Abstract:OBJECTIVE:To explore the factors influencing doctors' job satisfaction and morale in China, in the context of the ongoing health system reforms and the deteriorating doctor-patient relationship.DESIGN:Cross-sectional survey using self-completion questionnaires.STUDY SETTING:The survey was conducted from March to May 2012 among doctors at the provincial, county and primary care levels in Zhejiang Province, China.RESULTS:The questionnaire was completed by 202 doctors. Factors which contributed most to low job satisfaction were low income and long working hours. Provincial level doctors were most dissatisfied while primary care doctors were the least dissatisfied. Three per cent of doctors at high-level hospitals and 27% of those in primary care were satisfied with the salary. Only 7% at high-level hospitals were satisfied with the work hours, compared to 43% in primary care. Less than 10% at high levels were satisfied with the amount of paid vacation time (3%) and paid sick leave (5%), compared with 38% and 41%, respectively, in primary care. Overall, 87% reported that patients were more likely to sue and that patient violence against doctors was increasing. Only 4.5% wanted their children to be doctors. Of those 125 who provided a reason, 34% said poor pay, 17% said it was a high-risk profession, and 9% expressed concerns about personal insecurity or patient violence.CONCLUSIONS:Doctors have low job satisfaction overall. Recruitment and retention of doctors have become major challenges for the Chinese health system. Measures must be taken to address this, in order to ensure recruitment and retention of doctors in the future. These measures must first include reduction of doctors' workload, especially at provincial hospitals, partly through incentivisation of appropriate utilisation of primary care, increase in doctors' salary and more effective measures to tackle patient violence against doctors.

Abstract:Renewable energy resources, such as wind, wave and solar, have become and will continue to be an important source for power generation worldwide. The global renewable energy electric power capacity has increased to 1849 GW (including hydro) in 2015, which was estimated to be 23.7% of the global electricity production. In 2015, the G7 and G20 governments agreed to accelerate the development of renewable energy. Power electronic technologies (such as various converters and inverters) are often used to integrate renewable energy generators into the power grid. In these renewable energy generation systems, control systems are employed to guarantee various system performances such as optimal power generation, mechanical load reduction, vibration suppression, reduction of losses in AC/DC/AC conversion, suppression of unwanted current harmonics, system stability and fault ride-through, load sharing, etc. Thus, it is clear that control theory and technology plays a central role in the generation of renewable energy. Given the demand, it is unsurprising that this area has attracted the attention of many control systems researchers. The main aim of this special issue is to provide the latest results inmany of themain areas of current research and to provide pointers to open research problems. Particular topics addressed include the control of wind turbines, control of marine wave energy converters, control of solar power systems, control of switched power converters for renewable energy and the grid integration of renewable energy. Welfare, Wellness, And Job Satisfaction Of Chinese Physicians: A National Survey Of Public Tertiary Hospitals In China

Abstract:Little national data are available on Chinese physicians' welfare, wellness, and job satisfaction. We conducted a self-administered smartphone-based national survey in early 2016 of 17 945 physicians from 136 tertiary hospitals across 31 provinces in China. In addition to collecting the physicians' basic information, we also measured 5 domains (the ethical and working environments, welfare, wellness, and job satisfaction). Half of the physicians reported a hospital-based annual income of less than RMB 72 000 ($10 300), and 60.31% of them did not think that the current medical pricing system reflects physicians' value. More than half (58.64%) of them did not have or did not know about medical malpractice insurance. These physicians worked long hours (an average of 10 h) and slept short hours (average 6 h). Only 35.78% of them thought that they were in good health, and 51.03% were in good mental health. Approximately, a quarter of them had helped to pay medical bills for patients who could not afford care, and 1 in 7 has been penalised for seeing patients who generated bad debts. Only 33.42% of them thought that their occupation receives social recognition and respect, and 70.98% would not encourage their children to pursue a medical career. The top 3 factors that may influence physician job satisfaction as chosen by the physicians were as follows: (1) the income distribution policy (45.92%), (2) working environment safety (25.86%), and (3) public trust and respect for their job (16.10%). In conclusion, we found that Chinese physicians bear heavy physical, mental, and financial stress, and many of them lack confidence that they receive trust and respect from society.

