The Upgrading of the Chinese Industry in View of Intra-product Specialization——Under the Experiential Research of the Chinese Toy Export

Abstract:Under the economic globalization,the intra-product specialization and the caused international trade model can optimize the collocation of the global resources,which is benefit to the improvement of the world welfare.But to different countries,its income isn't the same because of the different locations embedded in the value chains.And such kind of specialization model will form and increase the technology differences among countries,which will farther reinforce the upgrading of the inside industry structure.The paper analyzes the Chinese industry upgrading obstacles brought by the OEM model under the intra-product specialization frame with endogenous growth theory and leap-frogging theory for reference.The research indicates that the Chinese industry upgrading faces a dilemma under intra-product specialization,and independent technology innovation might break through the obstacles and realize the industry upgrading.
