Abstract:It is of vital importance to develop probes to monitor hypochlorous acid (HClO) in biological systems as HClO is associated with many important physiological and pathological processes. Metal nanoclusters (NCs) are promising luminescent nanomaterials for highly reactive oxygen species (hROS) detection on the basis of their strong reaction ability with hROS. However, metal NCs typically can respond to most common hROS and are susceptible to etching by biothiols, hindering their application in the construction of effective HClO probes. Herein, we proposed a strategy to develop a nanoprobe based on Au NCs for highly sensitive and selective detection of HClO. We synthesized luminescent benzyl mercaptan-stabilized Au NCs and encapsulated them with an amphiphilic polymer (DSPE-PEG). After encapsulation, an obvious emission enhancement and good resistance to the etching by biothiols for Au NCs were achieved. More importantly, the DSPE-PEG encapsulated Au NCs can be used as a nanoprobe for detection of HClO with good performance. The luminescence of the Au NCs was effectively and selectively quenched by HClO. A good linear relationship with the concentration of HClO in the range of 5-35 mu M and a limit of detection (LOD) of 1.4 mu M were obtained. Additionally, this nanoprobe was successfully used for bioimaging and monitoring of HClO changes in live cells, suggesting the application potential of the as-prepared amphiphilic polymer-encapsulated Au NCs for further HClO-related biomedical research.
A Ratiometric Fluorescence Probe Based on Silver Nanoclusters and CdSe/ZnS Quantum dots for the Detection of Hydrogen Peroxide by Aggregation and Etching

Abstract:In this study, a ratiometric fluorescence nanoprobe is developed for the analysis of hydrogen peroxide (H 2 O 2 ). Silver nanoclusters (AgNCs) were synthesized by chemical reduction method using sodium borohydride (NaBH 4 ) as reducing agent, and were coupled with CdSe/ZnS quantum dots (QDs) to form the ratiometric fluorescence nanoprobe silver nanoclusters-quantum dots (AgNCs-QDs). The effect of the volume ratio of CdSe/ZnS QDs to AgNCs on the fluorescence ratio of AgNCs-QDs was investigated. The fluorescence characterization results show that two emission peaks of AgNCs-QDs are located at 473 nm and 661 nm, respectively. Transmission electron microscope (TEM) and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) results show that H 2 O 2 can cause the fluorescence probe to aggregate, while etching AgNCs to produce silver ions, which together cause the fluorescence of the QDs in the ratiometric fluorescent probe to be quenched. Based on this strategy, the fluorescence intensity ratio of the two emission peaks F 473 /F 661 exhibits a strong linear correlation with the concentration of H 2 O 2 . The detection range is 3.32 μM ~ 2.65 mM with a detection limit of 3.32 μM. In addition, the ratiometric fluorescence probe can specifically recognize H 2 O 2 and has excellent anti-interference performance and good fluorescence stability. Importantly, the probe was utilized for the detection of H 2 O 2 in serum, showing the possibility of the probe in clinical detection applications.

Fluorescein-5-isothiocyanate-conjugated protein-directed synthesis of gold nanoclusters for fluorescent ratiometric sensing of an enzyme-substrate system

Abstract:This study describes the synthesis of a dual emission probe for the fluorescent ratiometric sensing of hydrogen peroxide (H2O2), enzyme activity, and environmental pH change. Green-emitting fluorescein-5-isothiocyanate (FITC) was conjugated to the amino groups of bovine serum albumin (BSA). This FITC-conjugated BSA acted as a template for the synthesis of red-emitting gold nanoclusters (AuNCs) under alkaline conditions. Under single wavelength excitation, FITC/BSA-stabilized AuNCs (FITC/BSA-AuNCs) emitted fluorescence at 525 and 670nm, which are sensitive to changes in solution pH and H2O2 concentration, respectively. The effective fluorescence quenching of AuNCs by H2O2 enabled FITC/BSA-AuNCs to ratiometrically detect the H2O2 product-related enzyme system and its inhibition, including glucose oxidase-catalyzed oxidation of glucose, acetylcholinesterase/choline oxidase-mediated hydrolysis and oxidation of acetylcholine, and paraoxon-induced inhibition of acetylcholinesterase activity. When pH-insensitive AuNCs were used as an internal standard, FITC/BSA-AuNCs offered a sensitive and reversible ratiometric sensing of a 0.1-pH unit change in the pH range 5.0-8.5. The pH-induced change in FITC fluorescence enabled FITC/BSA-AuNCs to detect an ammonia product-related enzyme system. This was exemplified with the determination of urea in plasma by urease-mediated hydrolysis of urea.
Attractive benzothiazole-based fluorescence probe for the highly efficient detection of hydrogen peroxide