Abstract:Background: Primary care physicians are particularly prone to high levels of burnout and poor well-being. Despite this, no qualitative studies have specifically investigated the best ways to improve well-being and prevent burnout in primary care physicians. Previous interventions within primary care have been person-oriented and mainly focused on mindfulness, but there has been no prior research on whether general practitioners (GPs) deem this to be the best approach.Objectives: To explore strategies that could improve GP well-being and reduce or prevent burnout, based on GP perceptions of the workplace factors that affect their levels of well-being and burnout.Methods: Five focus groups were conducted, with 25 GPs (locums, salaried, trainees, and partners) in the UK, between September 2015 and February 2016. Focus groups took place in GP practices and private meeting rooms. Discussions were centered on the workplace factors that they perceived to influence their well-being, along with strategies that they use either personally, or as a practice, to try and prevent burnout. Furthermore, strategies that could feasibly be implemented by individuals and practices to improve well-being, as well as changes that are needed by groups or organizations that are external to their practice (e.g., the government) to improve the working conditions, were explored. Thematic analysis was conducted on the transcripts.Results: Based on the contributors to burnout and workplace well-being that the participants identified, the following feasible strategies were suggested: compulsory daily coffee breaks, increasing self- and organizational awareness of the risks of burnout and mentoring or buddy systems. System-level organizational changes were voiced as vital, however, to improve the well-being of all primary care physicians. Increasing resources seemed to be the ideal solution, to allow for more administrative staff and GPs.Conclusion: These strategies merit further consideration by researchers, physicians, healthcare organizations and policy makers both in the UK and beyond. Failure to do so may result in healthcare staff becoming even more burntout, potentially leading to a loss of doctors from the workforce.

Abstract:Problems with health-related quality of life can affect physicians' ability to work effectively. This study compared the health-related quality of life of Hong Kong physicians to the general population and explored the factors associated with mental and physical health-related quality of life. This cross-sectional study was conducted from January to April 2016. Medical graduates from the University of Hong Kong participated in a survey containing the Short Form-12 Item Health survey version 2, Patient Health Questionnaire-9, Copenhagen Burnout Inventory, and items on lifestyle behaviors, career satisfaction, and socio-demographics. 496 responses were received. The mean physical component summary score was 53.2 (SD = 7.6), similar to the general population. The mean mental component summary score was 43.6 (SD = 11.8), significantly worse than the general population (P<0.01). Compared to the general population, all Short-Form 12 Health Survey version 2 domains were worse in doctors, aside from bodily pain and general health. Regular exercise was positively associated with physical component summary scores (Coeff 2.024; P = 0.047); but having children and higher personal burnout scores were negatively associated with it (Coeff -1.890; P = 0.036; and Coeff -0.045; P = 0.027, respectively). Poorer mental component summary scores correlated with worse personal (Coeff -0.284; P< 0.001), work-related (Coeff -0.135; P = 0.040), and patient-related burnout (Coeff -0.060; P = 0.041), and higher Patient Health Questionnaire-9 scores (Coeff -9.170; P<0.001). There were significant differences in mental health (P = 0.042) and mental component summary scores (P = 0.012) across age groups, but not with gender. Hong Kong physicians are less impacted by physical health than mental health. Compared to the general population, doctors' mental health has a more significant impact on their lives. Interventions aimed to improve burnout and depression rates in physicians may improve physicians' mental health-related quality of life.

Abstract:Minimal research has explored the personal experience of burnout in doctors from any medical speciality. Consequently, we aimed to provide a relatable description and understanding of this globally recognised problem. We employed an interpretative phenomenological analysis (IPA) of face-to-face interviews with seven general practitioners (GPs) in Northern Ireland, having selected interviewees best able to speak about burnout. We sought to understand how these GPs understood their burnout experiences. Our participants' continuous work involved more than their busy weekdays and also working on supposedly off evenings and weekends. In addition, draining intrusive thoughts of work filled most, if not all, of their other waking moments. There was no respite. Work was 'always there.' Being constantly busy, they had no time to think or attend to patients as doctors. Instead, participants were going through the motions like GP automatons. Their effectiveness, efficiency, and caring were failing, while their interactions with patients had changed as they tried to conserve their now-drained energy and empathy. There was no time left for their families or themselves. They now "existed" to continuously work rather than "living" their previous, more balanced lives that at one time included enjoying being a doctor. Worryingly, participants were struggling, isolated, and vulnerable, yet unwilling to speak to someone they trusted. We intend our burnout narrative to promote discussion between medical colleagues and assist in its recognition by GPs and other doctors. Our findings warn against working excessively, prioritising work ahead of family and oneself, and self-isolation rather than seeking necessary support.
A latent profile analysis of doctors' joy in work at public hospitals

