors. Its main clinical manifestations include pancreatic infection, bleeding, necrosis, shock, and peritonitis, which can severely lead to organ failure. [ 1 ] Clinically, the disease is divided into severe or mild acute pancreatitis according to the patients' clinical manifestations and organ function. Mild acute pancreatitis refers to patients with acute pancreatitis-related clinical manifestations and biochemical changes, but without organ dysfunction or local complications. [ 2 ] Although the course of mild acute pancreatitis is relatively mild compared with severe acute pancreatitis, improper treatment may still lead to deterioration of the condition, increasing the economic burden of patients and the consumption of medical resources. Therefore, effective management of mild acute pancreatitis is particularly important. Acute pancreatitis usually occurs suddenly, and the disease progresses very quickly. If the patients do not receive timely and effective treatment, the risk of systemic inflammation will increase significantly with the further development of the disease, which will severely affect the life, health, and life quality of the sufferers. [ 3 ] Clinical studies have clearly pointed out [ 4 ] that the implementation of efficient and active treatment plans and nursing techniques for patients with mild acute pancreatitis can improve disease symptoms and patient prognosis. Routine nursing intervention can prevent related complications, but with the improvement of medical level and life quality, this nursing model has been difficult to meet the needs of sufferers. [ 5 ] As a standardized nursing management model, the clinical nursing pathway aims to improve nursing quality, optimize resource allocation, and reduce medical errors by clarifying nursing processes and measures, thereby enhancing treatment outcomes and patient satisfaction. In the nursing of mild acute pancreatitis, implementing the clinical nursing pathway can provide patients with more standardized and personalized nursing services, contributing to shortened hospital stays, reduced complications, and accelerated recovery. This article aims to analyze the effects of applying the clinical care pathway model in the care of sufferers with mild acute pancreatitis. The specific content is organized as follows.