Abstract:In current work, one novel benzothiazole-based fluorescent chemosensor (TZ-BO) with ESIPT luminescence mechanism was designed for the detection of hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) as typical reactive oxygen species (ROS). The boronate catenary in our designed probe molecule TZ-BO is both the blocking group of ESIPT and the reactive group of H2O2. The synthesized probe TZ-BO has the advantages of large Stokes shift, high sensitivity, good selectivity, and fast reaction speed to H2O2. The ability of the probe to detect H2O2 in aqueous media and exogenous H2O2 in cells by fluorescence signal was investigated. The experimental results manifested that probe TZ-BO is able to sensitively detect H2O2 using a fluorescence method in an excellent linear range of H2O2 concentration from 0 to 60 μM (R2 = 0.994). The detection limit was determined as 1.0 × 10−6 M. Most importantly, the probe TZ-BO with highly low cytotoxicity can effectively detect exogenous H2O2 in HeLa cells. This probe provides a promising tool for monitoring the real concentration level of H2O2 in related physiological and pathological researches.

Abstract:Overabundance of hydrogen peroxide originating from environmental stress and/or genetic mutation can lead to pathological conditions. Thus, the highly sensitive detection of H2O2 is important. Herein, supramolecular fluorescent nanoparticles self-assembled from fluorescein isothiocyanate modified -cyclodextrin (FITC--CD)/rhodamine B modified ferrocene (Fc-RB) amphiphile were prepared through host-guest interaction between FITC--CD host and Fc-RB guest for H2O2 detection in cancer cells. The self-assembled nanoparticles based on a combination of multiple non-covalent interactions in aqueous medium showed high sensitivity to H2O2 while maintaining stability under physiological condition. Owing to the fluorescence resonance energy transfer (FRET) effect, addition of H2O2 led to obvious fluorescence change of nanoparticles from red (RB) to green (FITC) in fluorescent experiments. In vitro study showed the fluorescent nanoparticles could be efficiently internalized by cancer cells and then disrupted by endogenous H2O2, accompanying with FRET from on to off. These supramolecular fluorescent nanoparticles constructed via multiple non-covalent interactions are expected to have potential applications in diagnosis and imaging of diseases caused by oxidative stresses.

Abstract:Hydrogen peroxide(H2O2), as a reliable signaling biomolecule for oxidative stress, its accurate detection during agent-stimulated oxidative stress plays a vital role in pathological and physiological mechanism exploration for disease theranostics. It's necessary to develop an efficient method for their detection. In view of the advantages of fluorescent probes, we rationally constructed a novel fluorescent probe Compound 2 based on 4-(Bromomethyl)benzeneboronic acid pinacol ester_Herein, a small molecule fluorescent probe was fabricated using isoflore nitrile as fluorescent group, phenylboronic acid pinacol ester as the response group, to detect H2O2. The probe Compound 2 has a strong fluorescence intensity at 575 nm, indicating that the structure of the probe molecule is reasonably designed, and the Stokes shift is up to 172 nm. While the detection time is as low as 30 s and the LOD of the probe for H2O2 is as low as 3.7 μmol/L,the quantum yield is Φ = 40.31 %. It has been successfully used for imaging detection of H2O2 in HepG2 cells and zebrafish for its low toxicity. It can be found that this small molecule fluorescent probe can identify H2O2 in tumor cells significantly and efficiently, which would realize the early diagnosis of tumor.