Abstract:Introduction: When doctors' work stress increases, their joy in work decreases, severely affecting the quality of care and threatening patient safety. Analysis of the latent categories of joy in work of doctors in public hospitals and the differences in the characteristics of each category can help uncover hidden messages that enhance doctors' joy in work. Methods: Questionnaires were administered to 426 doctors working in public hospitals using the general information questionnaire and the public hospital doctor's joy in work evaluation scale. Upon identifying their potential categories using latent profile analysis, chi-square test, and multinomial logistic regression were performed to analyze the differences in the characteristics of each category. Results: The 426 public hospital doctors could be divided into three potential categories: "low joy in work" (11.27%), "medium joy in work" (59.86%), and "high joy in work" (28.87%). Most of the doctors did not have much joy in work, with 71.13% of them having "low to medium joy in work." Doctors who work in secondary or tertiary hospitals, have a personnel agency or contract, and are older than 45 years are more likely to belong to the "low joy in work" category. Some of the protective factors are having an average monthly income (RMB) of 10,001–15,000 yuan and having a fair or good self-rated health status. Conclusion: There are obvious classification characteristics of doctors' level of joy in work. Hospital managers can take commensurate actions to improve their joy in work, thereby improving patient safety and the quality of medical services.

Abstract:Objective To estimate the prevalence and severity of burnout and explore the factors associated with burnout among Hong Kong medical graduates up to 20 years post-graduation. Design Cross-sectional survey. Setting Hong Kong. Participants Doctors who graduated from the University of Hong Kong between 1995 and 2014. Primary and secondary outcome measures Burnout as measured by the Copenhagen Burnout Inventory (CBI), alcohol consumption as measured by the Alcohol Use Disorders Identification Test Version C, lifestyle behaviours (hours of sleep and work, exercise, smoking, substance use), career satisfaction and sociodemographic characteristics were obtained using paper or online questionnaires. Results Response rate was 30.9% (496/1607). Prevalence of CBI burnout was 63.1% (personal), 55.9% (work-related) and 35.4% (patient-related). The mean CBI subscale scores were 57.4±21.4 (personal), 48.9±7.4 (work-related) and 41.5±21.8 (client-related). Factors associated with personal and patient-related burnout included age (coeff −0.437, 95% CI −0.779 to −0.095 and coeff −0.596, 95% CI −0.965 to −0.228, respectively), practice setting (coeff −5.759, 95% CI −10.665 to −0.853 and coeff −5.317, 95% CI −10.602 to −0.032, respectively) and regular exercise (coeff −6.855, 95% CI −11.102 to −2.608 and coeff −6.769, 95% CI −11.333 to −2.205, respectively). Gender (coeff 5.1, 95% CI 1.382 to 8.818), average hours of sleep per night (coeff −5.200, 95% CI −7.139 to −3.262) and work hours per week (coeff 0.226, 95% CI 0.099 to 0.353) were associated with personal burnout only. No factors were significantly associated with work-related burnout. Conclusion Burnout is highly prevalent among Hong Kong medical graduates. Younger doctors, women and those working in the public sector appear to be at higher risk for burnout and may benefit from targeted interventions. Policymakers and healthcare authorities should consider measures to help reduce burnout by enabling adequate sleep, reducing work hours and encouraging exercise.

Abstract:Objective To evaluate the prevalence of burnout, its underlying personal or occupational stressors, and impact on individual well‐being and patient care. Design Cross‐sectional survey. Participants All emergency physicians in the public and the private sector in Hong Kong. Method Self‐administered, anonymous, voluntary questionnaires were distributed in physical and electronic forms from April to June 2022. Burnout was assessed by the Maslach Burnout Inventory (MBI). Stressors were assessed by questions on demographic, occupational, and social background. Impact was assessed by the Patient Health Questionnaire‐9 (PHQ‐9) for depression and questions on job satisfaction and self‐perceived patient care. Results The response rate was 37.8% (n = 241). Prevalence of high overall burnout was 28.2% (n = 68), with 47.7% (n = 115) having high emotional exhaustion, 63.1% (n = 152) high depersonalization, and 56% (n = 135) low personal accomplishment. A higher burnout rate was observed in younger age, female, not married, job position (associate consultant, resident specialist, and higher trainee), working on shift duty, more night shifts, and consecutive shifts. Abstract:Objective:To understand the changes in the practice environment from the perspective of doctors in 136 tertiary public hospitals, and to provide evidence for formulating strategies and measures to improve the practice environment of doctors.Methods:The data was collected from five rounds of China Healthcare Improvement Evaluation Survey from December 2015 to March 2021. The sample size was 17 945, 19 774, 20 786, 23 289, and 22 836, with a total of 104 630. The self-designed questionnaire on four dimensions of doctor-patient relationship, workload, administrative logistics support and professional identity was performed.Results:From the 1st to the 5th survey, the approval ratio of " the administrative and logistics department of this hospital is highly efficient" showed the characteristics of " U-shaped distribution" , and the approval ratio of " approve or encourage children to continue to engage in medical work" increased from 13.38% to 23.91%.From the 2nd to the 5th survey, the percentage of doctors who experienced doctor-patient disputes dropped from 28.96% to 23.20%, and the percentage of doctors agreeing that the relationship between doctors and patients in this hospital was improving continued to increase from 33.20% to 60.45%.From the 3rd to the 5th survey, the proportion of doctors experiencing medical troubles dropped from 15.10% to 14.19%, and the recognition rate of " the cafeteria of this hospital provided medical staff with nutritious and delicious meals" increased from 36.25% to 47.52%, and the approval proportion of " my current work load is heavy" dropped from 61.55% to 45.24%. The results of the 5th survey showed that there were significant differences in the approval ratios of each dimension in different genders, job titles and hospital types( P<0.001). Conclusions:From the perspective of doctor-patient relationship, workload, administrative logistics support, and professional identity, the improvement of doctors′ practice environment is still insufficient. Hospital administrators should continue to focus on the improvement of the doctor-patient relationship, and take necessary measures to reduce doctors′ workload and improve doctors′ professional identity.
Psychological distress, burnout level and job satisfaction in emergency medicine: A cross-sectional study of physicians in China.

Abstract:BackgroundChinese physicians are not only facing heavy work overloads, but also abuse and injury because of patient mistrust of physicians. The primary objective of the present study was to measure psychological distress, burnout levels and job satisfaction among Chinese emergency physicians. MethodsAll the physicians from the EDs of three large general hospitals were recruited to undertake a questionnaire-based survey from March to April 2012. The Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale (HADS), Maslach Burnout Inventory-General Survey and Minnesota Satisfaction Questionnaire were used. Correlations between job satisfaction and psychological distress and burnout were calculated using the Pearson correlation. An outcome was considered statistically significant if P < 0.05. ResultsCompleted questionnaires were received from 205 (82.0%) physicians. The mean HADS anxiety subscale scores for the ED physicians and general population were 7.8 3.4 and 4.7 +/- 3.5, respectively (t = 1.526, P < 0.05). Additionally, the mean HADS depression subscale scores were 7.9 +/- 3.6 and 4.7 +/- 3.9, respectively (t = 1.567, P < 0.05). Fifty-two (25.4%) exhibited high levels of career burnout. All aspects of job satisfaction were significantly lower in the ED physicians compared with a previous report (P < 0.05). Burnout was significantly negatively correlated with intrinsic and extrinsic job satisfaction in the sampled population. ConclusionPsychological distress is prevalent in this group of ED physicians, and it deserves attention from the whole society. Burnout and job satisfaction among ED physicians are at a moderate' level. Burnout is negatively associated with higher job satisfaction.