Abstract:The fluorescence of metal nanoclusters provides an amusing optic feature to be applied in various fields. However, rational design of dual functional fluorescent metal nanoclusters directed by active enzyme with targeted application remains little explored. In this work, we report a new strategy to construct enzyme functionalizecl fluorescent gold nanoclusters via a biomineralization process for the detection of hydrogen peroxide. Horseradish peroxidase (HRP) was used as a model functional template to direct the synthesis of fluorescent gold nanoclusters (Au NCs) at physiological conditions to form HRP-Au NCs bioconjugates. We found that the fluorescence of HRP-Au NCs can be quenched quantitatively by adding H2O2, indicating that HRP enzyme remains active and enables catalytic reaction of HRP-Au NCs and H2O2. Upon the addition of H2O2 under optimal conditions, the fluorescence intensity quenched linearly over the range of 100 nM to 100 mu M with high sensitivity (LOD = 30 nM, S/N = 3). This study would be potentially extended to other functional proteins to generate dual functional nanoclusters and applied to real time monitoring of biologically important targets in living cells.
Responsive Nanoprobe for Ratiometric Florescence Detection of Hydroxyl Radical in Macrophage Polarization

Abstract:Quantification of hydroxyl radical (•OH), one form of reactive oxygen species (ROS), plays critical roles in early diagnosis and treatment monitoring of various diseases. In this work, we report the development of a responsive nanoprobe for ratiometric fluorescence detection and imaging of •OH in macrophage polarization. The nanoprobe, BSA-CCA@LDH-SRB, was designed and prepared using coumarin 3-carboxylic acid (CCA) as the sensing unit for •OH, and sulforhodamine B (SRB) loaded on layered double hydroxide (LDH) served as the fluorescent reference component. The coupling of CCA to bovine serum albumin (BSA) and the loading of BSA-CCA on the surface of LDH enabled the nanoprobe for fluorescence detection of •OH with high sensitivity and minimal interference from other biomolecules, ions, and ROS. The emission of the prepared BSA-CCA@LDH-SRB at 444 nm emerged and the intensity was increased according to the concentration of •OH, while the emission at 580 nm was maintained, allowing the nanoprobe for ratiometric fluorescence (F444/580) detection of •OH. Loading of the BSA protein on LDH surface, the biocompatibility and colloidal stability of the LDH-based fluorescent nanoprobe were further improved, facilitating the detection of •OH generation in macrophage polarization stimulated by both biomolecules and physical ultrasound irradiation. This study thus offers a new nanoprobe as the tool for investigating •OH evolutions, advancing the biomedical investigations of macrophage polarization associated inflammation.

Abstract:A dual-mechanism intramolecular charge transfer (ICT)-FRET fluorescent probe for the selective detection of H2O2 in living cells has been designed and synthesized. This probe used a coumarin-naphthalimide hybrid as the FRET platform and a boronate moiety as the recognition group. Upon the addition of H2O2, the probe exhibited a redshifted (73nm) fluorescence emission, and the ratio of fluorescence intensities at =558 and 485nm (F-558/F-485) shifted notably (up to 100-fold). Moreover, there was a good linearity (R-2=0.9911) between the ratio and concentration of H2O2 in the range of 0 to 60m, with a limit of detection of 0.28m (signal to noise ratio (S/N)=3). This probe could also detect enzymatically generated H2O2. Importantly, it could be used to visualize endogenous H2O2 produced by stimulation from epidermal growth factor.

Abstract:Hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) plays an important role in the initiation and progression of many diseases. Therefore, the detection of H2O2 in vivo is very important to elucidate its biological functions in various diseases. At present, the research of fluorescent probes has attracted wide attention. Fluorescent probes are becoming more and more useful as tools for detecting various substances. In this paper, we present a novel fluorescent probe capable of selectively detecting H2O2 in organisms. This probe is based on the design strategy of the recognition of H2O2 enhancing the water-solubility, as a result, producing the turn-on fluorescence intensity. With the increase of hydrogen peroxide concentration, the fluorescence intensity of the newly as-prepared probe is enhanced. There was a good linear relationship when the concentration range of hydrogen peroxide was from 1 μM to 100 μM. In terms of cell imaging work, the detection of endogenous and exogenous H2O2 in RAW 264.7 macrophage cells showed obvious fluorescence enhancement under confocal microscopy. So this new probe has been shown to be a reliable chemical tool for detecting the generation and development of H2O2-related diseases in living systems.