Abstract:BackgroundPhysician motivation to maintain public welfare has become the key for the New Public Hospital Reform in China. This study aimed to apply a different perspective, the psychological contract (a popular concept in business management research) and explore the correlations between physicians' psychological contract and their job satisfaction, intention to leave medical practice, and professionalism.MethodsA cross-sectional survey was conducted using a stratified sampling method in Shanghai, Hubei, and Gansu in China from June 10 to October 30, 2013. Anonymous, self-administered questionnaires were distributed in 123 public hospitals. We developed a scale on physicians' psychological contract including four dimensions (transactional, developmental, relational, and ideological responsibilities of hospitals), and it was proved to be valid and reliable. We designed the content on professionalism under the framework of the Medical Professionalism Project's Physician's Charter. A structural equation model was used for analysis.Findings2210 physicians participated in this survey and 1656 valid questionnaires were collected. The result showed that the fulfilment of hospital transactional, developmental, and relational responsibilities had significantly positive relationships with physicians' job satisfaction (standardised correlation coefficient 0·22 [p<0·001], 0·10 [p<0·05], 0·28 [p<0·001], respectively.), fulfilment of transactional and developmental responsibilities had notably negative relationships with intention to leave (−0·15 [p<0·001], −0·12 [p<0·01], respectively.), and fulfilment of ideological responsibilities had a remarkably positive correlation with professionalism (0·26 [p<0·001]).InterpretationThese findings suggest that the higher the standard of ethical rules and expectations that hospitals adhere to in practice, the higher the level of professionalism of physicians. They also indicate that the better the fulfilment of the psychological contract, the greater physicians' job satisfaction and lower intention to leave medical practice. The results could have implications for hospital management and health-care policy making. Abstract:UNLABELLED Oral Diseases (2010) 16, 781-787 OBJECTIVE: This study addressed the relationship between periodontal condition and second derivative of the finger photoplethysmogram (SDPTG) in Japanese adults. SUBJECT AND METHODS The Community Periodontal Index (CPI) and SDPTG were recorded in 415 subjects (mean age: 44.0 years). For assessing SDPTG, we mainly focused on the ratio of the absolute value of the height of the early negative 'b' wave and ratio of the late re-decreasing 'd' wave to the height of the initial positive 'a' wave, namely the b/a and d/a ratios. RESULTS The CPI score was positively correlated with the b/a ratio (P < 0.001), and negatively correlated with the d/a ratio (P < 0.001). Logistic regression analysis showed that subjects with CPI scores ≥ 3 were more likely to have a higher level (male > -0.69, female > -0.64) of b/a ratio (Odds ratio = 1.7, P = 0.026) and lower level (male ≤ -0.29, female ≤ -0.32) of d/a ratio (Odds ratio = 2.2, P =0.001) than those with CPI scores 0-2, after adjusting for age, gender, smoking status, pulse rate and presence of hypertension. CONCLUSION There was a statistical association between the CPI scores and SDPTG indices in Japanese adults.

Abstract:BACKGROUND In recent studies, the combination of azithromycin and artesunate has proven to be a promising alternative for the treatment of uncomplicated falciparum malaria. METHODS We conducted a randomized, controlled clinical trial assessing the efficacy of azithromycin-artesunate combination therapy. The study was conducted involving 228 patients aged 8-65 years. Patients were randomized to 1 of 2 cohorts at a ratio of 2:1, receiving either azithromycin-artesunate once daily for 3 days (30 mg/kg per day of azithromycin plus 4 mg/kg per day of artesunate) or an adult dose of 80 mg of artemether plus 960 mg of lumefantrine (4 tablets Coartem or the equivalent for children weighing <35 kg) twice daily for 3 days. RESULTS The 42-day cure rate by Kaplan-Meier analysis was 94.6% (95% confidence interval [CI], 89.38%-97.44%) in the azithromycin-artesunate arm and 97.0% (95% CI, 89.45%-99.40%) in the control arm. Fever clearance times and parasite clearance times did not show any differences between the 2 arms (P=.59 and .95, respectively). No serious adverse events were seen, but the percentage of patients who developed any adverse event was higher in the control group (P=.03). CONCLUSIONS Our data suggest that azithromycin-artesunate is an efficacious and well-tolerated treatment for patients with uncomplicated falciparum malaria in Bangladesh.
A systematic review of burnout among doctors in China: a cultural perspective