Abstract:In-situ determination of cell-secreted biomolecules is important for elucidating its regulation of signal transduction pathways, but detecting these low-level endogenous biomolecules is difficult. Herein, using H2O2 as the detection object, we developed an ultrasensitive enzyme-free ratiometric electrochemical sensing platform in a simple and low-cost method for in-situ determination of cell-secreted H2O2, in which ferrocene (Fc) acts as an internal reference probe and nanoflower Au-Co-MOF acts a detection probe. First, flower-like CoFc-MOF was synthesized in situ on flexible carbon cloth (CC) by a one-step hydrothermal method, and then Au-CoFc-MOF/CC was obtained by electrodeposition of gold nanoparticles. The electrochemical measurement results show that the presence of H2O2 increases the reduction peak signal of Co-MOF (−0.32 V), while that of Fc (+0.4 V) is almost unchanged. By taking full advantage of the obviously separated reduction potential of Fc and Co-MOF, the well-designed sensing platform can reflect the concentration of H2O2 based on the I H2O2 – I blank/I Fc value in the 0.5 μM–10 mM range, with a detection limit as low as 32 nM, which is ∼15.6 times lower than the value obtained from the single signal method. In addition, the sensing platform also demonstrates excellent selectivity, reproducibility, stability, and biocompatibility. More significantly, this ratiometric electrochemical sensing platform based on flexible substrate shows great application potential in the in-situ determination of cell-secreted H2O2, which provides a feasible strategy for detecting other active substances released from living cells in clinical diagnosis.

Abstract:It is crucial to develop sensitive and accurate sensing strategies to detect H2O2 and glucose in biological systems. Herein, biocompatible iron-coordinated L-lysine–based hydrogen peroxide (H2O2)-mimetic enzymes (Lys-Fe-NPs) were prepared by precipitation polymerization in aqueous solution. The coordinated Fe2+ ion acted as centers of peroxidase-like enzymes of Lys-Fe-NPs, and the catalytic activity was evaluated via the oxidation of 3,3′,5,5′-tetramethylbenzidine (TMB) by H2O2. Therefore, a sensitive colorimetric detection sensor for H2O2 was constructed with a linear range of 1 to 200 μM and a detection limit of 0.51 μM. The same method could also be applied to highly sensitive and selective detection of glucose, with a linear range of 0.5 to 150 μM and a detection limit of 0.32 μM. In addition, an agarose-based hydrogel biosensor colorimetric was successfully implemented for visual assessment and quantitative detection of glucose. The design provided a novel platform for constructing stable and nonprotein enzyme mimics with lysine and showed great potential applications in biorelevant assays.

Dual-emission copper nanoclusters-based ratiometric fluorescent probe for intracellular detection of hydroxyl and superoxide anion species

Abstract:A fluorescent nanoprobe based on copper nanoclusters (CuNCs) has been developed for ratiometric detection of hydroxyl radicals (•OH) and superoxide anion radicals (O2•-). Two differently luminescent CuNCs, namely cyan-emissive poly(methacrylic acid)-protected copper nanoclusters (PCuNCs) and orange-emissive bovine serum albumin-protected CuNCs (BCuNCs), were conjugated to obtain a hybrid, dual-emission nanoprobe (PCuNCs-BCuNCs) with the corresponding peaks at 445 nm and 652 nm at an excitation wavelength of 360 nm. In particular, the fluorescence peak at 445 nm gradually enhanced with the incremental addition of •OH and O2•-. However, the fluorescence emission at 652 nm was greatly quenched in the presence of •OH, while in case of O2•-, the fluorescence intensity remained constant. The differential response of the PCuNCs-BCuNCs towards •OH and O2•- formed the basis of ratiometric detection. Under optimal conditions, the PCuNCs-BCuNCs exhibited good sensitivity and linearity towards •OH and O2•- with limits of detection of 0.15 μM and 1.8 μM, respectively. Moreover, the nanoprobe exhibited high selectivity for •OH and O2•- over other potential ROS interferences. Besides, PCuNCs-BCuNCs were eventually applied for qualitative and quantitative ratiometric assessment of intracellular •OH and O2•- in L-132 cells. Therefore, this strategy unveils a new potential for copper nanocluster-based sensing of ROS.
A Novel Fluorescent Probe for the Detection of Hydrogen Peroxide

Abstract:Hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) is one of the important reactive oxygen species (ROS), which is closely related to many pathological and physiological processes in living organisms. Excessive H2O2 can lead to cancer, diabetes, cardiovascular diseases, and other diseases, so it is necessary to detect H2O2 in living cells. Since this work designed a novel fluorescent probe to detect the concentration of H2O2, the H2O2 reaction group arylboric acid was attached to the fluorescein 3-Acetyl-7-hydroxycoumarin as a specific recognition group for the selective detection of hydrogen peroxide. The experimental results show that the probe can effectively detect H2O2 with high selectivity and measure cellular ROS levels. Therefore, this novel fluorescent probe provides a potential monitoring tool for a variety of diseases caused by H2O2 excess.