Abstract:BackgroundNumerous studies around the world has already suggested that burnout among doctors is a global phenomenon. However, studies for burnout in doctors are relatively limited in Chinese communities when compared to the West. As risk factors, barriers to intervention and strategies combatting burnout in different parts of the world can vary a lot due to different social culture and healthcare system, study with a focus at doctors in China from a cultural perspective is a worthful endeavor.MethodsSystematic searches of databases were conducted for papers published in peer-reviewed journals from 2006 to 2016. Selection criteria included practicing doctors in Mainland China and publications written in English or Chinese. Keywords searched including “burnout”, “doctors” and “China” in 3 electronic databases has been undergone. Traditional understanding of “work attitude” and “doctors’ humanity” from ancient Chinese literature has also been retrieved.ResultsEleven full papers, including 9302 participants, were included in this review. The overall prevalence of burnout symptoms among doctors in China ranged from 66.5 to 87.8%. The review suggested that negative impact of burnout include association with anxiety symptoms and low job satisfaction at the individual doctors’ level, and prone to committing medical mistakes affecting patient safety and higher turnover intention at the society/organizational level. Burnout was higher among doctors who worked over 40 h/week, working in tertiary hospitals, on younger age group within the profession (at age 30-40), and with negative individual perception to work and life.Conclusions and implicationsThe overall prevalence and adverse impact of burnout among doctors in China echo with the findings from Western studies. Young doctors and doctors working in tertiary hospitals are more at risk of burnout, probably related to shift of social culture related to the loss of medical humanities and a weak primary healthcare system. Potential strategies of managing burnout in Chinese doctors should therefore take consideration from the Chinese cultural perspective, with renaissance of medical humanities and strengthening the primary healthcare system in China.

Abstract:BackgroundNationally over 50% of physicians report symptoms of burnout.ObjectiveTo understand the perspectives of health system leaders and frontline physicians on contributors to physician burnout and strategies to improve well-being.DesignWe conducted in-depth interviews with health system leaders and frontline physicians at a large, predominantly fee-for-service, multispecialty group practice with approximately 1300 physicians.ParticipantsThe 17 participants included 15 physicians, (12 Internal Medicine and Family Medicine physicians and 3 from other specialties), 11 individuals in leadership roles, and 11 women.ApproachInterviews included a review of factors associated with burnout at the organization, asking participants which factors they believed contributed to burnout, questions about experiences of burnout, and what specific changes would improve well-being.Key ResultsAll 17 participants agreed that organizational factors were key contributors to burnout, while only 9 mentioned the salience of individual factors: "It does not matter how resilient or positive you are, the work environment, especially in primary care will eventually be a problem." An increasing workload associated with the electronic health record (EHR) and a culture focused on productivity were cited as contributing to burnout, especially among physicians in Internal Medicine and Family Medicine (primary care) departments. Physicians in primary care, women, and leaders described multiple barriers to well-being. Participants described responding to increased workloads by reducing clinical work hours. Participants suggested reducing and compensating EHR work, expanding care teams/support staff, reducing use of metrics, providing more support to leaders, changing the business model, and increasing positivity and collegiality, as essential to improving well-being.ConclusionInterviews reveal a variety of interacting factors contributing to physician burnout. Reducing clinical work hours has become a coping strategy. Changes recommended to improve physician well-being include increasing support staff, reducing EHR workload, changing revenue generation and compensation approaches, and shifting organizational culture to place more value on physician wellness.

Abstract:In the context of sustainable development, the occupational sphere must be integrally considered within health promotion frameworks, ensuring an equitable work–life balance while recognizing and amplifying the capabilities of every employee. Concurrently, there is a notable trend of physicians transitioning from public to private healthcare sectors, with burnout frequently cited in scholarly discourse as a primary catalyst for this shift. The objective of our study was to examine the vulnerability of medical staff to burnout. To achieve this, we conducted a cross-sectional analysis involving 1084 physicians from various specialties, employed in urban hospital settings. This research was executed via the distribution of an anonymous questionnaire, utilizing the Google Forms platform during work hours. The questionnaire was based on the Maslach Burnout Inventory (MBI) scale, specifically adapted for medical professionals, requiring respondents to provide insights into their experiences. Analysis of the collected data from a total of 614 respondents indicated a moderate predisposition towards burnout among the sample. These findings underscore the necessity for interventions targeting organizational flexibility and, notably, the restructuring of remuneration practices. Salaries often do not reflect the terms of employment contracts across numerous EU jurisdictions, necessitating urgent reforms. In conclusion, the reinforcement of interpersonal dynamics within medical teams and between healthcare institutions and their practitioners emerges as a critical strategy. Enhancing these relationships is essential for revitalizing the healthcare delivery system, ensuring that medical professionals are adequately compensated in alignment with the principles of sustainable employment.