Abstract:Recently, growing attention has been paid to the accurate determination of hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) for elucidating its detailed biological function in physiology and pathology. A fluorescence method with the help of a fluorescent probe is the preferred technique for in situ visualization of biologically important species in vivo, even in single living cells. In the present manuscript, we developed a simple, fast response and highly selective fluorescent probe (1) with a receptor of the boronate moiety for the ratiometric imaging of H2O2 in living cells. Probe 1 could quantifiably detect H2O2 in the range of 18540 mM by a ratiometric fluorescence spectroscopy method with a detection limit of 4 mM. Importantly, probe 1 exhibited 81 nm red-shifted absorption spectra accompanied by the color changes from colorless to yellow, and 100 nm red-shifted emission spectra upon addition of H2O2. Thus, 1 can serve as a ''naked-eye'' probe for H2O2. Preliminary bioimaging application and low cytotoxicity investigations further demonstrated that the proposed probe would be of great benefit to biomedical researchers for investigating the detailed biological function of H2O2 in biological systems.
Near-infrared fluorescence probe for hydrogen peroxide detection: design, synthesis, and application in living systems

Abstract:Using fluorescent probes to detect endogenous hydrogen peroxide, which is associated with many diseases in the human body, remains an essential technique. Cyanine fluorochromes are a class of dyes that have attracted much attention and are widely used in the synthesis of fluorescent probes. In this article, a novel near-infrared (NIR) fluorescence probe for the detection of hydrogen peroxide was constructed and successfully applied to imaging endogenous hydrogen peroxide in vivo. Notably, probe 1 was designed by connecting 4-(bromomethyl)benzeneboronic acid pinacol ester as the sensing unit to the IR-780 hemicyanine skeleton, which exhibits excellent properties like NIR fluorescence emission over 700 nm. Probe 1 has satisfactory sensitivity to hydrogen peroxide with a low detection limit of 0.14 μM (S/N = 3), attributed to a responding mechanism that leads to the oxidation of phenylboronic acid pinacol ester and thereby releases fluorophore 2. Moreover, probe 1 displays excellent selectivity towards hydrogen peroxide over other substances. Taking advantage of these properties, the probe proved to be cell-permeable. Based on the results of N-acetylcysteine and rotenone together, probe 1 is capable of clearly visualizing endogenously produced hydrogen peroxide in living HepG2 cells and mice. The superior performance of the probe, as a reliable chemical tool, makes it of great potential application for exploring the role played by hydrogen peroxide in biological systems.
Monodispersed silver-gold nanorods controllable etching for ultrasensitive SERS detection of hydrogen peroxide-involved metabolites

Abstract:Hydrogen peroxide (H2O2)-involved metabolites are widely engaged in cellular metabolism, and play significant roles in cell proliferation, cell growth, and signaling transduction. It is highly desirable to establish a method for the detection of H2O2-involved metabolites for applications ranging from chemical sensing to biomedical diagnosis. Herein, monodispersed sandwich @ nanorods (referred to as AMPRs) with bright Raman emission were developed to serve as a universal platform for detecting H2O2-involved metabolites (4-mercaptobenzonitrile is abbreviated to 4-MBN as the Raman reporter and PEG is polyethylene glycol). The system detects metabolites through changes in the surface-enhanced Raman scattering (SERS) spectrum, resulting from the controllable etching of the silver layer by the H2O2 produced by the metabolites. The integrative nanoplatform was successfully used to quantify the levels of glucose, lactate, and choline in aqueous solutions by exploiting the close linear relationship between the intensity of a SERS band and the logarithmic concentration of H2O2. The presented SERS nanoplatform demonstrated considerable practicability for the detection of glucose in cerebrospinal fluid samples (with a limit of detection (LOD) of 1.76 μM), and was capable of distinguishing infected from uninfected individuals. Therefore, the SERS sensor provides a new platform for the detection of H2O2-involved metabolites in biological fluids, and has potential for use in metabolite analysis and biomedical diagnostics.

Abstract:Given the importance of hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) in many biological processes and its wide application in various industries, the demand for sensitive, accurate, and economical H2O2 sensors is high. In this study, we used Fenton reaction-stimulated fluorescence quenching of N-acetyl-L-cysteine-protected gold nanoclusters (NAC-AuNCs) as a reporter system for the determination of H2O2. After the experimental conditions were optimized, the sensing platform enabled the analysis of H2O2 with a limit of detection (LOD) as low as 0.027 mu M. As the glucose oxidase cascade leads to the generation of H2O2 and catalase catalyzes the decomposition of H2O2, these two biocatalytic procedures can be probed by the Fenton reaction-mediated quenching of NAC-AuNCs. The LOD for glucose was found to be 0.18 mu M, and the linear range was 0.39-27.22 mu M. The LOD for catalase was 0.002 U mL(-1), and the linear range was 0.01-0.3 U mL(-1). Moreover, the proposed sensing methods were successfully applied for human serum glucose detection and the non-invasive determination of catalase activity in human saliva, demonstrating their great potential for practical applications.
Enzyme-Mimetic Antioxidant Luminescent Nanoparticles for Highly Sensitive Hydrogen Peroxide Biosensing

Abstract:Hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) is an abundant molecule associated with biological functions and reacts with natural enzymes, such as catalase. Even though direct H2O2 measurement can be used to diagnose pathological conditions, such as infection and inflammation, H2O2 quantification further enables the detection of disease biomarkers in enzyme-linked assays (e.g., ELISA) in which enzymatic reactions may generate or consume H2O2. Such a quantification is often measured optically with organic dyes in biological media that suffer, however, from poor stability. Currently, the optical H2O2 biosensing without organic-dyes in biological media and at low, submicromolar, concentrations has yet to be achieved. Herein, we rationally design biomimetic artificial enzymes based on antioxidant CeO2 nanoparticles that become luminescent upon their Eu3+ doping. We vary systematically their diameter from 4 to 16 nm and study their catalase-mimetic antioxidant activity, manifested as catalytic H2O2 decomposition in aqueous solutions, revealing a strong nanoparticle surface area dependency. The interaction with H2O2 influences distinctly the particle luminescence rendering them highly sensitive H2O2 biosensors down to 0.15 μM (5.2 ppb) in solutions for biological assays. Our results link two, so far, unrelated research domains, the CeO2 nanoparticle antioxidant activity and luminescence by rare-earth doping. When these enzyme-mimetic nanoparticles are coupled with alcohol oxidase, biosensing can be extended to ethanol exemplifying how their detection potential can be broadened to additional biologically relevant metabolites. The enzyme-mimetic nanomaterial developed here could serve as a starting point of sophisticated in vitro assays toward the highly sensitive detection of disease biomarkers.

Abstract:The design of optical nanosensors based on carbon nanozymes has gained considerable interest in analyte detection. In this study, a simple and rapid fluorescence/colorimetry probe, NH 2 GQDs/o-phenylenediamine (OPD), was constructed by combining amino-functionalized graphene quantum dots (NH 2 GQDs) and o-phenylenediamine. In the presence of NH 2 GQDs/H 2 O 2 , OPD was oxidized to 2,3-diaminophenazine (DAP), giving fluorescent and colorimetric signals, which can be used to quantitatively measure H 2 O 2 . Furthermore, NH 2 GQDs/OPD/ H 2 O 2 exhibited high selectivity and sensitivity for detecting ascorbic acid (AA) with a detection limit of 0.062 μM using the fluorescent method. Its selectivity for AA was ascribed to the formation of the condensation compound of DAP with dehydroascorbic acid rather than the quinoxaline path for dopamine and glucose. The colorimetric sensing system NH 2 GQDs/OPD displayed yellow in the presence of H 2 O 2 , while it changed to green upon adding AA. This sensing system was successfully applied for imaging H 2 O 2 and AA in human cervical cancer cells and onion tissues. Additionally, the flexible sensing system can be used to fabricate the logic gate "AND." The results provide a valuable method for its potential application in the biosensing, clinical medicine, and food industries.
